"I can’t imagine what a dreadful day it will be for you when Brilacidin proves a major success. You’ll just have to move on."
You should not say when(implies it's guaranteed), but rather, if. You realize that is why B must go through the clinical trial process, don't you?
As Confucius said-"The man who asks a question is a fool for a minute, the man who does not ask is a fool for life.” Same advice given to first and second graders(more or less) by their teacher.
This trial of 120 should enroll quickly. Moderna enrolled 30,418 in ~ 90 days(~338 per day).
Agree.
Just finished a zoom family x-mas party. One of nieces is a nurse at Mass General in Boston. She was scheduled to receive the vaccine today but was covid confirmed yesterday- another healthcare worker out.
Her sister's husband is also a nurse in Boston and he got his first shot yesterday. Second scheduled 4 weeks after from yesterday.
"Please tell me how running one of the most important human trials for Covid-19 does not take precedence over replying to some unknown person inquiring about something that will come in a press release very soon."
If that where the case, no one would be complaining. It's a fathom in fewer minds than most as time ticks on. Don;t ask don't tell is the ceo's apparent mantra. Does ha even show up in Wakefield anymore? I doubt it. I believe JH resided nearby. LE never resided in MA as far as I can deduce.
"Moderna received 1 Bil from the US to develop the vaccine and another 1.5 Bil for an order while the vaccine was being developed and tested."
Why would that be? Have you read their results? Perhaps someone knows what they are doing?
IDK
I guess we'll see. The lack of efficiency demonstrated by this company over the years is astounding. Another small company in MA, Moderna, started working on covid during the same time as ipix and many others. They have 4 covid trials listed on clinicaltrials.
A 120 patient phase 1 started on 3-16-20, a 600 patient ph2 started on 5-29-20, a 30418 patient ph3 started on 7-27-20. Trial enrollment has been reached for the above listed trials and are shown as active, not recruiting. The fda will meet tomorrow to determine whether or not to grant emergency use authorization.
A forth 3000 patient ph2-3 covid trial for teens 12 to <18 yo was posted on 12/2/20 andis listed as not yet recruiting.
Meanwhile, back at the Wakefield ranch....
Why do you continue to maintain faith in "the company" but are beginning to lose patience?
As far as I'm concerned, this t-ball caliber ceo/cfo can't dot an i or cross a tee, never mind get a hit. He stumbles, fumbles, and trips on his way to the plate...at best.
Good grief.
Thanks for that post, and another math word problem:).
I agree with your logic....and the notion that monitoring is of import.
"Good points LR... Interesting why Aspire couldn't provide 3 million unless there was a reason behind it? Especially since the agreement was for 25 mil..."
It's always suspicion(we suspect this might/will), which more usually(to date) results in wonder and wait..wait...wait.. which has always sunk.
But this time...
Interesting. Thanks for the post.
"where is the september peer review"
He ,apparently, has no peers. Much like adequate directors.
SH's are left to hope on one wing and a prayer to land safely(with Capt. Fantastic at the helm).
Fiddler on the roof.... those were the days...
"Amazing with 1,109,017 shares traded. I would almost consider that a miracle."
Payroll(ha-ha) and bills come due, weekly/ bi-weekly/monthly in business. That's the way it is in sport. They continue to raise money at sh expense.
....Jack frost nipping at your nose??"
Does Jack have a last name, or is Jack Daniels inebriating you via your throat?
All that's left for we suckers is nothing but hope.
"I want to use my own mother as an example.. she is 86 years old whose raised 4 children.. she is full of life, active and in good health despite her age. She has been very careful over the past 9 months to not expose herself and my sister has been the main contact. The rest of her kids (including myself) have spent a lot of time on the phone:) The fact is, if she caught covid the odds of survival (for even someone of her age) would be in her favor. However, a significant percentage of those who are over 85 will succumb to the virus.
The reason I am stating this, is because we love our mom (as I am sure all of you love yours) and Covid targets our most vulnerable - those with underlining conditions and the elderly. This has the potential to become "personal" to many of us.. since each of us has someone in our lives who fit the criteria of "higher risk."
