You pose a couple of very good questions. Herein is the rub ... only NTEK can answer them. I'm certain there were NP-1's produced. But, the actual number produced and how many remain is still a great mystery. Given the incredible amount of discussion, many want the answer (and, I believe should receive one). Unfortunately, at this point in time, that answer is only known by those in the upper echelon of the NTEK management team.
Given the events of 2014 (at least as I outlined them), I'm hopeful they were able to pull any mass production quantity of non-presale orders. In hindsight, it would be a great money saver. If not, there's a whole bunch of inventory that may never leave the shelves their stored on.
Don't live in the past. NP-1 didn't catch the pre-smart TV 4k market wave. Obviously, the manufacturer's moved quickly in 2014 to get their 4k smart tv's out. The consumer is buying them up. NTEK moved quickly enough to get their app (software) to the market (on Samsung's) at this point and soon to be joined with firmware updates to Sony's and Vizio's. Traded the hardware (NP-1) for the app that is streaming as I write this. Cost is far less. Traded the opportunity to sell thousands for the instant revenue of far greater. It's a better business and a timely decision.
Add the Vegas 2047 gaming division and the in-roads being made there. Aaron Hightower has stated his week is the busiest yet since opening. Fantastic timing to be heading that direction as the casinos are looking to update/upgrade their gaming choices.
You get a company that is finally getting up to and ahead of the curve. It IS a better business than it was six months ago. It is not a better share price.
Keep it real. It's not going to the moon any time soon but it certainly ain't broken either.
I do not. Been swing trading around a large core.
Only money made here at this time is swing trading. Some hate that.
Very nice swing trade buying opportunity developed there. Played the bounce nicely. Glad I was there to make it happen.
This company is in far better shape today than it was six months ago. It is, however, not reflected in the share price - if, that is what was meant by the post.
Not gonna happen.
This is like a third grade classroom where the teacher says something and it get passed down to the point that the original thought is no where to be found.
Shouldn't be surprised. But, in no way does that picture determine anything nor is it in any way relevant to whether the NP-1 is a copy of something else. Nice picture, though. Didn't know David had submitted anything to the patent office.
Why am I not surprised at the direction this went?
I'm sure you have a picture to prove that.
Which has absolutely nothing to do with the tech security protocols. Zero. Zip. Nada.
Know proof that dude's unbiased. Read like a Sony bias to me.
Beg to differ. Santa and news ought to both arrive within that time frame.
Of course. Just like the Samsung deal. Oh, wait. It materialized. On time. Revenue producing at this very moment.
Just keeping it real, Dude.
Doesn't change the fact it was blockbuster news though.
Yep. Any content is good content in this market as light as it is now. Key is going to be continually adding and upgrading.
Samsung was certainly blockbuster news!
NITE putting up fake ask walls. Laughable.
Not sure myself. Just saw the "quote" and responded to it.
Wasn't me who was "quoting". I'd never make such a claim unless it was stated exactly as written by the individual quoted.
But, that's just me.
Guess NOBODY wanted to see it ... LOLOLOLOLOLOL!
The auditor stated this? To you? Would love to see verification, if so ...
Ultraflix seems to be leading the charge here.
Happy to hear he also assured you. More assurances the better, as far as I'm concerned.
Ultraflix is in the game, no doubt about it!
No big deal at all ... just access to the largest 4k tv market in the world (not U.S. mind you but the entire planet) and revenue growth potential to turn this company around. Nope. No big deal at all.
We? Guess you invested in shares, T-Rex?
Some interesting (as in very small) red paint jobs showing up on the L2 tape today.
Hmmmm ... no problems here just now.

There are people here who bought from the trips all the way to the .17's on a hope and a prayer.
Since those days NTEK has built the OTT (NP-1) as they said they would; created an app all ready working on Samsung's and soon to be on Sony/Vizio; added a gaming division with multiple patents that the industry is very excited about; and, continues to add content to the largest 4k library on the planet.
I'll be sticking around to see the introduction of audited financials and a PPS that's going to be moving upward.
Not a matter of if, just a matter of when.
Cheers!
So true ... UltraFlix becoming the standard to be measured by.
Will be a huge plus when we see the Sony's and Vizio's up and running the app.

Got it.
Good Stuff!
Enjoying a wonderful weekend of college and professional sports. Can't wait to see all these games in 4k. Given the rapid rise in its (4k) popularity, I'm sure it's going to be quite soon. World Cup this year was in 4k (Sony), if I'm not mistaken.
The clock ticks for everyone in the industry to get to the sporting industry first ... Here's to the hope NTEK is involved in that platform.
Nice week of trading here. Expecting the same next week.
Cheers!

Got to love it!!!!!!
What's your take here on REDG, Nitty?
