"its all the babies here whinning on things they think should be done and when.'
During this morning's EngageLogic/Go800 Ambassadosr Meeting
webinar there was a participant's baby occasionaly crying
in the background. I remarked that it sounded like the Ihub board.
It was greeted with knowing chuckles of approval!
(The meeting was about administrative matters dealing with 'self-provisoning' capabilities being added to the Go800 web site.)
"Not sure if this has been discussed, but I'm guessing they are a paying customer..."
No need to guess. I am confirming that they are a paying customer for those two brands and for a partial Brand by Area code program 'test' that is well underway.
Commissions for that sale will be direct deposited in my checking account today, 45 days after billing, as promised by Go800.
"...then read about the company they have hired to make this a mobile app."
I think that is a balanced and well thought out assessment of where we are now with this Web App, and what has to happen to make it a downloadable App with an icon.
Meanwhile we can await the wider availability of voice to text technology and watch as the advertising for it further drives texting.
3.) Voice to text on T-Mobile MYTOUCH phone.
Nuance states that their Voice Control application is 'platform agnostic', which suggests that after a period of exclusivity it will become more widely available.
"Sources tell me MEGA news is due out tomorrow,..."
Don't even think of continuing with that kind of crap on this board.
And the rest of you don't dignify it by calling for 'proof'.
You've all seen this kind of post before.
"(that is what the poo means)
(kinda like "da $h1t")"
Yeah, as we've seen ambiguity, irony, satire and slang ALWAYS are more readily understood than clarity is on this board!

YoYo, If you were waiting to go in and buy some briefs we definitely don't want to know that. Definitely.

Kmart Sues Rain Man for Slander Over “Kmart Sucks!” Comment
By Chad Haskell • Jul 1st, 2009 • Section: Movies
Hoffman Estates, IL – In what is sure to become a very high profile case, Kmart, a subsidiary of the Sears Holding Corporation, has filed a lawsuit against Raymond “Rain Man” Babbitt.
The company claims that after “Rain Man”, the 1988 documentary film about Babbit’s life in which he uttered the words “Kmart sucks”, their stock and sales headed into a downward spiral. They claim this spiral resulted in a loss of revenue, continually poor stock performance, the closure of many of its retail stores, and its eventual takeover by Sears Holding Corporation.
A Kmart employee, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “Our founder, Sebastian S. Kresge would have rolled over in his grave if he would have heard all the offensive things that window licker said about the company he [Kresge] worked so hard to build.”
As stated in the lawsuit filed last Friday by the firm Bendini, Lambert and Locke, acting attorney Mitch McDeere said, “Raymond Babbitt slandered Kmart locally, nationally and worldwide when he uttered those now famous words and our company’s performance has suffered ever since.”
Protests outside the Walbrook Hospital where Babbitt resides remained relatively peaceful as laid-off former Kmart employees gathered carrying signs that read “Raymond is a Card Counter” and “Who’s on first?”. However, things escalated slightly when patients at the hospital started chanting “Hot water burn baby!” and hurling smoke detectors at the crowd of former employees.
Raymond Babbitt was not available for comment because he was out driving slow on the driveway. However, his representative, who wished only to be referred to as “Vern” had this prepared statement: “Raymond, who only heard about this frivolous lawsuit on 97X, BAM!! The Future of Rock and Roll, feels he definitely is not at fault for the substandard quality in Kmart’s products over the years and plans to file a counter suit. Furthermore, Raymond would like to go on record and say that he only buys his size 32 Hanes boxer shorts from the Kmart located at 400 Oak St. in Cincinnati.”
Vern also said that Mr. Babbitt will be recording this lawsuit in his red book as a “serious injury” and is looking forward to bringing his case before Wapner.
"APPL is not ticker AAPL is ticker!"
Exactly. APPL is the reserved and functioning, paid for OR otherwise, 'brand'. As such it is not area code dependent.
It was so reserved to distinguish it from the generic 'apple'.
'ID Supermoney'
'Up there' all you'll be able to do, either with the HTC if available or the Android app, is demo the increased ease of texting while articulating about the phone call that will result when Go800 arrives.
Yeah, Doone and I work together...more and more. Send em along!