I don't care how you want to crunch the numbers.. this virus is VERY contagious.. and the RISK to my mother is very REAL.
You or a stranger, or a virus threatens (even hypothetically) my mother.. and I take it serious.
Period.
Eom."
Well said. I possess the same thinking. First time since I was born that I (we) haven't spent turkey day together. I'm one of eight- so every holiday gathering is large. My mother passed 7 yrs ago, just shy of 88. My father is 90-3/4 and has more energy than many half his age, and still twice the brain power.
He decided for himself that he would not pick and choose whose family to visit and celebrate with- not wanting to offend anyone, coupled with preferring not to have to quarantine upon return. Rather, he decided to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with a few friends and neighbors, prepared and provided in the retirement complex he's resided in for 18 years. His meal was followed with (another) an enjoyable zoom meeting with my wife and kids, as well as all of my siblings and their spouses and their children.
We each visit him on "the campus" from time to time and go for a walk outside. A big change from past visits, but it works, at least so far.
"Leo is a failure....."
Who's Leo? You mean Annie?- the sun will come out tomorrow- just not here.
Thanks for that,
All I can say is our 18 y.o son lost the senses of taste and smell for~4-5 days, and two of his best friends experienced the two ends described in the article.
"That’s the reason why we are $.17 cents.
Our CEO lying and hiding bad news for YEARS. I’m afraid if Brilacidin fails on CV, he will drag it until August 2021 to cash in as much as possible on his underserved salary.
"
I believe he can exercise his options at ~11 cents and suspect he'll keep issuing 1-2 pr's/month to maintain the sp above that figure.
I suspect he's been selling for a while w/o filing form 4's.... it is an otc stock and he's proven....

Did the ipix cfo write that? Very similar.
...the La Brea Tar Pits."
Interesting, never heard of them. Good analogy.
Post date 10-2-20
"The nonmetro share of all confirmed U.S. COVID-19 cases grew from 3.6 percent on April 1 to 11.1 percent on September 1. ERS regularly produces research on rural America, including demographic changes in rural communities and drivers of rural economic performance. This chart appears in the ERS topic page, The COVID-19 Pandemic and Rural America, updated September 2020."

Interesting, thanks for the post. We had that paper, the Globe, delivered for decades before going all digital except for the WSJ.
Used to deliver the morning Boston Herald(competitor of, what some refer to as "that liberal rag") b4 school back in the day in a Boston suburb.
The "maskless hero states" of the U.S for the most part, excluding the early participants in the covid game who have long promoted mask wearing in the early days of the pandemic(NY,NJ,MA, CT, RI), are reeling for breath, and spreading it, and are the leaders in cases per person..
Keep dreaming. God bless you.
"I think I read somewhere they didn’t have the human data in time. Hardly his fault is it."
Would be nice if he would include such documents as exhibits in the filings if they(he) are(is) not willing to pr it.
He's responsible to keep sh's informed in a timely manner, and has failed multiple times.
"There’s a pandemic killing hundreds of thousands of people and apparently the granting agency refused to accept such absolutely, mind-blowingly crucial data because it became available one week too late?!?! Unbelievable!!!"
Sounds similar to the Beverly lease. As Maxwell Smart was known to quip- "missed it by that much" (with his index finger about an eighth of an inch from his thumb).
"The 90% is based on the assumption that a person with a severe medical condition who dies from COVID19 per the death certificate would have died in the future. Thus, the severe medical condition killed them, not COVID."
I'd say the resultant death was exasperated by covid, and most would likely be alive today if there were no covid.
The fact that the cdc guidelines are not followed by all, all the time, is a disgrace.

Easily at a 3 month low, near the six month low....keep our fingers crossed longs...
".... before Spring arrives".
Oh, God no. Enough!
"Good to have those stink bids in!!!!"
Everyday is a stink bid day- for those ipix'rs in the know. I think I now may realize why they needed all that square footage in Beverly.
"Shaking the tree boys? Cheap shares on tap!"
