Nope, there was a station about 5 years ago that carried his show but I haven't seen it anywhere since. I went to his website and it looks like you have to subscribe to listen over the net. I find him rather Hokey but the guy knows sports and has major clout in the sports world so JD is getting some great exposure for his book.
OT: Joe
What's your Pen name? Is there a link to an internet broadcast of the show?
OT: Spin??
Why is it spin when he says it will take a long time to recover - if ever? Did you miss the if ever part or is that your SPIN?
If you were so negative that you thought it would take a long time - "if ever" to recover then at the same time said you were buying, then that is talking out of both sides of your mouth where I come from. Maybe flip flopping wasn't the best use of terms but you have to say it is at least a contradictory statement isn't it?
OT: PVC
Of course you would take it that way because the truth sometimes hurts doesn't it? You are buying more? Even while making this statement?
"Someone who I KNOW knows what he's talking about feels that any stock this dependant on toxic financing will take years to recover - pps-wise - is ever.
But of course, NEOM is different acc to this board!!
Gee I hope the 'experts' on this board are correct."
Again, you have proven my point in taking the word of someone else and posting it as a fact but yet you are not even heeding the advice of this person YOU KNOW? You flip flop all over the map in your opinion of this stock and posters alike.
This will be my last post to you as I see looking at your other posts that you are antagonistic and unbalanced and the board does not need more of this garbage.
See ya
PVC
Since you asked I will give you my opinion. I believe it IS just you and "investors" like you who tend to follow posters opinions as fact and invest based on that instead of doing deep DD. Therefore, in your mind the posters opinions are validated by you based on the price of the stock. You swing as much as a politician looking for votes. You are frustrated beacuse you believed in what JP and others who are positive on the stock believe because they have done their DD. But never really did the DD in order to make an informed decision. Therefore you feel the need to blame others for your decision to invest in this risky company.
Let this be a learning experience so you don't make the same mistakes again. Be confident in what you invest in and live with the decision YOU make.
Good Luck.
claw
Am I misunderstanding your use of the term both? Are you referring to WTH and myself?
TIA
WTH
If you really believe that then why are you still here? I'm not trying to get rid of you but something just not add up with that statement and you still owning shares (assuming you do).
Good Luck
WTH
To answer this question "Or are we to believe that they were actually 'doing business' on the floor of the CTIA." I would say I hope so. I think that is the primary reason for being there. Remember, they don't sell or market an end product to customers like Scanbuy. They would sell or license to a company like Scanbuy or Scan for Life.
in4it
In my opinion, MM does not have any connection to pending news and states his opinion as if it is a fact coming directly or indriectly from NEOM management.
Seriously, take his posts with a grain of salt. I would put them in the "I hope this happens" category and no where near a fact.
Personalizit
Did they call you the 10 second man? LOL
Claw
Well said.
I'm just hoping this "person" he had a conversation with is not himself. LOL
Wrong on Ameritrade
Since merging with TD Waterhouse they have tightened down on the ability of investors to lose large sums of money on what they consider to be extremely risky investments. They are trying to clean up their reputation and stop many investors from losing everything in the penny stock market.
You can call me a liar or a basher but this is the reason and no other in my opinion. This would be a signal for ME to get out. As always I never tell anyone to buy or sell a security as that is their own business. I am here to discover the truth. Which is what I believe most of us are here for.
Good Luck!
qode.org?
Good one Blacky
The problem is that Cornell is playing with matches right next to that Paper Tiger known as NEOM.
Cool
Who are they?
800 lb Gorilla?
I will take a baby Gorilla at this point. Or even a Chimp!
OT:ROTFLMAO
That has got to be one of the funniest posts ever. Even though it was done with humor I think it's a good idea to post the AWARD in the board header so those that need the acceptance can come in and polish it every day and feel like they were rewarded for their opinions.
What is it.....it's a maaajor AWARD. And it's from France, it says F-R-A-G-I-L-E.
Brew
That was a good post until the last two sentences. You just can't contain yourself can you?
I will leave it at that and debate you on your claims that NMPR was a failure (losing business). Why would you make such a claim when it appears that everything was lining up to generate revenue. The only reason they are giving up on it is because of the situation they put themselves in by not filing registration for the SEDA, not because it will be a losing business. I guess the price they get for it will tell whether they were headed in the right direction with it or not. Why would anyone even bid on a business that they feel couldn't be profitable?
As far as getting paid by a Chinese entity goes, and I'm sure you already know this but fail to take it into consideration, is a very long process. Just look at our own government and how long it takes to get a contract and begin to receive payment from them. The Chinese government has their hand in every business that deals with a foreign entity. And you might also know that the Chinese government is very corrupt (more so than out own) and there are many pockets that have to get lined when a deal is done. This takes time, something NEOMEDIA is running out of.
Please rebut with a civil argument if you are going to respond to me.
JP
Do you know if this executive posts or do they just lurk?
TIA
OT: My goodness people
This has gotten out of hand. Can we just all agree on a cease fire or are we as juvenile as the leaders in the Middle East and want to hammer our point until it really hurts someone.
Jen, you are a saint for putting up with this.....stuff when you are not paid to do so. It's a thankless job but let me go ahead and thank you for the effort you put forth every day to keep thinks in line.
Do you think we would see this kind of fighting if the price was above .50? I think we are all a little on edge because of the price but remember that emotions are your enemy when you are investing. Remove them and you will make better decisions.
Good Day all.
OT:Hang
I agree, PSU will run, run, and run more to control the ball and keep it out of Brady's hands. ND's defense is pretty bad so I predict PSU prevails in a close game.
I would disagree somewhat with the statement that ND draws more fans to the tube each week than any. OSU has by far the largest graduating class every year of any university in America. Of course we all know that fans are not only made up of graduates so you may be right. After all, I saw Ruuudy....Ruuudy...Ruuudy...Ruuudy. LOL
ccad
It will not be that close. OSU 35, UT 17

Sell on the news??

