Don't try to draw too many inferences from the way you are exercised on bids since the market on the pinks is very disorderly and can be dishonest when a stock starts to move. I agree with your assessment that if the funding plans for Pulacayo were announced along with an update on the plant construction or leasing, the market will have more confidence. The volume here has not been very active this week indicating a wait and watch attitude from investors. A year a go the stock started to rocket until the fateful May 1 blowoff and the big drop on the nationalization announcement. Stock looks very cheap at these levels and I think you made a smart move adding to your position.
think there is a turn coming.stock is acting funny.
If they announced the financing package to start Pulacayo and build the infrastructure at Cerro Rico, it would reassure the market's that the mining will become a reality. The secret to many successful ventures is the use of other people's money...OT trueheart: Don't be bummed out by a half cent drop since nobody(FA excluded) can consistenly and accurately call a bottom. That being said, I feel you have a good chance of seeing a manyfold gain on your two and a half cent reentry point. When the stock is again in play, I plan to trade on volatility rather then pursue a exit strategy. I don't think one can give a fair market value for this investment until we see what projects and possible new deals the company accomplishes. The stock looks washed out at this level but that can change real fast as you know.
Now that you have the telephone number as requested from the posters, I guess you can call Charles and intoduce yourself. PLease share with us what he has to say about his relationship with FMNJ and the commitments he has received from various institutions. Glad to see you are also a psychologist. What is the motivation of people who bash companies when they own no shares. As Freud once said to Carl Jung: sometimes smoking a cigar is merely smoking a cigar.
Why would I do homework for you when you own no shares at this time? The problem with censorship rules are they are often subjective. Hope we can keep the colloquoy on a civilizesd level and we can agree to disagree.Your present criticism seems unfair and a little O'Reilly like.
You to seem to be suggesting that the company has been deceitful in its releases and that the association with gdr privee is a sham .What part of the word moderator do you not understand. Are you suggesting that the company has not been honest in their claims of filing for otcbb, hiring management for pulacayo, signing a gtl deal with argentina etc.?In addition you seem to be bullying and even threatening other posters. I am very disappointed in your behavior.
Weakhands would be , for example, follwers of the green baron, who buy on the profile , and are looking for a pop and then they are out. Fainthearted are like those who feel we may not see .025 for some time and are uncomfortrable with their position. My advice to them would be to sell now. To make big moneyou have to have big cajones and be a little reckless. Is a price target of twenty five cents reasonable here. No. Is it possible, Yes. To support such a high market cap, the company would have to live up to its promise (dual meanuing intended). Consider that they can actually bring their projects to fruition. They process tailings and generate cash flow. They are able to convince major lenders to come on board. They start production at cerro rico and draw out the estimated 2 billion in revenues. They build two major gtl plants in Argentina and Bolivia using other peoples money, and are partners in facilities which generate 20,000 barrels of oil per day. They reopen the dormant US mine as rising gold and silver prices make production economically viable.Babe, their are many companies with a 5oo million market cap that have less tham that. I am enjoying my LSD trip this morning. Finaslly, I really believe that a financing deal for cerro and pulacayo will generate the needed push to make big money investors to replace the fainthearted or weakhanded and those who chart a stock for a penny move .That is the news I want to hear.
Some interesting points to ponder in this latest release which raises some questions but seems impressive in its main thrust which is to obtain almost half a billion dollars to constuct the plant in Argentina. Obviously a strong feasablity study is needed to convince the institutional lenders to support such an expensive project. Also of note is that Jaime is in Argentina meeting with local gas producers (and probaly having a good steak dinner). If the Privee group can negotiate this blockbuster, the company will rock, even if the timeline to close is not to the liking of the many impatient investors here, including yours truly .If you believe that this is a accurate report, it lends credence to the idea that Rothschild will or has already raised the much smaller amount needed for the tailings and cerro rico projects. Any news of an actual financing arrangement should propel the stock off its present doldrums position. Those who bail here may be right but the risk reward ratio for the less fainthearted investor can be quite large. Twenty five cents doesn't seem like an impossible dream if they are really moving ahead on these projects.
i don't think you got his decimal point or is that a dismal point.
I just read the green baron latest update. click on latest reports on left.It suggests that they believe that the company will get some major financing that will propel them into project production. If they announce major financing, I think the stock will act very favorably. Fingers crossed.
Obviously the stock has acted badly on the news; however it may have overreacted. I had hoped to hear that the building of the pilot plant had commenced and that recovery operations would start in May or June.If it had been worded that way, I believe the stock would have rallied sharply. This has lead some weak hands to think that nothing will happen for 2.5mos. so sell and buy back in late June. Maybe they are right. We shall see.I am a little rattled but they say stoks move higher on a wall of worry.
