Great one MC! Well played.
b
It is amazing MC...and what is quite astounding to think about is that when we do hear about an STv2 deal (and I still am hopeful that we will), it will seem trivial relative to this new development.
So what do we have here folks?
Joint-venture revenues
STv2 revenues
141 royalties/profits
Three promising sources of (near) future revenue, imo.
The shareholder meeting ought to be quite fascinating.
All my hopeful opinions only.
b
Airdale, as I read that article and as I continue to digest the information unveiled today, I am awe-struck at the development. Like MC, I think it will take me the better part of a long wknd to really understand what is transpiring here...but this I know: we have seen the iceberg. The iceberg is bigger than I imagined.
A "big deal" in my mind before today would have been something like a license agreement with a moderately sized trading firm in Chicago. That pales in comparison, imo, to what we have been shown today.
The following quote cannot be understated:
"The Spooz mission is to unite the global trading world under a universal standard for market analysis, decision support, systems development, position management and electronic trade execution.”
Paul D. Strickland Jr., CEO
Is it sinking it yet folks?
Do we see what is unfolding before our very eyes?
This is about to get crazy, imo.
b
Well said Allie! Folks, please read Allie's post if you don't understand the basics of options...it is imperative to seeing the importance of today's nooz. IMO
b
Quite the contrary, imo, Hard. STv2 will be what powers the "new paradigm" with this new partner. Without STv2, SBF has no technology to cause them to be interested in Spooz.
With respect, you ought to wise up Hard...you couldn't be further off base, imo.
Again, with respect. Best of luck to you.
b
Interesting Allie...
"...Symbol Management Clearing Corporation (SMCC) was established in August of 2007"
Wasn't last year August about the time we heard about "tip of the iceberg" and "monumental news"?
Love it when a plan comes together...
b
high volume early...let's see if it holds or even grows as the day goes on
i think it was allie who yesterday said that nooz today would mean folks would chew on it over the wknd and then the keg blows up on Tuesday...hopefully it does then if not today...but this is looking good imo.
Uplist would be a mighty nice PR right about now, too...
b
Anybody seen that iceberg lately? lol...
b
From paragraph 3 of the PR today:
"This will also allow for the creation of synthetic products to which new symbols may be assigned, such as spreads, baskets, and combinations. The new electronic system will replace the antiquated manual processes and is expected to save the exchanges and the industry millions of dollars."
We've all heard Paul and co. mention synthetics over the past 12 mos...low and behold...look where this is heading
And don't overlook the "save...millions of dollars" blurb...that is quite monumental, imo.
Get on the bus, Gus...

Does this sound familiar LOL:
“The Spooz mission is to unite the global trading world under a universal standard for market analysis, decision support, systems development, position management and electronic trade execution.”
Paul D. Strickland Jr., CEO
I think they just pulled the curtain back on the iceberg, imo
This is going to be HUGE, imo...
b
This appears to be HUGE NOOZ...imo...
I'm still digesting it, but wow...when I was thinking about new nooz, it was not even close to this big...this is unbelievably big...
imo
b
No, June 12 badcop...you really don't follow this stock much, do you? See recent PR...
b
Very insightful article Gmen, many thanks
b
What part of over 1,000,000 flawless trades in four weeks from STv2 implies that it is not working?
To me, that implies quite the opposite.
Last I talked with the company (several weeks ago), they were busy tailoring the product to meet client-specific requirements...not fixing bugs, but adding in custom functionality.
Unless we have the biggest scam of all time on our hands here, I think you guys are being a bit too presumptuous in your accusations that nothing is working and the product is a bust. JMO.
The next month is really going to tell the story...one camp will be vindicated, that is for sure. I for one hope it is the hopeful camp.
b
bid 7, ask 8...nice to see some early pressure before the bell...
b
uplist before the meeting would be sweet! may it be so ali
b
3 wks, 2 days til shareholders meeting.
Who here thinks we are going to get big nooz before then?
b
Nearly 18 million already today...
fwiw
b
"This", your spzi prophecies seem to be largely incorrect to date; any reason we should believe this one will come to fruition anytime soon?
I too believe 002 is a no-brainer...but "when" is the important question...
b
Agreed on all points Jack. I'd be all for us hearing about a big deal sometime soon...
gltu
b
"smart" is one word for them...lol
yes, spooz needs to bring the rain with revenues...
gltu
b
Somone stole 10 million at 0006...lot of volume out there today again...
