Marijuana S.A.
A New Yorker of Colombian origin and with business of coal in Cundinamarca, wants to be the first to manufacture legal medicines derived from cannabis in the country. Will he succeed?
I WHO Reaches persevere. That is convinced John Field, a commission of US stock barranquilleros parents , lowest speaks Spanish, but Who is tongue-tied with words Difficult to pronounce. So if you are not entangled is your notion of doing business in the country , where not only wants to win silver , But Also innovate.
First he tried to get into flowers, but gave no result ; then realized that the business was in coal , mineral in 2011 walked in the boom in Colombia and rising prices. He met an engineer who already had several mining rights in the country and partnered with him to exploit the mine in La Tabaquera Guaduas , Cundinamarca.
What he did was use a company he had created and had registered in the OTC (Over The Counter) in the United States and performed what is technically known as a reverse merger ( reverse merger ) , by which a company buys another is at Bolsa to avoid the process of listing on the stock market. The new company dedicated to coal in the country , with offices in Guaduas and listed on Wall Street was called New Colombia Resources.
While metallurgical coal mine exploration goes on sale , Campo began looking for other businesses that could attach to your company. So he got the cultivation of oil palm, partnering with some Malaysian investors, which imported a seed that takes the palm in less time than it normally takes. He planted 2,600 trees in Maria la Baja, Bolivar , and is awaiting the results. He also got into coffee, but that business was unsuccessful and his newest venture is in the making in the country of herbal medicinal marijuana.
The idea comes from his work as a commission , for there he negotiated and partnered with the laboratories of products derived from marijuana , whose actions have shown high profitability and are fired from January this year, when the recreational use of cannabis was legalized two US states.
"In 2009, when I started talking about it with here friends in Colombia , was not even the possibility and also were in the government Uribe, now things have changed and internationally the issue is more accepted ," says Field, who nevertheless has been transforming your idea after meeting with lawyers and national experts.
Initially wanted to ask permission to grow marijuana , find the best varieties and transform them into drugs for diseases such as cancer or arthritis , whose therapeutic efficacy has already been proven. However , the fact becomes almost impossible to cultivate joint licensing of Narcotics and ICA , so now the plan is to import oil or syrup that pulls out marijuana legally and whose removal makes the University of Mississippi , because it has federal permit.
" As soon as they certify me that I can buy the raw material to bring it to Colombia , I will request permission from Invima and do what they do with Coca -Cola , as its base or secret formula here is imported and becomes the gas , "he adds
His plan is to work with laboratory paisa Farmatech that maquilaría products for New Colombia Resources and initially would topical medications , especially for skin cancer, using the parameters of the FDA, the food and drug agency US the final goal is to export drugs.
Topic patent
And why give so much back if already in the United States is grown and can do the processing for converting medical cannabis ? The answer is to make the field of manufacturing laboratory is cheaper in Colombia and also sees a business opportunity in US law. "There is discord between the federal government, for which marijuana is illegal , and more than 22 states that have passed their medicinal use. That makes it easier to get international patents before American companies , because they only are allowed in some states. Where and how the federal government seeks to regulate the issue , and would we Colombians of patents " he says.
Your new business idea coincides with the project settled Senator Juan Manuel Galán in the First Committee to allow the medical use of marijuana in the country. Although the proposal was immediately rejected by the Church , has the support of several political parties and opposition congressmen like Jose Obdulio Gaviria, the Democratic Centre , who in a virtual conference organized by Weather expressed support for the idea.
As this bill would amend Article 49 of the Constitution , which refers to the guarantee of access to services that help the promotion, protection and recovery of health , this Act will require eight debates in Congress. However , its promoters first want to forums and air the issue before starting the legislative process. With this , cultivation , research and production of medicines derived from marijuana would be allowed , as it wants to make New Colombia Resources.
Campo know will not be fast and that the law is critical to your business, but at age 43 say they have time to wait for Colombia into the same legal parameter against marijuana apply more countries. And also have time to wait for their coal shipments from Guaduas not have to go by truck , as initially should do , but by the Magdalena River. " When all this start , I'll be the first to be there," he says in Spanish and coastal accent perfect.
