Thanks. I poked around on HPGS this weekend. Liked what I saw.
Appreciate the tip.
Greetings, I am new to this board.
GLUU has been on a phenomenal run for months.
Does anyone think it can keep this up? If so, why?
Heywoody and Imperial Whazoo,
Very promising information on SFMI.
But, when I check the SEC filings it looks as if they are way late on their quarterly.
Any thoughts?
Heywoody,
If you haven't already done so, seems that it would be a good idea if Gleason at RAPT got in touch with the SFMI President. A collaborative effort would appear to be lucrative for both parties.
Perhaps you could add this to your list of things to discuss with Gleason. In fact, this might be something that will grab Gleason's attention.
Imperial Whazoo ... excellent DD and putting 2 and 2 together methinks. Heywoody is trying to contact CEO of RAPT, do you have contact with CEO of SFMI? Just a thought.
osu78,
You can't find a quote because some bonehead (me!) mis-typed the symbol.
It is HPGS not HPSG.
My bad.
If he plays nice (like he did earlier today with the HPSG post) I will respond in kind. In fact, look at some of his posts on the HPSG board. Very different from what we saw here. We don't have to agree and we certainly don't have to hug each other, but we ought be able to respect each other and be civil. Might even learn something. So I will leave the door cracked and hope he joins us in the quest for dough.
Otherwise, mum's the word. Ain't playing a war of words. I enjoy a good laugh as good as anyone but gain nothing from vindictive stuff.
Good luck next week guys and/or girls. Sure wish Gleason would contact Heywoody with some info sometime soon.
My goodness ... you were a whole penny off! Please do better next time! Really, on what did you base what turned out to be a dead on call?
Hey, what's your take on next week? Anyone think this is a reversal? If so, why?
Be nice to know for sure why this happened last minute.
Was anyone out there brave enough to buy back in at .39? I know I wasn't.
Thanks Gas
Got it.
I certainly understand your points. But he is still a distractor who would probably take his ball elsewhere if we just ignored him.
I respect everyone's right to handle this as they see fit. Was just tossing an approach out in case others might see utility in it.
Fellow RAPT Boarders,
I certainly cannot speak for each of you, but I personally am being distracted by the never ending stream of back and forth trash talk recently. I have promised myself that I will no longer even respond to "gasbaron's" posts. I don't get email like what he posts but if I did, I would simply delete it unread (or read it for a chuckle and then delete it). I can't delete posts I don't care for here but I can ignore then. But I certainly do not exchange in verbal fisticuffs on my email, why do it here?.
I learned long ago that it takes at least 2 people to have an argument. Can I suggest that we all simply ignore his posts and move on with our information and opinion exchange?
Most of us have strong positive feelings about RAPT going forward but let's face it ... none of us truly know if RAPT will become the company we think it can become. Just as "gasbaron" does not truly know that there is nothing here for the long term.
I do not happen to be a short seller ... something that I personally don't know a lot about. If "gasbaron" is truly successful using his approach, I urge him to share his techniques so we can all learn. I always try to keep an open mind on these boards. The one trait we all share is to assume risk to make a buck or two. Why not share and we all prosper or at least better understand the opposing view? I would welcome meaningful discussion from both the short and long sides of this.
But, until "gasbaron" chooses to participate rather than denigrate ... well I ain't playing that game. Hope some of you will join my boycott.
My 2 cents worth. There ... I even gave "gasbaron" an opening to make some snide remark like "that's probably all you have left." If he takes the bait and fires back, I promise to ignore it.
We all need to take a chill pill. Whenever I read a particularly offensive post I consider the source and think of a sign I once saw in a novelty shop ... "Your Village Called - Their Idiot Is Missing."
Try this ... looks like they finally started actually populating their website. I had been on this site several days ago and there was very little here.
http://www.raptortechnologygroup.com/general.php_category=Raptor+Company+IR=management.php
Good luck! I got smoked on KDKB about 2 years ago, then stumbled across some posts by "boundas" a few days ago. He has high basis in both KDKN and TAMO an was following COUGF based on possible impact on those other stocks. I personally believe it is a fairy tale.
Maybe I am wrong but I trust Ernest Schotter (analyst) about as far as I can throw him.
And this. 300K in paid promotion and Person himself received 7500 for writing the piece that follows ... actual piece is glossy and colorful. Just suggesting you do some good DD here.

Middle East erupts. Oil spikes.
BEST WAY TO PROFIT:
Cougar Oil & Gas Canada (COUGF).
Up 160% over the last 60 days, this $3.75 stock is expected to jump to $10.56 by summer. But that analysis was made a week before Egypt erupted into deadly chaos. Now, with oil racing to $150 a barrel...