I think investors need to be reassured that the tailings plant is in the process of construction. If delivery of processed minerals for sale are due in July the actual plant must be constucted soon. Maybe the group of big investors here can post this info if available to them.
sometimes these shakeouts though painful are good. Noticed a 650,000 sh block at .021 nice size.If stock closes uncahnged or up this may be a classic intraday reversal. I hope
thinking the same thing. Maybe they are selling the zinc as agents for other producers so they can fulfill the immediate need of the japanese contract
I noticed the same thing. Obviously the market is disappointed in the June announcement. If they are in fact almost ready to process tailings, it would be very reassuring if they said so. Shaking out of weak hands may be over if this is true.
What's in a nane, to quote the Bard. Upward moves are only caused by one thing: more buyers than sellers. I think the choir has heard you sing more than a few bars of the tailings refrain. We are still wiating for the fat lady to sing.I too will be disappointed if we do not get a firm update on tailings in the near future.
yes ,sortagreen, in my opinion.i didn't necessarily mean you. I need a better adjective than inane to decribe you. lol.Stock is ready to make a big move on the kind of news everyone here is waiting for IMO.Volume will be key as usual.
The news release gives some interesting info for those who bother to read rather then make inane comments. The hesdline states company now has Immediate cash flow. This division will apparently be profitable right away sincee it is an agency. I wonder if some of the product they are going to sell is already committed for on the buy side, such as the Janeses zinc contract that was signed. Finally, Mssrs. Mendez and Davila will be working in situ at the Potosi office where cerro rico is located. All good stuff to me so I really don't understand the mockingbirds.
Ned. Are you aware of the fact that the tailings will require multiple plants in order to achieve full production potential.I believe that they will be both leasing and buiding plants. If form holds true, I expect that they will clarify soon.
Relax. The idea is to get it right. We are all anxious for them to start tailings and I think they will confirm Pettys inference that they are leasing an existing plnt so they can start processing very soon. I believe that the reason they give for an on site plant is to reduce the high cost of transporting bulk tailings. If the existing plant is not too far away, that might be most economical at least for startup. I hope they then start to simultaneously continue pilot plant to reduce leasing and transportation costs. While many here get upset at status updates as not being newsworthy, I like to hear how the business plans are proceeding and if they have changed. We are watching the creation of an ever evolving company that may produce spectacular results for those who got into and believed in the company at an early stage of development.
what do you think the impact is of this legisltive miasma?Or do you just like to post news items to show you know how to google. DOES ANY OF THIS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY AFFECT FMNJ?
While the o/s have increased, so has the value in the company. Whoever the seller has been during the years this board has been in existence , think how lucky the BUYER has been. The seller was realizing an average while stock was in sub penny levels while the buyer has increased his value manyfold by taking a position in a very early growth company. Now that they have financing partners, hopefully the dreaded dilution ,so feared by many, will stop. Once, ok,if,production starts, let's see if 3 cents still seems like too much to pay.
This was a disappoiting 4 day week as the initial volume surge puntuated by the green baron pr blitz dissippated at the tough 3 cent resistance level. My educated guess is that the company will be able to now give a update on the constuction of the plant which should increase interest again. I am surprised that they did not announce how much money was raised in Swisserland. In my opinion, the downside risk, worst case scenario is removed once the company achieves adequate financing to commence tailings and rebuilding of the infrastucture at Cerro Rico.It also seem like they are putting together an exciting management team.Wost case thesis: Contracts are illusory. Management is shaky, corrupt, or just lazy and inept. Can't raise money without constant dilution.Stock interest is lost and sub penny level is reached...Best case scenario: Contrcts are real. Company is able to start processing of tailing and starts to achieve a rising positive cash flow.Money is raised from banks and institutions to start ramping up the cerro rico mine this year. Money is raised for building of argentian gtl plant. Stock price rises to teenager as the Street takes notice. (See apex mining SIL move last week, their major project in Bolivia) Stock moves to otcbb as trading becomes more orderly. The pessimists here believe the worst case is more likely the optimists the opposite. Who will be proven right will be dependent on something THAT NO ONE HERE CAN CONTOLL.Can this management execute their robust business plan.
when jim morrison rides away
You are right 4700 shareholders after a 10/1 revese split.lol By the way, I believe I heard Petty suggest that they were going to lease an existing tailings plant instead of builiding a new one and that he expects the company to achieve a positive cash flow in this the second quarter.
I urge all serious investors here to carefully listen to the Petty interview. The compamy has raised capital from the Zurich trip to fund two projects. Futhermore, Petty will be flying into New York to give a presentation to two major banks who he estimates have a 70% chance or better to provide funds for the other projects. He believesm]the stock is undervalued at these levels. BTW he said there are 47,000 shareholders. He forget Trueheart just reupped so we have 47,0001 holders. Welcome back True. I think and hope you picked a good spot to reenter.
