Good day to all. jerry
Conncerned about your $$$? BIG IF...
""IF"" you want your money back... or even make a few bucks, I'd back off with all the noise about law suits and threats. JB took this on knowing most of whats happened already and knowing the boys involved. Some of you are just stirring things up and making it harder on JB. I'm down probably as much as many of you. I bought with my eyes wide open. I've talked to JB and expect him to do everything possible and asap. Sooo... give it a rest with all the wild talk. Nothing you can do will speed it up or fix anything. BOTH investing and trading is for adults...
Haven't spent my 2 cents for a while, so thot I would... LOL!!!!!
jerry
ps Have a good weekend and go to church.
Green, just back from spending $$$ on new tires...
Haven't talked to Jeff for a week or so. I think most of whats happened was part of the plan. Hoping it gets settled soon. Would like to retire and just spoil GRANDkids for a living.
Have a good one! jerry
Good Morning JB. Early AM mtg...
Doing great! Will definitely get the boat out this week and probably chase the ball around too. Hope your day is blessed! jerry

jerry
Hi Jeff! Back in "recovery mode"...
Doing well and ready for some summer recreation with NO PAIN!!! LOL! Prayers headed your way. Be BLESSED! jerry
Hi JB...
Surgery again tomorrow... YUK! 2 to 3 more weeks of recoop. This is my year to recoop I guess. Just like EZTO minus the "e". Check your e-mail... sending a funny! Have a good one! jerry
GOOD word Mike!...
The next time some here go on a rant I'm putting them on ignore. The Bible says life & death is in the power of the tongue. And it's true. Words, whether spoken or on paper encourage or destroy! This board has been sick lately.
GO JB! and GO EZTO (w/o) the "e".
jerry
Thanks Mike! Wish I had the same growing season you have down south. We freeze early and late. Have to get it done quick! 6 weeks seems to have most of the body working great! Rest to follow. Lots of prayer helped most of all.
Best to ya~! jerry
Good Morning Jeff. You never did say how the fishing was??! Just tilled my garden, planted most of it and almost feel I'm back in business again. It's GOOD to feel good! Best to ya! jerry
Still have em all. eom.
MiMiC... Just showing how Mexico puts our people thru hoops to work there. NOTHING meant by it. Crazy world we live in. jerry
O.T. An American working in Mexico...
copied...
Received the following from Tom O'Malley, who was a Director with SW BELL in Mexico City.
You remember I spent five years working in Mexico.
I worked under a tourist Visa for three months and could legally renew it for three more months. After that, we would be working Illegally. I was technically illegal for three weeks waiting on the FM3 approval
During that six months our Mexican and US Attorneys were working to secure a permanent work visa called an FM3. It was in addition to my US passport that I had to show each time I entered and left the country. Barbara's was the same except her's didn't permit her to work.
To apply for the FM3 I needed to submit the following notarized originals (not copies) of my:
1. Birth certificate for Barbara and I.
2. Marriage certificate.
3. High school transcripts and proof of graduation.
4. College transcripts for every college I attended and proof of graduation.
5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors I had worked for at least one year.
6. A letter from The ST. Louis Chief of Police indicating I had no arrest record in the US, no outstanding warrants, and was "a citizen in good standing."
7. Finally; I had to write a letter about myself that clearly stated why there was no Mexican Citizen with my skills and why my skills were important to Mexico. We called it our "I am the greatest person on Earth" letter. It was fun to write.
All of the above were in English that had to be translated into Spanish and be certified as legal translations and our signatures notarized. It produced a folder about 1.5 inches thick with English on the left side and Spanish on the right.
Once they were completed Barbara and I spent about five hours, accompanied by a Mexican Attorney, touring Mexican Government office locations and being photographed and fingerprinted at least three times.
At each location, and we remember at least four locations, we were instructed on Mexican tax, labor, housing, and criminal law, and that we were required to obey their laws or face the consequences. We couldn't protest any of the Government's actions or we would be committing a felony. We paid out four thousand dollars in fees and bribes to complete the process. When this was done we could legally bring in our household goods that were held by US customs in Laredo Texas. This meant we had rented furniture in Mexico while awaiting our own goods. There were extensive fees involved here that the company paid.
We could not buy a home and were required to rent at very high rates under contract and in compliance with Mexican law.
We were required to get a Mexican drivers license. This was an amazing process. The company arranged for the Licensing agency to come to our headquarters location with their photography and finger print equipment and the laminating machine. We showed our US license, were photographed and fingerprinted again and issued the license instantly after paying out a six dollar fee. We didn't take a written or driving test and never received instructions on the rules of the road. Our only instruction was never give a policeman your license if stopped and asked. We were instructed to hold it against the inside window away from his grasp, because if he got his hands on it you would have to pay a ransom to get it back.
