"yet another demonstration of incompetence". Another means more than one, so please enlighten us on the other incompetencies of Fuse management. You were speaking of the management team, right?
Shore, money will make people do and say some strange things. But you knew that already
It's easy to understand why Fuse delayed the drop launch; they're getting an education in new product introduction and distribution with Enerjel....hasn't been an easy road for them...but they'll get it together shortly, I hope. And when they do, it's going to be interesting to see what kind of revenue Enerjel generates. It appears, and I use "appears" cautiously, that Enerjel is selling at a pretty good clip and the customer feedback on the product has been quite positive. Time will tell all.
Just finished reading every single post for the last two days. There's been some excellent posts by vera_lynn12, griff, rick85, shore, scooter, wex, and too many others to list here. Thanx one and all!! Some thoughts.
This is a stock message board, nothing more, nothing less. Not every post is going to be "insightful" (sorry vera), full of useful investing advice, or always and absolutely "on topic". Some like to use it as a sounding board for investment ideas while others, at times, find it a useful venue for soliciting moral support (yes, one could call it whining, but aren't we all guilty of this at one time or another, truthfully??). Not everyone who posts here is a stock "guru" or investment pro, including yours truly. So, we need to cut some slack for those less talented among us. I mean, is it really necessary to "call someone out" for lack of investing experience?? Let's try to keep this board as a "favorite" place to stop during the day, not a place to avoid.
<Lane change>
For those (like me) who bought DROP in the 20's, 30's and 40's, or even higher, hang in there; it's not a true loss unless you sell. Remember, DROP went above 75 twice before Fuse even had a product on the market. If Fuse can remain solvent and pull off a successful "drop" launch, then $2 per share is definitely plausible in 2013. Good or bad, all my eggs are in one basket; I plan to make a profit with those eggs. Selling at a loss is not an option for this amateur pink investor.
Rick85, this goes way back but at one time we (posters) were thinking about all the applications for the drops. Unbelievable the avenues this technology could take. I just think about pediatrics and start mentally counting the Benjamins!!
jdews, I agree 100%. If you own a company and sell a product(s), no matter how you ship it, no matter how you package it (them), no matter who distributes it, etc., it is still YOUR product!! Fuse customer service should never have passed you on to GNC. They should have followed up on your complaint or questions and responded back asap. Poor business in my opinion. Not a good response for a fledgling company trying to get off the ground. Now you, me, and everyone reading this thread will be factoring this incident into our perception of Fuse, the company.
Amen Smitty316! I've posted on more than one occasion that the pro athletes signed up with Fuse need to start earning their pay asap. And this most certainly includes Tiger. If I had a new fiancee standing outside the church doors, ready to walk down the isle, you better believe I would have already told anyone and everyone that would listen how great she is!! So what if the drops aren't ready to hit the market yet; Tiger could be introducing them to the public to generate some interest and anticipation. And hey, it might even lead to the sell of a few DROP shares. DROP needs some positive infusion right now to bolster the confidence level of current stock holders and others sitting on the sidelines contemplating a purchase. If SOMETHING isn't done soon, DROP may be in the single digits by 2013. IMO, patience is wearing thin for many investors. Fuse needs to pull out all the stops and make the drop launch happen. Demand greater than supply can be a good thing, if it comes down to that. <Lane change> Please, please don't respond to this post with the adage that "Fuse needs time to get it right". Enough of that already....they just need to "git er done", period.
Thanx Shore. I've seen the coin machines in a few supermarkets but I've been told they're really slow and limited to like $200. This info. could be all wrong. I'll check it out this weekend. You guys from Jersey are so smart...
Thanx everyone for feedback on the Fuse "piggy bank" money. <Update> Two local banks would not count the change; they wanted me to roll it..ugh....Reweighed the plastic bank on a more precise scale and it weighed 34.65 lbs. And again, the volume is pretty close to 1 gallon. On close visual inspection, it appears to be 75% quarters, 15% dimes, and 10% nickels and pennies. Going to another larger bank next week. Would anyone like to update their guesses on the total value? I can smell the calculator keys smoking...let's see, the volume of a quarter = area x thickness= (pi)(dia. sq'd)/4 x 0.065 in.= ?? To what lengths will we go to invest in a pink of all things! Guys I may be losing it...
Bay, thanks for the apology. No harm, no foul. I'm guessing $300 in the piggy bank. I like your number better! Good luck with your Fuse investments.
