I suggest that you send an e-mail to Tao Minerals asking for the information.
Bob
Please don't attack other posters. If you do I will delete the post even if I agree with your position. A better way to proceed is to start a new thread and use logic and your knowledge of TAON to simply refute the statements that you disagree with.

Thanks,
Bob
Dilution occurs when a company issues stock without increasing the potential profitability of the company.
Here is my case why Tao Minerals is not engaged in dilution. The company has taken a threefold approach to reach profitability.
1. TAON is improving security so that normal business activities can take place.
2. TAON is verifying the resources in its current holdings. This can lead to the necessary documentation to provide financing without increasing the number of shares that are outstanding.
3. TAON is actively engaged in acquisitions. This provides the potential for long-term stability and broadens the company's risk base.
These are all justified reasons for a Junior Mining Company to issue shares. When this is added to Tao Minerals full disclosure it makes the case that the company is not content to be a simple Junior Mining Company and is reaching for bigger and better prospects.
Bob
My motives are pure. I own TAON stock. I want to see the company succeed.
For that reason I will give you my opinion on what has happened since Friday morning.
Friday Jan. 28 -
TAON releases its latest 10-Q.
The 10-Q for TAON in the name of full disclosure shows an increase in the number of outstanding shares.
The apparent "dilution" provides an "opportunity" to short the stock.
TAON stock price drops due to strong shorting activity.
Saturday Jan. 29 -
TAON is upgraded to OTCQB because of SEC reporting and full disclosure.
Monday Jan. 31 -
The upgrade to OTCQB brings in new investors to TAON that liked the company but weren't willing to invest in a "PINK" company.
The price of the stock increased about 20% because of the new interest.
Tuesday Feb. 1 -
New investors kept the stock price firm throughout the day.
Wednesday Feb. 2 -
TAON stock price held firm through the morning and then dropping in the early afternoon due to some very low volume trades.
TAON stock recovered some before closing due to some short covering.
IMO there will be some significant short covering that still has to occur. Be positive.
Bob
All that I can do is try.
Bob
I sent an e-mail to Tao Minerals asking for any information that could be released publicly. I specifically referred to your question. If I get an answer that has any information in it I will post it here.
Thanks,
Bob
The spread didn't last long.
Based on the large spread between bid and ask it looks like it could be a bumpy day!
I have had a request to remove a sticky. Before I do that I would like suggestions on what to add as a sticky. Since this is traditionally an area that is used to promote the stock, I would like it to include current information about Tao Minerals as well as short term and long term plans. If you make an appropriate posting, I can pull it straight to a sticky.
Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
The last two days bids have started to stack at .01 in the early afternoon. This has occurred after almost all of the bids near .01 are gone. Does anyone have a theory why this is happening?
Could it be a sign of support?
I have reported the inactivity of the Moderator to IHUB. If the Moderator remains inactive until Feb 9th - 90 days - the Moderator will be removed. I have volunteered to be an Assistant Moderator to help fill the void. It is my hope that someone else on this board will take over the duties of Moderator after the 9th.
Thanks,
Bob
I have a feeling that there will be a lot of ask slapping the last 30 minutes today. The bids have started stacking up again.
MMs must have a lot of shorts to cover!
I think that the reclassification to OTCQB brought more buyers in.
It looks like we will have a price jump as soon as the market opens today!
Bob
Excellent news! Thanks!!
I would like to see more active Mods on this board. I think that Vita would be an excellent choice for a Mod.
Bob
It does look like the interest from yesterday has carried over to today.
No one know the exact date.
The release of the NI 43-101 is pending and could have a dramatic influence on the PPS!
I picked up an additional 475K shares yesterday (good timing) and have been sitting patiently all day watching the action. It looks like the real excitement won't be for another week or two.
Bob
Thanks!
It looks like something is going on. Any clues?
I wish that somebody would pump up the volume!
The following information is from CGFIA's 10-K in November. Page numbers are noted.
The estimated remaining cost to bring the mill into active status is highly dependent upon the result of the accepted final
operational, EPF, and plan designs, which have changed significantly since 2008. The Company estimates in very broad terms that the
cost may be between $1 and $2 million depending upon final approved designs. 10-K page 16
The Company continues to explore sources of additional financing to satisfy its current operating requirements. In May 2010, the
Company closed a one-year funding arrangement with an institutional investor (the “Delaware Partnership”), in which the
Delaware Partnership may provide convertible debt financing in $25,000 tranches, up to $1 million. The Investor is under no
obligation to fund any or all of the $1 million, and the timing of funding is solely at the discretion of the Investor. Proceeds from the financings are to pay the Company’s existing aged debt and for working capital requirements. Through August 31, 2010, the
Company received $150,000 under this facility (Note 7) of which $75,000 was used to pay off a promissory note payable (Note
6). In July 2010, the Company also closed a $50,000 funding arrangement with a group of New York Private Investors in the
form of a convertible note, which matures on April 20, 2011. 10-K page 35
Alerts should be going off all over the place at the current price. Hopefully, it is time for a run.
What is frustrating to me is that AMCG is profitable, has a business plan and an incredible market to exploit. Yet, it is having a problem connecting to investors.
The holidays are over but we still need buyers.
He who hesitates might just miss the boat!
That would make me happy.
It could be a very interesting day!
If buyers show up after yesterday's activity there could be significant positive price appreciation!
Thanks! There are people here with a significant commitment.
Bob
I will be at work and unable to listen in.
Bob
Just a thought --- With the attempts to post negative information on this board I think that everyone should wait for a Moderator post before believing any negative reports from the hearing tomorrow!
Bob
I have been thrilled to be able to pick up 3million shares today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just picked up 1.045M shares @.0022.
Bob
It is common knowledge that he gets his pay in shares only. He regularly has to sell some shares because of this.
It is looking like we will have a great buying opportunity this week!
Just to make you feel better, I made more than 3.5K on sales of TAON this week!
