This post was from Friday, when did you acquire the shares that you intend to make a profit on at $1.50?
FMCC
1975 was a long time ago, I would love a refresher course. We are all ears. I am anyway.
FMCC
"usually" is what I said. I am very well aware the Congress of the United States is a legislative body, but it is rarely referred to as the legislature. However, the lawmaking bodies of all the states are referred to as legislatures.
FMCC
Go for it. FMCC
"Are you familiar with how a bill becomes law?" Actually I am. I received a BA in Political Science from the University of South Florida in 1975. Another point, in American politics when we refer to the "Legislature", it usually talking about state lawmaking bodies. On the federal level, the word usually used is "Congress".
Back to the subject; they need a bill and don't have one.
FMCC
"No one ever expected that bill to become law." Not even Corker or Warner?
FMCC
OK. So how do you suppose that they will be able to shut them down if the one bill that all the shut down advocates are touting has no chance of becoming law. Is there another bill out there with bipartisan support that we just have not heard of?
FMCC
"Looking good so far!" We agree for once.
FMCC
"Even the Corker plan waits 5 years before liquidation and a lot can change in 5 years." Right, and this is the same bill that the governments own website gives a 0% chance of becoming law.

FMCC
I have heard the word, but not all stocks pay dividends and I seriously doubt that any recent investors in FMCC commons did it with visions of dividends dancing in their heads.
FMCC
Not yet.
FMCC
During the Washington Mutual bankruptcy case, the question of share value came up over and over. There were people who thought that the shares that were purchased before the government takeover were inherently more valuable than those shares purchased by "Vulture
Investors" after the share price collapse. There was no difference.
Trading in the shares never stopped, the price just changed. Same story here.
FMCC
I thought that the prospect of purchasing a stock on the cheap and selling it at a higher price was the whole premise of why people invest in the stock market? FMCC
Immaterial...shares are shares are shares.
FMCC
Appreciate the hot tip.
FMCC
Yes it was. But "as usual" suggests a regular happening. Not the case here.
FMCC
The chart certainly does not support that statement. This stock has only hit $1.00 while in a downtrend one time in the last year. Possibly my charts are defective.
FMCC
Nice rebuttal. Hear, Hear!
FMCC
Is there a bill attached to this or is Rep. Hensarling just proposing to propose a bill? If that is the case, then this is just talk. I can't find a bill.
FMCC
Beautifully constructed paragraph, too bad it means nothing. More blather.
FMCC
"political power players"...Corker...LOL
FMCC
This is the same old news that you were touting earlier today. This bill was introduced on June 13. Apparently, it was such a non-entity that no one noticed until today. It has only a slightly better chance of becoming law than Corker-Warner, which has no chance.
FMCC
Does news somehow become more relevant because you post it? This info was posted six posts ago.
FMCC
Here is a little more info on Sen. Corker from the govtrack.us website.
Under "Sponsorship analysis", Corker is rated higher than 3 other senators on "Leadership and ideology". Maybe it would be clearer if I said that he is rated lower than 96 other senators.
I am for sure going to hitch my wagon to his star.

FMCC
Not really. June 13, the same day the doomed Corker bill went to committee. The Committee of no Return.
FMCC
Possibly this link should be a stickie.

FMCC
"Hold shares and watch." That's all any of us can do. Or we can trade them. No other comment on that loser bill? I had been wondering where all the DOA posts came from regarding Corker-Warner.
Now I know...US Government.
FMCC
Check this out MH. Check out the prognosis at the bottom of the page. Also note this is not a blog post. US Government website.

FMCC
"when this legislation comes to a head." Therein lies the rub.
FMCC
A person can do a lot of trading in five years. Does not say much for Corker-Warner that their support in the House is one of the most junior of junior Representatives.
FMCC
Schweikert has only been in the house since 2011. Not exactly a heavyweight.
FMCC
Little more info. Apparently a House companion piece to Corker-Warner. Looks like Reuters article was overblown.

FMCC
MH, I don't have time to proofread all of your posts. Please try harder.
FMCC
Glad that you like that word. I'm guessing that it pops into your mind every time you look in the mirror.
FMCC
Nothing new here. Just another writers spin on the same old (Corker-Warner) story.
FMCC
Read that post in its entirety last week. Thank you.
FMCC
Nice trading. Your TA sure seems to be spot on as you always bail on the peaks. Would like to sell when you do, but I need a few more clicks to be in profit. My PPS is $1.58. Good move.
FMCC
Mercurial...FMCC
Too funny!...FMCC
Do you still stand behind this post; in light of the lawsuit filed yesterday?