The next oil rush will be cannabis oil for medical use and the winner will be the nation of Colombia

New Colombia Resources Inc., Subsidiary, Sannabis, to Approach United Nations for Assistance in Developing Hemp Plantations on Colombian Indian Reservations
CALI, CO--(Marketwired - Jan 8, 2015) - New Colombia Resources, Inc. (OTCQB: NEWC) ("New Colombia or the Company"), a U.S. company with coal and other resource assets in Colombia, through its subsidiary Sannabis SAS ("Sannabis"), is approaching the United Nations for assistance in developing a sustainable hemp industry on Indian reservations in Colombia.
Sannabis has been producing marijuana based medicines on Indian reservations in Colombia for over 2 years. They are planting their first hemp fields that will be fully grown in four months. Their Páez/NasaTribe partners make many hemp products by hand and are anxious to create a mechanized sustainable hemp industry. With assistance of local government and the extension of programs currently in place to assist in the development of economic opportunity for Indigenous Tribes, Sannabis is approaching the United Nations. The goal is to assist Native Americans in Colombia to create a hemp industry on their reservations. As Colombia continues its fight against illicit drug production, Sannabis believes hemp is one of the best alternative crops due to favorable economics and sustainability.
Hemp can be used to restore depleted soils; studies show that hemp is a "mop" crop on soils that have been heavily damaged by chemical use. U.S. supported drug eradication programs have damaged thousands of acres that need to be restored. Industrial hemp is being recognized by governments around the world as being an ecologically friendly crop; Sannabis has begun an aggressive campaign to initiate industrial scale hemp plantations in all parts of Colombia, starting with autonomous Indian reservations located near current company operations.
Sannabis has been working with European hemp industrialists to develop manufacturing techniques for hemp bricks in Colombia to be used for affordable housing on and off the reservations and for export. Sannabis can grow enough hemp for a house on one hectare in four months. France has been growing and building with hemp for 50 years, although this market is growing fast, it is being held back mainly by lack of supply. Through partnerships and joint ventures, Sannabis aims to become a force in the U.S. hemp market. Oils and other products derived from Hemp grown on these reservations are already being used in cosmetics and consumables and also may be used to manufacture paper, textiles, and plastics.

New Colombia Resources Inc. Subsidiary, Sannabis SAS, Receives Approval to Produce Medical Marijuana Products on Colombian Indian Reservation
CALI, COLOMBIA, Jan 07, 2015 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- New Colombia Resources, Inc. (NEWC) ("New Colombia or the Company") (OTCQB: NEWC), a U.S. company with coal and other resource assets in Colombia, through its subsidiary Sannabis SAS ("Sannabis"), is pleased to announce the Governor's approval of a medical marijuana operation on the Toez Indian Reservation in Colombia. This consent was given with the objective to "cultivate, transform, and commercialize licit products and traditional and ancestral medicines derived from the sacred cannabis plant with the objective to generate employment within the reservation..."
New Colombia has been developing cannabis operations through its subsidiary, Sannabis SAS, in joint venture with members of the Toez Indian chapter of the Nasa Tribe of Colombia. Tribes in this area have been developing medicines from the sacred cannabis plant for generations. Sannabis is working with these reservations to establish a sustainable medical marijuana and industrial hemp industry. Along with its greenhouse facility, construction of a laboratory to process cannabis into medicines is near completion. Juan Pablo Guzman, President of Sannabis SAS, has been developing cannabis-based medicine for over two years with Toez partners. He has been a leader in Colombia's medical cannabis movement for over 18 years.
In Colombia it is legal for autonomous indigenous societies to grow marijuana and produce medical products on their reservations and it is currently illegal to grow marijuana outside of Indian reservations. A bill was introduced in the Senate last year to regulate medical marijuana, a recent poll showed 60% approval among the population. A second debate in the Senate is scheduled for March.
Sannabis will be hosting a delegation from the Colombian Senate at their facilities in March and will also extend invitations to a number of politicians from Florida. The company will invite representatives from Indian reservations in Florida to discuss the viability of importing medical marijuana products to their reservations from Colombia.
The company is currently selling products locally to patients and can't keep up with the demand due to the relief these products provide. Media coverage in Colombia has proven favorable and is expected to perpetuate during the next medical marijuana debate scheduled for March. Sannabis, along with patients, were interviewed by the AP for a story to be released during the next debate. For product details visit their website under construction www.sannabis.co.
Sannabis S.A.S. operates as a subsidiary of New Colombia Resources and has joint venture operations with members of the Nasa Indian Nation. Sannabis is a commercial and social initiative that is creating a new Hemp and medical Cannabis Industry in Colombia. Sannabis is documenting patient outcomes to prepare for possible clinical studies to eventually support an FDA and INVIMA application for a pharmaceutical grade product.

