Thanks for the reply. I knew Ebay was by independents but I guess I did think that it was the company doing it on Overstock.com. No problem though. I was thinking about everything going on with them and remembered this piece.
I guess I would rather see them in Auto part stores on the shelf for consumers to see and read the packages then to find them on Overstock. Overstock to me means that companies put their goods there when they have an over abundant of product and need to dump them, ie. Overstock.
I am curious how this may affect the Master Distributor's sales if the Kiddie Alert shows up in Auto parts stores. The good thing is he could have the Master Distributors sell the other Kiddie systems and Autoparts stores sell the Kiddie Alert. That would make for a good distribution channel.
I forgot about the test marketing strategy and if he was doing that it was smart. Marketing was not my most favorite subject in College but they did have the most attactive women in the classes!
Did anyone notice that we are not on Ebay anymore or on Overstock.com yet? Do we know why we aren't on Overstock yet? I don't recall any mention to this anymore other than they were having issues. I know a while back we were on Ebay but I'm not getting any hits.
My guess is Wiley wants to go with just the "Master Distributors".

I have had email conversations with Gary Rothstein from Mobile Awareness in the past as he's right around the corner from me. From what I got from the emails, he is a nice guy and very interested in issues of "Transportation safety". I think he will do an excellent job with helping to promote and sell Atwec products.

tbnfl4sun, Thought it was funny mentioning butterbean. I watched a fight (video) of butterbean fighting George Lindberger. I watched it because George was a year behind me in high school and a friend of my brother. Butterbean is a big boy!
Looks like their site has expired. I hope he renews.

Those D*** IT folks!
Just catching up with todays posts,
but I find some of these posts today rather amusing. How many non-reporting penny stocks have a CEO that shares as much "correct" information with it's shareholders. How many boards like this share the information where that information turns up to be almost dead on, minus maybe a day or two timeframe. I don't think many if any could compare! Given what has been shared over the last few months, who cares if it rides a few hills along the way. I plan on staying long enough to retire with this (unless my wife signs on and sells my shares). When I get a little bummed looking at my account because I lost some, I remind myself about everything they have and to have patience. Then I go play with my kids and think about how much time I'll get to spend with them when I retire young and reap the benefits of being patient. If you are upset with a PR that was said was just going to be a mtg recap per those that attended, then you are not long and dedicated, IMO. I am long and dedicated!
Meatloaf, Matt said to post this here. Anyway you could include a javascript confirm in the Favorites page for the Remove and Reset pieces? That way if we click it accidentally we didn't just reset or remove something we didn't want to. We could then cancel the request from the confirmation.
Now there's a post! Keep it!
OT: giboanny, catching up on posts and saw you are also from Cleveland area. Me too. Looks like there should be some richer people in Cleveland shortly, what do you think!
I sent Scooter1 a PM with some instructions on how I think he could do it. Hopefully soon we can see those pics.
I was thinking of taking pictures of the Progressive Insurance buildings to show how big of company it is and post them. Anyone interested? There's at least 3 campuses of buildings. Is so, I may be able to get there tomorrow.
Couldn't help it!
Windows XP, Start, Programs, Accessories, Calculator. LOL.
Exactly, they are letting us sweat it out!
Metro, I think there is a setting in the tools for IHUB that automatically does the refresh for the favorites. Set the value low and you should see your number of new ones in there.

Here is an email that I sent to our Assistant Superintendent of our schools and his response. I have also been in contact with the President of one of Atwec's Distributor and have forwarded this information to him.
==========================
Dear Mr. XXXX,
I am a parent of two children at XXXXXXX and in a couple years, 2 more. I do live close to XXXXXXX so only my second child rides the bus home from kindergarten. The reason I am sending you this email is that I recently purchased stock in a company called Atwec Technologies, Inc, located in Memphis TN (www.atwec.com). I wanted to share a little information about the company as I’ve learned more about what they provide and think it may be beneficial to XXXXXX schools.
One of the products this company produces is a safety device to help protect children while in and around buses. This device requires the bus driver to go to the rear of the bus to turn off a switch once the engine is turned off. If this is not done, an outside alarm is triggered to alert others. To me this sounds trivial but in doing so the driver is forced to make sure that no child has been left on the bus sleeping or hiding as I’m sure many children think is funny. I can see my kindergartner thinking it was funny. I never realized, but as I investigate the company more, it seems like there are more and more occurrences of children being left behind. The company has also recently started working with insurance carriers to reduce insurance costs for clients since this reduces the risk of lawsuits. I also understand that some legislation was passed in some of the Southern states that make these types of devices mandatory. I’m not trying to sell any of these devices but I wanted to let you know about them. If you are not aware of these products, it may be worthwhile to take 5 minutes to review their website.
Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXX

