You are 100% on the money with that post....!
Bravo!
Exactly. So many posters here talk like, if you think positive, positive things will happen...
I don't get that way of thinking when it comes to investing.
Thus far you have a losing bet, otherwise by now you would have seen a "non-G0800" text to connect service up, running and advertised.
"non-G0800" text to connect service up, running and advertised.
Why would they advertise? And GO800 doesn't ;)
The concept is very similar. And similar does not mean exact. I've argued this point before...
1. How is the contact initiated? Via SMS, right?
2. What is the end result? The customer is reached via a call back, right?
Yes, its not exact. But very similar.
I'm not saying Comcast is using the EXACT method to put a person in touch with a company. Yeah, they aren't doing direct connection via a SMS. But, I bet if they chose to....they could. Also, they are actually letting people queue up a call, wait in line without waiting on HOLD, then get a call back. Thus, solving a problem for their customers who don't want to wait on hold.
LMAO....
It's funny how people think its easy to partner and piggy back on other companies. Not gonna happen...ever.
Very similar in my opinion.
But Ike said...he is a "true marketer"
I agree, at least its an attempt. The only issue I have with it, is that it doesn't seem very well thought out. But at least it's something....
That is what it sounds like to me...but why would anyone in the right mind want to do that? It seems odd.
Maybe if GOIG was their cell phone provider. What do those minutes get you? Just the way the call is routed / initiated is different...to me that does not make sense to even begin to charge someone based on the usage per minute (although they do get some free minutes).
I've said this in the though, what makes sense is to give it away for free for all cell phone users. BUT! Do have a pay per connection or pay per minute service levels for business. So, free vs. enterprise.
Sorry, should have wrote approved...not filed.
True. You never once mentioned those things...but I figured I would point out some differences in your 'stretch' ;)
Have a good holiday yourself Oil.
I'll answer this question honestly and openly. I don't think that GOIG has a vision or a proper direction it needs to get this thing off the ground. Now, a lot of people are going to say - sell your shares and move on. If I was close to even, I'd probably consider it...but I'm too far down to do so and who knows, the ball could land on the green 0.
Now, I really truly thought the idea had the chance to catch on when I first stumbled upon it. As of late, I am less sure. But I really don't like the new idea that Twitter will help this company gain a user base (at least the way the have it setup). Honestly, if they took the part out about charging basic users based on minutes - then yes, that makes sense. But to add that you are going to charge basic cell phone users based on minutes, shows a lack of understanding of their own product, their audience and the dynamics of this industry.
So, I'm pretty pessimistic on this strategy. But, the idea if properly applied, marketed, the patent gets filed and with a little forward thinking, this could be a great little niche.
So, overall this is a crap shoot for me. Could it hit, sure...will it in my mind, probably not. It just doesn't make sense some of the moves. Yes, I don't own a company but I can clearly see obvious mistakes and a lack of thoughtfulness and strategy on the part of the CEO.
Who knows...I'm just having fun with it in the end. Its the longest roll of the dice I've had in a while.

that chick is a paid reporter of the OTCReporter.com
no prob....
i wonder if those are just iHubbers? ;)
I have no clue what I'm looking at?
I wish I could agree with most of that, but your comparison to a pharmaceutical company with GOIG is a stretch.
Start-up pharmaceutical companies and GOIG lack revenue and hold debt for different reasons.
1. Pharmaceutical companies typically are in the research phase with their drug(s) and they could be on a Phase III clinical trial for years before the FDA approves, etc. During their trials they can't sell the new drugs until its approved. Therefore, cutting down on revenue.
GOIG doesn't have to wait on anything to try and turn a profit.
2. Pharmaceutical companies can and do usually obtain funding from outside investors based on their research and the science behind their line of drugs.
I haven't heard anything on FU or any other outside investor.
3. Pharmaceutical companies have debt that is accumulated from research, lobbyist, clinical trials, etc.
GOIG is spending money on what? 11 million dollars in debt and what do they/we have to show for it?
So, yeah, a pharm company and GOIG have vast differences in why they have debts and lack revenue. Pharm companies are typically waiting on FDA approvals, clinical trials etc. - What is GOIG waiting on?