Good post. Unfortunately it is not just this board but just about every board out there that has this same problem. This board held off of that type of poster for quite a long time. Longer than most I have seen. It was only a matter of time and to tell you the truth I don't get it either. I think we are just seeing people's personalities coming through. The fact that many are anonymous adds to the poor behavior we see. I saw an example of that behavior back in 1987 when I worked part time as a doorman at a club in Chicago called Clubland. It was an extremely fun job..... except for Halloween which was the absolute worst night to work. People dressed in costumes assumed they could do things they wouldn't normally do because their face was hidden. I probably broke up 15 fights or more on Halloween night. Imagine if everyone posting on here was under the influence of alcohol like in a club scene. LOL
Ah yes
Another "investor" who is so insecure in his ability to invest in what he thinks is a good company that he gets concerned when another investor doesn't post in the difficult times to make him "feel" better. JP is not here to make you feel better about your decision. That can only be made by you.
Think about why you are concerned about JP's presence or not and ask yourself why you are concerned about this. It might answer a lot of questions you have about investing.
Good Luck rayu.
jonesie
Are you saying they have never been on the Cornell site or at least haven't been on there in the last 3 years?
JP
I thought the same thing as EOP when I first saw that but the timing on when NEOM would owe the ~38M is sooner than those warrants would mist likely be exercised. Besides, if the price increased so that all warrants were exercisable then we would be much closer to the .38 PPS so less than 38M would be owed.
I also agree that NEOM is talking to the acqusitions to try to get them to either take shares or make the money due as some sort of a paymnet plan based on profits of the company.
Just my opinion of course.
Proposed sale price for NMPR?
Does anyone have an idea what Jose Sada is offering to pay for this business unit?
Doc
Yes, that is in the back of all of our minds but you have to know there is great risk involved in a startup company like this. Maybe this type of investment is not right for you. At least at this stage of your investment career.
Fare thee well.

He knew that. He is just playing the game he always plays.

Good call on Howard. I am a Cardinals fan and would love to see Pujols win back to back MVP's but if the season ended now Howard gets my vote hands down. He seems like a well grounded young man also so it's good to see guys like him and Pujols who are great role models for kids.
How about that team from Georgia winning the LLWS. That was sweet! I heard Jeff Fancoeur (speaking of frenchies) said that they are going to have the team from Columbus into the clubhouse and let them come out on the field for batting practice. Very cool for those boys.
OT: French WWII rifles
I found some French WWII rifles at an Army surplus store. They are in near mint condition. They have never been fired and only dropped once.
Discovery
That is absolutely false. Ameritrade who recently merged with TDW won't even allow certain Pink Sheet stocks to be purchased because they feel it exposes their investors to undue risk. I'm not sure where you heard it but don't repeat it because it is false.
M&M
"Hearing today"?
Who or what is the source of that sound you are hearing?
TIA
Well
I got excited when I saw the PPS jump up a bit and some increasewd volume BUT it appears it is just MM's trying to drum up interest. It's still nice to see though.

You've got mail.

Could I get on your email list? Send me a PM with your email please.
Thanks

You leave my wife out of this. She has given birth to two boys so a little extra.......never mind. LOL
Actually my wife is a very attractive woman and I am lucky to have her as my wife and mother of my two boys. Maybe it's my wealth she is after. Future wealth that is.
I'm just trying to lighten up the mood here.

Car services JV hopes to tap big market
By Li Fangfang (China Daily)
Updated: 2005-11-11 06:28
US Cornell Capital Partners and Beijing Jinche Yingang Auto Maintenance Centre announced yesterday in Beijing the establishment of a joint venture focusing on vehicle after-sales servicing.
The new business will be called Beijing Sino-US Jinche Yingang Auto Tech Services Ltd (Sino-US AutoMart).
"The auto after-sales market in China is messy and has not matured. However, it's a big market with approximately 80 million automobiles in China," said Zhang Xiaoyu, chairman of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China.
Sino-US AutoMart has total assets of US$29.45 million, and US$11.78 million of registered capital. The Chinese side will have 67 per cent of the new joint venture, with the US firm holding the remaining 33 per cent. The company has employed more than 1,000 people in China.
Sino-US AutoMart will focus on automobile after-sales services, including repairs and maintenance, insurance, the sale of parts, interior furnishings, care products, tyres and windscreens.
"We have six flagship stores, but want 60 in Beijing by the first quarter of next year. We want to be the nation's largest network for maintenance and sales," said Pang Guisan, president and chairman of the firm.
"We are planning to set up more than 3,000 chain and franchise stores in major cities across China."
He said this last goal would be implemented within five years, with a total expected turnover of 10 billion yuan (US$1.24 billion) a year.
According to Pang, Sino-US AutoMart is the first auto services joint venture since China entered the World Trade Organization.
Sino-US AutoMart believes its high technology from the United States will give it a competitive edge. For example, the company has introduced micro-paint repair technology that can repair bodywork scratches.
"Compared to regular paint in China, micro-paint is totally non-toxic and non-polluting. The whole process takes only 30 minutes, 10 times faster than usual," claimed Pang.
He promised that Sino-US AutoMart would introduce technology that has never appeared in China every month starting next year.
He also disclosed to China Daily that the firm hopes to be listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange in New York in two years' time.
