Yeah, GE is looking at the Ionic Bulb the same way that Ford Motor Co. looked at a private inventor's intermittent windshield wiper. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1054588/
Be careful what you wish for.
This from American Bulls. Clearly they've had some hits and misses on their buy/sell calls. Right on their last 'buy' in Dec, a little late on the sell on 1/21, but still in the black for that round trip. And their re-entry on 1/29 clearly overestimated ZVTK management follow-through on PR's.
I would expect them to be cautious on any re-rentry call, waiting to see if any PPS rise in response to 10Q has legs.

Our system posted a WAIT today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 02.10.2010 (9) days ago, when the stock price was 0.0045. Since then ZVTK has fallen -26.67% .
Our WAIT tag says all that is to say. Stay at cash or check the other stocks while waiting the next signal. Do not bother with buying or short selling this stock as long as the WAIT tag stays.

Trading equilibrium has been reached between those too nervous to hold over the weekend, because they fear a bad 10Q or no 10Q, and those who believe that the report will be released, will be mostly positive and will be accompanied by the launch of new infomercials.
A break either way in PPS this afternoon will indicate some kind of news has leaked. Doubtful for all of the reason discussed about past history of Diet Coffee, IMO.
That about covers it! All the rest is just noise.
IF there's been significant dilution and sales are low what difference would a delay in filing make?
Looks like "they" walked it back based upon the 'positive guidance' in the previous post.
Wait a minute. Read posts as far back as you care on this board and tell me again that there has not been absolute, metaphysical certainty expressed about the direction of OWVI by most posters.
No expressions of uncertaintly let alone ignorance of what managment was up to. At least none that weren't reviled as heresy followed by admonitions to either drink the Kool-aid or go elsewhwere.
Still long, may add to position!
And conversely, that's probably a word that should be banned from ZVTK posts.
"Until we see some figures, it's all just a guess" should be a required postscript to every single post on this board. It should be as standard as the "forward looking statement" disclaimers we read at the end of PR's.
Until we see some figures, it's all just a guess.
Oh I'm prety sure that you do! Take a look at your posts and those of the ones who express their 'wishes' for OWVI PPS. There is always an impending 'event' that is going to move PPS higher. But if it doesn't happen never mind about all the rationales put forward, long term we're golden! Except nobody knows that for sure either.
I'm still in but I'm cold sober when it comes to assessing wishful thinking for what it is. Why anyone needs to have their hand held with "wait'll this or that happens" is beyond me.
You're under the impression that's NOT the 'wash, rinse, repeat'
strategy of many of the 'investors' on this board?

