Question. Sorry I didn't take good notes. Was today the last day for filing the en banc?
Could take years without the courts weighing in......

The payment is always made on the last day of the month. Don't know the history of announcing it beforehand
There are rational reasons to keep some things secret. Not everything has corruption as its explanation
Link? Source?
It is baffling to me how so many here accept the "fact" that GSE money is tied specifically to AHCA and didn't go anywhere else. Because Infowars said so? Yikes.
I didn't see anything convincing at all. It sounds goofy...like you're grasping at straws, to just keep repeating that because someone suggested it.
All the goofy imaginations and dot connecting expressed on this board lately is indicative of the stress that many of you are going through. I feel the same way and wish it was easier, but this is still pretty much an all-or-nothing roll of the dice... especially next week. Stay very nimble. Don't get married to any stock. Be honest with yourself. Think analytically and definitely keep hope out of the equation. GTLA.
Navy, pardon my ignorance but what is MDL?
That was just a wall street poll http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000601243
I think the Twitter action is just the surprising reality that there are still a whole lot of people that don't know everything that WE know. And I am still waiting for some of those "facts" to be verified.
Too bad he didn't pull anything out of it. Now THAT would have been some real investigative reporting!
Did Corsi say anything bullish? I didn't catch it. Or at least did he touch his ear phone or look at the camera weird? I need to be filthy, stinking, rich by Friday, if that's okay. Sucks to be just filthy, stinking.
I am long. But when all we got is news from a source like Infowars and Maria looking at the camera funny we are at significant risk for a continued sell off without the REAL news we're waiting for. This board is getting really goofy. Time to dial it back and return to our roots.
I want to have hope like everybody else here but like the article says this is very normal procedure and expected....as in... all the big money guys and those in the know already expected this and it's baked in. I am weary/wary of having false hopes for the market makers to manipulate.Thoughts?
Adjust your meds, cfljmljfl. You'll feel better.
Rekus, Obit, how will this affect us? thx

"Payment has been paid consistently on last day of quarter."
... Which unfortunately is on a Friday. We may not find out until after hours.
I think the big selling is just longs capitulating.
You may not want to wait but I would think the Ameritrade purchase of Scottrade would mean you would have level 2 OTC quotes sometime fairly soon? on the thinkorswim platform. I have been using it for years and still like it very much. In addition Ameritrade just announced new voluntary lower commissions in conjunction with this purchase of Scottrade.

I think we may have found sellers exhaustion point here. In addition, the short/bear trolls are really obvious amateurs, which gives a bullish impetus to the trading atmosphere. That said, I too would like a much lower accumulation point, so it's all good.
What does this mean for us?

Justice Department turns against CFPB in constitutional court case
The Justice Department plans to defend President Trump’s executive authority by siding with PHH Corp. in the mortgage lender’s controversial case alleging the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is unconstitutional.

Reckusdoo, others, What do you think?
I'm interested in intelligent takes on this.... Nick Cage tweets on stock twits.... "Buckle up boys and girls, a district judge in texas is receiving a consolidated brief for summary judgement in colins v FHA on the 20th. Based on the PHH v CFPB, the judge *should* rule in favor of the plaintiff and rule the NWS unconstitutional."
Demarco and Parrott.......
If I had to make a decision between two options and I was a public figure and working on something as important as the gse's, I would make sure that I had met with the opposition to the option I wanted to implement, in order to demonstrate due diligence. That's only rational to prepare for any eventual criticism.
This meeting does not in any way portend bad news for shareholders, in and of itself.
Don't blame the Administration if you don't voice your concern. Let's let them know how big our numbers are. Just takes a couple of minutes.
They are actually asking for our input, folks. That's the best time to respond.

I don't know if it's coincidence but I could not get that Dropbox audio to work from a previous link that some poster posted before that lawMatt guy. Audio keeps crashing. Right about that same time my Skype stopped launching and it was suggested on a help group i accessed that there might be malware on my system. Could be coincidence... just don't know. I still have not got it working. could just be my computer.
Anyone else have problems?
Sorry to be a bother but can anyone tell me what happened with Maria's interview this morning? I hear no discussion on it whatsoever.
Come onnnnn en banc!
So apparently Maria didn't do the interview?
It sounds terrible and he might be right but I've skimmed and read Zero Hedge faithfully every day for years and they are nearly all negative articles that suspiciously seem like clickbait to get views. In addition, the authors, just like in the accompanying video, have a book to sell or gold to sell, and the negativity helps sell it. This type of article almost always finishes by talking about buying gold and fairly often if you go to their web site, you will see them being affiliated with gold retailers, so they could just be drumming up business. Or not. Just stay nimble and don't be afraid to accept and act quickly on negativity or positivity. Good things do happen.
"We PLAN to make a $5.5B dividend payment"
Here's everything he said.....
"QUICK: FANNIE AND FREDDIE. IT'S BEEN A HUGE ISSUE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SWIRLING AROUND. IT'S HARD TO SAY EXACTLY WHERE THE ADMINISTRATION STANDS ON IT, BUT YOU HAVE BEEN COMMITTED TO HOUSING FINANCE REFORM. CAN YOU TELL US HOW YOU COME DOWN ON THAT AND WHAT SORT OF TIME FRAME WE SHOULD EXPECT.
MNUCHIN: SURE. SO I MEAN, I'D SAY SOMETHING I'VE ALREADY STARTED WORKING ON. I MET WITH MEL WATT THIS WEEK WE HAD A VERY GOOD CONVERSATION. I MET WITH JEB HENSARLING WE'VE TALKED ABOUT VARIOUS DIFFERENT ISSUES. AS I I'VE SAID BEFORE, I'M COMMITTED THAT UNDER THIS ADMINISTRATION WE'RE GOING TO HAVE HOUSING REFORM SO THAT WE DON'T JUST LEAVE THESE ENTITIES THE WAY THEY ARE. THEY'VE BEEN SITTING THERE FOR TOO LONG OF A PERIOD OF TIME. WE NEED A SOLUTION. WE'RE GOING TO LOOK AT THIS. I THINK THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE AREAS WHERE HOPEFULLY WE'LL HAVE A BIPARTISAN SOLUTION. I THINK THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT SHARE THE VIEW THAT WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING WITH THEM. THERE ARE DIFFERENT VIEWS. AS I SAID, YOU KNOW, I'VE ALREADY REACHED OUT TO PEOPLE. WE HAVE A TEAM INTERNALLY THAT WE'VE ALREADY ASSIGNED. SO THIS IS SOMETHING WE'RE GOING TO STUDY CAREFULLY. I DON'T THINK YOU'RE GOING TO SEE SOMETHING RIGHT AWAY FROM US, WHEREAS TAX REFORM IS A NEAR-TERM ISSUE, BUT THIS IS DEFINITELY ON THE AGENDA. WE HAVE A LOT OF THINGS TO DO HERE. THERE'S HOUSING REFORM, THERE'S CYBERSECURITY. I SPENT A LOT OF TIME ON TECHNOLOGY. IT'S A BIG PRIORITY FOR ME TO MAKE SURE WHETHER IT'S THE IRS THAT WE PROTECT PEOPLE'S RECORDS. WE GOT TO UPDATE THE SYSTEMS AT THE IRS. WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BANKING INFRASTRUCTURE IS SAFE. SO THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS ON MY TO-DO LIST."

Navy, Rekcusdoo, Ober, what's a realistic time expectation for us to hear an answer on this, in your opinion ?
Why Saturday?
We just don't care. I promise.
The level of negativity in this article raises suspicions in my mind.
