Yes, I'd assume Stan is talking about the new digital media guru, Michael Eisner, the former chairman of Disney, in this update report, Jack. The next thing you know, Stan will be having lunch with Donald Trump again and might convince him to take a stake in POW. Our Generalissimo rubs shoulders with many of the titans of finance and entertainment. We're bound to benefit from that!
How about the POW movie in association with that Chinese film company that Stan promised to announce sometime this fall? We should be hearing something about that any day now. He also said that a major movie studio had signed a contract for a POW film that just needed a director and script writer. POW is getting revenues from several other sources too. We could get a decent earnings report in early November. Where have all the POW traders gone. Gone to the Big Board, every one. But not for long!
The History Channel is very popular and has a great mix of interesting shows. I'm sure they'll promote Super Humans bigtime and POW should get some significant revenues from the series which is now under their banner!
Great premier TV episode of Super Humans! It should be a real hit series again this year. I see POW Entertainment in the final credits, unlike last year when it only showed Marvel. We should be in the money with this fantastic TV hit show!
Me too, Jack. POW is really getting aggressive in informing their investors of new developments by email. I seem to get several updates a week now. That was a great interview on the business channel today! Stan was introduced as the head of POW Entertaiment and he looked better than ever on the air. I have a good feeling about the months ahead!
It does look like Stan is coming on strong to move the ticker to the upside again, Muley. This alliance with Mike Eisner shows that he means business and POW is still very much a going concern! I hope his interview on FOX Business Channel today will jumpstart our stock which has been on life support recently. There's no reason it should be trading under 20 cents whatsoever! I think we'll see 30 or more by the end of 2011 when the China movie deal has been announced. We'll get a boost from the huge publicity POW will receive in early 2012 when the NHL Guardian Project goes into full operation. We could even get a good earnings report in early November for all you know.
Yes, the stage is being set for a POWerful explosion in the price of our little pinkie! Now is the time to buy! Or you'll have to catch it on the fly.
Good news for POW! Eisner has huge connections to Disney as does Stan. No doubt Disney will be jumping in for a larger share of the POW pie before anyone else slices it up. Only positive things will come from this new venture!
Oh, what does the future of POW hold?
It's weight in sterling silver if not its weight in gold!
Thanks for sending this great Romeo and Juliet trailer, Jack! It was really cool. The first POW posting in 4 days on the hub. I was about to inquire: Wherefore art thou, or something like that! It would be nice to see some trades pretty soon. Looks like our trip to da moon turned into a swoon. Our day will come but the waiting can be grating on your nerves. To be or not to be in POW is not the question. We're here and we're not going away until we get our well deserved pay! Stan won't let us down but I hope he lifts us up with some news we can use. Not folding. Still holding.
Not a bad close today though POW shares sold outnumbered POW shares bought by 12 to 1. POW does seem to be trending upwards and Barchart moved it from a strong sell to a hold this week. We could be close to a true rally so hold onto your shares and to your seats! Get ready for a ride to the wild side!
Thanks, FoxM. I do have a comic streak in me. Too bad it's not a comic strip! I also see at least one movie deal being announced very soon and a fair amount of revenue for POW from the Guardian Project in early 2012. POW is just getting started. Stan wants to cash in his chips before he's too old to enjoy the vast riches he could get from a Disney buyout. That's why I think POW will be incorporated into the Magic Kingdom Empire in the next couple years at most. We're trading close to 15 cents today and who knows what tomorrow holds in store for us? Now I sound like Stan. He's full of blarney but he's not just whistling Dixie when he talks about the pot o gold we're all in store for. Good things come to those who wait! Just ask any waitress.
There was just an order completed for POW for 50,000 shares at 10 cents. Since it was at the bid, it should have been a sell order. Foxy1, did you snag some of those shares off at a dime? You lucky dog you if you did! I would have tried doing that too if I wasn't penniless after investing most of my savings in this little future gold mine. If someone did sell so many shares at 10 cents, that person was either very desperate for cash or totally insane. We finally were making headway with buy orders at 14.9 cents and a low for the day at 12 cents. Who on earth would sell then at a dime? I think you outfoxed the MM and raided the hen house all on your own! That's my theory anyway and I'm sticking to it.
Yes, my forecasts for POW have been worse than the average weatherman but I still see sunny skies for POW after the storm clouds finally clear out of the way. I'm praying for that every day!
I think we're at a 2 month high today at 14.5 cents a share on the last few trades. With a little volume we could get back in business.
POW is pathetically underpriced for a company with so many projects in play. It's not your grandfather's stinkie pinkie! I smell a movie deal announcement coming soon. Anyone else got the scent?
Nice find indeed, H20K9! More good publicity for POW. Stan should put out a PR about this award on the stock site. He has so many projects in his quiver. Now's the time to really deliver!
