That last post you sent indicates the SEC is not a part of this, but FINRA. The SEC essentially absolves any responsibility for ARIOQ listing. I saw that email a couple of months ago if not longer. It still is not resolved. If no authoritative person (Robins, Hofmeister) does not pursue this with FINRA, it will likely always trade. Again, I think they already notified FINRA nearly a year ago. It would be shirking their responsibility not to.

I expect nothing to change. Trade on, ARIOQ investors.

So,

it is either due to ineptness with not filing correct paperwork with FINRA or the SEC let it slide. I can go with the latter than the former, but even then, I find either case hard to swallow. I have traded hundreds of junk stock over the years and know the SEC doesn't fool around with companies' solvency or extended use of stock symbols.

Let it keep on trading until it pops big.

I believe it has already been filed with FINRA and the BK is closed. I don't believe there are any loose ends. If there are, the post-BK is beyond being handled unprofessionally. It was handled by teenagers. But then again, I don't believe there are any loose ends.

Like I said, this whole thing should not have slipped through the cracks. I don't think it did. Something happened that no one understands yet. That is where I come from. Hofmeister was paid well to take of loose ends like this. Robins did have multiple BKs to worry about, but one. Like I said, I don't expect anything to change.

From what you received, it would appear like someone has not sent off the closing paperwork. That would be Hofmeister. But, there has been such a stink raised not only on this message board but with Hofmeister and Robins, that I doubt Hofmeister did not drop the ball.

It would seem with everything done that should be done, this stock will endlessly trade. All trades are final. My first thought would be the SEC coming after a seller months, even years after it was found out that the trading is illegitimate. But, that the SEC would allow this to go on, tells me all trading is legal.

So, "Trade on, buyers and sellers."

I know you are. I have read your posts.

I got no information from broker. That will be the last time I ask them. I will try calling Robbins again and see if he can give me an explanation that differs from a year ago.

Personally, I am expecting the price to change from 0.0001 to at least 0.0002 one of these days, one of these hours. About a month ago someone did buy 5000 shares at 0.001, a 10X jump. So, the spike could happen at any time, and legally, at that.

Every trade is a matched trade

You cannot buy 100 shares of a stock unless someone is willing to sell their 100 shares. If there are not enough shares that you want to buy, then the price (the next seller lot) will go up.

That makes no sense at all.

No one would try to buy up shares then hope they could sell them at the same price to make it look active. The risk is too high, way too high. If that were the case, the person who sent $450 to trade today would have little or no likelihood in getting back their $450 because of the huge outstanding shares out there.

I cannot believe FINRA and the SEC could have this wrong for so long.

There can be nothing crooked about this and Robins is not lying. This stock has successfully traded and so should be considered a viable stock and stock symbol. I am calling my broker at this time to discuss all this but I believe nothing will be learned but that the stock is still tradeable.

Yes, he told me they were canceled. True.

I believe he is like all of us, not knowing why the trading continues. I didn't believe he was lying then nor do I believe it now. Someone posted an article months ago that basically said "if it trades then let it trade." It is what it is and no one on this message board can deny it. Not even you. Now we have had 87.5M shares bought in the last 2 months. Let the buyers scoop them up.

For a dead stock nearly a year ago, volume is growing. People don't keep buying up shares just to waste money. Like many here believe, something is going on that the shares have not been canceled. Could be blue skies ahead.

This answers the big question - Why is ARIOQ still trading?

From SEC.gov, here is their reply,

"Even when a company is no longer in business, there may still be active trading in its stock. This is because companies that are no longer operating may still have outstanding registered stock, which can be traded until the company has the shares deregistered or the stock's registration is revoked. The SEC does not have a rule that prohibits the trading of stock once a company becomes defunct because it does not want to forbid transactions between willing buyers and sellers, including those holding shares in defunct companies"

It's quite simple, if traders want to buy and sell shares of a defunct company, then the SEC says "Have at it. We don't care." If anyone questions that, look at ARIOQ. It is living proof and is staring those who deny it right in the face. The stock, bankrupt and shares that were supposed to be canceled, is still trading. And people are making money. The SEC's response is, "Go ahead!"

I will rain on your parade, though I definitely appreciate your optimism. Robins distinctly told me all shares are canceled. When this will take place is even beyond his knowledge. He likely has no broker's license and is likely not part of the SEC, but he intimated that it is possible trades being conducted now may not be even legitimate trades. After all, if legally the shares have been canceled, what is reality of the shares being bought and sold today?

I have been "all in" as you know, arguing profusely with and for shareholders. But if the shares are legally canceled, then what is being traded is a legitimate question. And the future of my shares and your shares is bleak, at best.

That is where it stands. I do not understand why Robins would lie to me. It all fits with the Order.

My brokerage account still shows my millions of shares I am holding. If this stock can move in this window of transiency, there could be lots of money to be made.

I have to say that your mentioning me as a moderator tells me I should not be posting the phone call because 1) it was not good news for the company shareholders and 2) it didn't meet your expectations.

My take on his chuckle

I don't believe he was chuckling at shareholders' still investing. I believe he was chuckling that the whole stock trading system make no sense. In other words, "The court case is closed. And the SEC is still allowing this stock to be traded?" That is where i think he was coming from.

I have been in this stock for several years. I have invested dollars in this company way before it went BK. Believe me, I would never make up a phone conversation, especially one that runs contrary to where I want to be in terms of making a profit. I have a kid in college. My job was eliminated 3 months ago. My son will likely go to college a year from now. And you think I might be making all this up? Never!

From Robins' own words, it is done. But that doesn't mean the stock cannot trade until it is delisted. To me, those who don't know all the facts, might be buying shares and running up a false market. That is what is left, but it can happen. We saw 20M shares bought the other day. Perhaps a half a billion shares will change hands. Crazier things have happened. In the mean time, if it happens, Robins will do as he did with me, have a good chuckle.

Someone asked me about this as well. I was honestly shocked when he called back after I hung up on his voice mail. Very easy guy to talk to. I ultimately found out what I wanted to know. I certainly don't care about buying new shares when the first go-round turned into a BK.

That's what he told me.

I just talked to Robins, personally.

As you know, I left no voice mail. But he called me back anyway. He was very polite and I enjoyed talking to him. He said all shares have been canceled. I told him it is still trading and, in fact, someone bought 20M shares the other day. He had a good laugh. He doesn't know why the stock still trades and the symbol is still there, active. He told me twice the shares have all been canceled. It was clear he does not know exactly how the entire process works for a canceled stock. He said that FINRA has nothing to do with canceling a stock symbol. He said even after the shares of a stock are canceled, the stock symbol can still be active and the shares still traded. He said something to the affect that the shares now being traded are not real (probably because legally they have been canceled).

I didn't know what else to ask him. To him, it is truly a closed case and there is nothing more to talk about past shareholders. DONE! If something is not clear, please ask me.

Because I am telling exactly what he told me, I would park this particular message for future reference.