Interesting line in news item is reference to several projects soon to be operational. As in more tan on. What else beside tailings in Pulacayo is on the horizon.Hmmmmm
Thegreenbaron website reports that they have completed the Petty interview and that it will be available tomorrow on tape obviously on their site.It appears the interview was limited to the curriculun vitae of the Rothschild people involved. They have a good record and can't hurt. Also I note that the company is a featured pick and its Friday quote is featured.Although FA(***)has faitfully pointed out that they are paid PR promoters, Their track record of successful picks is very encouraging. A true professional will only accept business from companies that will enhance their reputation for good picks since their existence as a success depends on it.I believe their is a strong possibility that the stock will have a good week and maybe even a breakout here. The key is whether or not the constuction of the tailings facility is moving along. I am not expecting the Rothschld group to come up with a major lender in the near future since these deals usually take a while with meetings and legal papers having to be drawn up. The important thing, as evidenced by the increased volume, is that the stock is IN PLAY.In my opinion this is a very important time to be in this stock. The only question is how far does it run from here.
I have a feeling that the interview will not be heard live and may be taped on Saturday or Sunday and available monday on their website. William Petty is in La Paz ,according to the last announcement, to close the zinc deal. This stock is ready to fly. There has been some big accumulation this week on 5-9 million share day average volume. Lots of potential news items that can be a catalyst for the move. We are getting near the time frame for the erection, pardon the expression,of the Pulacayo plant.
Over 1 million shares traded at the offer .027 at the close in the last minute.mmmmmLOoks like some serious accumulation to me.Sunday morning no guarantee. mOnday morning it will be very nice to me.Have a nice weekend sortagreen. Green the color that symbolizes money and ........Envy.I don't think you own a share.
nice bike. Shudda invested in harley.
great story. ($$$$$)let us pray.
A .50 price and market cap of 1.1 billion is not as ridiculous as it may sound at first blush. The company is trying to raise 1.3 billion to support its various ambitious projects. If that is the projected investment, the market cap doesn't look that out of whack. I personally think that the company should have not released the number since it appears to be an unattainable amount of money to raise given the pink sheet status. That being said, if some major investors get involved, we may be on the verge of a significant increase in pps. No one can realistically project what the fair value is at this time but at a present low cap, as pointed out by NYBOB($$$$$) it seems that the old highs are attainable in the near future. The petty interview should provide some insight. I also hope that they will reveal the funds raised in Switzerland which will probaly be immediately used to constuct the tailings plants. Also like to hear the final numbers on the zinc contract.
($$$$$)
who did he sell them to. anyone here buy a million shares at 3 cents on the open yesterday. Mart, Americano? baron rothchild?
My take on yesterdays stock action. It looked like smart money buyers in mostly at .028 average. MMs knocked stock down at end to try to bring in more weak hand sellers. I think someone involved with bankers may be taking a position here. Stock is a strong near term buy in my opinion.
The seed capital needed to make all the plants operational was hopefully attained in the swiss loan negotiated by petty. The investment banking arrangement with Rothchild is merely a contract to rais up to 1.3 billion dollars. This enormous sum represents the total cost of developing all the projects currently on the burner. I hope this is not overly ambitious. Oh well, you know what they say:you can never be too thin or too rich.
The hiring of an investor banker to help ensure adequate funding for the projects is another major step in achieving economic viability. A 1.3 billion dollar investment to finance the projects such as gtl will obviously require some big money players. Perhaps someone can do a little dd as to the credibility of the banker. I am looking foward to the announcement as to how much money was raised in Zurich and a status of the commencement of tailings. This is starting to look like a serious company.
In order for stocks like these to make a sustainable move, big money interests have to be involved. The high volume generated by the pending announcement of financing seems to have brought in some interest from these significant players as seen by a 3 fold increse in average daily volume. My guess is that Petty raised in the area of 2-5 million to capitalize tailings and cerro rico startup. Probably will learn of BOD action tomorrow or Wednesday. Also very interesting is the apocryphyl reference to a ny meeting with investment bankers. This can be really big. I don't believe the company would have mentioned that meeting if it did not expect some positive events to come out of it.Thank goodness the company was not scared off by Tony's constant complaints about meaningful news. If this isn"t meaningful, you can characterize the Iraq quagmire as a minor scirmish. I am looking for an explosive move soon as excitement builds on the prospects for this company.
This is the news I was hoping for since capitalization is the ket for commencement of the Cerro Rico project. The company had enough capital to build the pilot plant at pulacayo but needed the cash flow for Cerro Rico. Now they may start both projects soon. I am anxious to see how much money was raised. We are on our way in my opinion.Stong buy here.
