Just upticked again. Having a little trouble getting started this morning, but I figured that would be the case with a high penny range. I think a lot of people are sitting and watching to see what happens with it.
Starting to get some hits on the ask now. I don't think it will take all that much to get this one moving once it gets going. The hard part is getting this high penny beast rolling. It's like pushing a large stone down a hill. It might be hard to get it moving at first, but once it does... momentum takes it.
I have been looking around for a more updated share structure and the best I can come up with is what is in the ibox. I'm hearing that the float is around 11-12 million shares. A call to the TA might be a good thing this morning.
I don't know if there will be any news or not. I am looking for an update on their oil/gas wells, but they just released this on the 9th, so I doubt we'll see anything too soon.
MIDLAND PARK, N.J., SEPTEMBER 9, 2010--Global Agri-Med Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets: GAGO) has announced plans to start putting together a strategy and timetable in order to start production from its oil and gas wells to generate immediate cash flow. With the recent acquisition of Calgary, Canada based Quad Energy Corporation, the Company has Eleven proven properties to its holdings.
Fred DaSilva, President of Quad Energy, said, "Our development strategy to increase shareholder value is to capitalize on the great foreign investor demand for oil and gas companies in Canada. Our Company has a very attractive balance of oil and gas properties to develop and we are moving forward quickly to begin that development. The IEA has predicted that global oil and gas demand will accelerate next year and Quad Energy would like to position itself so that we are in a very strong position to exploit this opportunity."
DaSilva went on to say, "We have exceptional oil and gas properties that provide a tremendous opportunity to show revenue from these initiatives in the very near future. One of which is our 100% interest in 2,080 acres in Meota, Saskatchewan with accessible oil potential from multiple formations. In addition our Westlock, Alberta holdings are made up of 7,680 acres showing potential production from 2 separate formations. These are just two of our Eleven properties all with proven reserves. In addition, we have positioned ourselves to be able to acquire several cash flow opportunities, with this pending Quad Energy is poised for explosive growth."
Looks like we're seeing .15 x .25 at the blocks right now. I expect that to tighten up a bit before or at the open.
That's probably all it really needs is just an infusion of buying pressure. I'm curious to see what happens with it. I have it on my watchlist for the morning but there is a lot of heat behind it. They just have a large acquisition that is going to give them 11 productive wells that should bring in some good revenue. I think those are going to be critical to get things going really well.
Also hearing CTCC is having rumblings... not CCTC, but CTCC. COnfusing... but I hear there will be big buying on that one in the near future. Watch it closely.
Good morning all! I'm going to be watching to see what happens with GAGO today. Put that on your watchlist. It is either going to do really well or trade sideways. I haven't decided yet, but there's a lot of firepower behind it. Should have a lot of volume if nothing else.
I think it will be one to at least watch closely if nothing else. It has a low float so there definitely is potential for something to happen. I just don't have enough personal history with the stock to know exactly what it will do. I'm hearing enough to know that there will be some firepower behind it.
It is a fine line a company must play. This is a development stage company. They are going to need to bring in money to help generate the capital that they need in order to make even more money down the road.
Those are called "list" builders. Regardless, it is a business like any other. As traders we experience a great number of challenges and numerous risks. We are gambling every trade that we make. This is just a different type of gamble. Some people invest in land, some buy gold, some buy blue chip, some pinks... some people trade long term and others trade momentum. If you go to a casino you want variety, it is no different here.
Do I expect GAGO to be a long term play, who knows. It has potential based on what I see in the PRs. But numerous other companies had potential in their PRs as well. Just trade it for what it is and be smart. That's all you can do. I can't fault an awareness company for making money no less than I can someone shorting a stock. It is a different type of gamble, that's all.
That one didn't do so well, but then again I guess I have a different outlook on many of these awareness plays. I don't expect all of them to be winners because there is typically a reason why someone is willing to pay for promotion. They don't just hire an awareness company for fun. The hope is that the person hiring the awareness company isn't selling enough shares to slow the stock.
But I do stress to all that I know, you have to trade smart in penny stocks. Momentum trading is difficult and has a great deal of risk. But if you play it smart, understand what a momentum play is then you have a good chance of making money.
That one had huge volume though. Looked like massive dilution on that one. I don't know if they really had anything to do with that, because I believe they work on a cash basis. But with any promotion play, they should always be watched very carefully. You have to play them smart. I think it takes a certain type of experienced trader to play a promo play.
The volume has been pretty light on it lately. It has been trading sideways but it looks like it could have a bit of a breakout. Not sure if I'm going to buy or not tomorrow. I normally like getting in something BEFORE the heat is out on it, but looks interesting.
I live in an HOA, just not worth the hassle. I have Fios... not sure I'd want to go downward... the quality is incredible, even if it means I have to go to a sports bar to watch sports.
So we have OTC blaze and Epic on this one? That's typically a pretty good combination. I think it will be one to watch for sure.
Are they even that big on ihub? I think most of their promotion power comes through other methods. I'm just curious if they can bring some awareness to the recent acquisition. That was a pretty positive news release and I don't think it got the attention it deserved.
