You're right mtc...
Remember how much communication we saw for most of 2013? The information that has been released this year has been immensely greater. Would I like some real press releases? Who wouldn't? But they'll come in due time. All signs thus far point to someone who is building a product and a manufacturing system that is sustainable, controlled, and ready for growth. A product that's versatile for multiple industries, has multiple price points, and is easy to use seems like a winner IMO. Doing all that takes time. I'm holding all my shares, and I've added small amounts from time to time. I don't see the point of rehashing hiccups over and over, but I guess we need something to talk about on a message board.
If you need me, I'll be "hanging around... hanging around. Kid's got alligator blood. Can't get rid of him."
Is this a new update on the Vortex site?
Having listed our Vortex on ebay, we have gotten so much response that we have decided to create the Vortex VTA50m (manual) and the VTA50A (automatic). What does this mean to the market for our machines. We are on the final statges of the PID controller which will regulate the vortex kettle to any temperature that is set in 3 stages, Heat-Cool-Hold
After lengthy discussions about our Vortex units with our distributors about the needs of this undustry which we were told requests have been coming on for years for a new better accurate and FAST machine, we have added this PID option. If you want to just heat and melt compound ( non temper chocolate) or soap and wax or food items such as soup or chili etc. The VTA50M is the choice. BUT if you want to heat-cool-temper chocolates such as Milk chocolate or very delicate chocolates that require percise temperatures, the VTA50A is the answer.
Because of our design and patent Pending jet intakes to heat and cool the chocolate form the inside as well as the outer wall (unlike other water jacketed units that heat only on the outer wall) our units will get the process done faster and more accurately then any unit on the market.....
A breif lesson in chocolate
There are two types of chocolate. Compound is chocolate flavored artificial chocolate that many buy in chip form, melt on their store or microwave to make or dip items. Compound is also used in many large manufacturers to make easter bunnies where it states on the package "Chocolate Flaovor" etc.
What is compound
Compound is made from a bi product of real chocolate. Early on in the chocolate industry a man found that if he took this powder bi product and mix it with oils (hydroginated palm oil) and milk solids, he could make what looks and tastes like chocolate but in fact is artificial. the benefits are: its cheaper than real milk chocolate and you do not need to temper it and is easy to use because it can be melted at 115 degrees and fluctuate between 115 and 140 with ease.
You just simply melt and use. One drawback is TASTE! compound usually has a nasty artificial flavor but since many use to to make nut clusters or to coat truffles the bad taste gets lost when used with other ingredients. Another drawback is the use of Palm oils and other ingredeints that are considered bad for you.
What is Tempering chocolate
The art of tempering is not as easy as many say and many do not want to do it because of the complexity, but after a few times doing it, it becomes second nature. Chocolate has 6 crystals and its best to regroup 5 of them for a perfect final chocolate product that is shiney, hard and also has great texture.
First you choose dark, milk or white etc. Because you can buy various grades of chocolate depending on price, you can also choose texture. Many have eaten chocolates that may taste gritty or course and also chocolates that are smooth and creamy that melt in your mouth.
Those are the microns in the chocolate during the milling process. Spending time to milkk the chocolate smoother takes longer and makes a smooth creamy testure because the microns are below 16. Some chocolates that cost less have a gritty feel on your tougue becuase to make the chocolate cheaper, they just mill is for less time to keep costs down. Similar to aged scotch, 10 year old scotch costs much less than 50 year old scotch.
To temper this milk chocolate (not compound) requires 3 temeratures (melt-cool-hold). Because so many different chocolate makers use different makes and styles of chocolate, different temperatures are needed. For this reason our PID controller will have a memory bank to log in up to 20 diferent (melt-cool-hold) temperatres.
Our Vortex VTA50A will have a digital control box (still separate from the kettle to eliminate damage by chocolate or when cleaned after the kettle is used) and allow the operatore to log in three temperature settings for specific chocolates. This means that a company that uses Special dark low cocoa butter chocolate would program the PID with the setting A1, then put in Heat 130 deg, Cool 85 deg, Hold 91 deg, than hit enter. Then program another group as A2 which would be for High cocoa butter milk chocolate and program in, Heat 115 deg, Cool 80 deg, and hold 90 deg.
With the PID all programmed with the various groups of temperatures, the operator just has to choose which program is used for which chocolate is being used and a simply referring to the meny A1 for dark or A2 for milk. Because we have had some questions about this from India (one of the largest expanding chocolate markets) helped us to create this PID controller. It is being made as this week and requires NO modifications to the kettle, we simply just took our heat source and created a new unit that has this accuracy and progrmmable featue.
Because the PID is automated, the oparator simply has to turn on power switch and press the MELT button and the heat will rise to that preset "melt" temperature. Once the kettle is filled with chocolate the oparator simply presses the button again and the PID will drop the temperature to the setting in that program automatically and than after 15 minutes automatically rasie the temperature to the final "hold" programmed temperature for 15 minutes and signal a BEEP when it is ready. At that point the chocolate will be reay to use. To make another batch simply just press the "MELT" button again and the cycle will continue.