Fellow boarders ... I received a pump email from IHub this AM regarding COUGF. Suspect many of you did as well.
A big word of caution in case you are tempted.
Over the past week or 10 days I have posted a number of thoughts on the COUGF board. Same handle of EboJr in case you are interested.
Looks like to me that the same pumpers (SISM, Schlotter, etc.) who convinced many to invest in KDKN (several pumps over several years, one as recently as last Fall) and TAMO are doing the same with COUGF.
Admittedly, COUGF has done quite nicely recently and hopefully some of you have made some bucks on it (I am not personally invested). However, my sensing is the pumpers are trying to convince you the Middle East turmoil is a godsend for COUGF. If you leap do so with the knowledge that COUGF is producing 200 barrels of oil a day, not quite enough to replace Libya's one million plus barrels a day of light sweet crude. Egypt, by the way, produces very little oil.
Just my opinion. Be careful.
Once again, I posted a lot more info and thoughts on the COUGF board over the past several weeks.
Anyone have a read on COUGF? Ihub is touting them this AM.
COUGF has had a nice run last couple of weeks and pulled back yesterday.
However, the same SISM analysts and management team (Tighe, etc.) that pumped KDKN on multiple occasions ("this stock is worth billions") have cost a lot of trusting souls a lot of money. TAMO is theirs also.
Why should any of us believe COUGF is for real ... with a daily production of a staggering 200 barrels per day, not likely COUGF will jump into the breech caused by big issues in Middle East. Egypt is not a major oil producer and even Libya produces only 2% of the world's supply ... admittedly the coveted high quality light sweet crude.
My sensing is we are only seeing another round of pumping designed only to part you and your money. IMO.
I've got an open mind ... convince me otherwise. But I urge you to be careful when SISM analyst Schlotter is touted as follows on the IhHub email this AM:
"One prominent analyst, Ernest Schlotter, just upped the price target on COUGF to $10.56, a price it could reach within the next 18 months. And that analysis was done before chaos broke out in Egypt.
Now, that $10.56 target looks tame."
I am not aware that any of Schlotter's supposed analysis has ever come to fruition. To me he is prominent only as a pump artist. I made the big mistake of believing
If you jump into this, do so with extreme caution.
You had me fooled! Thought you were headed on a search and destroy mission.
Interesting read. At what point do you think we should tighten our seat belts and start accumulating back into RAPT?
Of course, we still need some feedback from RAPT itself that Woody is trying to get.
P.S for Oscar --- you can do it ... stifle the urge to write him back.
Good start Woody.
Oscar ... this guy ain't worth your time. Make money, don't war with him. He is nothing but a distraction.
Thanks. I actually got close to buying some TVIX this AM but my brokerage firm required me to accept several disclosures that made me realize I did not know what I was buying. So I backed off. I will be better prepared next time.
Pretty sure that 0.5 percent is one half of one percent, not 5 per cent.
Thanks for the tip. Was not at all familiar with TVIX or your track record of posts for that matter so I had to do some DD. Not my style to jump blindly into something without checking it out.
Quite a lot of info out there on the VIX series including TVIX.
At this point I wonder what legs are remaining.
In addition, why do you project 60 bucks a pop? How do you come up with that.
Good luck on your research.
Not saying you are wrong, but I have no expertise at all in this area.
Woody,
Not sure I agree that this means RAPT has applied to be listed on NASDAQ. In fact, based on your post, RAPT doesn't come close to qualifying based on revenue and a host of other qualifiers.
Plus the threshhold list seems to be some sort of list of short sellers who failed to cover or something like that. As if something bad is about to happen to someone or some company.
But I must admit I am not familiar with this sort of thing.
Yeah, I understand completely. I have drafted numerous responses to this character just to let off some internal steam.
Then I cancel them before I post them.
Fellow boarders ... I suggest that we not waste any more time responding to "gasbaron".
It's like wrestling with a pig ... you both get dirty and the pig loves it.
He contributes nothing to this board and is content to belittle others as his sole function in life.
We have better things to do with our time.
Heywoody ... do we have grounds to get this guy's board privileges revoked? His posts have consistently belittled others and are downright abusive. Seems to violate Terms of Service.
We are of one mind. I am staying tuned in on this puppy! I realize some may have lost on the drop and I am sorry for that. I made a buck but I certainly am not going to gloat and rub it in as a certain poster does.
Finding the rare diamond in the rough is what investing is all about in my book. RAPT certainly has possibilities so I am going to continue to look and listen even if I am not currently invested in RAPT.
