I could not agree more..but on to..I'm a guy who likes to do his DD..in your photo, just below the branch of the palm tree there seems to be a shapely, topless wader. Where is that beach? lol..Can I trade from there??
That is smart money DC. There are numerous groups, hedge funds etc, with big money to spend, that are taking the very same position. Get in early post jv and then enjoy the ride.
Yes I agree. Juan is a gentle and courteous man, but he is lacking the skill which is most required. "Closing the Sale".
While he is bending over backwards, the long term shareholders are just being "bent over". Does he not get the drift that this has gone on way too long and his LOYAL shareholders are suffering.
Longs are suffering while he is being "courteous".??
"In due time"??..We've been hearing that for years..GMAB..Flat out not an acceptable answer. Get this done for the sake of many or it could go south.
I'm confused..and that happens often..If they have a deal that is "very, very, very, acceptable, why not take it and move on??
Good luck Indy. You have been here for a long time and we appreciate your contributions. And I agree, five years without a return is way too long. There are other plays that can get you an immediate return on your investment. NONE with the potential of Medinah, but good short turn profits.
While we all wait anxiously, I would like to thank all of you here for staying on topic. It's been a long time since we have had to delete a post. Good job.
I'm in total agreement. $1.00 a share will not get'er done..Great post Bill.Thanks..
I'm thinking energizing bunny.."JUST KEEPS GOING AND GOING".
And thanks to Metal also. He's feeling a little left out but his DD is appreciated as well.
Motrade..New nickname for ya.. loved and reveled in Andrew Magurie's interview. and just think. we have " A JEWELRY CHEST BURIED IN OUR MOUNTAIN". Thank you Scott and Gordon House for that quote. This is all adding up to be very special. Thanks to Gordo on Mining Play for his DD in regards to updates from the BOD.
Very nice and thoughtful thing to do Vince..Me more than anyone, can appreciate it. Now, go lead us to victory..
I have grown to love and appreciate the passion and loyality of my fellow shareholders. "A JEWELRY CHEST BURIED IN THE MOUNTAIN
SIDE". That says it all. Come on now, lets open the chest.

My passion comes more from the old days when I was able to spend time talking to Gordon House...he advised in those days to hang on and hang on tight...we have something here....we really do...he would say...a jewelry chest buried in the mountain side....Scott he said add to your position and keep adding for one day someone is going to pay a great deal of money to mine a piece of this mountain in Chili...trust me...they are going to pay dearly for a piece of this rock....
Personally, I do not care about the current share price. So what if it drops to .018 or goes up to .025. I'm looking for much bigger returns. Call me when it gets to a $1.00. That might get my attention. Or, if it gets to .10, I'll be happy for the loyal shareholders who have been here for twelve years and deserve to at least get their money back, and then some. If they don't bring home the goods this time, it'll be all over. But hey, split ace's and eights, double down on eleven and always take even money on a blackjack, if you get my drift.
I'm sending my emails. I never get an answer, but I'm sending.
Vince.. You seem to have renewed energy. A bounce in your step..You have a swagger goin on. I like it. Keep it up. Before long there is going to be alot of people with plenty of swagger.
And money.."which is just as good as cash".ICMU...
"MINING DEN" was started with this "MONIKER"..
"FREE SPEECH ALTERNATIVE TO MINING PLAY".
I have a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. The short haired twin to your beautiful Bernise..Great dogs..Thanks to all here for great information. I've been on the band wagon for about 6 weeks. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper. Best play I have ever held.
Nper does not have a mountain full of ore..Please, enlighten me as to what exactly nper has or is. I know it owns 14m shares of mdmn. What else?? Just curious. What is nper exactly??
I can appreciate the optimism here, but the fact remains, we still do not have a JVA. Let us not forget how we have arrived to this point. A group/groups of shareholders expressed their frustrations, asked for open communication and a path for conclusion. So far, so good. I thank Greg, JJ and Les. But, we need to have our "on eye on the prize". We cannot be satisified with just that. We must keep pushing for the final result. No excuse's, no unexpected delays. We have an offer. Submit an "Executive Summary" for the current offer and get this done. If a better offer comes in before Friday, fine. If not, "The Summary" will have been approved and they can announce. I caution you all not to get complacent..We're talking about nper??..GMAB..Let's finish this. Come on boys..rally..
Someone just bought 2,250,000 shares..hmm..Largest single buy I have seen in a long time.
