Have we ever seen a press release where he is the individual quoted?
Are you kidding? You need to grow thicker skin...
It's only as reliable as the source. The source is only as reliable as its track record. So far, even you'd have to admit, the track record ain't so good...
It was a tidbit. I did not characterize it as evidence of significant business and I did not question others if they were skeptical based on that sliver of information. People have every right to form an opinion. The best opinion is an informed opinion, however, the lack of quality information makes that pretty tough right now.
Harr,
C'mon, you have to admit that little tidbit is hardly compelling. Whatever he is referring to needs to be announced en masse with specificity in order to be meaningful.
I'm optimistic that there is some revenue in the works. But if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around...
You are my new hero! Well done! :)
That's classic! What was your message?
I'll be singing their praises if they can get this thing out of the mud, but right now it's certainly an easy target for skepticism!!
I'm sure there will be excuses made, but the "eyeball" test on something like that does not look good. Evidently they are filling their current contract with a third-party and waiting for financials in order to gain access to additional funding, so they can re-open shop. So where are the financials? We have a "draft final audit", which is an oxymoron of course. I'm still scratching my head on why they'd release something like that. It's getting to the point of ridiculous...
Well Mr. Elcheepo, I don't mind your comments. You do bring some balance to the board, even if your posts lack substance. Most of the cheerleading lacks substance as well... Another week monitoring for news and watching the volume dry up... A substantive PR will change everything. But when?
Unfortunately this has been the sentiment since July. We're way overdue on some type of an update. This site has become about two things: Speculation and exchanges with Elcheepo... Both are yawners. I'd much prefer to be discussing something concrete with MLXO.
Mr. Sabir Saleem is not impressing me fellas...
Thank you, sir! :)
Karbo, what kind of timeline on getting some news?
It's beginning to look that way...
So, I think it's fair to say the share price has stabilized... If Karbo is correct, we should be looking at a jump here very soon.
Karbo, are we looking at something this week????
I wouldn't transfer them. It's too risky. You could end up on the sidelines when this thing goes off. Karbo is predicting a 100,000% increase tomorrow when MLXO announces a hostile takeover of Google AND Apple on the same day. Elcheepo is the sleeper pick to run the new conglomerate. Las Vegas will never be the same...
Three scenarios...
A. MLXO is a pure pump-and-dump with a slippery management team and we're being gullible waiting for the financials, PR, etc....
B. MLXO is legit, but the management team has bitten off more than they can chew. It's going to be a long road...
C. MLXO is on its way to big things and management is patiently waiting for things to fall in place. It's just a matter of time...
I am still tremendously optimistic that this company is going to see some massive gains. If the ITA contract is legit, revenue is going to jump from $25K to as much as $5.5M. The impact on the share price should be dramatic.
There's an old fisherman's saying which I keep in the back of my mind... "The longer the wait, the bigger the fish."
Have a great week everyone!
I agree. Winning companies under-promise and over-deliver, not the other way around. Watching this thing toil is tedious, especially considering the amount of revenue they have projected (promised) in the short-term.
You're welcome... I wish it were a little more detailed.
Good question. This is where a little additional transparency would go a long way...
I received my response from Venkat Kakani this morning. He answered two of my four questions. The other two he delegated to Mr. Sabir Saleem.
Here are my queries and how he responded...
- Status of SEC filings?: delegated to Sabir
- Status of acquisitions?: delegated to Sabir
- Status of ITA order for Russia?: being produced by contract manufacturer and should be delivered by mid-September
- Status of other contracts/revenue streams?: Other contracts are in the works, but awaiting financials before finalizing
As we've known, the financials are the head-pin...
Interesting...
Sabir Saleem's email ends with a suffix of @totalcare.us.com
What is totalcare? Does that mean anything to anyone?
Fingers crossed!! One of the things I asked for in addition to an update, was an investor's conference call. A town hall type of format would demonstrate (in my mind) a greater degree of transparency. I'd like to be able to ask a couple of questions directly and in real time...
Good morning... I thought we'd have it by the 4th of July, but nothing... Then I thought for sure we'd have it by the first week in August, and again, nothing... Then I thought maybe the 19th was the magical day... Of course, that day came and went with nothing... I'm out of guesses :)
I'm going to be sending an email this morning looking for some answers...
Well, it would be a momentum builder: Game, Set and Match :)
So let's say we do get some news this week... What exactly can we expect? SEC filing? Acquisition update? Update on contracts and status of orders?
All three?
That would be sweet. When the run occurs, we'll be seeing volume over 10M. I wouldn't be surprised to see a day with 25M shares traded if the news is compelling enough... Hopefully people will hold and let the bid grow...
How thin? Can you elaborate, please? :)
I actually do think news is coming next week. It sounded like they were trying to get us an update this week and it didn't happen. For the first time in a long time, I'm a little giddy... Looking forward to Monday :)
LOL!! Touche...
Boy, we really could use some news today... Knock, knock... Anybody home???
We can both definitely agree on that one!! That agreement is critical not only to the short-term revenue for this company, but for credibility. There have been multiple press releases framing that contract as a done deal, but as of yet: Notta. I'm anxiously waiting for production to begin and product to ship...
twobob,
You are spot on. It is all hearsay. Unfortunately, MLXO press releases describing contract wins get treated like bank deposit slips by some members of this board. There's a reason you don't count the chickens before they hatch. The ONLY information of late which has not been hearsay has been Brian Hayden's story in the Massena paper which was included some of the following facts...
- Empty parking lots (verified by members of this board in person)
- Disconnected phone lines (verified by members of this board in person)
- Direct quote from a door vendor looking for $$ (not hearsay)
- Direct quote from Kakani himself admitting late payments (not hearsay)
Members of this board jumped all over that story and the author as if it was a conspiracy. However, none of the facts are in dispute.
I am long and strong like many others on this board, but I share your skepticism. This company needs to provide something concrete very soon.
I'm aware of the cover story. So where's the evidence of ANYTHING going on at any of the other plants? The $24K in 2010 revenue? The inability to pay their bills? They may start making Koolaid, as Elcheepo stated, but right now, I'm not so sure I'd be keen on drinking it... I want to see something concrete.
Even the "draft" of the 2010 audit makes me scratch my head... There is an awful lot of backtracking going on.
Now THAT is EVIDENCE...
Thank you very much for the most credible way to determine what is happening with this company.
I know this won't land well, but in my view: No workers = No work = No revenue
Can someone help me understand the structure of the share allotments? Yahoo, ETRADE and others list the outstanding shares and market cap data reflecting around 106M shares and $600K in value.
However, I've seen discussion on here and in the recent audit document stating it's more like 1B shares.
Help me understand the breakdown, if possible. Generally individuals holding 10% of outstanding shares or more are included in filings, correct?
Thanks!
How do you figure? We know that contract was delayed until August and the plant has nobody working in it?
Nothing shipped = No revenue
Maybe I am missing something. Approximately $600 in stock has traded hands and now we're in the midst of a run???
That's why I never trust a press release. The language is just vague enough to "pump", still allow for wiggle room when things fall through. Remember, we found out after the fact that the agreement with ITA had contingencies, such as completion of financials. The only thing I would completely trust until this company establishes a track record is an SEC filing... I know I'm probably too pragmatic for many of you, but blind faith when it comes to financial matters is never wise.