What do you folks think is driving it?
tia
b
Well my hypothesis of a strong Q1 report were a little premature it appears. Not a lot to write home about here.
They essentially had 2 months of the quarter to execute sales, and presumably revenues cannot flow until after sales are made.
But $162...that's 2 licenses at $79/mo, roughly. Would have hoped for more...much more in fact.
One of two realities is going to hit us between the eyes in the next 3-6 mos:
1. The product is not sellable (I hope not)
2. The product is HOT and Q1 wasn't a big enough time frame to gain a foothold (I hope so)
Shareholders meeting ought to be interesting. I for one have many tough questions that I'd like answers to.
I am still bullish on the potential here, but I must admit that Rock has a decent point...the time for new promises from Paul and co. is running out...it is time to deliver a product to market and get the business going. The sun will set very quickly on Spooz if we cannot gain traction soon.
IMO
glta
b
Allie, great insight on that subtle reality...you are correct, they refer to business partners as if already in place.
b
Rock, I knew you had it in you! lol
gltu
b
And for all the whiners in the house, we have a full month now to plan for attending the June 12 shareholders meeting
You can thank Paul and co. for being professional enough to give us such advance warning
And it's worth noting that this is yet another example of them doing what they said they would...hosting a meeting in early June.
Their credibility continues to build, imo.
b
Good move on Paul's part to NOT give a timeframe for uplist, since there are forces not fully in his control there.
Looking forward to that day when they announce the move!
Allie, MC, or any other experienced person here - what might a typical time frame for uplist be here? A few weeks? A few months?
tia
b
June 12 shareholder meeting; anyone know if it is accessible by conf call, or is in person only?
Either way, I hope to be there. Should be very interesting.
As will today's trading.
b
This is my personal favorite quote from yesterday's PR:
"Due to the virtually unlimited flexibility of SpoozToolz the market scope is tremendous. Any exchange listed financial instrument can be traded; including stocks, futures, options, ETFs, Forex, cross asset class spreads, and uniquely customizable, and tradable synthetic instruments."
The market scope is tremendous...
The market scope is tremendous...
The market scope is tremendous...
The market scope is tremendous...
Worldwide, all exchanges.
If they succeed, it's going to be a fun ride amigos.
Let's ride!
b
Glad to see I'm not the only loser on here late at night Gbat!
Best regards to you and yours,
b
Indeed they are Allie.
Going to be a fun ride from here, imo.
b
Good evening crew...quite an interesting day. People buying big chunks all day long.
So, where did all these trades come from? What caused the sudden spike in demand?
Was it this morning's PR? It was a good PR...but was it THAT good?
In my opinion, no, it wasn't that good...there were days when similar nooz would have caused a decline. Something is different here.
My opinion, based on nothing more than pure hypothetical speculation, is that there is more nooz of the positive variety yet to come. Something is brewing, something big.
So what could it be? Here are some fun hypotheticals to amuse ourselves with:
1. Better than expected sales and revenue are reported for Q1
2. Big deal(s) with major players are announced
3. OTCBB uplist is officially completed
4. All of the above?
In my opinion, the all of the above option is plausible here.
Think about it...if bad nooz were coming, would we really have seen that kind of spike in volume on an up day?
We're clearly not out of the woods yet, especially given recent dilution discussions. But...the grass looks greener today than it did yesterday.
Tomorrow ought to be very interesting.
glta
b
65 million shares traded already, and climbing...
b
44 million shares traded already my fine feathered friends...something is brewing...IMO
b
Felipe, one thing we do know...after the last filing with the SEC, they had to be quiet. Today's PR is a signal that they passed the most recent hurdle, imo.
I can't remember what else has to be done from here, but nooz today means they heard back and can move to the next step, IMO>
gltu
b
That's what we're all hoping for T...time will tell...but no doubt that we are on the cusp of either major success or total collapse...there is no room for "in between" from here forward
Next few months will tell the tale
gltu
b
As do you Rock; it has been tough around here and I'll be the first to admit my hopes get in the way sometimes...but there seems to be some momo building here today, all bias aside.
I think what EBI said might be right...this PR is setting up additional nooz. Possibly on strong Q1?
Food for thought...weren't things supposed to be quiet until we completed the SEC filing? Things that make you go hmmm...
gltu
Something big is going on...20 million shares already traded and we're up to 001....
