You have to ask yourself--- Who is behind the curtain! Really, who makes or approves these headlines. Whom ever it is has people in high places.
Bill Gates Targets AOL
Bill Gates has vowed to destroy AOL.
That's what an insider close to AOL Time Warner tells NewsMax, explaining its recent woes and barrage of negative press coverage.
AOL Time Warner has taken a pummeling in share value, though its stock price is up almost 100% from its recent bottom of $8 a share.
Still, execs at AOL Time Warner say most of their woes and negative press coverage has been manipulated by Bill Gates and Microsoft.
Gates is said to still be furious with AOL Time Warner Chairman Steve Case, who had AOL work up front during the Justice Dept. effort to break up Microsoft.
During the Microsoft break-up proceedings, Case and AOL told the court that it chose Microsoft's browser over rival Netscape because of Microsoft's market dominance - a factor that gave weight to government arguments Microsoft had a virtual monopoly in operating systems for computers and the Web.
Since then Gates has vowed to bring down AOL and destroy it.
The AOL insider tells NewsMax that Microsoft basically "owns the Wall Street Journal" because of its heavy ad spending, and explains why the paper and other media outlets have targeted AOL Time Warner.

I noticed the same here in Houston and we are an energy town. I can just wonder how bad Detroit or Chicago.
No, I sold it.
Only 12 pages in employment section for a population of 4 million. Been like that for months now. The best damn clue yet we are not in recovery stage.
Walmart sales jump is most likely because KM shut down stores. WMT just took the KM shoppers. Giving they added Grocerys the sales better beat last year. Nothing to get excited about, imho.
OMG what a come back.
Picked this comment up on Yahoo board. History repeats itself.

Can you believe that Somberos in Mexico now say "Made in China". So much for NAFTA.
Whos is taking Pitts place. Seems all is quite.
Yes if my external LCD could resolute that high but If I could it would be like 3 monitors in one.
I am using 1600x1200 for notebook and 1280x1024 for NEC 18.1 LCD monitor. I have not research how to add 3rd monitor. This notebook has handle everthing I have thrown at it. The battery life and heat issue stink but overall the notebook been good to me. Watch out for the SONY, the notebook weight does not include the electric "brick" (it's that heavy) cord.
p.s. Lately I been running 1280x1024 on notebook.
Brightness, I have the Toshiba Satellite 5105-S701 notebook. I purchased it a few months ago when they first came out and I have to say it's been a joy. Here are the highlights:
Screen crystal clear UXGA 15'
1.8 Ghz M
60gig HD
512 md RAM
Nvidia 64 mb
integrated wireless WiFi
SD and SmartMedia slots and I.Link
Harman Kardon speakers (the best sound I have found)
The beauty about this notebook is you can run Two monitors at one time with different programs running. I have a normal keyboard & optical mouse attached by way of USB (3 USB slots). The only down fall the battery life is 1:45 hours and the bottom of notebook runs hot. Other that that it's one of the best.
"The Realist" is not "Sir Realist" of SI.
Oh MY! hehehehe
I was reviewing my commission with Cybertrader and yes they really add up. I just got in the mail my Cybertrader T-Shirt says " NOT NOW! I AM TRADING" written in big letters on the back.
Ken Stabler. He used to own a bar in town back in the 80's. He sure could put down the drinks, and oh yes the women just flocked to his table.
Fast and fair fills for market orders. The platform really sucks BUT the customer service is excellent. 5.00 Market Orders cuts down on the commis drastically. I use Cybertrader for precise and lighting quick trades on MOMOS but Brown for trades that are simple. I find that with a 5.00 commiss I can easily get in the green on a trade. A really good trader (which I know you are) can wait for a good entry position on pull backs. So when you hear that Market Orders are for rookies don't believe them.
Sorry. Been driving all day since 11:00. No wonder the market did not eod rally.
I'am afraid so.
Based on this IRAQ rejects UN.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (Reuters) - The head of an Iraqi parliamentary committee Monday recommended that the assembly reject a tough new U.N. resolution demanding that Iraq disarm.
"The committee recommends the following: the rejection of the Security Council resolution 1441 and not to approve it in accordance with the opinion of our people who put confidence in their representatives," Salim al-Kubaisi, head of the Arab and international relations committee told parliament.
He also recommended the parliament refer the final decision to the Revolutionary Command Council, which is led by President Saddam Hussein, "to take the appropriate decision to defend the people of Iraq, their independence and dignity."
Yes I have Cybertrader, Etrade and Brown. Cybertrader platform can get a traderholic in trouble. It's way to easy to buy or sell and from what you posted earlier it would get you in serious trouble.
My past experience has been when a stock break the majic 5.00 either it closes right at 5.00 or it breaks down quickly. The latter applies with OMG.
Are you the order was not for 10K shares. I bet your broker did a double take on that one.
She is back in China with the goods. I agree she should have been treated as a criminal. I am curious why the SEC did not report it immediately to the FBI.
OMG not above 5.00 for long imho.
OMG under 5.00. That is not good news, since it's non-marginable now. Be careful on this one.
