Mertto,
Thanks. I'm a CPA and I will take a look at it.
We have got to get Gamefly's customers.
I'm not sure how many they have, but we are such a better deal.
I was looking at game review comparisions.
For example, for xbox goldeneye GZFX has 2 reviews and Gamefly has 633.
There 1 out plan is $15 and 2 games out is $22.
We need to go after them and not netflix. We can take them and should have ads whereever they have ads.
Interesting link regarding Netflix and DCs.

discussion of 40 DCs, but some unhappy customer comments.

I'm thinking we can compete. We just need to convert some of these people
I will probably check it out too.
GZFX does not start with CC in-store in Texas until August. My guess the DC does not open until August/September.
I heard it might be in Plano, but I'm not 100% sure on the location.
I think Texas will be huge for GZFX. Driving distances are so far and driving to Blockbuster is a beat down. I cannot wait for the DC to open here and the flood of subs to start.
Welcome back howaboot, missed your posts
I will take one if you are sending them for free.
Did you see the car?
Yea I heard they were trying it out, but I had not experienced it. I will say that it is awesome. Once the Dallas DC opens I will be getting 1-2 day turnaround. Several friends have stated they will make the jump once I get that quick of service. I will be converting them once the DC opens.
Go Go GZFX
Does GZFX now have USPS scanned check-in?
I live in dallas, sent two back on Monday. Two new movies were sent out on 6/6. I'm guessing they now have scanned check in, because if they don't USPS now is one day to from Texas to Colorado. I have not had this level of service before and I'm loving it.
Now the PPS just needs to rise..
Depends how you want to look at it.
If 100 people know about GZFX and the SB-2 that means we have 100 people watching to see what happens. They may warn now, but they are still watching. My feeling is that if we get a spark of news or there continues to be no dilution this stock will rise big again.
Green, what's that?
I guess forex is boring
I didn't say he won't issue more. I said he did not in May.
If you want to cry about dilution you lost the battle in May. You better start crying about dilution in June.
Xan I thought I would wait to post until info systems updates. I just didn't want JF to get upset and stop providing the info.
No I did not post it
Xan check your email.
I have never emailed him, what is his email address
Time for JF to update the O/S on info systems
We have seen a 50% increase on no news in the past.
I would like to see this increase to around .008-.009 before news.
This is the negativity I was referring to.
It will pop and pop soon. So let it be written, so let it be done.
Nice to hear the rocket talk. It has been too long. I remember in March everyone was talking about about the rocket.
So much technical jargon, it felt like a star trek convention and I loved it.
March seems soooo long ago.
Thanks for the reply. I guess I just needed to look. After I typed that I spent some time and found the historical box.
Wick,
I count volume at approx. 813MM.
Looks like it is about time for them to take it up.
I'm thinking we will see a slight rise tomorrow, with a bigger rise on friday to get us back around .008.
Call me an optimist among the pessimists right now.
Thoughts?
From the dallas morning news
"Blockbuster's many competitive threats – from video-on-demand to movie piracy – remain, Mr. Antioco said. But the home video market is still expected to represent the biggest slice of movie studio revenue through 2008."
So we can look forward to DVD rentals lasting until at least then.
OT good ole howaboot. I do miss his sarcastic posts.

I think many confuse shareholder interest with running the company. JF cannot spend his time trying to make the shareholders happy. We both have seen no matter the PPS some shareholder is not happy. JF needs to concentrate on making the business better. The PPS will reflect it.
Sent, I agree. I guess others think they can make it somewhere else. My thinking about those saying they are out and not coming back are lurking and watching. If they are good at trading this dog has performed well with the 50%-100% pops. Well we have seen this decrease and sentiment before and have seen big increases. When this is down, and it might be a little while, the PPS starts to move and the traders come back and all heck breaks loose.
I get that it is lack of confidence and panic that got us here, but I don't get why.
I guess the price started falling and many got scared and sold, but really what has changed.
I guess it is just the nature of the trader, but that means they have to be looking for a bottom. I would expect a nice bounce when it is found.
Tina, I agree, but what from...that conference call?
I just don't get that feeling from the conference call.
What has changed with this company?
I'm a little confused. So we get a conference call that was not great, but nothing was negative. The 9 billion everyone is stating basically was a max. meaning we might get there at some point but not today.
Board sentiment goes down hill quick, panic selling...for what?
The difference between last week and this week is the PPS and that is all. JF said the O/S was the same as the 5/3 amount stated in info systems.
I guess I'm just confused and would love for someone to logically explain it to me.
Interesting we get good news and still no pop. I'm starting to think nothing will move it other than results on the financials.
Do you mean 180? 360 gets you to the same spot. I'm guessing numbers might not be your strong suit.
I would love to see movie renting demographics. My guess is that the majority have a DVD player (as you can now get one for $30) and no home computer. When I go to my local blockbuster, I'm not seeing a lot of technical wizards. Say what you want about DVDs by mail, I still believe many people will always have a need for blockbuster or there local video store. Also, many still have basic cable and cannot afford to go to some $60 a month cable service so they can then pay for rental movies. Again I'm talking about the general public. The fact is most of the public is making $20-$50K a year and do not spend a lot of their cash updating their electronics.
Wow I guess you all are a lot more advanced in your movie watching then me. Most of you are older too, so much for "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." I have some IT buddies and they all still use DVDs (most are with netflix, I'm trying to change this). I still see a long life for DVD rental services. NFLX has millions of customers, BBI stores and online are doing okay, new HD DVDs are coming out. I just don't see the general public downloading a lot of movies and I don't see DVD players going away anytime soon. VCRs lasted 20 years. I imagine that DVDs will last at least another 5 years. Also, there are still many without a home computer and many without a home computer that has the speed and capability to download movies.
How big is your screen?
I have a 57 inch TV and would much rather watch on that then on my 19 inch computer screen.
Do you watch movies on your computer?
I cannot imagine gathing friends and family and sitting around the computer. I guess if you have you computer hooked up to your TV you might be okay. I'm just not sure how many have this setup. Everyone I know watches DVDs. Downloading movies sounds nice, but it has a long way to go.