Ok guys, I've succumbed to the pressure. My 1 gal. piggy bank is full (5 years worth of savings) and will see the bank's coin changer tomorrow. Absolutely can't pass up the opportunity to buy DROP at 15-16 cents. Rick85, you'll be happy to know that I didn't even consider raiding the grand children's college fund. Not!! Anyone want to venture a guess at the piggy bank's proceeds?? It's filled mostly with quarters and weighs like 35-40 lbs.. come on, take a guess. I'll post the answer shortly.
Shore & York, I've thought all along, and have stated/posted it more than once, that Fuse would most likely be bought out by a major pharmaceutical co. Especially one with major interests in the diabetes arena, which is a HUGE market. Can you see DROP at $15-$20 per share?? Holy cow, would that not be sweet guys!! And, we're not talking pie in the sky here; it could very well happen. Think about it. Would an Eli Lilly want to battle it out with Fuse for a major stake in the insulin market or just buy Fuse out (or alternatively, sign an all inclusive 30-40 yr. contract for the technology licensing)??? I get all pumped just thinking about it!! Fuse better not blow the potential opportunities that are out there for the taking....and cause me to lose money...no no no no no. Time to hit IR with another "git er done" type e-mail..
Look Bay, I don't mind a few jabs now and then but your comments are starting to get a wee bit personal. How about staying on topic. Thanx.
Rick and Shore, I understand the approach (and the math) you've spelled out but to get the "trader's" cap, when already long and fully in, requires more cheddar from somewhere doesn't it? Not an option for many IMO.
<Lane change> Admittedly, some of us bought the Double Eagle/Fuse story before the last two significant "run ups", when there were no products on the market, and stayed with the long position because expectations were very high on Fuse's core products, the drops. Well, here we are in the middle of July, the share price has essentially "tanked", Fuse's PR printer is as quiet as a church mouse, no one on this board knows the FIRM date for any upcoming product launch, and speculations run the full gamut about the current selling frenzy. If this sounds somewhat pessimistic, then please let me be pessimistic because: (1) It's late, and (2) I've invested way too much in this pink. Good night and good luck to everyone on your investments.
Griff, I say ditto to everything you've posted today. Don't know what's happening to the share price and volume but, like bgrass, I'm now worried. With Fuse not making their target launch date for the drops and now the pps plummeting, my "long" position is really coming into question. This latest drop in the pps came as a real surprise; it looked like nothing less than "panic" selling. Some are saying it's investors exercising warrants well, where's the proof?? That old saying, "You don't throw good money after a dying horse", or something like that, keeps playing over and over in my tiny brain. Perhaps it's time to cut the loses and move on. Griff, you did well going after Fuse as a "trader" vs an "investor"- wish I had done the same in hind sight.
Scooter, you're right in saying: "Fuse will have to present it's game-changing drops with much fanfare and a lot of education". It seems there are a ton of energy drinks and energy "stuff" on the market right now; so, how would Fuse present its case? Honestly, at this particular time, I have no idea. A tight budget will only allow so much advertising because advertising is Ex..spen..sive! Can't really see social networking getting the job done- would definitely take some time to build a client base this way.
You're right HS. 1 "PowerDrop" = 1 5hr Energy. Holy cow, that could send somebody's ticker into orbit on say 2 drops!! Err on the side of caution with this Fuse product until its true effects are known. And, I guess we'll know soon (i.e. this week, next week, next month, you get the picture)
Guys, I believe an advertisement showing Beevis (sp) & Butthead trying to rub EJ on each other would draw some attention..
Vera lynn, good post. I totally agree also that it's going to come down to revenue and earnings. Isn't that the standard modus operandi for most successful companies? A lot of people who post here seem to believe that breath taking pr's and super hype is going to drive the share price of DROP into orbit.
Shore, you know that women say "men think with their xxxxs" but I wouldn't suggest trying EJ there...yes, for a headache..
Well, the jury is still out right now but we'll learn in the near term whether the soon to be launched drops are the "real deal". Many of us have a lot riding on the outcome.......
Griff, that was great!! I remember Ronco also. lol
Listen, take, in all honesty we really don't know that he's using the drops. And, if he is, we sure don't know that they're having a "positive" influence on his game. I mean really??
Well, tigerfuse, you're putting me on the spot. Ok, I would have gone strong after someone like Tim Tebow. Integrity, name recognition, athleticism, he's the total package. And, I was never a Florida fan....Many others could fill the role that Tiger is playing.
Take, a better question might be; "Has anyone seen him taking the drops"??
Thank you HSmith! Quote: "I certainly would not want to vouch for Tiger's "loyalty" on anything". Not to offend anyone but, if I pulled the strings for Fuse, Tiger would not be my poster boy. Any integrity he had went out the window long ago. And less we forget, Tiger is a great golfer and has made a significant come back as of late, all without the aid of Fuse drops. So, what will be the extent of his personal endorsement and, secondly, who will believe the message or the messenger??