His Response
Thank you very much for your information. We are aware of some of these devices. We also are in the process of deciding which way we want to go with some type of system. Many districts, and not saying that cost is the issue as an alarm obviously would be more significant, use a simple system of placing a card or something in the back window after parking the bus. We always have a person now who walks the compound to check the buses when they after they all have returned. This person would see the card and know the driver had to walk back to the back to put up the card, and therefore checked the bus.
I am very sensitive to this issue as well, and we have been working on this. I will check out the website to view the item you discussed. Thank you again for the information.
Asst. Supt.
So what you are saying, we have to wait longer to hear the news if we aren't attending? (hee, hee).
This is going to be one weekend where I can't wait to get back to work on Monday!
Why are you using 800,000,000?
Me too. I just added 1.1M at .0027. Last ones for me. Time to go back up.
Thanks Metro. I thought it may have but I didn't remember and didn't search for it. Still from your calc's the $3.60/share at 500M won't go down much at 590M. I didn't look at their O/S but that is a big difference. Still, no sales.
Not sure if this was ever discussed but in poking around on mobileawareness.com, I came across the Guardian Alert system that is similar some ATWT products from what I can tell. They are made by Sense Technologies (SNSG.OB), www.sensetech.com. They are trading at .20 now and from the financials in July, they don't seem to have a lot of rev's. We've gotta be doing better than them!
I hope so as I can't make it there and will have to rely on updates here.
One more day closer to the shareholders meeting!
Here's a site to verify last post.

VLF, That is excellent info and hopefully they do get it to TV. Now, I can't help but point out the site has 4 spelling errors on the ad. I sent them an email to get them fixed.
Maybe the new PR firm can check these sites as well? Or they can pay me shares to proof-read their work? That I'll take especially with all the good stuff coming.

Actually I just sent them an email from their Contacts link so someone should see it. As a web developer I guess those things just catch my eye.
VLF,
Even West Bend Insurance can't spell. I hope they don't PR it that way.
"In addition to the discount we will offer on you childcare insurance"
All little something.
In reference to the video that Stevo received in his investors packet and Maknak posted on a site for us all, I think it was determined that we didn't know when this actually was created - maybe 2004.
But, if you go to http://www.atwec.com/upload then right click on the file 1820535463VIDEO_TS.IFO (a video informational file), save it as a target to your hard drive. Then go to your hard drive, right click, "open with" and select Notepad for example, the file opens with garbaly gook. Scroll to the right and you will notice at the end of the file there is this -
"My DVD ATWEC FOX NEWS 7/18/06". It could be more recent news or it could be that it was just made that date? No sure. JMO.
Stevo, I'm not sure if that's a real video. It's only 14k of material. If you go to http://www.atwec.com/upload you will see the ftp site for the files. Did a quick search and someone mentioned it is an informational file (.IFO). It won't play for me as well.
I don't. You'll see by the history I haven't posted much. It's a ton of work and no time for yourself. One day when I'm old and they all come over with their families, it will be worth it.
P.S. We almost had triplets (infertility drugs) on the twins but lost one at 12 wks gestation. Kind of a blessing in discuise.
Must be the lucky number we need before she runs.
I definitely don't plan on working with Computers anymore! Since I have 4 little ones (2 - 3yr. olds, a 5 and 7) I will probably spend time giving my wife a break. I may buy a house, fix it up and sell it. I like to do home improvement projects. It's funny; I tell everyone the stock will go up and I'll retire early. My family just goes along with my comments; but we all know better!!!!!!!! It will happen!
OT: Yes Jabber, you're the elder so I have to respect you. Turned 40 this last March and plan on retiring with XKEM by mid 41. How's that sound! There aren't many of us with that birthday it seems though.
Me too. March 31 here.
Stevo, thanks as well. Reads much better to me now and I feel better about the numbers.
Stevo, thanks, that's what I was thinking after reading Bob10103 message. It wasn't a 300% increase of 2005 for 2006 nbrs.
Maybe it's just me but I'm struggling with the wording in the PR.
"This will continue the acceleration of orders as the company sold and installed upwards of 400 units in 2005 over 2004, an increase in sales by 300% in FY 06. "
So as Bob10103 said, in 2005, there were 400 units over 2004 and we don't know 2004 numbers. But, the statement "an increase in sales by 300% in FY 06" doesnt fit well in the sentence. Should it have been "and an increase in ..."?
Is it 300% over 2005 or was there a type-o and it should have been "300% in FY 05" and we don't know 2006?
