Yup, hang on to those Great Western Minerals shares ....
Goldtimer, most of us here are not mining insiders like you, and experienced observations like these make all the difference. thank you for all your posts & today's insightful "look around the corner" !
:) Amen to that, Brother!
...and I will bring a big T-Shirt for GOLDTIMER that says:
"When I speak, you should be taking notes"
Goldtimer, thanks from one of the longs here for your heartfelt comments. It is reassuring to know a long time experienced mining professional as you to be in the same boat. have been rowing it for a while also. one day we will toast at the shores of Willie's Duck pond...
sense some disgruntlement here. you couldn't possibly be linked to one of those four pump rags that the WOLV IR turns down every week, no ?
MasterBreadMaker, that is exactly my impression, too. what was the name of that Hedge Fund again which was in the process of building up their mining group ;)...
a good sign IMHO
second that. really happy with Fidelity. they also let you trade other international stocks this way (e.g. European or Australian only listed stocks). in addition, you can exchange USD into one of those foreign currencies and have those foreign currencies as "positions" in your acct.
Updated share structure as of Aug 5, 2011:

dilution slowing down. sign of revenue coming in from the first Chile purchase contract?? next filing should be telling.
Older than dirt, the scientific data is what brought me here a long time ago & have been watching WOLV for a long time very closely.
As we are in the "prospecting phase" preceding a 2011 drilling (per WOLV communication) program following a highly intriguing ground IP, all of a sudden we have this mud slinging starting along with what appears to be targeted selling to lower the PPS.
coincidence? hardly. I suspect something more sinister is going on here...
let's stick to the facts. yes, stock has been down lately. IMHO, brought down with some targeted selling by people with an agenda.
just because there isn't any big buying going on as of late doesn't mean anything. in all likelyhood many long term investors loaded the boat earlier. I am one of those who sees the real potential here, have faith in the management & am happy to wait this out.
you don't ? then why waste time on this board & not move on to greener pastures?
Cee-It, IMHO sounds like you hit the nail on the head. that would explain the onset of the recent seemingly coordinated mudslinging efforts. look very purposeful the way it was brought back down today immediately after the buy....just another confirmation that we're sitting on something great. the bottomfeeders want in.
Called also. machine every time. e-mailed numerous times, to all e-mail addresses I know; never obtained a single reply. Where is the follow-up on the Harrions Land Services work announced in March??
indeed. getting closer to drilling & drill results - and all of a sudden what appears to be professional, choreographed mud slinging starts ....makes me feel even better about my investment if people go to that much trouble :) LOL. Someone wants in cheap. Badly.
well, the O/S count is certainly unparalleled, though. just lean back. IMHO, the metals potential in the Urals is something worth holding onto....
stashocash; an important aspect indeed. IMHO, it's a one-of-a-kind chance for an outsider to break into the security/access control industry. just a wild guess, but this could potentially make Microsoft the dominating force in the security industry essentially overnight...
Jimmyjam, LOL, you got that one right can't believe people are still falling for this POS??
the "current tier status" they promised in June of last year never happened, no reports ever again on the photovoltaics, back to no reporting status on OTC, phone number not working; - IR not responding anymore, vaenza.net domain expired...
which part of "GAME OVER" don't people understand?
Updated O/S numbers as of today, July 1st. Mods please update I-Box:
O/S: 168,286,690 (compare: 157,674,819 on June 2, 2011)
Restricted Shares: 103,587,633
WOLV prospects: the copper, when it's hopefully found, will be able to fund a lot of other things. I recall there were also radioactive anomalies found early on that haven't been followed up upon yet...
SuperC, IMHO that is exactly what ECOS should & will do, once they have the $$ from a first confirmed contract (CHILE?); - $$ for up-front financing the (test-for-free) test units for transportation contract opportunities. and once the first contract comes out of there - liftoff....
SuperC, all good thoughts. I agree if the Chilean Energy provider test phase worked out & they will go through with their follow-up order, that should prove a watershed moment for this stock IMHO. Same for the transportation sector: ONE successful field trial with a major city transportation fleet ...
Copper’s Role
Klarr says that copper will continue to play a substantial role in the automotive industry as electrification of vehicles expands. “It’s still is one of the preferred elements to use in both the battery and the high voltage systems because of its conductivity capabilities, its resistance to oxidation and its malleability, so it’s still a preferred solution,” he says. “There’s also quite a lot of copper coming into play in the high voltage wiring systems and in some of the batteries.”
Another area in which copper will likely play a substantial role is in charging systems that will be used to keep vehicles running. “Along with the hybrid and the electrification of vehicles is the infrastructure. There are going to be charging stations built that are almost certainly going to use significant amounts of copper,” Klarr notes.

