it does say 'years' in my post. timeframe based on statements made from management regarding expected time needed to liquidate assets.
2 to 5 year wait on this one.
sickens you? Did you get into lehman prior bankruptcy? If not, you already knew (hopefully) that the company is bankrupt prior to getting into it...
the company doesn't actually have 'your' money unless you participated in the IPO; if you didn't, then the person who has 'your' money is the individual who sold you his shares...
whoa, now this is something...
wow... extremely impressive that you were able to pick that up. A bit concieted that he referes to himself as the 'GOD' of wireless. There are other CEO's of much bigger companies out there that could tout that same title. This guy is pulling a 'John Mackey' of Whole Foods who pulled the same thing. Maybe we'll see 'Rahodeb' pop up here telling us how bad Wild Oats is!
thanks, I am glad to see that you were added as a moderator
no where in the press release does it say they HAVE to buy at the bid.
O2 Secure Wireless, Inc. (Pink Sheets:OTOW) today announced that its Board of Directors authorized a stock repurchase program under which up to fifty million shares of its outstanding common stock may be acquired in the open market over the next six months at the discretion of management.
The Company's management stated that this stock repurchase program authorization is partially in response to what appears to be a significant and concerted effort to suppress the price per share of the Company's common stock through short and/or naked short sales by third parties.
Further, the Company believes that despite progress in liquidity, visibility and price per share in recent weeks, the current share price is still believed to be significantly undervalued.
Management stated that its direct action to enhance shareholder value is critical to future growth and in the best interest of shareholders and the company. Within the next week, the company expects to have an account to trade in the open market and expects to begin its repurchase program.
The shares will be purchased from time to time at prevailing market prices, through open market or unsolicited negotiated transactions, depending upon market conditions. Under the program, the purchases will be funded from available working capital, and the repurchased shares will be held in treasury. There is no guarantee as to the exact number of shares that will be repurchased by the Company, and the Company may discontinue purchases at any time that management determines additional purchases are not warranted.
IDSM already owns shares of Northern Graphite, if I'm reading things correctly, it seems like their shares of Northern (11,750,000) will be moved to the TSX exchange along with the IPO's shares. Something to note though, Gregory Bowes is CEO and CFO of ISMN and on the Board of Directors of both Northern and IDSM.
you talk like 85k is something. With only 31,000,000+ shares outstanding, there's something out of sync. Perhaps a tender offer would be actually much more beneficial to shareholders.
50,000,000 shares hmmm... at .0017 is this such an achievement? That's only $85,000 boys and girls. Could this help the stock? maybe, but not if the company just accumulates at the bottom. It only will help if the company uses it to create a short squeeze, and yes, that means buying at the top, and then supporting the new price level. Will this happen? Let's see...
just do a search 'subsidiary goes public'
I know I will
keep me posted if you find anything out yourself
sounds like a spin off where the spun off company will list their shares on the canadian exchange. how many shares of the spun off company, if any, remains to be seen.
good question...
No one can predict the future and certainly not in regards to speculation in stocks.
does that include you? I've read some posts by you over the last 2 months on his board that supports the contrary... ;)
to what?
alright, any suggestions aimed at resolving this issue other than 'sell your position'?
good job, thanks for the link
thanks for telling us that; to dismiss any suggestion out right is laughable at best imo; hopefully we'll see some volume come into CTDH and get past this absurd market value.
it's not $80/share anymore for a reason.
you don't see spam e-mail going out regarding penny stocks that tout 100%-1000% gains, just to get you to subscribe to their news letter service? Just a theory, but I always thought that maybe those actual 100%-1000% gains were done by the same people sending out the e-mails, to attract attention to stocks they are involved in so they can get a momentary pump out of them so they can dump it at a profit. I just don't want to see CTDH be a stock used by those companies, because technically, .066 to .10 is a 51% gain, but it was all done with just 100 shares, so it may be misleading to unsophisticated individuals who will fall into that trap.
down 33% one day on 800 shares, up 50% the next day on 100 shares (when it was actually just retracing back to the price it came from which it came from the previous day). Wondering if maybe it was the same person selling then buying back to brag that the stock went up 50% to pitch in a web/e-mail based newsletter/flash...
OK, so if it's all paid out as one share, who will get that one share/value of that one share, and wouldn't that make the current stock issues worthless?
there is a potential the there will be no payout to shareholders after the assets are liquidated, thus rendering the stock itself worthless; that's the play. any educated ideas though what the total liquidation value will be and what portion of that will be allocated to shareholders (if zero, please say so)?
Perhaps, I can definitely see it going there, not next month, but maybe a slow trickle to there over the next 6-8 months, but as this is scheduled to be wrapped up tentatively in 3-5 years, and the fact this will move on news, not technicals, just going to not sweat it.
supposedly the bankruptcy process is to be completed in 3-5 years. to become pessimistic this early based on price alone may not be warranted. If it's this price in 2014, then I will take your same tone, but for me it's a little early.
wow, some big spender got 100 shares for .10 today!
Traditionally, short squeezes are quick upward bursts with heavy volume. If you look at today's intra-day chart, the heavy volume wasn't the price action that sent the stock over .002, but instead that move occurred on light volume. Either way, today on the daily chart is shaping up to become a reversal day, too soon say so though as today's trading session is not yet completed.

the buy/sell (taking the ask/hitting the bid) volume is pretty even so far today, and the volume is especially high today. Looks like it could possibly be setting up an exhaustion candle (capitulation) on the daily chart.

the connotation sounds a little different when you restate the 5.88 percentage to it's corresponding dollar value: $0.0001
by and large, I really feel the company has the potential to generate substantial profits, thus someday leading to dividend payments. The stock price itself doesn't prevent the company from issuing dividends if the cash is available. If the stock is .07, while the company is making .28 per share, but the stock doesn't reflect this because of no institutional interest, but yet the company is paying out, lets say a third of the difference, then a .07 per share dividend is not bad at all, even if you were able to pick your shares up for .05. Now just going with that thought though, if a 100% dividend was paid out, I'm sure that in itself would increase the stock price. The point is, if you really are in it based on the company's ability to generate a profit, then stay in it until it's proven that it cannot do so, under the pretense that eventually the company will pay that profit out to you. If you are simply in it for the appreciation of the share price, then possibly you may want to establish price guidelines in which you would liquidate your position.
also, still no word on any details of the stock we should receive for the spin off.
if a stock is supported by institutions, manipulation won't be able to deal with the amount of money coming into the stock. If otow wants to spend any time that deviates from it's core business operations, it should be attracting institutions, not wasting time patrolling bulletin boards. Accept it or not, we are not 'big money'.
with wamu at .0616 it already did, or stated in another way, wamu caught up with lehman on the downside.
it's an idea but you should prove that the person bidding through AUTO is the same person selling through AUTO. If this entity is so dark and evil as you would say, then they should be smart enough to go through two seperate routes, which is not hard to do if they are trading through direct access.
what about traders without margin accounts? we wouldn't want to leave anyone out of a good round of finger pointing.