It's nice to see Stan and Gill putting out a press release about the two great POW projects they highlighted at the New York Comic Con last weekend! Let's hope this generates some excitement. POW needs to get all the publicity it can so investors will still see it as a vital company with a bright future. We know that is true but the whole world needs to know that! Kudos to Stan for keeping the dream alive! He'll be appearing soon at other Comic Cons where he'll no doubt have much more to say about the POW movie projects that are being developed on several fronts.
I'm also a bit frustrated with the speed of POW's management in nailing down a significant movie deal or other project that would get the investor world excited about our company. We can all hope that things turn around soon and I'm sure that Stan and his staff read our comments here on Investor's Hub. They know that the natives are restless and it's time to get something going in a hurry. I wonder why there's been so much selling right during the past few Comic Cons. No one should sell when there's hope of important news being announced. Let's pray that Stan mentions POW early and often this weekend when the ears of thousands of convention goers are glued to every word he says!
POW is now at its lowest price since 2009, before the Disney buy-in. The company has never been more solvent or in a better position for success. The PPS is 2/3rd down from the high in July of this year. None of this makes sense. Maybe 10 cents. We traded less than 10,000 shares the entire past 4 trading days and we're up to 170,000 just today. Unfortunately, the stock price is going down, just when Stan is touting many positive POW projects at the second biggest Comic Con in the US. Someone must be manipulating the shares lower for some reason. This is an artificially low PPS for a company with a bright future whose chairman's comic characters have generated billions of dollars for major studios in the past few years. I think some smart money is buying POW shares today and those traders will reap great rewards on a soon to come tomorrow!
Exactly, Niner! When you hear the most nay nay, nays, you're soon bound to hear some hearty yeah, yeah, yeahs! Last year we traded in the high 20s at this time and went into the 30s after the NY Comic Con. I expect a good bump from this weekend's doings and hope that Stan wears a POW baseball hat as he signs hundreds of autographs there. He's gotta go to bat for us brigadiers and show that he's still the Generalissimo of this outfit. GO POW and let's GO NOW!
Stan hasn't scammed anyone out of their money. We all used our own free will and judgement to buy POW shares over the years. Some people made tens of thousands of dollars in profits in 2010 investing in POW. I sold some of my shares that year when the price was in the 70s but kept most of my POW portfolio. In hindsight, I wish I had sold all my shares when the price was so high. I've bought back in along the way and now my average price to break even is 24 1/2 cents. Most of the profits I made are gone.
All of us are frustrated at the low price of POW shares but anyone with a brain can see that they are grossly undervalued today. If you buy POW now at 12 cents, your chances of making a big profit on your investment are extremely high!
No, Stan hasn't scammed a single soul and he and his staff have made huge progress in advancing the company's prospects. POW will be very profitable in the not so distant future. Jump in now and buy more shares while the gettins good or forever hold your little piece of the pie!
Right on, Jack! I so well remember when we went months at 5 to 7 cents a share for POW and then came the Disney deal with a pop to 26 cents in January 2010. We then climbed to 87 cents by April and held up pretty well for months after that. It's only been in recent months that we've dropped below 20 cents for any period of time. POW is ridiculously low in price today and will skyrocket once again. It's just as foolish not be buy POW now at 12 cents, as it was not to buy it at a nickel in 2009! Probably even more foolish since we're at the goal line right now, ready to score some serious profits. To the winners go the spoils. And spoils from POW will make us look like royals not very far from now!
Let's just see who's right about this. Time will tell the tale of the tape. By the end of this year, we'll be in good shape.
That's a bunch of hooey! POW is bargain basement priced right now and will multiple in value very soon when movie deals are announced and the NHL Guardian Project goes into high gear. The stock hit 30 cents in July and there's no reason it should have sold off since then. It may have been overpriced last year at 87 cents but it's hugely underpriced at the present 11 cents level. The naysayers are trying to drag POW's price down though even they know its potential is enormous. Buy now or cry later.
We used to have several days in a row when no POW shares were traded back in 2009, before Disney bought 10% of the company. This is the most lackluster trading we've had since then. It doesn't make sense that we're at 11 to 12 cents on the stock with the NY Comic Con beginning on Friday. So many positive things have occurred in the past year and a half and still there's so little interest in POW. I loaded up again at 14 1/2 cents, thinking that would be the very low for 2011. I'd still buy a ton more at 12 cents if I had the funds to do so. POW's stock price today will look like an amazing bargain in the near future. I know that sounds redundant but I believe it's true.
I hope the people of India like comic superheroes too! Stan could really open up a big market there! Next weekend should be interesting if Stan can spring a fall surprise on us.
Thanks for the link. I was able to see the interview but it was done before the Arnold deal fell through. I hope we get a lot of publicity out of Stan's appearance at the NY Comic Con. If he hams it up enough, that'll bring home the bacon to the rest of us!
I don't see any link showing Stan talking about future projects, Riverdog. Could you provide the link to us? Thanks. One more week and Stan will be center stage at the NY Comic Con! I hope he makes a lot of hay while he's there. He's had his hand to the plow for a long time and he should be ready to furrow the field.