We then had to pay and file Mexican income tax annually using the number of our FM3 form as our ID number. The company's Mexican accountants did this for us and we just signed what they prepared. It was about twenty legal size pages annually.
The FM 3 was good for three years and renewable for two more after paying more fees.
Leaving the country meant turning in the FM# and certifying we were leaving no debts behind and no outstanding legal affairs (warrants, tickets or liens) before our household goods were released to customs.
It was a real adventure, and If any of our Senators or Congressman went through it just once, they would have a different attitude toward Mexico.
The Mexican Government uses it's vast military and police forces to keep its citizens intimidated and compliant. They never protest at their White house or government offices but do protest daily in front of the United States Embassy.
Good AM guys & gals. Turning 70 aint so bad.
Sat was the Big day. Had a wonderful "party" Sunday at church. We do a last Sunday of the month "pot luck". Lots of hilarious cards and a few bucks for spending money. May buy a few more ez. Price is right. LOL! Great to be home and almost over the effects of surgery. Have a wonderful nurse, my wife! Got to spoil GRANDkids for almost a month recovering in Texas.
Ready to get in the garden and stir up some dirt. Good day to all! jerry
cosmo... being a male type seems the best cause. No known single reason I know of but it runs in families and and hits a high % of men over 70. My dad had it. The freezing method is new but has far fewer side effects and does a complete job. Dr in Texas has men flying there from all over the world. Glad I found out about it. The other procedures had way too many side effects. jerry
Good AM cosmo...
After prostate surgery almost 4 weeks ago... EVERYTHING is simple! LOL!! It's just good to be alive and beginning to feel like golf and fishing again. My life doesn't depend on this stock even tho I'm really hoping for some good news.
I became a Christian 36 years ago and learned the simpler you can make anything, the better it will be. My motto has been... K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid. LOL! (speaking to myself)
Hope you have a great day! jerry
Good Morning Lady! Good looking cup of coffee!
Home is a wonderful place. Looks like not much change here. Wheels turning slowly. Think I'll round out my #'s today and wait for the next step. Have a bunch of shares over a year old. Hope your day is Blessed! jerry
LIFE is gett'n good again!
Sad to leave kids & GRANDkids tho.
Headed north with my flomax and a permission slip from my doc in case I have to stop alongside the road. Had a doc that was a nutcase! LOL!! A few words on JB for anyone intrested... How long do you think he looked over what he was getting into? Did he cover ALL the bases before he put his name on the line? Did he have a good rep. before doing so and does he want to keep it in tact? Does he think he has some ideas and plans that will bring focus to this ""on paper"" company?
I think some clowns need to clean up their act or make some hard choices. Last I knew, I did my own buying W/O any pressure from Jeff or anyone else!!! He did make the picture look much better just because I've known him so long.
I'm just now stepping off my soap box. Have a good day all and I'll be posting from Neb in a couple of days.
jerry
JB...
3 hospitals, 1 surgery, 2 ER's, 4 Doc's, 3 cath's and they told me this morning I couldn't leave Texas till I could put in my own cath. Now that was a real fun deal. Texas has been no fun except for some wonderful kids and GRANDkids! Headed home in the AM. Will have the cell on. Sorry I couldn't talk a couple of days ago. Home health was looking at all the parts. LOL!
Thanks to ALL for the kind thots and prayers. MUCH appreciated.
Best to all. jerry
JB...
Tuff with Peli. Go way back with him. Prayers on the way. Tell him Hi if you touch base. Is the fog starting to lift?
Have a good one! jerry
...passable... eom
Good Morning JB. Always TUFF when it's your kids...
Have experienced that also with my son. Very small town & the rich kids ran it. My boy was one of the top athletes in his school and much jealousy. We had our whole church pray for God to settle it and also had a good friend who was a lawyer who went to bat for us.
My wife & I will pray this gets worked out quickly before more hurt. The school definitely needs to be accountable!
Yesterday was a GREAT day! First full meal and first time getting rid of 5 days worth. Sorry for being gross! Never thot a BM would be such a wonderful thing. Beginning to get some strength back and ready to make this extra bladder "HISTORY"! LOL!
Let's get ready to rumble.
Good day to all. jerry
Many Thanks to all the well wishers...
Much appreciated! The Bible says our body is "marvelously and wonderfully made". I can vouch for that! With His help, it heals quickly.
Looks like our friend JB is doing one of the things he does best. It's gonna be a good ride.
Best to all. jerry
