NES owns 40,000,000 shares of UGSI. One of the main reasons why I own NES-- Andy Siedel, board member of NES, is CEO of UGSI. Dick Heckmann and Andy used to work together at US Water Filter. Huge success story years ago.if UGSI goes up, NES should also. UGSI close to 52-week high!
Why is this stock acting like death? I love the story. As you recall, company mentioned after their last quarter, that this is a "second half of the year story". It is now 2nd half!! Lets go!
No reason to get too excited...I remember buying some (small) at $0.59 10 + years ago. Remember, Andy and insiders own their stock at $0.08! -- just wondering why NES keeps going down, although this entity (Hekmann) owns over 40,000,000 shares. Any thoughts?
This lack of update letter tells me something is going on! Very unusual that there has been pure quiet!
Company presenting at Goldman Sachs conference June 11th. Buy stock in quantity NOW! $20 stock by end of July!
Still no update from Andy...is something going on?
Of course, when the stock hits $1.00 and I arrange to meet all the exceptional characters on this site at the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas, each of you will be able to order the specialty pizza of your choice!
I'll take the Obamination bet, however only if we set a June 30 deadline and that volume on that date (it hits either of our numbers), is at least 10,000 shares. Ok?
California legislators will be voting against fracking...how idiotic!
Hope you are right kettleman...I've been so frustrated with this stock.
I bet you, sewer dog a medium dominos pizza, that UGSI closes at 0.15 before 0.19. Absolutely nothing going on at the company other than Andy probably on vacation! The most boring stock in the universe!
Sewer dog--I've warned you about drinking too early in the afternoon!
Andy, please update your loyal shareholders!
Hi HEK lovers!
See UGSI posts for discussions on HEK... (HEK owns 7.5% of UGSI)
Obamination--excellent points! My takeaways: Aqua America successes are related to the many smart acquisitions they have had over the years in a fragmented industry where there are a ton of small players (Andy knows how to do acquisitions based on his US Filter days, and he has made a couple strategic acquisitions the past year or two). Aqua America has recently gotten into the fracking business. HEK (owner of 7.5% of UGSI has Andy as a board member), is a leader in the fracking business. Lots of coincidences here...just wonder what the long term plan is...and when!
Unique company, unique stock. See who largest shareholder is? Wynnefield capital, NYC. Great track record for long-term success. Very cheap stock with great value!
global hunter comes out and changes rating to sell from neutral with price target of $2.50 + HEK mgmt presents at wunderlich securities conference in New Orleans on Monday next week (that firm just initiated coverage with a neutral)
Bought a slug of this stock on the announcement of shelf. This and GNMK, 2 of my largest holdings.
Read everything here, my friends...then tell me 2 things that stand out!

H2ODan...We feel your pain! And speaking for all of us long-term shareholders, all we can do is have patience and know that Andy's track record speaks for itself. UGSI is by far my largest holding...I've owned it before Andy came on board.
Andy, please give us an update in more than 1 page...don't be shy...here's some things your valued shareholders would love to hear about: revenues (give us a range); cash flow/balance sheet, employee count, insider/closely held share count, capex plans, 2-5 year plan for company...how 'bout it Andy?
Bellagio on me!
Good discussions recently! Lets keep this going from time to time. Company employees being paid well. Salespeople there make 150 to 250k per yr. The big bucks are in the restrictive stock and options the employees own. Big stuff! When Andy decides when to IPO, we'll be in heaven. Am I clear, my friends? Remember Vegas, my friends. I'll be wining and dining everyone!
Lousy numbers...$3.50 target might be too high.
Shareholder value! Yes, I did notice that sentence in Andy's last letter. Why not throw us a penny or two special dividend? We deserve it!
$4.50 or $3.50 on may 15th? How 'bout some guesses on this board?
Andy letter?????
Thanks for the encouragement and comments. Since Andy is a relatively young man, I should just think of holding on to this stock for the next 10 years. Andy will then be somewhat close to retirement and he may wish to cash in by selling at $0.24 which would be a triple from his original cost basis of $0.08 :). In the meantime, I've been buying HEK, and losing money as it continues to drift lower.
Another normal regular week for the most boring inactive stock in the universe. Please tell me again on why my money has been tied up in this POS for 10 years ++?
Impressive! Thanks
Biobum. where is cyclical trader? He was always vocal on NVDQ and GNMK?
Fabulous story...just like GNMK!

Here's the article in a different format. Regards, Fred!
BREAKOUT!!
Very interesting article regarding "earthquake resistant pipe". See article today in wall street journal.

Frustration continues...as markets hit another all-time high, our POS continues to do nothing.
Sewer dog...loved the old mark smith article. UGSI sure has come a long way from when he was in charge!
Whenever I get re-excited about this name, I'm reminded what an idiot Dick Heckmann is when he bought the china water company. HEK is lucky it only had to settle small in a lawsuit (news today).
Cynical trader...where are you? News is I heard a large hedge fund has initiated a position recently...not through buying!