I agree with you, Hamptons, that the guy who sold 70,000 shares of POW at 11 cents today will live to regret it. That's almost like selling gold bullion at $300 an ounce about 8 years ago. It went up 600% since that time and POW will quadruple or better in the year to come. Maybe in the months to come with any luck. Give my regards to Broadway and to Stan if you see him at the big show next week. It should be a real THRILLER!
That ambulance chasing lawsuit has no legs and I doubt that is keeping anyone from investing in POW. It's true that POW relies on outside funding to finance most of its ventures but that's a smart way to operate at this time. Stan and and the boys have more pots on the burners than the Galloping Gourmet and we'll soon be feasting on the work of their hands. I'm disappointed at the PPS like anyone else but this stock is incredibly oversold. Disney could buy the whole kit and kaboodle for a song right now and whistle a happy tune all the way to the Magic Kingdom. I hope we hear some good news a week from now at the New York Comic Con. Stan can send a POWerful message to investors from that forum in the media capital of the world! Our day will come. Just wait and see.
The price of POW's stock today is just a couple cents above where it was before Disney took a 10% stake in the company on the first trading day of 2010.
Since that time, POW has announced many deals and partnerships regarding popular superhero cartoons, the MTV and the Romeo and Juliet projects, the Yoshiki collaboration, and the NHL Guardian Project, among others. POW is fully reporting and even made a small profit for the first 6 months of 2011. Stan has appeared on some popular TV business programs and had a hit TV series with Super Humans which is filming its second season right now.
All this progress and movie deals that are close to fruition, including one to be announced soon with China. And still the PPS is lower than anytime since 2009! Does this make any sense to anyone out there? It sure doesn't to me.
Stupid is as stupid does. Not buying POW at this low price is more stupid than stupid ever was. We won't be a bargain basement stock for long! Hold on and hold on strong!
It looks like the LA Comic Con has been cancelled for some reason. They're replacing it with a California Comicaze Expo on November. Maybe Stan will appear at that event since he was scheduled to be at the LA venue. Who's selling these big blocks of POW shares I wonder? Someone dumped 67,000 at 12 cents this morning. Maybe they bought in at 14 cents and found a hotter pinkie to buy. Anyone selling at 12 cents today is probably going to regret doing so. POW is worth a whole lot more and the stock price will reflect that in the time to come. IMO, of course. I pray that my opinion is correct.
NBC will probably pay off that company with a small settlement if there is any validity to the lawsuit. They won't allow this to derail using Stan's name on their NHL Superhero project when they plan to spend millions promoting it.
POW is the best stock bargain on the market, Hamptons! I hope your buddies get in before it lifts off the launch pad. It won't stay around a dime in value for long. We could be back in business in October when Stan makes some important announcements at the LA and NY Comic Cons. Get ready to rumble!
I believe that is the case quite truly, Muley. Stan's gotta breathe some life back into POW at the LA and NY Comic Cons he will be attending in October. Otherwise, it could be a long winter of discontent for us true believers. Something's cookin on the burner but we'll just have to wait for the proof of the puddin.
We need POW to take off like a jet plane too! Stan, give us some good news. Whads a madder with you! I'm sure he'll soon come through with flying colors.
We finally had more buy orders for POW today than sell orders. There was just one trade to sell the stock but 85% of the volume today consisted of buy orders. Great way to close the week!
POW is the breakfast of Champion, Lee, and Lieberman. It might look like a bowl of mush right now but will taste like French toast in the finest Paris hotel after those boys get done with it! They've got something cookin and it'll be hot off the griddle before you know it.
POW has more potential now than at any other time since it was created, Sunday. It's the best time to purchase shares in the company since 2010 and will probably be remembered as one of the best buying opportunities you'll ever see. Things look dismal now but that's the time to buy-when the price is low and the potential for gains is sky high!
Absolutely right, RD! Things will just get better and better for POW as time goes on. When POW gets on the radar of the investment world again like it did last year, we'll have lots of fun watching the stock price double, triple and quadruple, perhaps in the same trading day! The sellers must be dog tired and the buyers are set to take the stage. Jack is right that, when Disney bought their 10% stake in POW for around 20 cents a share almost 2 years ago, there was far less on the drawing board. Now, POW has a large host of projects in its portfolio. The best days for POW are yet to come. Jump on board while you still can at this incredibly low stock price!
I wonder if even Stan himself knows what POW is worth in cash today if he was to liquidate the company, Sunday. He would have to sell off his interests in the projects he's involved in and the rights to the many comic characters he's created since leaving Marvel. POW has cash advances in the bank and some revenue streams coming in but it's hard to put a price tag on all of his multiple ventures. I'm just sure that the share price of POW today is only a fraction of what it will be in the next year. We've just got to hold on tight to the shares we own and buy the cheapies like crazy when we can. That time is NOW! GO POW!!!