The cfo needs more firewood and is chopping the last tree on the lot-after burning all his neighbors'(investors) siding first. The cfo's last marshmallow roast as he cooks the books.
"I use to say the military - now I say the military up to flag rank and when they get to that level they are as political as all other cadres of powerful leaders. Power does seem to corrupt."
I somewhat agree with your statement, yet, upon reflection, and verifying those who have served, I admire all who have.
A lapel pin means nothing, IT'S A SYMBOL". How many bearers of the pin have served, vs otherwise?
Correct.
Thanks for providing truthful news. We shattered another of our covid records yet again today.
We've received a lot of "fake news" from those with quite questionable pasts recently.
"....
I remain a B-liever."
Good post. I take the same approach in my assessment. I reckon the only difference lies in the choice of words, I'm not a B-liever- yet- I consider myself a curious soul attempting to justify my belief in this case, as confirmed by the experts.
Looks like the roast tis bout to be placed in the oven and the timer will soon sound. May the recipe be proven better than good.

I believe we've heard nothing from the cfo, and not who the mfo is((why, like many(most)) other grand, unproven, proclamations. Why, must sh's be left to wonder? Because he's up to his eyeballs in bs, much like Pali Capital was years ago?
Good connections? May explain the lack of stating who the strong new connections are, if they exist. Await an announcement from DeGrado, can't wait, but likely will have to.
Doubt you'll catch us. We are #1 in deaths/million populati of the g7, and nearly the world. We're #1, we're #1..... keep chanting, lift your pom-poms a wee bit higher.
Yea, I'm sure those in the health care industry possess that attitude- not, from El Paso to Idaho, and beyond.
"I agree TIAB, such a lack of respect for the people who bought in based on Leo's PRs. A total slap in the face, the one thing that amazes me is the steadfast believers who do not even question? I still have every one of my shares because " what is the point in selling now " I hope more that is normal for ipix success but in my heart I feel tricked and cheated!!! The Circus Barker got us again"
Never doubt we(those in wonder) can have the last laugh if proven we've been mislead. Record keeping, a watchful eye, and reporting are important. It takes time to make, and prove, a case. Thejury is out based upon company words.
Turn all stones.
"Maybe before, but there has been a lot of accumulation going on the past 2 months.... It’s evident from the sideways action we have seen. I know for me, I have added both months and will continue to add to my long term pile of shares as I can."
Ameritrade shows the A/D (Accumulation Distribution) show the A/D on 8/26/20 = -824.08 thousand dollars. 10/26/20 A/D= -21.76 million dollars. The trend indicates selling.
"Actually there was a perfect match.
The virus outer wall and Brilacidin
“The virus killer”.
Once Brilacidin is tested on humans it will
be game, set, match for us longs.
Go IPIX. Save the World."
I hope your right...but the topic of launching and all takes me back to a January day in 1986 when things did't go so perfect as everyone thought. The flight carried trained astronauts, a teacher who grew up in my home town and married, settled, and taught in NH.
Things don't always go as planned.
"Let’s go Leo. Light the fuse.
Go IPIX. Save the World"
Unfortunately, the fuse man had a little accident as he approached the rocket on the way to the launch pad and matches in his pocket became wet. The area was a no smoking area- no one had matches. That's why launch has been delayed, the cfo had to go off base for another book. Another unfortunate situation that became apparent is that stores no longer give away free matches. The cfo had no cash and made a call to his lender for a loan to cover the cost of the match book... another couple days and it's all system good.
"Get your lottery tickets the infamous Dr. proclaimed, while scouting for another imaginary planet to live on. As the Dr. stated daily, there must be something wrong...we have no results....we have not heard from our leader for weeks.....the RBL's have nothing for us. But the Dr's tragedy failed him, the news did arrive and he was forced to buy shares at a much higher price. His daily rants turned out to serve no purpose.
Moral of the story...grow up and start acting like a real Dr!!!!"
The cfo has been attempting to get a real Dr since the days of Dr Menon. My understanding he's been call Dr Howard, Dr Fine,Dr. Howard but, they don't answer.
woo woo woo
