I didn't say it, didn't hit me until I just listened to the edidte version of the cc. And it makes perfect sense.
A pr timeline clue from Kim's mouth on the cc:
"If all goes well with the micro injections which we're planning to do next week, then by fall we may be in a position to announce some additional breakthroughs."
Of course, there could still be tons of pr regarding commercialization of gen 1 and joint ventures but lets not set our hopes to high when it comes to the zinc finger progress. That just means that we have more time to accumulate shares!
Thank you.
Agreed. And any equipment, staff, space and experience gained or used in commercialization of gen 1 would be transferable to the gen 2 and 3.
Hopefully everyone on the ask will stay strong. It seems like when they do eventually the buyers will chase. How nice it would be to go into the weekend green (and not just green for today but back to where we started the week!)
Right now I'm trying to get some more, if I slap the ask (even with that big one for .1585 after it, I bet it will drop to .143. I am starting to buy in to the mm signal theories.
Sorry I'm not ZF but the answer is yes, Kim I believe Kim addressed that in the CC. That is what he set the timeline for medical several years in the future.
That is crazy! But, makes perfect sense, it happened right after I got 10k at .147! If you want cheap shares just wire me some money to put in a buy, it's sure to drop immediately.
I don't know enough defend that company but there are a few things to consider. It has been many months since that article was published and the company still exists and it's officers are not in prison. If you or I put out a press release about a deal with the US Govt with no merit, don't you think we'd be in a little trouble by now? It seems like they might have made a mistake in when and how it was released but there might be some merit to it, and the stock is at a low, might be worth a gamble. But, I think that it's widely held opinion that the publication you cited is tied in to shorts. Here's what a google on them turned up:

If no one paid to have these penny stocks promoted, how would people find out about them? It seems like it's a double edged sword. I'm going to put the other co on my watch list though and see how things pan out.
Maybe a group of shareholders could get together and approach kim about financing on terms you think are better suited for the long term health of the company and pps.
if you mean halted it is odd that there haven't been any trades in 30 minutes - someone with some dry powder should slap the ask and see what happens
edit: looks like someone did, I guess the mm's on the sell side are holding firm. That's good.
Here here, can you imagine the eyes that will be on kblb when this happens! I hope I can hold out that long!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
"The KBLB-SIAL deal is SIAL's "poster child" for its new custom zinc finger service which is so important to it that it has highlighted it at every presentation it's made since starting the service.
(I have discussed this in great detail several times before. I will find that and several other posts sometimes today or tomorrow and sticky post them (if I can figure out how))
As evidence of the importance that SIAL attaches to this deal note that it still, more than two months later, highlighted as one of the only 4 news items on SIAL's front page (and the other 3 are weeks more recent). I suspect it will stay there until success is achieved.
http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/united-states.html
It would be unimaginable that SIAL would fail to release a major PR upon the success of the KBLB GMs using it's zinc fingers. KBLB's use will the the first product to use SIAL's ZFs to reach the market."
Let's hope this is the case! Hopefully nothing can stop this technology from shining through.
Where did you pull this from? Was it in a filing?
I agree, my apologies but I'd hope that someone would correct me if I was blatantly misinformed.
It is private - it's a Catholic school, how could it be public? And the total student population is between 11,000 & 12,000.
pretty impressive, you put out that pr didn't you! Just kidding about the pr thing. GOod job.
So, what will be going on on that board that isn't here? Shouldn't we keep it all in one place so new and potential investors can see?
I hope so.
I'm not able to say whether or not this is a good deal but to assume that KBLB has a creditor "fitted with an electric shock collar" is not realistic, they have the money my friend.
I hope we don't go any lower, but only since I won't be able to add for a while.
Thanks! Praying for some big green this week.
Sorry ZF, I should've used quotes, I got the answer from someone else - not playing any games just trying to contribute as best I can.
Here is the reason why the larger worms weren't used from the start:
The strain that we were using at that time had certain genetic markers that made it easy for us to determine when a new transgenic was created. This significantly reduced out screening time. Our methods have improved since then.
does anyone know what kind of spider's genes they're using?
zf and other experts, out of curiosity, why werent they using larger commercial worms from the start?
Looks like maybe some of them are taking a little profit and running. Speaking of Tim, anyone know if he's shorting?
It might be illegal to do that but if all of us are curious about what he's pushing and click it . . .
click on it - he'll have to pay
good for you!
I think you're right, I'd rather him focus on getting this thing to market than worrying about the pps which can swing on nothing more than emotion. Just wish I'd have sold some last week and bought back this am - looks like we can expect the price to pogo once we get back into the .16 range as flippers who bought in low this a.m. take profits. Wish it was me!
Does it really matter? Since this is a penny stock, I think it's safe to assume that everyone is a flipper. And if anyone says otherwise - why should you believe them? FWIW I've been holding / adding, sold a few small blocks at a gain to add more and now I'm right back where I started so I'm on the precipice as to whether to dump or hold. I was encouraged by the cc in that we have the gen 1 silk that is ready for commercialization right now. As I stated Friday, if it can be produced at a reasonable cost I see no reason why consumer textile companies, especially outdoor and athletic gear manufacturers wouldn't be interested in buying the silk. I think that the zinc finger tech will kick the research into turbo and shows a huge commitment on Kims Part, I don't think he'd go through all the hoops with sigma just to drag things out a little longer.
so why sell around .16?
You want scientific proof? Here's a refresher:
I went to school with an exec at ua, emailed Kim to see what the best way to inform him of the technology. It'd be great if it's something that can help their business grow even more.
Man, it just hit me, gen 1 is ready, what about the whole outdoors market - I can see columbia, north face, pategonia etc. scrambling to use this product in everything from sock liners (for hiking)& long johns to designer ski jackets that never see the slopes
agreed. i for one will be looking very carefully to see what else might be good to sell off to buy more kblb - especially if we dip significantly, but I guess even more so if sp is strong next week.
Hopefully (I didn't think to send this to Ben) they'll address whether or not they actually have the zinc fingers yet or if they're in the process.
did you see what happened after the last cc?
disciplined traders who are happy with 10-20% profit. That's a real bird in the hand. I'm not slick enough for that.