"The T-Mobile Genius Button is powered by the Nuance Voice Control platform, the industry’s first platform-agnostic mobile solution...."
Before this month concludes there will be three ways to text to G0800:
1.) Conventional keypad entry.
2.) Android app with touch pad entry and storage of sent text key words and the Go800 #
3.) Voice to text on T-Mobile MYTOUCH phone.
Nuance states that their Voice Control application is 'platform agnostic', which suggests that after a period of exclusivity it will become more widely available.
IMO voice to text is the breakthrough app that will make Go800 more widely understood and accepted as the easiest and fastest way to connect.

NUANCE ADVANCED SPEECH CAPABILITIES DEBUT ON NEW T-MOBILE MYTOUCH 3G SLIDE
New Genius Button Feature Enables ‘One-Button’ Voice Control of Favorite Apps, Dragon Dictation for Messaging and Text-to-Speech for Hands-Free Message Readback
BURLINGTON, MA – May 4, 2010 Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) today announced its innovative natural language speech technology is featured on the new T-Mobile® myTouch 3G™ Slide, the latest Android™-powered phone from T-Mobile USA, Inc.
The myTouch 3G Slide introduces T-Mobile’s Genius Button™ built on Nuance’s intuitive speech platform. The first of its kind the Genius Button provides consumers one-button voice access to control the phone and its features including many of the mobile applications they use most – making calls, sending emails and text messages, searching the Web, finding businesses and directions, and much more.
The phone incorporates a revolutionary, pervasive voice interface that works right out of the box – no apps to download, no premium download fees or recurring monthly charges for use of the voice interface. Nuance’s successful Dragon Dictation is also embedded on the smartphone for fast and easy text dictation in any text field, and includes a convenient text-to-speech powered feature for readback of incoming messages.
Nuance-powered voice-enabled features on the phone include:
Genius Button: An easy-to-access button on the front of the new T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide allowing the use of voice commands to control the phone. The button is enabled via Nuance’s intuitive speech technology that takes advantage of advancements in natural language understanding to allow users to say an entire command in just one shot – making it faster and easier to use their favorite applications and services. For example, just say:
§ “Call Alex Jones at Home.”
§ “Send Text to John Smith. I’ve got tickets to the Dodgers game tonight, you in?”
§ “Search for Recipes for Chocolate Cake.”
§ “Find Sushi Restaurants near me”
§ “Find Directions to 1 Wayside Drive, Burlington, Massachusetts.”
§ “Show me the Calendar”
§ And more.
The T-Mobile Genius Button is powered by the Nuance Voice Control platform, the industry’s first platform-agnostic mobile solution that seamlessly wraps embedded and connected speech capabilities into one amazing mobile experience. The result is faster and more accurate results that are optimized for the individual device.
Through the Genius Button users can also activate a feature that uses Nuance’s text-to-speech technology to read incoming email and text messages when reading them manually isn’t convenient. When the feature is enabled users are alerted when a message is received, and can advise verbally whether or not they want it read aloud, and if they’d like to respond.
Dragon Dictation: The myTouch 3G Slide features Dragon Dictation to easily and quickly speak your text up to five times faster in any text field, regardless of whether it’s an email, text message, calendar, Twitter application or Web browser. Dragon Dictation leverages the core speech technology found in the renowned PC-based Dragon NaturallySpeaking dictation software.
“In partnering with Nuance, a leader in speech technology, we’ve been able to create a new experience which makes it easier for our customers to stay connected with the important people in their lives,” said Andrew Sherrard, vice president, product development, T-Mobile USA. “Our consumers now have the ability to easily and quickly communicate with their favorite people through text and e-mail with the push of one button and the sound of their voice.”
Michael Thompson, senior vice president and General Manager, Nuance Mobile said, “We believe the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide’s speech capabilities are perhaps the most innovative examples of how speech will elevate the mobile experience. T-Mobile is truly taking advantage of our connected and embedded natural language capabilities to bring an incredibly unique Android device and one-of-a-kind consumer experience to market. Now T-Mobile consumers have one-button, one-shot speech access for messaging, finding directions, accessing information on the Web – and it’s all available right out of the box.”