This mobile market space they are playing in is very competitive. I do think if that patent gets approved, that could be some type of game changer for GOIG. But until then, I think they have to be walking on thin ice for funds (just my hunch). Also, because they are having a hard time to market toward large companies, I'm not so sure they have/had a competent game plan to start with.
Ha, no and thank god I don't cause I'd probably be out of a job in a short while. Wait, I didn't know GOIG had "departments"?
News to me...
ugh, i wish those financials were "good news"...
with statements from ike like:
companies are reluctant to sign on...etc
to me, that means they obviously have not had good success signing clients. also, we never heard of any deals being inked, ever. we never heard the status of the 50 key words from the bank. we never heard the status of the LOI from FU (aka F. U.). we never...the list goes on.
all we have heard are empty statements and new "things" that never amount to anything concrete (paying clients).
so, get ready for the bombshell that says this is their last attempt to get a user base and paying customers...cause they have to be running out of operating capital.
This tweet is nothing but the classiest tweet I have ever seen in my life.
(sarcasm)
old news.
show me one user signed up via twitter for GO800...
Im headed to Tahoe in Feb....
It'll get lower...and you can buy to your hearts content.
you can relearn that lesson here...if you'd like?
what's the definition of insanity?
Do people really invest in stocks based on "faith"?
I seriously hope not. Numbers/Financials/Money talks...
Twitter in no way, will push this...I can guarantee that 100%.
I can also guarantee that when a users signs up for a twitter account, they will not be asked/prompted to add a GO800 keyword to their account.
What I do think will happen is GOIG will try to buy some "paid tweets" as advertisements and then twitter users who see the ad may or may not sign up...that's my guess with the Twitter thing.
Does anyone even know HOW to sign up NOW via twitter for a keyword? I don't see any way possible yet...
I wonder if that even matters, cause they can just retract it and say it was a typo, right?
Speaking of...what's up with Mr. FU
I wonder if FU stands for...F....U?
But what I'd like is transparency on where that revenue came from...
You won't like what you see/read
11 million in debt, last I checked. CEO is paying himself 200K, bought a car on the company dime, shares are given out to pay consultants left and right, etc.
i havent seen it yet...im sure its happened....but im sure its just as east to hit the lottery....
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaa! JOKE.
penny stocks are the WORST...literally. Bottom barrel.
Well, if Ike sounded exactly how he sounds and the company posted huge profits - I would not care one bit.
I think its actually the realization that the company doesn't have a sound understanding of how to penetrate the market. there are plenty of companies doing stuff that is very similar, and offer similar SMS/TEXT based marketing products that are doing well. Therefore there is a market (maybe its saturated) that GOIG is having a hard time gaining share of...simple as that.
ha...but at least they "made money" for shareholders on their way to jail ;)
Good point.
But, now that they stopped doing "voice keywords"
who do you connect to? just your friends who have username/twitter IDs/GO800 IDs?
It so doesnt seem focused....
I'm in that range...but I knew the risk going in...and never averaged down, etc.
Yeah, but seriously...to try to charge a user based on minutes, seems to be a fundamental lack or knowledge of the mobile market, cell phone users, etc. Right? Or am I wrong with that part?
Yes, give it away to the masses for free. But do not charge them at all (i know they get a free 100 mins).
Charge businesses either to
1. Tap into your user base and send marketing information to the cell phone users
2. Charge a business to receive over 100 connections via GO800 per month via a silver/gold/enterprise plan
3. Charge businesses period. Not the users. Facebook/Google/Twitter do not charge you or I...
Just everything I have seen them try has been so fundamentally wrong and they don't have a clue. I am the one who suggested this tiered system in the past, but they went and did it totally backwards....
But, a lot of things have NOT happened for the better...since April...so I don't see management improving its game plan.
I didn't lose much in this like some say they have...but I don't like losing money. ever.
It has no potential as long as they have no direction, no focus, no game plan.
I mean to put everything on cell phone users and to charge them per-minute, etc...is asinine. Seems like they have no idea how to run a business.
Now, if he had said we are giving this away to businesses for free and charging them based on usage and if they want to upgrade their plan to a silver or gold plan...that would have made sense. But no...
Hopefully no one else loses any money on this thing...
Unless they come up with some real product or real marketing strategy...its all but over.
But, yes...thanks for the Bravo ;)