The VTA50M will cost between $3999 and $4999 *(depening if the motor and agitator is needed)
The VTA50A will cost between $4999 and $5499 *(depending if the motor and agitator is needed)
* some asked about the kttle being used for soups and sauces, soap and wax and rubber? that do not reauire the agitation or motor, just fast high heat. European adaptors will be available.
The news I'm waiting for now is bolded below
Re: Buyer... Guilty.
Had some residual cash in my account and didn't like the looks of the price in the .005s. Surprisingly couldn't get a fill at anything under .007.
.0078....
That was me - I was just seeing what kind of a price I could get. Some at .0077, some at .0078. I figure anything below .01, I'll keep adding shares. At 1.16M now.
Vortex + Patent Pendings + Factory =______
I can't wait to see what fills in that blank. I think patience is a key here because the foundation is seemingly being built with care. I get the feeling sunny skies are going to be in the shareholders' future.
GNGR
Green Light.
Not only because it's green for the day, but because this company is throwing a lot of coal on the fire. Great news.
GNGR
Thanks mtc44380!
Bottom line - this company has some serious innovation about to be set forth to anyone who needs something melted. And they have the products to support them. The potential is far greater than when this was a chocolate/fudge company. In my opinion of course. I'[m looking forward to what the future holds and in the meantime, me and my shares are standing strong. I'll probably pick up a few more along the way.
GNGR
GNGR #31 on the Breakout Board today! LOL
Me and my shares are staying right here.
Unfortunately, in a small community such as this, the negatives will always be magnified. The supporters can only do so much. it's tough to even post support here without being censored. I hope that Grant can ignore the garbage and focus on what he's been doing - building a great company. Grant, you do have people who believe in your mission and support you and aren't digging through your trash. Keep at it.
I can 100% see where Grant is coming from.
Well that email could've been phrased more tactfully.
You get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.
Fantastic news!
It'll be nice to see a little pop tomorrow before the weekend. I got a feeling all the patience shown by some is going to pay off nicely. Here's hoping for piña coladas on a beach somewhere.
GNGR
Grant has stated PRs and Financials are on the way.
Sure, that doesn't attract any new investors right at this moment, so it creates a perfect buying opportunity leading up to that, no?
The price dropped to what, .0025? And since then, it topped .01 briefly and that was without these "new potential investors" you speak of. Companies and products aren't made overnight - these things take time. Taking the proper steps to ensure products can't be copied is extremely beneficial to GNGR. I'm thankful for the communication we're receiving now, I look forward to the more mainstream communication on the horizon, and I'm excited for the future of this company.
To slice and dice a movie quote: If you build it, they will come.
GNGR
True, there have been no PRs in 14 months.
But, look at all that has happened in that timeframe. The development of the Vortex was something we never saw coming 14 months ago - we thought this was a chocolate and fudge company and based our interest and money on the growth from that angle. Now, there's a machine which can benefit multiple industries and with the supply sales going along with that, sales could increase far faster than on sales of chocolate alone. Of course, we haven't seen PRs or financials, but as Grant has stated - those are forthcoming. While the agreements and patents are being put in place for the Vortex, I'm completely comfortable with receiving updates via the websites - it shows something great is occurring and that's leaps and bounds above what we saw going on last year at this time.
Really? Making fun of grammar?
For over a year (I've held shares since October of '12), we had little to no communication. Now, we're getting lots of updates and inside looks at what's going on. A lot appears to be on the horizon, from financials, to patents, to large sales, to who knows what. If all we have to complain about is poor grammar in some communications, then I think we're doing pretty well. Less petty, more pennies.
GNGR
Is the ask really at $0.0115?
Patents?
I wonder if the patent filings are holding back showing off the Vortex at that Chocolate Expo? No idea - it's all speculation.
I don't see the news as quiet
While the patent applications are being done, I didn't think we'd see anything groundbreaking come from GNGR. Once the patent pendings are in place, then the news and additional information and videos can start flowing like sliky smooth, clean flowing chocolate. Gotta be getting close to the release of financials as well.
IMO, we should be seeing some huge developments within the next six weeks.
GNGR
Maybe that page is being updated?
Who knows - I'm sure it'll be back up and running soon. No worries.
Stock Chat
Just noticed Stock Chat on www.gunthergrant.com now requires a password?
GNGR
2014 is the year of Grant
Love the communication, love the stock chat, love the rant, and most importantly, love what's going on with GNGR and the Vortex.
Keep it up Grant.
GNGR
How did this board lose followers - especially now?
Lost a couple followers since yesterday. Strange.
Love all the new communication and love to see the spike without the PR and without the financials and without the removal of the stop sign.
Just makes me all that much more excited for the days of all those occurring.
GNGR
And we have $0.01!!!!
(according to Schwab)