You are right Metal.. One way or another..
Through the efforts of many on this board (AKA MINING DEN) business as usual is not an option. That along with Greg leading the charge will get us to the "final conclusion." But, putting a date on it is crazyness. Just relax..Let them do their work and we'll have a "happy ending"..lol...
Please, please do not put a timeline on this. It will just drive all of you crazy. But, rest assured, it will not drag out as in the past. This is a different story, with a much different ending.
It would be logical that if their plan is to buy back shares and pay a dividend to force the MM's to cover, they would prefer the share price be as low as possible prior to the big kaboom...
I have always thought "Mining Play" would be a better venue for the shareholders post JV. Mining Den has served it's purpose.
Good job of getting rid of the rift raft..
This and the eigh board are the most positive of other penny stock boards I have read. Good job here. Keep it up.
This might of been posted before. If so, I apologize. If not, I would be interested to hear how this might change the way MM's do their business.
The Securities and Exchange Commission voted on Wednesday to limit short-selling of stocks that are falling rapidly in price.
The rule was adopted on a 3-2 vote, with the two Republican members saying that no case had been made to justify any further action against short-selling.
The limits would apply to any stock whose price has fallen at least 10 percent during a day’s session. After that, short-selling would still be legal but only if the sale was at a price higher than the best bid then available.
The S.E.C. chairwoman, Mary L. Schapiro, said the rule would force short-sellers to stand in the back of the line, unable to sell shares until all actual owners who wanted to sell had been able to do so.
“The reason this rule makes sense is because it recognizes that short-selling can potentially have both a beneficial and a harmful impact on the market,” she said in a statement.
Don't get your hopes up. Nothing points to this being anything more than a pump. Original shareholders left long ago. DNIITSIMHO....
You are right. They cannot bring MDMN down. There are more buyers than sellers. It's an indicator that the JV deal will happen but not as soon as some here might think. As the JV deal gets closer, look for slight upticks and heavy volume over several days. Check out KATX. The difference is they put out news releases. HINT..HINT..As a large shareholder, after Monday I'm going to start taking chances. Too many other opportunities out there to lay stagnant..But, I still think it's a good play for a "HOPE STOCK".
Majority here use LesP, some use GregC and others use BillH.
Pick your poisen.
Blockman..You should know where I'm coming from..
I'm new here. Very refreshing to have a message board so positive.
Not what I am accustomed to. Bought some today at 62..So, I'm a happy camper..Thanks Monk..
Geez, give it a rest.. I appreciate and hang on every word that is written by those in the know..This ego letting, he said ,she said, crap has got to stop. It makes you sound like a bunch of egomaniac buffoons and puts a big dent in your credibility. Can you just give us your rumors and inside dope without bashing your fellow shareholders? It this some sort of competition? I'm thankful for your input but the in fighting is hard to take.
George..Although I do not always agree with what you say or how you say it, I do appreciate your continuing efforts to get info. Thank you.
Bill..You know JJ better than anyone else here..So I have to agree. Could be the boys at Cerro are tapped out.
SHAREHOLDER UPDATE
December 23, 2009
Dear Shareholders:
During the Year 2009, I have continued to maintain the various claim groups of Cerro, including paying assessments and taxes as they became due as well as maintain the Chilean Company, Cerro Dorado (Chile) S.A.
It has been a long process to arrive at a Joint Venture Agreement on behalf of the Alto de Lipangue property owners, ensuring the right partners are chosen for the future of the exciting prospect. After numerous property visits with professional and Principals, extensive documentation and legal due diligence, we have established a close relationship with a group that meets the goals and criteria for a long-term working partnership and feel a realistic decision is finally close.
Juan Jose Quijano Fernandez
Cerro Dorado, Inc.
FINALLY SOMEONE WITH SOME BRASS WILLING TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS..EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET A GRIP ON THEMSELVES..DO NOT BE LEFT SAYING "WHAT IF"..
Mr. Jack..You are talking about a man, who inspite of his extreme pain and disabilities, traveled half way around the world, on his own dime , looked the man in the eye and came away comfortable that your "freeee" shares will someday pay you a nice dividend. He does not control time frames, drilling schedules, jv negotiations or goverment contracts. He was nice enough to report his DD for all to share so that we as individuals can make our own decisions regarding this stock. So, until you put the same type of effort into some DD you are just worthless blabber. Give the man some respect.
