Thanks fivestar. Has anyone contacted the transfer agent recently to get an updated number of the OS?
Fivestar - What was the approximate amount of debt remaining to be paid to the debenture holders at the end of the last report? TIA
I think the original offer for Technipower was too low. Approximately what SOLM paid for the company in 2006. It continues to get contracts and has recently introduced a new product line. So I have to ask myself why would SOLM sell Technipower unless the sale price would give them quite a bit of breathing room? Seems like Techipower should be worth at least 50% more than the offer. And there is the issue of a corporate name change to Technipower looming.
I'd like to see some significant contract news.
From the 9/08 quarterly filing:
"The increase in our revenues is attributable principally to improved results of our Power Electronics Division, including the introduction by Technipower of its Cobalt15 line of power solutions to enhance its legacy product lines, and the addition to this Division of Deltron’s revenues. We believe that revenue of the Power Electronics Division will continue to equal or exceed those of previous quarters."
Yes it was. I'm glad you've stopped whining constantly.
Let me guess. You're going to post the buy to sells since we're up today. Will Ben's settlement post return soon?
I think the reverse is highlighted in the Ibox. But keep repeating it as if you feel most of the posters here are too dumb to read.
LOL! That DD is fairly well understood by most here. I don't see any new boardmarks yet.
Cargo - are you and Five doing a "bad cop - good cop" routine?
LOL! Kitty have to agree with you. Good observation that it's now missing.
I think we know the debt holders are selling. I guess maybe they might like higher prices than .002. How high is the question?
I thought Cargo Hauler was making a call yesterday for the the .000X's. Did he forget about the meeting today?
Fivestar - maybe I missed it but where is the post that said you sold any shares?
TIA
Fivestar - In your own profile "Can't win if ya don't play". Are you calling bankruptcy for SOLM? Straight up dude.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/profile.asp?user=65265
Fivestar - I have never said you were smoking anything. You seem to want to discredit others after you have been discredited for pumping at much higher prices and leading others to a big loss.
What's the current marketcap if all A/S are sold here? 1M. What was the last contract value? 500K.
Ben - You've been fairly quiet. Any particular reason?
Fivestar - Amazing that SOLM would have a problem during the 4Q and WORST CREDIT CRISIS in a CENTURY! And yet revenues during the WORST CREDIT CRISIS, will still be UP 22% for the year to approx 10M.
SOLM's marketcap (if all 200M of the rest of the A/S shares were sold at these levels) would still only be 1.5M.
My SOLM glass looks more than half full given the future challenges and SOLM's position in alternative energy segments.
Fivestar - $7K is still more than twice $3K. At these levels the dollar amounts are small which was my point several posts ago. Maybe the debt seller will start dumping hard again and make you and Cargo both happy.
Strong volume for "just a chart player" at over twice the 10 day average volume. Hope they bring a few more. Only a few days left until some news.
Orders are in. :)
Fivestar - when do you expect the next round of dilution? There are still 200M shares that can be sold.
I'm thinking of doubling up my shares at .001?
Fivestar - I stand corrected. Obviously you know that no one ever sold C AIG BAC or pulled money out of their mutual funds before the 2008 bear market.
What do those companies have to do with SOLM though?
Fivestar - In the recent bear market many stocks have proven to be bad investments. The ones you mentioned have been around for years though and many people probably did retire more wealthy by investing in them over the years.
I wish all investors in SOLM the best and look forward to some news (hopefully positive) soon.
Fivestar - If they don't scrap their plans, I assume you will be selling at a loss then.
Fivestar - let's revisit your NEVER NEVER NEVER post in a year. Current price is .0034 or .34 after the reverse split. Do I have your word?
Fivestar - unless you sold under .0063 I doubt I bought any of your shares.
You don't need to explain anything to me. I would like an answer to my earlier question. Are you holding on to your remaining shares and hoping for a miracle here or just trying to buy a larger stake at lower prices?
Fivestar - There were 500M A/S with DILUTION happening when you were pumping SOLM from .007 to .02. An additional 80M - 100M shares were sold into the recent runs. Share O/S went from around 200M to 300M. Now you're worried about dilution? That's a bit funny. A reverse split is not dilutive in itself. Only dilution is.
I don't see how you can't see the difference between a 4M marketcap and a 1M marketcap.