Updates Mining Operations
New Colombia Resources Inc. Updates Mining Operations.
World leading laboratory is analyzing Rock Phosphate samples
GUADUAS, Colombia, Dec. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- New Colombia Resources, Inc. (OTCQB: NEWC) ("New Colombia or the Company"), a U.S. company with coal and other resource assets in Colombia, is pleased to update shareholders on the progress of their mining operations. New Colombia has completed construction of two 27-foot trailers making their quarry equipment mobile. The equipment is scheduled to be mounted on the trailers in the next two week and installed at the company's mine site. The company's environmental license is in the evaluation phase and expected to be approved next month. In the next few weeks New Colombia is setting up its 1000 cubic meter per day rock quarry on their property.
New Colombia is extremely pleased the Colombian economy grew 4.3% in the Q3, the highest in Latin America. This growth was attributed to a 14.1% increase in construction and 11.1% increase in public works. The strong growth in the construction market increases the need for raw building materials from New Colombia's quarry. Additionally, the final leg of the Ruta del Sol highway has begun between Bogota' and Guaduas. New Colombia's quarry and mining properties are 3 km from the Ruta del Sol and 11 km from National Highway I-50, which is also slated for rehabilitation. Upon approval of their environmental license the Company will sign supply contracts with local road and building contractors.
In addition to the gravel operation, the Company's rock phosphate samples are being evaluated by SGS, a world leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. Once the results are returned NEWC plans to enter into a sales contract with interested buyers.
John Campo, President, stated, "Our management is working closely with the agency handling the licensing and permit approval process for our build out and mining operations. With current growth rates, Colombia is going through growing pains that have caused delays at government agencies. Recent meetings at the environmental agency have resulted in gaining priority status for our license as we have a town full of people waiting to work and many more construction contractors in need of a continuing supply of road building supplies. We are building a business for the lifetime that we will be able to capitalize on our assets. We do not believe that a few extra months to solidifying NEWC's reputation as a good corporate and humanitarian citizen in this rural part of the Colombia will effect the achievement of our goal of building shareholder values."

Company assets increased by 93% and payables decreased by 60%
BOGOTA, Colombia, Nov. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- New Colombia Resources, Inc. (OTCQB: NEWC) ("New Colombia or the Company"), a U.S. company with coal and other resource assets in Colombia, released their financial results for the third quarter of 2014. The Company is pleased to announce an increase in Assets of over 93% compared to December 31, 2013. Accounts payables decreased by 60%, including an 83% decrease in payables to related parties. The decrease in related party and unrelated party payables was offset by an increase in notes that cannot be converted for six months and help provide needed working capital. New Colombia also paid off two convertible notes in order to reduce potential share dilution to maintain shareholder value. The Company plans to significantly reduce their liabilities and increase their assets in the current quarter.
New Colombia Resources has been in preliminary negotiations with coal buyers in the U.S. and with rock and phosphate buyers in Colombia. These negotiations have allowed New Colombia to evaluate the best plan of action for establishing long term sales agreements for the Company's production. Because of mine closures in the United States, there is increased interest from buyers to import New Colombia's high quality coal to the Gulf Coast. U.S coal imports from Colombia have increased by 45% this year, 74% of coal imports to the Gulf Coast are from Colombia.
John Campo, President stated, "I've have been contacted by three of the biggest coal companies in the U.S. and one of the largest commodity traders in Europe, I'm very confident we'll be able to secure contracts, off take agreements, and/or partnerships in the near future".
New Colombia's pending environmental license to allow for full operations has generated no comments or request for additional information from the environmental agency. The company expects no issues with the environmental license other than normal delays caused by short staffing at the agency. Company officers will be visiting the agency on November 21.
Contractors have completed building two 27-foot custom trailers for New Colombia's crushing plant. Once the crushing plant is installed onsite and the environmental license issued, the Company will begin to generate revenue based on purchase agreements. In addition to using independent machine operators, the company is inspecting earth moving equipment in Colombia for purchase. The value of U.S dollar vs. the Colombian peso (COP) has increased over 10% in the past few months which gives the Company more purchasing power.
New Colombia Resources has identified several public vehicles for the spinoff of their Sannabis S.A.S subsidiary. Further information will be provided in due time. ...
John Campo is telling the truth or not . I think "yes".