I actually prefer getting in on a good company early. VISX - the makers of the hugely successful Lasik machine - was my first big long term winner years ago. And it started as a penny stock. Of course, I am not always right. And, quite honestly, RAPT may not turn out as we hope. But I am willing to stay tuned on it.
But we are also not the rubes that gasbaron seems to think we are. We can play the game just like he can but also think to the future.
P.S. - Did some minor edits on my last post. Tightened it up a bit.
Thanks for saying what many of us were thinking Oscar. I, for one, do not care to engage in back and forth with the all knowing one.
As the rest of us understand, RAPT may have the potential for a bright future and long term investment as their technologies come on line. If at the end of the day RAPT does not succeed, it may be because their technologies turn out not to be as effective as hoped for. But we collectively have put a ton of DD in this puppy with lots more to follow. As a group (less one) I think we see the possibility of good things ahead for RAPT. I for one will track this carefully in case it turns into a ground floor opportunity.
We know how the penny game is played as well as he does. I personally made a nice sum playing the game by getting in at .45 but got out at .84 and am now patiently waiting for a reentry point. But after I got out I stayed tuned in then I got started liking what I was learning. However, whereas your sparring partner simply discards the stock after the fall and incorrectly assumes that we all got hammered, most of us see something more.
If it turns out that Tom Gleason refuses to have a discourse with Heywoody or if the next 10-Q shows no progress, then that might be time to move on for good. But I am staying current with this board because I share what many of us do ... that this might be the rare penny that is more than a pump and dump. It is rare that I have run across a penny that really may blossom ... RAPT just may be one. Big successful companies have to start somewhere. But they are hard to find ... there is ample evidence that RAPT could turn out to be one of the few.
Let's hope the all knowing one takes his smugness elsewhere. He adds nothing to this board.
Thanks for the post. Had not seen this yet.
Certainly seems positive to this layman.
Looks like next 10-Q is scheduled for release in the mid April timeframe. Very interested in seeing what the 2000 ton capacity plant is producing. News of actual production will be a real boost I would think.
Heywoody ... if you do get through to Tom Gleason, would you ask him why even today's release still lists a non-functioning email address?
I'm still a freebie also. I'll take a look at KNKT.
Heywoody,
KNKT sure looks like it has been on a sustained run since Nov 10. What makes you think it still has legs?
Regarding RAPT ... big drop will happen when the Brady Bunch (think there were 8 of them as I recall) start dumping!
If this sucker heads way south then delay re-entry.
Don't you just love some of these more recent posts?
May well be some buying opportunities later today across the board given the negative pressure being caused by political upheaval throughout much of the Arab world. Libyan situation is quickly going from bad to worst. Egypt not a major oil producer but Libya certainly is.
Could be a pretty rough opening I would think. IMO.
Well said Oscar!
I realize this stock could crash and burn ... but certainly not because of your detailed and incisive analysis or the Brady Bunch.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion ... just like to know what it is based on. So far you have not provided one shred of justification that we can look at.
Enough of this, already.
You haven't a clue who I am.
Heywoody,
I'm East Coast. Gots to walk the dog before the snow gets too deep. Signing off until tomorrow AM. Will dream about where the dots lead me.
Let's see what happens tomorrow.
EboJr
Heywoody,
If you enter Raptor Investments in this State of Nevada website your learn its license was permanently revoked in 1997. OMG, Joe thinks we are talking about a company that croaked 14 years ago.
Completely different story if you enter Raptor Technology or Raptor Technology Group.
You will also recall that based on SEC docs RAPT is in fact registered in NV as many companies are for the favorable tax treatment it gives them.
The older version of RAPT did, perhaps still has (I forget) have offices in Canada as well as the main one in Florida.
That's my take and I am sticking to it.
Seems by connecting Joe's dots all I get is a headache. Isn't it wonderful he entered at the last minute to save us from ourselves? I'll be the first to admit I still am being very cautious about RAPT ... but not because of JoeC.
Joe ... you are welcome to participate as everyone is on this board. But, puleeze, do a little basic research.
Fondly - Your Kids
Thanks for informing us all that Raptor Investment's license was permanently revoked in 1997. My gosh, that would be a terrible investment.
Suggest you check how RAPT is registered on the OTCBB. Raptor Investments it ain't.
JoeCLives,
You are certainly entitled to your opinion of course. One of the main purposes of these boards is the frank exchange of information so we can all learn a bit and consider various points of view. Obviously you think RAPT should be avoided. You may be right but you could also be wrong. Why have you concluded this? Unfortunately statements like "to the moon," "run for your life" and "the only thing these guys are going to process is your money" are not very helpful.
It would be helpful if you told us what you based your opinion on. The Brady Bunch video doesn't tell me anything.