Right on Scooter. That's been my MAIN CONCERN with Fuse all along.
Funny how money drives emotions and facts fall on deaf ears....hmmm....just a late night thought when so many posters seem "down".
Thanx Info.!! Words well spoken. I've admitted before and will again that my stake in DROP is a lot more than 100K shares. And, yes, I didn't sell at $1+ because I believe the Fuse technology is solid and will fetch a handsome price at the right time. Sure, it's always a risk to invest a significant sum in an OTC pink but show me a stock that isn't a risk! Heck, I lost money in "08 in some of the safest "bell cow" stocks out there. It seems every week that someone posts a new potential application for the Fuse drops; so, do we assume that all this is going unnoticed or under the radar of numerous savvy investors in the supplement/medicinal fields?? Don't think so.... As Info. has articulated more than once, in some form or fashion, we all have a choice where to lose or make our money. One or more absolutely absurd negative views, as that posted today, doesn't deter me one bit!
What!! Drops to launch the 3rd week in July?? Just logged on to see this comment. Did I miss something earlier? I heard that there may be a week delay but the 3rd! Geeezzz, is this company ever going to get things right.......my patience is waning and I believe a lot of other people have the same feeling.
Actually, Baystbully, some compounds are made in the lab (e.g. synthetically) because they may exist as a natural compound but are extremely hard to isolate, extract, or recover. Many companies do this mainly from a cost perspective. Hope this helps. And, yes, I'm fortunate to be a chemical engineer.
Scooter, I'm not thinking so much of myself as losing credibility in Fuse but of all the Joe Q. Publics out there who read the same PR's we do, and then see that Fuse doesn't deliver (e.g. Enerjel launch, Amazon fiasco). It's been stated over and over again on this board that Fuse has to get the drop launch RIGHT. All I'm saying is that Fuse has to deliver this time around or investors and consumers may very well go elsewhere. And again, I'm long with DROP so you know that I'm rooting and pulling for Fuse to come through.
Guys, my concern all along has been where does Fuse get the Benjamins for a full blown, market saturated announcement and follow-up advertising campaign for the drops?? It's going to take a lot more than social media advertising, as mentioned on this board, to put the Fuse drops on the map. The competition field is really strong right now for products "like" Enerjel. Fuse must do SOMETHING to distinguish itself from this competition field or Enerjel may become just another "also ran". To maintain its credibility, imo, Fuse must launch the drops this month as stated in their PR, not July, this month....
LG6. I have a friend staying with us this week who is the schedule coordinator for the Bike Ride For Heroes, a Simpa Fi function. The riders are in route from Florida to California. They are getting enormous receptions where ever they go. A SALUTE TO THOSE SERVING IN THE US MILITARY WHO KEEP US SAFE SO THAT WE CAN FREELY ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS STOCK MARKET INVESTING.
LG6, keep seeing the Semper Fi. Marine???
Well hey guys, how about sending Tiger to represent Fuse at the convention. He's done NOTHING to earn his pay so far. He better do more than a few tweet tweets after the drops hit the market!!
Wow, shore I'm impressed.. Good job on the explanation.
LG6, thanks for the kind words and introduction passed along today to the new posters. Well LG, things are starting to heat up. The Fuse pr today was SIG-NI-FI-CANT! There's probably plenty more to follow. You have to believe that a lot of people in the medical science field are starting to, or already have, taken notice of Fuse's break-through technology. When you think about the technology, the application's list seems to get longer and longer as we hear more details. I may be totally wrong, but I anticipate a major player (e.g. big pharma) is going to step in and take Fuse to another level. This $1.25-$2.00 pink may reach $20-$30 in the not too distant future. I'm long and holding, and excited with anticipation!
Right on, Captain. Us longs are smiling. Hang on boys, the ship is coming in; today is just the start of an upward trek to $2 this year! Could be a perfect storm. New products, exciting products are about to launch and savvy investors with DEEP pockets have now discovered Fuse Science. One look at past performance, with NO product to peddle, versus now, well you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that DROP at 35 cents is a down right STEAL!
Malekabal42, I've been following Fuse, or at first Double Eagle, for quite some time. This is, and still is, my only investment in a pink or OTC. So, when you mentioned a "dilution con" (& celeb con) or something to that affect, it caught my attention. From your experience, what are just a few things to watch for that raises a red flag or alerts that this or that is a scam?? Does anything so far with Fuse give you any indication of a sophisticated scam, so good that even Tiger & his financial advisers are being taken in also?? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