UPCO: tried several times to contact company. no replies. share structure has deteriorated quite a bit since last year; I called TA & posted on the UPCO IHub board today: float now ~ 74.6 million, mostly due to a considerable amount of formerly restricted shares that appear to have come off restriction & dumped; hence the ~70% drop in PPS compared to Nov 2010.
nope. I-box still has the 03/30/11 S/S
, if you haven't noticed. can the mods update on a monthly basis?
Called Pacific Stock Transfer Co. today.
share structure as of Thu, June 2, 2011 :
O/S: 157,674,819 (compare: 139,79,162 on 03/30/11)
Float: 61,309,409 (compare: 49,969,308 on 03/30/11)
let's hope those contracts with the Chilean energy provider come through.....
well, our mods haven't updated the share structure in the I-Box for more than half a year, so I picked up the phone myself today (s. below).
It looks they issued about 2.25 mill new shares since last October, but the biggest revelation came in the much smaller number of restricted shares: roughly 26 million have come off restriction. that would explain a few things...
TA Information from Thu, June 2, 2011:

if one of the mods could verify the share structure (especially # of restricted shares & OS), that might shed some light on what's going on. the current I-Box data are more than a year old (May 19, 2010)! called Dynamic Transfer Service myself today multiple times, but only answering machine??
planning on calling him next week
Same here. very early on, after reading the geology report. they are bound to find a JV partner sooner or later with these kinds of grades; just a matter of time...the patient ones will be rewarded handsomely here. ground-floor opportunity.
Took a starter position even though missed the 3/1 split. low float, no debt, a revolutionary product in a sector that will very likely see substantial growth; homeland security award & hence potential government contracts. the significant cost savings compared to existing technology are especially intriguing. potential takeover target for an "outsider" that wants to break into the security industry is the icing on the cake for me. no brainer IMHO.
Doberman,Doubloon: you received the proxy for the next shareholder meeting? management trying again for the unlimited AS ???
PPS: well, NO ONE can complain anymore they didn't have a chance to pick up shares at the private placement price!
Doubloon, re: the pond area, have you heard anything about whether the pond area will be included in the drill plan? or are they waiting to do a ground IP on that one first also??
lesco, boy let's hope so....it's been a long while since last summer ....:)
regarding "micro plants" as used in the press release, perhaps this is the technology they're going to licence ?

given how low OTGI still is, rewards could be potentially higher than Nemaska (for the patient investors, that is) ?

Ultra Small Synthetic Ferrihydrite Based Catalysts with Promoter Metals for Fisher Tropsch Synthesis of Alternative Fuels
Case ID: MP-00688
Web Published: 9/25/2009
Description: Reference Number: U-4719
Invention Description:
This technology describes the synthesis of ferrihydrite, iron based catalyst, for the Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) synthesis. Ferrihydrites are found in nature and are well known precursors to various iron oxides. In this technology, 2-line ferrihydrite catalysts have been synthesized and characterized. Interestingly, a ferrihydrite catalyst that was prepared for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis was found to contain other metals normally not present in naturally occurring ferrihydrites. The ferrihydrite catalyst modified with F-T promoter metals has been shown to be a highly active F-T catalyst. The reported synthesis represents a novel route to produce ferrihydrite catalysts, which are nanoparticles with ultra small dimensions and a very high surface area compared to naturally occurring ferrihydrite.
Market Applications:
The production and development of synthetic fuels has been long viewed as an alternative solution to limit the use of fossil fuels and support growing energy need. Recently, the Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) synthesis has been generating renewed attention as an efficient method to transform syn gas (a mixture of CO and H2) generated from various sources such as coal, biomass, and natural gas to useful components and products, for example, gasoline, diesel fuel, waxes and other valuable chemicals. Utilization of iron catalysts in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis has proven to be efficient due its reasonable price and activity, and is especially beneficial with syn gas generated from coal gasification.
Features, Benefit & Advantages:
One of the examples of an iron based catalyst is ferrihydrite that was shown to be highly useful in the generation of alternative liquid fuels from syn gas obtained from a source, such as coal or biomass. As a result of the straightforward method of synthesis, ultra small particle size and high surface area leads to excellent catalytic activity. The highly active synthetic ferrihydrite catalyst will find broad application in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.
Intellectual Property: Two provisional patent applications have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Development Stage:
This technology is part of an active and ongoing research program that has been demonstrated to work in proof-of-concept experiments. It is available for developmental research support and licensing under either exclusive or non-exclusive terms.

Likewise, Doubloon, from our family to yours, a blessed holiday season & thank you so much for running the best board on i-Hub!
Here's to a 2011 filled with lots of love and blessings, good health and good fortune for all of us!