PennyStockin: "Our 3:30pm pick is CARDIAC NETWORK INC (PINK: CNWI). We want all our members to get in CNWI, promos coming in next few days."
Do the 'math' again. I'm too new of a subscriber to jump on them for reporting a delayed promo and now a cancellation when they were early enough to make the call and easily attain the 50% they claim.
I did avg down and will play it this week because I consider the promo to be extraneous to the comany's own PR's and fundamentals.
That's the best take. Just as the government or politicians will try and bury bad news late on a Friday.
Then inference #2 in my post is the likely scenario and they're either optimistic as to how 10Q will be received or at least unconcerned.
There no indication that they are the source of the promo.
Heads up:
PennyStockin: It looks like Promotion for CNWI cancelled however we still manage to bring 50% on CNWI. If members are holding CNWI we recommend all of you to sell it."
Now we're left with determining if all of the selling took place on Fri. or are fundamentals of the company sufficent to sustain or increase PPS, or is there a PR from CNWI in the wings that will negate the effects of a canceled promo?
OK this is the date that has been mentioned. Now, if the news were not so good would it be better to release it today with markets closed and with time for the news to be absorbed by investors?
Or can we infer from the fact that it hasn't been released yet today that the news is good and that releasing it during trading hours may be more beneficial to current investors, including ZVTK executives?
Or lastly, it's not quite ready and may be delayed a day or two!
Too little info from ZVTK as to how sales were going. A void filled by speculation as to whether or not order #'s were sequential and whether or not they were indicative of the volume of sales. Concerns about dilution and competency of management were also subjects on this board.
Thank you very much. If this were the OWVI board, where the Kool-aid supply is inexhaustible, we would be exhorting each other to buy to "support the PPS", as if any group of board posters actually could or believe that they could. Didn't seem to work over there.
Let's not jump to conclusions about an ad that is still only viewable on the web site where ordering info is readily available. Didn't the infomercials that have aired have the web site and phone ordering info?
And why wouldn't a lot of that funding have come from the newly appointed COB and largest investor, Anthony Intrieri?
Good call, considering tomorrow is a trading holiday!
In any case it's fair to assume that KoP is calling for 'rain' RE ZVTK's PPS.
Facile comparison to weather systems, tracked by satellite and radar, which are unaffected by sentiment, emotion or insider information to determine their likely development, direction of movement and intensity. If there is a valid comparison between weather forecasting accuracy and the predictive accuracy of stock charts I'd like to see it.
Thanks for the clarity!
No ego gratification in "I don't have a clue". Too many people need to 'feel' that they know in order to realize the payoff "I told you so". Uhhhh, I was right, THAT felt sooo good!
(Insert here a mental image of an Ed Grimley victory dance around the computer. "I wonder what Pat Sajack thinks of ZVTK?")
Google it if you don't get it.
And the funniest thing is that those who assert with the most certitude are making at best a 50/50 call, or a 33 1/3 call if they 'predict' sideways trading. A 'Woody Hayesish' "when you throw a forward pass there aren't but 3 things that can happen, and two of 'em are bad"!
And the rest of us? We're a bunch of baby needs a new pair of shoes, here comes that new car, goodbye credit card debt, hello new home, wishful thinking MF's! Nothing wrong with that. It's just that these posts will be a lot less inflamatory to those who understand these motivations.
Are you a butcher? From "meat on the bones" to prime rib....you're making me hungry! I just hope I don't have a bone to pick with anything in the 10Q. That does it.
I live in Chicago, time for a visit to Morton's or Lawrey's!
Short answer is nobody knows. I stand by my statement that surprises in the 10Q are as likely to be good ones as bad ones.
Additionaly, why .0163 PPS with no reported sales, no infomercials running and upgrade in trading status not yet attained, and not now, with all of those missing elements present?
Why poject your own unfounded fears? 10Q will clearly state the figures are through 12/31/09, a period in which customer service was up for a shakedown cruise of about two weeks. Isn't there just as much a chance of good news in the form of sales in Europe or the Far East? In short realistic expectations based upon an understanding of 10Q reporting parameters = no disappointment.
Agree. That's s false choice between two extremes. There's a balance to be struck between the 'interests' of day traders and MID to long term investors.
Note that he conveniently left out the middle choice which would argue in favor of somewhat more transparency and a few more "how 'we're doing" PR's that fall within what's allowable.
I'm aware of that. I was specifically referencing : "PennyStockin, parent of the Superchirp Twitter service", which is who I received my email alert from on the "delayed promo".
Member since last Wed. I've mock traded 2 picks that would have been + 35% if I'd swing traded or held for 2 days. I did not sell on the announcement of the "delayed promo" but added more at .31.
Hey professor, I think that's the second time you've plumped for bulbs in Home Depot.....for THIS Jan.! Are you dating your checks from the same calendar?
For what it's worth the PPS closed slighly up heading into a weekend before a Mon trading holiday and before the PR on the new infomercial, suggesting that investors were content to hold rather than fearful of the contents of the 10Q.
Right you are, up to .0163 in Dec on just the announcemnts of customer service order taking and the SCHEDULING of infomercials.
Granted, the ante is upped for info now that infomercials are scheduled again. ZVTK must know that as well. Let's see if the wording in the financiles release provides guidance that encourages new investors.
I thought that this board's members in particular would find these exquisitely awkward, and awkwardly timed, email alerts from PennyStockin, parent of the Superchirp Twitter service that alerted subscribers on the CNWI promo delay........humorous?
I wasn't a subscriber during the time period for the alleged winning streak described below, so I withhold judgment on today's fiasco as being anything more than a mistake.
You have a new direct message:
PennyStockin: We are talking with our staff about changing our price from $2.49 to $9.99 since we are bringing so many winners. Next week we will bring sub penny that could move 1300%, just like KLGG did.
Dear traders,
We are sending out this very special e-mail to ask all of the active members to consider what they have gained through the use of this newsletter. Without having to wait for much of a response, we have had MANY of you inform us that you have made a killing off our picks. Let’s review some of them:
· PMAH made 133% in 2 weeks.
· ARTS made 194% in 15 hours.
· BGOI made 35% in 3 days.
· GAZU made 54% in less than 15 hours.
· MDCE made 157% in 4 days.
· KLGG made 1250% in 1 day.
· HYII made 130% in 30 minutes
With picks like these we believe that you all see the extreme value that you all have in our newsletter as a resource for information and pick alerts, along with our Twitter. Over the span of just three months we have provided subscribers with the opportunity to make profits that many newsletters don’t do in a single year.
- THE REASON FOR THIS E-MAIL -
With the track record that PSL and our free newsletter provide and everything we have stated above we believe that we as a group should take advantage of the next step. PSL has a Superchirp account http://superchirp.com/pennystockin) where we provide PRE-PROMO STOCK PICKS.
What does this mean? It means you would be able to buy in to stocks that other newsletters are going to promote in a few days – YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO BUY IN BEFORE ANY PRICE RISES AND BE ABLE TO MAXIMIZE PROFIT LIKE NEVER BEFORE.
PSL offers this service to newsletter subscribers for $2.49 a month. Again, do the math on the critical 1-14 days extra you have before the iHUB or any newsletter promotes a stock and it should not be hard to see the extra profit that can be had. Even more beneficial to our Superchirp feed is the fact that the more members we gains for this feed, the more buying power those early birds have. What does this mean? This means even more quick and strong momentum is built through volume spikes before the promotions begin to attract more buyers!
Please take advantage of the low fee that is being offered to newsletter subscribers and sign up. One pick alone could end up paying for this fee for years to come.
Please follow ourlead and sign up at http://www.superchirp.com/pennystockin
Sincerely and With the Best of Wishes,
PSL Staff, www.PennyStockLive.com
I won't belabor you with the old "it's not a loss until you sell".
We don't know yet whether averaging down was the right strategy or not, but has anything really changed beyond the PPS? I've seen email promos fall flat as often as not, so I don't know that the absence of a promised promotion precipitated today's sell-off and neither do you. And how would you compute how many of 50K members were 'freaked' enough to sell relative to those who shrugged off the news, which after all was about a promo and not anything substantive from the company.
Here's the flaw in that line of reasoning. Did I miss something or is my $2.49/mo subscription the "non leak" version and do I need to upgrade to the $5.00/mo 'premium' service for "our super secret leaks before the 2.49/mo members receive them"?
I looked around the site and couldn't find that.
And just to refresh everyone here's the Twitter email from this morning. They are not the authors of the promos.
"PennyStockin: CNWI 's promos were a little bit delayed. We are still holding CNWI strong and we are going to average it down.
We're going to need for a lot of things to break right for that scenario to play out including but not limited to, reporting of positive sale #'s, limited dilution, more aggressive marketing and perhaps a retail agreement with a specialty store chain or two. Think Bed, Bath and Beyond rather than Walmart. We're assured of none of that as of right now.
How's THAT sound?!
