How much oil are they expecting out of Garcia 3?
Interesting they release this after hours on a Friday. Good news nonetheless.
Welcome and congrats! The next few weeks should be interesting here. Looking forward to more updates on I-1. With all the news this week, it is a very exciting time to be here!
I picked up a handful of shares today as well :) I liked the news from La Jolla!
I agree as well. Great news!
Nice! I picked some more up this week as well. It might be the last opportunity to get shares before it takes off. Jmho
Great analysis. I agree:
"The SAR hasn't flipped yet and leading indicators of Stochastics 50 on fast, Williams and RSI 54 are still very low and showing no sign of exhaustion."
Me too. I haven't sold a share and have been accumulating. I'm in for the long run. Even if you didn't average down, I think we will all be in the green in the long run.
This board has definitely picked up...a lot more posts/members compared to just a week ago. I think time will bring more and more investors :)
It's not looking good for the ones that played the waiting game. Congrats!
It's moving up quick!!! Go WGAS!!!
Would love to see it hit that today!
Welcome members that are new to WGAS. A lot of us here got in at higher prices and many have averaged down. I think we are all still looking forward to a nice return in the future. Excellent timing if you got in around the bottom IMO. I'd be surprised if you get shares around those prices again. Great week for us so far!
That sounds good to me :) It looks like I-1 is moving along nicely and they should be starting cleanup in just a couple of weeks.
What do you expect to happen?
I think there will be a promo soon. JMO
You may be correct on Volk...It sounds like you and XYZ have done your DD. I just don't see him going anywhere.
I may have posted before:

Good find. I like this page and hope they are successful with this strategy. I believe things can turnaround really quickly once we get production results or even in anticipation. I hope they are on schedule at I-1.
It looks like the sellers have taken their foot off the gas as well. WGAS traded aprox. 14 mil shares in 2 days this week! That's 2 weeks of our normal volume.
I called them earlier regarding the site. I was hoping for a big update to it when it went back online :). Maybe tomorrow.
I'm not sure what putting pressure on the company means, but please don't waste too much of anyones time. If you don't like Volk, it was probably a poor decision to invest in WGAS.
They didn't announce GWBU as their pick. It's just on the APS site.
It's all good man. I'm sure someone missed this before. There has been so much activity on here, it was easy to miss I'm sure.
As wgas gets more exposure and with production starting, who knows how high we can go. There are not that many shares even with dilution. I'm in for the long run.
I bought more this week. It could be the last chance to buy at this bottom. Oil will be here soon!!!
How much dilution are you referring to? The volume today was crazy!
Thanks for your take on it. You are probably the most knowledgable of anyone here on WGAS and I am no expert by any means. Maybe Volk wasn't much good to the company.
Yea, thanks again GG! Nice to see the updates. We are well on our way and it's great to finally see some pictures!
I found the recent updates page:
http://wenergyinc.com/recent-updates/
They sure didn't make it easy to find! Good job catching that. I'll look forward to reading these updates. There are pictures too! :)
Nice find! I don't see any link to it on their site? I guess they don't want to do a PR because it costs $?
I disagree with you on Volk. Unless there is something I don't know, I think he has done a good job creating value. Dilution was probably his only option and necessary. Getting a loan with no revenues is never an easy task. He has a lot of experience and he isn't going to do anything that isn't in the best interest of the company. He owns 32,000,000 shares after all.
Telling an experienced CEO (now chairman) how to run the company is like a fan giving Kobe Bryant advice on shooting a basketball...
Worthington has a 10.35% working interest in I-1. Silvermere has a 16.66% percent working interest in I-1 and 33.3% in future wells at Mustang Island
Silvermere is simply a partner for us. If everything goes as planned at I-1, I imagine we will be many multiples higher. There is no telling where this stock will be in 6 months IMO. The potential of Worthington is huge! I think people are hesitant to buy stock here because they want proven production/revenue before they invest. We are also dealing with dilution.
I think patience will pay off for us!
Things can and will turnaround sometime this month IMO. Worthington still holds valuable assets and will continue operations as planned. I-1 should be ready this month and we will be producing!
Do you know something we don't about Charles Volk? I am happy to have him based on his experience:
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/person.asp?personId=27366315&ticker=WGAS:US&previousCapId=10741257&previousTitle=WORTHINGTON%20ENERGY%20INC
Also:
Charles Volk, Jr. resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company on January 23, 2007. Mr. Volk, Jr. is considered a promoter of the Company and has received a total of 4,301,501 shares from the Company. Of these shares, Mr. Volk, Jr. received 3,942,501 shares of stock in conjunction with the acquisition of Osage Energy Company, LLC.
He received millions of shares from Osage. Just because he left before they went public, doesn't mean he wasn't successful.
I added today. I'm sure we'll be off this bottom soon. JMHO
Nice! A lot going on here.
It is hard for me to say this, but I believe he is correct that they are not affiliated with APS :). However, anything could happen here. It has gone up consistently for nearly 2 weeks with more good things to come soon IMO.
Thanks for the update! Sounds like they are on schedule :).
I'm interested to see an update on I-1. They projected that it would be ready on July 19th. Has anyone checked Silvermere news lately to see if they had any updates?
Anyone else notice after hours trading? It is back up to where it started today at .0078.
I couldn't have put it any better myself. I think once we get I-1 flowing things will really turn around. Not only will we make money there, but we will be in a much better position to develop other wells. It will be a chain reaction IMO.
Thanks for keeping the IBOX looking sharp :). I don't like the price drop as well, but I guess it understandable that investors might be a hesitant to invest without knowing its a sure thing. I-1 is a test to prove Worthington is capable of producing.
Unfortunately there have been many oil exploration companies that are all talk and never produce. However if you do some research on these companies, management is usually inexperienced. This is not the case at all with Worthington (as we all know here) and I think the turnaround comes when people see we mean business.
I have bought plenty of shares and will continue to buy more on dips. I am confident in management and expect a big turnaround in the stock soon when we see the results at I-1. There's no telling how many multiples higher we will be in the near future IMO.
