Gold is having a bit of a spike all the sudden.
I must say, better layers of support than I've seen in a long time.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here.
Thanks once again Johnny for your above and beyond conribution to this board.
Since you would only "consider" a short position, your statement that PCFG is heading to subpenney land for certain is short on money but long on mouth.
Well??? I recall you saying that subpenney land was a certainty for PCFG. Are you certain enough to open a large short position?
I'm in.
I'm right here with you Star Gazer. I've been here for 5+ years and the fundamentals are better than they were when I first bought shares in 2006. I've never sold one share and I sure don't feel a reason to do it now.
And ofcourse the answer to the big question, can they pull enough gold out of the ground in a reasonabe time to make this a profitable company?,is what has kept people like me here since 2006. I see things are much more hapennig for this company than it was in 2006 with the exception of diluted shares, but my money is still on the tabe. good luck to you.
I've had shares in a gold mutual fund since 1993. I bought the shares when gold spiked over $400 a share for $5.71. As of yesterday the fund closed at $10.01 a share. It has been as high as $11.65 in the last couple of years. Talk about a disconnect from the price of gold and mining shares!
Good to hear from you Trapper Jim. Your always a source of bankable info.
I like to look at a 3 year chart to get some perspective. We stopped being a sub penney stock from the dark years on October 11th of last year and never looked back. We have so much more going on than the dark years and I'm thinking we are way over sold. Here's to a profitable 2012.
You all have to remember that when Robo rants about the negative in PCFG and you you respond in a negative fasion, a little switch in his head says,"game on."
There's that Million share bid again.
As a result many days in September and October were spent on repairs and construction of the geotextile tube field, and this required most of the mine and plant labor to participate. The Company is expecting NDEP approval to allow commencement of the use of the new tubes in the third week of November
They have the original two approved geo tubes to work from.
I'm here Scotia. Been in since 06, I've seen it all. I think Nevada is a special place on the planet and I see Rob and Mitch pulling this off after 8 years. A set back, sure, but it's certainly not the most critical thing we have overcome. The gold is there and we shall have it. Nuff said.
Looking for the bottom on a stock that is about to release production numbers.Good plan.
Speaking of which, where's Car Hauler?
Tantrum nor pounding can hasten the news,
Tis far from assured if we win or lose.
But an ear to the ground, and a nose to the air,
gives clues to my senses of future diner----o.
O.K. it's late. GLTA.
No reason.
Thank you Pro Bart. What a sweet guy, so concerned about us. Love you man!!!
All of us longs like to be conservative here but it just doesn't seem out of the realm of reality that this stock could be $1.00+ a few years down the road with production having come on line, the mining friendly, desperate for employment state of Nevada, and the continuing upward trend of the price of Gold. The perfect
storm has been brewing for a while here. We all hope that the 3rd
quarter 10-q and the 4th quarter guidence will give us the shot in the arm we need to move up. Good luck to all.
We're still up 25% from the low of October. That may be something to not be negative about.
I'm suggesting that we own a producing gold mine and income will just keep increasing over time. And if that is truly the case, one of these big gold producers in our back yard just might want what we have.
Well, it comes down to having an income, period! We're in penney land and 99.9% of penney landers depend on selling shares of thier comapany for income. We've got a producing gold which is a hell of a lot more than you can say for almost all penney stock gold mining shares. Even if the recovery rate does come in at .2, we're not out of the game yet. We've been working with nothing for quite a few years now. This is our time. Howz that for terrible due diligence?
Well let's say it does have a negative impact, what are you personally gonna do? Or is that too personal?
Did you read the little part a few sentences down that said,
" Company has decided to not currently mine any more of the mudflow material but to focus on its' previously identified pay gravels for the remainder of 2011."
If there be any virtue to your intentions, it certainly doth not manifist itself.
You speaketh like a man who has not a current position in this concern, but is hoping to gain purchase at a lower price.
Our product has just become $1800 an ounce in the spot market.
Our product just seems to have a north bound proclivity today. $1793. up $39.
Just take a second or two to look at a 3 year chart on PCFG and you can see this is no flash in a pan company.
Even you Robo have to admit that management has got us from sub-penney last year to this point. The last time we were waiting for a major news release in August, volume was up and price was increasing. Then major dumpage after the news hit. This time volume is down and price is decreasing before big news. Perhaps the revearse of last time? It seems the penney land market likes to shunn the expeted.
Bought first chunk in May 06, 3000 shares at .58.
Best chunk, 100,000 at .0032 in October 2010. I've never sold one share yet. If Robo's prediction comes true, I'll be dumpster diving right along with him. I've got a good feeling it won't though. Once in a while hope wins out over experience.
Thanks FWF. Your public DD is extremely appriciated. Thank you.
After being on this board for over a year you just now find your 2% of the time positive assesment of the company is wrong?
Me thinkum speak with forked toungue.
Your post from yesterday:
"That's bottom support, you won't get it this time around. You'll be lucky if it goes below .045
Last call! ALL ABOOOOOOAAARRRRRD!"
Me thinkum pale face is two face.
At the end of your retort to Robo was "Live lone and prospect."
I must say that is the witiest thing I've read here for a while.
Our product is continuing to climb in price, $1759
Now volume and price are up but we're not near the 20+ mil.a day so perhaps you need to re study that chart of yours.