The MyTouch 3G Slide also features MyAccount 3.0 powered by Nuance Mobile Care, which provides users with the ability to easily access and manage account information directly from their phone. In fact, users can even open MyAccount right from the Genius Button, making it even faster and simpler for users to get real-time information about their account.
Availability
The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide is expected to be available in June, exclusively from T-Mobile USA in three colors- black, white or red. Customers can visit http://mytouch.t-mobile.com/ for more information.
Nuance’s open speech and predictive text solutions enable today’s leading wireless carriers and handset manufacturers to easily customize and quickly bring-to-market advanced speech and text capabilities for today’s fastest growing mobile platforms, such as Android. Only Nuance speech technology is based on the world renowned Dragon speech technologies used by millions of people on their PCs, mobile phones and other consumer electronics
"If one of the names listed is big, we might see a positive effect on the PPS"
More intriguingly, if a company has popped for the trading symbol how hard would it be to move to a brand contract.
There is no evidence of such a move as yet by Apple, either in their ads or on their contacts page. However they certainly like 800 vanity numbers, which should make for an easy transition!
http://www.apple.com/contact/
"What do you make of Apple on service??
Tickers have to be paid for correct??"
Yes, as far as I know Ike is NOT conducting trials with ticker symbols. Hope he secured $25K in Apple stock!
"I think we were told only ones that are on are paying!!!"
Time for a refresher. No one was ever 'told' that companies that have 'live' key words are necessarily paying. Trials continue, and Ambassador discretion rules as to when a trial must end and when a contract is required. As you can easily imagine the company doing the trial has the leverage in this 'dance'.
"I think we all have most certainly learn this with President Obama teaching all that the INTELLECT he possess is no substitute for WISDOM."
You must have been in hog heaven, and as quiet and acquiescent as a mouse pissing on cotton, when we had a President who possessed neither intellect NOR wisdom.
"if they leased SUMOTEXT from go800, their customers could text SUMOTEXT to 46800 and be connected immediately."
Funny how a company with an alleged "...call back feature" would omit any mention of that fact, let alone not be urging people to use it to connect with them.
So, are you going to reserve 'sumotext' or should I? I mean just for the sport of it! "Give your customers an easy way to reach you to opt out of what have to be an extremely annoying barrage of marketing text messages..."
"IMO go800 is a shared short code with a call back feature. there are other companies that offer this feature. one such company is sumotext. therefore i believe if the patent was approved it would immediately be challenged in court due to prior art."
You're at least the second poster today to assert something that has no factual basis. The first poster assumed that a collective 4 year news blackout had kept the 'Asian version' of Go800 from reaching the newsmedia of the rest of the world.
Your misinformation just completely misses the point that there is no 'text to connect/speak' capability for the sumotext service and that it's an opt in marketing tool. Inserting 'IMO' and 'JMO'
doesen't relieve you of the responsibility for posting this kind of nonsense.
http://www.sumotext.com/QA.html
(Our software only sends and receives SMS over a Short Code and only allows you to send text messages to customers who have opted-in to your program.)
The Power of a Short Code
When your customer opts-in to your marketing campaign or alert service:
You've identified someone very likely to buy, attend, or participate
You've received permission to send them text messages
You can reach them instantly - anytime and anywhere - with a 95% read rate
You can send exclusive offers and promotions to your entire KEYWORD list
You can auto-organize your list into groups and schedule highly targeted campaigns and reminders
You instill trust and confidence in your service by enabling users to 'Opt-Out' at any time
"Why would then Mr Fu a Chinese investor invest in this company if it was already in Asia??"
Precisely. Additionally not a single article that has appeared About G0800, including the most recent in the NY Times, has referenced the service as being anything but new.
http://www.ecommercetimes.com/story/69945.html?wlc=1278863395
At no point in this article do you read anything like "Ike is reworking a concept that has been in use for over four years throughout Asia." Surely there would have been numerous stories about such a service, particularly when it was allegedly launched in Asia?
"(I'm not claiming this is true; it's only an example). How do you think that goes over with the NAACP?...Just a guess but I'd think the NAACP would stay away from Go800 like the plague.'
