San Diego newspaper.
I completely agree. Let them bring back in a bean-counter when they have more beans that need to be counted (no offence to the accountants on board). An accountant is important to auditors (accountants), but not important to a struggling start-up tech company. The necessary tech people will be ONEV's priority right now. They need only to keep the books "good enough".
On the other hand, "the person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it".
Perhaps, but NITE is astonishingly predictable.
Boy......watch NITE hold it down EOD.
MMs predictably suspicious/irregular as well.
I could make more money betting on the daily play in the current MM game. Sad situation when a Canadian health care professional with no substantive background in investment can predict so accurately the intra-day/daily moves of so many MMs. I will be delighted when I am proven wrong......assuming I am proven wrong in the correct direction......smile.
NITE once again controlling bid/ask. Take a pill everyone. It may be a tough week again.
Dean also doesn't have a lot of personnel to explain every little detail to us. They are trying to do a huge job with minimal resources. Ooops......you already said that.
The company has done whatever they needed to do to stay alive, including get into bed with some nasty funders.
I can't fault Dean for that. Most would have folded long ago.
Long-term, if Dean wins, we'll all be laughing and raving about what a genius he was.
Conversions for cheap. You are not the only one proposing that explanation here. Like you, I am no expert. But that explanation by others makes sense, if you just watch the action play out. Others have also said it will continue for another week.
Apparently the critical point is to keep the closing bid above .013, to keep the conversion price above a penny. It is amazing to watch the MMs move the bid below .013 during the day and then move it back up to .013 just before the close.
Good thing I'm not paranoid.
It is also worth noting that this is the same company it was a week ago. The pps has dropped. There could be many reasons for that.....not all of them doomsday scenarios.
I'm still here and I'm staying.
We traded less than 3,000,000 shares. Far from dumping.
So you did but getting your knickers in a knot is not helpful, other than perhaps protecting you from the smoke.
Or trying to get the closing bids lower for conversion purposes.
If this analysis is correct, then would there not be a concerted effort by the funders to get the closing bids lower today and tomorrow, as we are currently seeing?? The current manipulation could be predicted, and is related to funder issues.
OT: I believe I said I was a "woman"......not sure that is always the same thing as a "lady" (another debate, another day). However, gentlemanly post accepted with pleasure.
PS.......I've said before......I would love to have this program on my Dell laptop for work travel.
Thanks for clarification. Much appreciated.
I am a VERY patient woman but this experience is a little like watching grass grow and occasionally even feels like fingernails on a chalkboard......LOL.
Should follow my own advice and "take a pill".....smile.
Tenacity is worth everything!! And this company, and CEO, is nothing if not tenacious. And I appreciate that tenacity.
I think many of us have been assuming that the Tier 1 bundle would include the remote. Sounds like that may be an unsafe assumption. Although I thought many of the OEMs were waiting for the remote, but perhaps only for purposes of bundling the software. Perhaps the remote would still have to be purchased as an add-on.
NITE is also back with a 10000 lock on the bid/ask.
Lots of posters this weekend shooting off in all directions......smile.
Citigroup is not much better than NITE. Between SBSH and NITE, they pretty much tie up the stock.
Will do so.
Veno - I believe you and have observed the same over the past year or more. But your concern and your letter to the SEC.....forgive a typical mental health worker's question......why now??
Yes, yesterday was dramatic, but it was not the first time it has happened. So your concern and action.....why now??
I am not being critical......just curious. I will happily co-sign your letter.
I expect the eventual resolution of the funding situation to be the biggest news of all.
I really think Dean has better things to do with his time and energy.
Just saw a new Gateway/Vista commercial that did not mention anything about MC/MCC. Don't know if that means we can count Gateway out.
I have put all my faith in you and my crystal ball, because you are never wrong. My crystal ball has a somewhat more spotty track record, but is balanced by your all-knowing omnipotence.....LOL. Go mojo!!
It was posted about 1 - 2 weeks ago by veno, I think. You'd have to go back and check the posts.
I'm hoping your Feb. guess doesn't go up in smoke!!
I'll guess Lenovo then, just to spread it around. The ONEV team made a recent visit to China, where Lenovo is manufactured.
HP kind of makes sense to me though. But so do Dell and Gateway.
How's that for covering my bets.....LOL.
Yes.....sigh.....I know that too, but I can dream, can't I.....including about $1000 shares......LOL.
Yes......sigh......I know. It is clear the role some of the MMs play in the overall scheme of things. PERT is one that plays the same role over and over again.
Good for a laugh or morale, or both. After hours, PERT lists 500 shares for sale at $1000.02/share.
Forgive an ignorant Canadian who doesn't follow football but isn't there a huge marketing opportunity coming up this Sunday in the US with a captive bunch of couch potatoes fantasizing about how they can enhance their own personal home media centers?
I am not suggesting that ONEV itself can afford such advertising slots.
Yes. I saw that too. Many thanks.
Thanks for clarification. I also do not see any bundles yet anywhere. However, Dell makes reference a few places, including on mobile devices, that the item will support "voice recognition applications and voip", though it does not specify yet which voice recognition applications.

My apologies. I don't know how to paste the link so you can just click on it. Well.....on preview it looks like the link works. We'll see.
I searched Gateway site......found nothing resembling a reference to ONEV/MCC.
Searched Dell site.......MCC and ONEV easy to find and as I chased links to home computers under Vista Premium, I found a photo of a couple with a remote that looks pretty close to ours.
