Eyeamgame, Here's a taste:
"The letter follows a call from President Barack Obama for the Senate to pass legislation that moves the U.S. toward a “clean energy economy.” Such legislation should include “a price on carbon pollution” to limit the emissions from coal, oil and natural gas consumption that scientists have linked to climate change, Obama said yesterday in Pittsburgh. The disaster in the Gulf, as horrific as it is, may be a catalylist.
The US, Australia and China, have all draged their heals.
You're as lodgical as suspenders and a belt on a pair of pants.
Not a bad thing.
Calculate the impact of a US carbon credit act...Climate Bill....Energy Bill.
Very much on my mind.
Any knucklehead would send a six inch pipe with an expandable bladder (ballon) if they thought rubber would take the frozen
climate of those depths.
Use a two part polymer to expand the bladder that will interact and expand if the bladder fails. Like insulation, Home Freekin' Depo.
I'm about pissed at the whole opperation.

Great advice, Low.
You've got a good perspective on it.
This changes the way I'll trade in the future.
Thank you again.
You're right. Buy a little, sell a little. I just never compleatly sold out. Free shares and added since October.

BP's new plan for the leak.

Looks complicated, sealing grommet? How do ya seal anything in sub-freezing temps?
With methanol to keep ice crystals out?
I imagined a tapered pipe: female to male connection.
I'll bet they're uncertain about the intgrity of the stack and the
telescoping pipes underneath. The reaming action would put a strain on the sea bed and new leaks would appear.
The seal between the drill pipe and the bore wall was never confirmed. (and BP should have stoped at that point)
That's why they won't shut it down if this works.
This is one hairy eye-ball of a plan. BP wouldn't do it, I'll bet,
unless they were under a lotta pressure.
Gonna do some crab and shrimp today. Here's hoping there's more of the same comming from the Gulf.
Just a little cloud cover, picking up moisture off West Atlantic.

SGCP Sierra Gold Corp. takes all my interest.
Can you offer any insight?
The date on the bottem of the document is '2009-03-17'. It was filled electronicly.
Received---04/01/2010
First date of sale was '2007-08-13'
I imagin shares were sold between the two dates (2007-2009)?...perhaps?
Rule 505 just means they can sell to any good looking, inteligent,
forward thinking invester who might favor buying such equity.
(like me and you)
Maybe it's something simple like more workers, more sites, distance between sites, we're getting more complex.
It's good to see the Pres come back.
Thanks to the way you answered Croaker, I HATE the word dilution
but financing debt is even worse than selling shares.
As time goes by the company may R/S.
I'm not afraid of reverse split with valuable assets.
They clean ships too. Long shot.
One contract and the roof blows off.
It means SGCP will continue to grow.
There's a lotta negativity associated with the sale of shares.
I'd love to see acquisition without FINANCING.
This is a company developing. That's what we do- aquire and expand.
BCLE looks like a DOG.
I put a couple bucks on it.
Wall Street Journal-pgA6:
Gulf Oil Spill
".....the guidelines require that a rig worker attemting to contain a gass emergency
had to call two senior rig officials before deciding what to do.
One of them was in the shower during the critical minutes,
according to several crew members."
It goes on to say the officials had to go to the Rig Floor and agree to shut the thing down. Of course, the area is in flames.
Pages A6 and A7 give an account of the events, in the words of the crew, that led to the Deepwater Horizon sinking the next day.
You'll have to pay the $2 for the paper to read the artical.

'Top kill' plugs gulf oil leak, official says
Drilling fluid has blocked oil and gas, U.S. Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen says. Engineers plan to begin pumping in cement and then will seal the well.
By Jim Tankersley, Los Angeles Times
7:04 AM PDT, May 27, 2010
Reporting from Houma, La. —
Engineers have stopped the flow of oil and gas into the Gulf of Mexico from a gushing BP well, the federal government's top oil-spill commander, U.S. Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, said Thursday morning.
The "top kill" effort, launched Wednesday afternoon by industry and government engineers, had pumped enough drilling fluid to block oil and gas spewing from the well, Allen said. The pressure from the well was very low, he said, but persisting.
Once engineers had reduced the well pressure to zero, they were to begin pumping cement into the hole to entomb the well. To help in that effort, he said, engineers also were pumping some debris into the blowout preventer at the top of the well.
As of early Thursday morning, neither government nor BP officials had declared the effort a success yet, pending the completion of the cementing and sealing of the well.
Allen said one ship that was pumping fluid into the well had run out of the fluid, or "mud," and that a second ship was on the way. He said he was encouraged by the progress.
"We'll get this under control," he said.
Allen also said that, later Thursday, an interagency team would release a revised estimate of how much oil had flowed from the well into the gulf before the "top kill" effort began. The Coast Guard had estimated the flow at 5,000 barrels a day, but independent estimates suggested it was much higher, perhaps tens of thousands of barrels a day.

Gulf Oil Spill---
By Eduard Gismatullin
May 27 (Bloomberg) -- BP Plc jumped as much as 6.6 percent in London trading after the Los Angeles Times reported that the top kill process has been able to stop oil and gas flowing into the Gulf of Mexico from a damaged well.
BP spokesman Robert Wine was unable to confirm the report.

An observation with a reasonable explanation---
The fact he went back if it is true means there are still things happening there and there is still things to do.
Damn! I wish I had more answers.
not Truelove? opposite sides of the same coin.
That would be me who wrote that.
Some need a title to feel important
Some need to talk to important people

Thanks Truelove, a PR would be nice, fingers crossed.
I think it's great that anybody can e-mail any company and there's someone there who responds. But it's just chit-chat.
No company rep or CEO can be candid about the internal affairs of the company. Quarterly report---yes. Required.
And if they didn't support the company with a positive attitude
maybe they should look for other work.
I wouldn't want to be a part of any board who would have the likes of me as a member!
A man has his limmits. LOL
You're a gentleman. Now that it's over, let's get up in the .002's!
Words..'sell' is a trade made at the bid.
The new buyers came in yesterday and drove the price up.
This is something ugly that isn't price discovery/risk reward pricing.
Like lookin' at an elephant though a microscope.
Something big happened and all I can see is gray.
I'm guessing it's a short cover. They like this .0015 & 16 range.
Holdin back the tide, I think.