I wish! Tampa has all NFL football blacked out this weekend unless you have a satellite by the looks of it. I had to go to Applebees just to watch football... but after my fiancee and I got our ass kicked by an appetizer we needed a nap. That's right... we were both starving and the appetizer was still big enough that we told them to bring out our entree in to go boxes. Can't seem to keep up with portion sizes. We were watching little kids eating more than us.
Unfortunately I don't even get to watch the Lions game so I couldn't visibly see it. Looks like I'm going to have to watch Sportscenter tonight. Only ONE game. That's right... ONE GAME was televised in Tampa. The Bills vs Dolphins. WTF! I'm still annoyed by that.
I just saw that Epic is going to be playing this one tomorrow. It has a pretty low float so it could be a good one. It looks like the float is only 11.7 million shares. So depending on who owns those shares this could be an interesting week. I'm just curious to see whether or not they have news coming with it.
I don't know if hiring promoters is a reason to dislike a company. Very few penny stocks move without some sort of promotion or awareness. These aren't companies that everyone has heard of like Microsoft. These are small companies that few people have heard about. Awareness is important to get these companies the awareness they need to move forward. What you need to look at is what the company does during the awareness. If they are diluting the hell out of it like what happened on EVRN then that's not good. But if they aren't diluting or do so in a reasonable manner, then it serves a purpose.
That one is FINALLY starting to thin out. I am amazed how many shares it took to wipe out retail. Now they appear to be mostly gone and it is looking really thin up to .002.
I'm watching several stocks this week. EMXC is probably my favorite. I am going to be grabbing a position in GAGO tomorrow. And outside of that I'm watching the normal solar, vir ed, etc.
Has the company started tapping into this acquisition yet? It looks by their last PR that they have decided to start utilizing the properties from the acquisition, but I don't see anything that says they have started or see anything that gives any estimates on performance.
Apparently there are 11 wells with "proven reserves" according to the latest PR.
I'm hearing big things about it as well. I think we're going to see some great movement on it.
I do like the Bucs but I'm a huge Lions fan. I know that the odds of having a Lions game in Tampa are slim and none... but I'm just a football fan in general. I can watch almost any game.
I was told to check it out and I always check out what someone tells me about. It looked interested, but doesn't seemed to have any real attention. I think I may grab a position.
Unbelievable! I have this big HD package with my Fios tv and I only have ONE football game on tv right now and it is the Dolphins and Bills. WTF!?!?! I understand that the Bucs game is blacked out... that makes sense to me... but no other games? Not even on ESPN? Yesterday there were no joke, 15-20 college games... but only 1 NFL today???
Anyone else hearing anything about GAGO? Looks like a pretty good pickup if you look at the previous PRs out on it. They just made an acquisition that could prove to be pretty good. Not sure if it is a buy or not but definitely one to watch.
I am really surprised that there isn't more chatter on this board. Unless I am missing something the company appears to be pretty solid. It is pink sheets current and just made a recent acquisition that appears to be a pretty big deal for revenue. I'd say that all adds up to something positive.
I have a VERY unpopular view on the Barry Sanders subject. I know this. In fact, I don't know if anyone else that shares my view on this...
Barry the athlete is fine, just wish he wasn't a Lion. I don't think he is as talented as his numbers suggest. I just don't think the Lions had any other options. Had they been able to spread the ball out more then Barry wouldn't have had the number of carries that he did. I truly believe he was only successful because of where he was at the time.
I compare Barry Sanders to the Pistons. Almost every player on the Pistons most recent dream team was a semi star at best... yet on the Pistons they were stars. Once those players left the Pistons they were no longer a star and now we never hear about them. They were only good because of where they were.
All it is going to take is a beefy defensive line and he isn't going to stand a chance. They don't have a single person on their team that seems to be able to step up and give him some relief. I feel like I'm watching the Lions with Barry Sanders. You have to have more than one player or the defense starts keying in on that one person.
You guys are going to have to post some pictures. I was going to post pictures of my vacation until I realized it was mostly just a bunch of pictures of people drinking while running/swimming across the state of Florida. It was alcohol in motion.
I am hearing there will be some promotion behind GAGO this week, but that's about it. I also like EMXC still.
Unfortunately, I don't think Michigan has a good enough team to keep winning if Robinson has a bad day. He is literally winning the games by himself. They are going to need someone else to step up.
Denard Robinson just got 502 yards of offense with 3 touchdowns for the Wolverines... breaking his own single game record for a quarterback from game 1. And we're not talking about a single game record for any team, we're talking the winningest program in college football history. That's one hell of an accomplishment. I think he now gets in the talks with others for a Heisman.
There are several of us on here that are Michigan fans! I was born in Michigan and took quite a few credit hours there before transferring. Big Michigan fan, regardless of where they are or aren't ranked.
I doubt that will happen... but if it does then I will feel great about my $94k gain on it. I could live with that... the taxes would suck, but I'm sure I could handle it. ;0
He saw me in a red dress for the red dress run, which is a HUGE event. He still has questions about that moment as a four year old, hahaha. But damnit I worked that dress.