It gets out that Ike is a vegetarian. I'm S.O.L. signing up: http://beef.org/ or any steak houses!
However we remain free to 'raise a beef' on this board.
Time for lunch in Chicago!
"Because 300 keyword not necessarily equal to 100k. they could be 100 brands and 200 generic which would be like $30k + 200($100 average) = $50k"
The odds that the Generics would average out to $100 are slim and none, and we know who just left town.
773 in Chicago is $309/mo. Most major city area codes, alone or in combo, will exceed $200/mo.
"Ike said that 10 companies have subscribed to the (RECURRING) service. The recurring is important to stress. That leaves us with $50,000 (conservative) for the month of June as compared to $100,000 (high end)."
'Conservative' is the operative word. Below is the actual description of the Ticker Symbol Campaign. Note: "We will accept Company shares valued at $25,000 in lieu of the $10,000 cash payment."
I have no idea what percentage will opt for the 'stock for service' option, but even 10%-20% would skew the numbers nicely to the upside.
"We are launching a Ticker Symbol Campaign. We are targeting Public Companies to register their Ticker symbol as a Voice Keyword. The Keyword can be connected to a live Company Investor Relations person or Company recording. Companies can update Company recordings for events as often as they like. Recording will be limited to a maximum of 5 minutes.
Lease prices
Ticker Symbol is considered a Brand and will be $500 per month.
Recording Service will cost an additional $100 per month.
Note starting 2011 we will be charging .04 per minute for all connected calls.
Special Discount - 3 years at a flat rate of $10,000 + .04 per minute for connected calls.
We will accept Company shares valued at $25,000 in lieu of the $10,000 cash payment."
"Yep if theres ambassador who can close Lifetime Fitness...Its a Big Club....and its nation wide..
Thanks, it is now reserved. Note: the phone # is for their media center, Life Time Fitness Media, so I ask that it not be tested.
Every single 'contact us' entry, save for the media center and the 'club locations pages', is an email address.
LIFETIMEFITNESS (952) 229-7231
"I thought phase 2 was Expansion to Canada??"
Phases were initially discussed in terms of technology/services. I don't see geographical expansion and technology introductions as necessarily on a continuum or mutually exclusive. In other words they could happen in the same month or in consecutive months and be considered part of the same phase.
"....service like such you mention with reverse nearest location call back would be great...."
Phase II is mentioned, in this article from this past April, as a Dec '10 introduction. I've heard nothing to contradict that projected date.
http://www.tradingmarkets.com/news/press-release/goig_go800-is-officially-launched-914101.html
"....has plans to launch Phase 2 of the service by December adding more features and applications."
Phase II was described in my Ambassador training session, also in April, as including "location based capability". Brand by Area Code may be considered an intermediate step toward Phase II.
BRAND by AREA CODE
Brands can advertise a single Voice Keyword™ and have their calls routed to a different telephone number for each area code (282 area codes in the USA). Great for directing sales or customer service inquiries directly to the local number.
"Any ambassadors in Southern Cal? I have a hot lead for you...."
"Considering Listerine was around in the 1800's I doubt this guy 'invented' it."
He also invented "Extendalife" rejuvenating juice which he began taking in 1929. He never applied for a patent nor shared the apparently amazingly effective ingredients.
"Just so i am clear, it does not matter that i own shares of this company, correct? i can still be an ambassador and will not have to sell my shares?"
Correct.
"Is there an issue with an ambassador trading GOIG stock since they may be considered to have inside information?'
No more nor less than for employees of companies who have products awaiting launch, new product refinements and introductions, pending FDA approvals, etc.
Ike is very careful not to share material information that could be construed as insider info. Practically speaking, there are so many unknowns as to how news will be received by investors and traders and the impact on pps that it would be very difficult to trade successfully based upon any information imparted to Ambassadors, from what I've seen.
"I have applied to be an ambassador..."
" What types of things should I prepare myself for? what can I expect?'