GNGR #15 on the breakout board
Great volume and fantastic to see the bid creep higher and higher. Can't wait til the real news comes out.
Nice start to the day
Far better than a sell of 1,000 shares to drag the price down a bit. LOL
To add to the total...
I have 1.1 million. Started buying over a year ago. And have sold ZERO.
Love, love, love all the updates from Grant!
Vortex sales go through the roof... stop sign removed... great press releases... solid financials....
None of that is a pipe dream. We're on the threshold of great things - I can't wait to see it all unfold.
GNGR
Grant's a MAN I'VE NEVER MET, CEO working hard to build a business. I hope all his work will pay off for him and his investors.
It's nice to see volume
... After all those months of crickets.
I added a few more shares today - I think any buys under .01 are going to prove quite profitable in the very near term.

Is my invention protected when it is “patent pending”?
After you submit a patent application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), your invention is officially “patent pending” and you may use that term when describing the invention to others. In fact, because of the large backlog of cases at the USPTO, your invention is likely to stay “patent pending” for several years.
So what kind of protection do you have when your invention is patent pending? Is it safe to market your idea to others? Can they simply steal your invention from you once you disclose it to them?
Inventors will be glad to hear that the term “patent pending” actually carries a lot of weight when it comes to stopping others from stealing inventions. If an inventor has a patent pending for an invention and a company begins to use that invention without his permission, the inventor can proceed to get the patent issued and sue the company for patent infringement. Patent damages start to accrue from the date that the application is published 18 months after it is filed. Moreover, the inventor can get triple damages if he can prove the infringement was willful. Finally, the inventor may also get an injunction against the company, thereby stopping the company from selling any more of the infringing product.
All this is not good for the offending company. By the time the infringement case is over, that company may have to pay triple damages, have to quit selling the product, and lose all its development and marketing costs.
For this reason, you are likely to find that most companies are not likely to rip off your “patent pending” invention if they believe you have a good chance of eventually getting a patent. These companies will recognize that it is better business to simply buy or license the patent rights from you than steal the idea from you and face the consequences.

That's funny regarding the patent...
I was figuring we wouldn't see any type of press release until at least a patent pending was issued.
I still like how all the pieces are falling nicely into place.
GNGR
I like the idea of .10....
But I don't think we will until that stop sign is gone. After that... giddy up.
Either way, my million are staying right where they are. I was able to drop my average cost to about .006, so I'm loving these new levels. Keep it going, Grant!
GNGR
Saw the ask hit .0099 earlier today
Reaching .01 is going to be a fantastic thing. If all goes swimmingly with: the removal of the stop sign, the release of some positive financials, the sales of the Vortex, and the general growth of the company, I think we're in for a helluva 2014.
And none of those "ifs" above are a stretch of the imagination. All seem to be within grasp and should happen fast. Can't wait to see that decimal place start moving... .01, then .10, then 1.00? Unrealistic? I don't think so if all proceeds accordingly.
Here's to a fantastic 2014!

Doing work for Apple?
That's awesome news - like how Apple found them to do the work in the first place.... Gotta wonder how they were chosen over so many other chocolatiers? Nestle possibly? Who knows - that's just a guess.
Volume is solid thus far today
Nice to see some activity here. Hope it continues. If the press releases come, the Vortex buzz comes to fruition, and eventually, we see some financials, this baby has no where to go but up. Glad I kept believing in this company - exciting stuff in the near future... I can taste it - and it's tasting pretty sweet.
Back in black...
Been a long time since I've seen my entire position in the black.

250K to break through, D?
I did my part - just added 82K. I wanted to break through the 1,000,000 share barrier.
Great seeing the info come out!
And also will be great to see it continue going forward. I first bought GNGR over a year ago, and have continued to up my holdings since then. Granted, it's not a huge position, about 1 million shs, but if this baby takes off, I think it's a great place to be.
Keep it up Grant. I think this news floored many of us and hopefully the results of all the work will be better than expected. Before you know it, GNGR will have Oompa Loompas doing all the work. :)
I tried to buy some cheap today
Couldn't get a fill on anything under .0036. And even then I only got a partial.
Still holding all mine, have even added shares on the way down.
Ready for some good news and a press release or two in 3...2...