Fivestar - Yes the company may start immediately issuing shares after the reverse or they may not. They may also issue some positive news. My answer is still correct about the the reverse split and marketcap. There is no change unless there is dilution of the O/S.
Most of my shares were purchased quite low and while I didn't sell on the move up, my lower GTC bids in the .006's .005's filled. Please see my post to Kitty on this board when the stock was rising and you were chiding her for bashing. I have added more shares in .003's the past couple of trading days. My position cost is barely 2K but I've purchased shares fairly cheaply.
I do not know why you would think I didn't believe you about the price dropping from .01 since my posts at the time of the reverse PR were negative about the A/S remaining at 500M. 5M would be preferable but 50M is reasonable if SOLM has some things cooking.
We'll see what happens. YOU were the one pumping SOLM based on an undervalued marketcap when it was closer to 3-4M. So what's not to like at 1M?
Fivestar - A reverse split never artificially inflates a marketcap. All it does is change the trading price of the shares commensurate with the reduction in shares due to the reverse. The marketcap remains the same.
A stock with 100M shares OS trading at a $1.00 = 100M marketcap. If there's a 1:10 reverse split the share price would be $10 with 10M shares OS = 100M marketcap.
Selling off the debt at higher prices changes nothing either. It would take fewer shares to pay of the same debt but honestly with only 5M OS after the split, SOLM will be better positioned if the debt is paid off now imo and that selling pressure is removed. Less dilution after the reverse is preferable.
Since the reduction in AS to 50M the volume has been relatively low. Also though the convertible debt sellers are being forced to sell here, why hasn't the stock traded much lower with heavier volume? Do you have any explanation for why the volume has remained low in spite of the recent negative news? You've made no comments about volume or charts as SOLM has dropped, though you were full of such information when the price was moving higher.
As for chapter 11, I can't believe you would even propose this as SOLM's "best" option. So are you still in SOLM and just hoping for a miracle or out of SOLM and hoping to buy back in lower than .003.
SOLM marketcap still 1M here with 300M OS. Last reported new contract was 500K. Revenues should still come in near 10M for 2008. It will be very interesting to see what SOLM says about growth for 2009.
Thanks to you and grande. Slightly more buys than sells. Nice change on higher volume. SOLM is holding its own imo.
Could you post the buys to sells Fivestar? I don't know how to get them.
Cameronmon - Then I wouldn't think you will need to watch closely for the next few months and thank you for the clarification. I'm glad you see there is potential for this to be the first R/S to ever benefit a company. Personally I also hope to see you as a SOLM buyer in several months at higher prices.
Cameronman - Your first sentence says you have never seen a R/S benefit a company with emphasis on NEVER. Why would you be looking for an entry again?
Fivestar - It's a little late for the drama. Initially many pointed all of this out when the AS remained at 500M and you were not nearly as negative. Now they've reduced it to 50M. That was a step in the right direction. We still don't know the outcome of anything and the same positives remain that existed weeks ago.
As I said before, newbies know what has happened. I am one of them. So let the newbies speak for themselves. You seem to shouting to a fairly quiet crowd.
Fivestar - you can delete this message but I think you should remove yourself as a moderator. You are far too emotional to be moderating this board imo.
Fivestar - volume appears very low. Not much dumping of shares considering the recent news. I doubt you want to appear to be fearmongering by trying to predict .001 as a new price target. SOLM can also move back to .01 in the next few days. The legal conference is scheduled for Mar 4th if I recall and buying interest may return ahead of that event.
I think most investors and traders know the story and can judge where they are willing to take any new positions. Watching closely for another buy maybe this week. Willing to wait for the real news next month. All just my opinion .
Fivestar-I appreciate your trying to keep it real for SOLM shareholders. I feel there's still potential here. As we have seen already fortunes can change quickly in either direction.
Agree Oniro - Thanks for posting. This removes a very large cloud over SOLM shares. Combine the potential for government money and SOLM's steadily growing business, and the need for future dilution will be minimized. Any dilution can be utilized for good causes such as acquisitions. The reverse split if implemented is now looking like a much better strategy.
Any possible gains from an out of court settlement is now truly the icing on a very sweet cake.
Buy low sell high? At least I hope so. Stimulus bill should get signed today and maybe that will light a spark under SOLM again.
It's a very quiet board now. Lower orders have filled except for one. I hope you're right Kitty.