First of all, did he indicate that he was sending you a contract to sign? If yes, then begin your preparation as follows:
Familiarize yourself with the web site and the video.
http://go800corp.com/page/510/how-voice-keywords-by-go800-works
Get your 'pitch' down to what is comfortable for you. Check out this part of the Ihub GOIG board for ideas:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/pitchesbyboard.aspx?board_id=8747
You will be given access to a data base entry site where you can register up to 100 brands and key words. Start thinking of companies whose brands you want to reserve. Pay attention to ads from local companies in your area, but don't limit yourself by geography. Some Ambassadors prefer to work their 'backyards'. Others of us have reserved brands from across the country. Some do both. Ike has placed an emphasis on working through advertising companies, so don't overlook your local and regional agencies.
As you make your entries you will learn which brands are already reserved. Don't get discouraged, there are plenty left.
Do NOT call companies and ask permission to reserve their brand. Reserve first, then call, then email. There is no downside to presenting a company with their reserved brand and either demoing for them or leaving them to demo it among themselves. Attempt to gain a committment for a trial period of use from those who are interested and by all means try to close them on a contract.
By doing this you'll establish a pool of prospects who will be there for you to follow up with as advertisments begin appearing from signed companies. You're a lot closer to that happening than those of us who signed up in March, April & May were.
Good Luck
"C'mon, man. No one has to "bash" this stock or any other stock to get anyone else's shares, guys."
bin, you are urinating into the wind on this one. People NEED to see 'weak hands' to congratulate themselves on their 'strong hands'. They NEED to thank people for the 'cheapies' to assuage their disappointment in a drop in pps. Hope needed Crosby and Yin needs Yang!
"Stupid is as stupid does"
Very unkind and very unfair comparison to...............Mr. Gump.
"how cool is it that we're using the very same text-to-call service for our weekly updates,..."
In business it's called "eating your own dog food".
"you guys waited patiently for everything to come together in a proper order and now raining on your own party?? Huh."
'Huh" is the word for your posts! You're right though. I had all of my geese lined up, in 'proper order', then my parade was crashed and my party was called because everybody left to go watch the parade....and the lined up geese.
"As for the Google it is my opinion Go800 has some advantage over it up to its sleeves."
'Up to its sleeves'? Is that like a bird in the ass is better than two birds behind the hedge?!
"My growing concerns with this one are other technologies seemed to be coming out that appear to be simpler and very effective like the voice to connect system that is now infiltrating the market"
Legitimate concern.
But lets say for a moment that texting remains a keyboard enty because text to speech is still too dependent on correct pronunciation and ambient noise to be used for anything other than one or two word prompts.
In that case Go800 application is not threatened, for now.
Let's say that voice to text improves just enough to allow: "text lenox to 46800", from the texting screen of your 'not-smart' phone or as an app on your smart-phone. Doesn't sound like a great technological leap to me, nor one that Ike, or the phone manufacturers, couldn't either create or accomodate.
"You mean the same Ares who said this would open back up on the pinks and that ACLH was providing the SEC with all the info needed?"
You're replying to the wrong guy. Check the quote marks in my post as well as my reply to that poster.
"either way .... ACLH "should" be emerging from this dark cloud very soon based off the info I recieved from Ares...."
I went back and forth with Ares on the meaningless of 'very soon' as it is bandied about among ACLH people. Good luck and let us know whether or not a 'strategy' for listing has even been decided upon.
"We are getting real close to the time frame provided by Eres on the re-listing on the pinksheets. Ares said to figure on 6 weeks to get the paperwork filed to re-list on the pinks,..."
Outdated info. Call Ares yourself to confirm that they have not even decided if that is the route (pink sheets) they will pursue.
"I guess that counts out the iHub Pink Board community.'
It 'counts out' those for whom the shoe fits, no more no less.
Sweeping generalizations are one of those critical thinking defciencies I'm getting at, YoYo! It's NOT mental 'heavy lifting',
but it is mental laziness. I know that it's summer but jeez, so many 'brains in a hammock'!
"It doesn't matter what's true or what isn't, people want to be up on their money they invested....whatever it takes."
Actually, among the 'reality based community', it matters a great deal 'what's true or what isn't'.
The prevalence of ass-on fire assertions, based upon little or no evidence, and their acceptance by the credulous and critical thinking challenged among us, both on this board and in society at large, wastes enormous amounts of time and results in way too many fear and ignorance driven decisions.
