"Pretty dead in here today."
Sounds like a 'comfort zone' for........'ghosts'.
" My understanding is that satisfying the SEC inquiries is a priority and this may take a few months. JMHO."
False choice. Could have been/should have been a dual track process. Being ready to trade when SEC 'inquiries' are 'cleared up' would be what a company that both had its sh*t together and its shareholders' interests in mind would be doing. JMO
"Does anyone have any clue on how long it would take to move from the grey world to the pinky land? Is it few months or few years?"
The very first step is the decision to 'move'. Ares never was able to confirm when or if such a decision was imminent. Excuse me, likely anythime 'soon'. That would be helpful for shareholders to know, which is why it is not an ACLH management priority.
"Commons will remain intact IMO, as any other BK where commons are cancelled that language is pronounced throught their SEC filings, this on the other hand say the Co keeps the Corp Shell and the Commons!
I understand your inference Re commons from the absence of the language USUALLY found in other BK proceedings. On the other hand how do you come by this statement?
"this on the other hand say the Co keeps the Corp Shell and the Commons!"
Where does it actually state that the commons will be 'kept'?
I realize you stated 'IMO" to begin your post, but your last statement bespeaks certitude that the pps does not reflect.
" But hmmmm, I'm surprised that name doesn't ring a bell if you've worked this important lead before- ..."
You'e kidding me right? Upon what do you base your claim that it's an "important lead"? If you want to mention the name of the company, great. If you're interested in playing "Jeopardy" find someone interested in playing it with you.
"Very quick question for Blackhawks.... .."
It's entirely possible but the name's just not jumping out at me.
"yeah DOMS was at .07 & like 20K and moved up to .18 LOL"
Looks like the constant references to the ineffectual PRS together with the pointless reference to .18 and the request for a filing extension are having their way with pps. "Should be out soon" just doesn't cut it.
"TEXT WALMART to GO800! It works in the '818', wonder if they're paying..hmmm'
Calm down. Reserved Brand keywords work in all USA area codes whether being tested or paid for.
"GO800 needs a mascot! Maybe Godzilla would work since the FU-Man is involved."
Notwithstanding his fearsomeness and cleverness, Godzilla never did book a steamer, nor swim, from Japan to China.
"BTW you don't have to censor farting. lol'
Once suspended twice shy!
Let's see how this works:
"These events are like kindling and Ike is the flint."
Some posts about GOIG are as piss is to a bowl of Cheerios!
"Do you know if the in house sales team made all the sales on the original 18 ticker symbols signed up?"
I don't know for certain but I'd say it's probable.
STOP! You're making the 'running gun battles' between myself and certain posters look better by comparison.
"but you can't argue with the fact that those opportunities were lessened by the smaller than anticipated showing."
I didn't argue that there weren't 'reduced opportunities' from less than expected attendance. The use of the word 'only' suggests that the extent of the opportunities was overlooked if not down played. Pointing that out is hardly tantamount to 'hiding' anything. And if perspective like that strikes you as sugar coating so be it.
For that matter while no one is suggesting 'sugar coating', if I think that new investors on this board would be helped by perspective or by accurate information I will post perspective and accurate info.
I'm not the one who posted "apologize for not f*rting rainbows" metaphor. That petulant over-reatcion is what I received for pointing out some of the positives from the meeting.
"I don't owe you or any one else an apology for saying only 60 people attended the Chicago event."
I didn't say that you did. It was for the use of the word 'only' that betrayed a lack of understanding......and objectivity.
"I have been one of the most consistently objective poster on this excuse of a communication forum."
We all look forward to a return to your usual high standards for posting.
"Would you recommend us calling into any local shows and let them know about go800?"
Can't hurt. If you do, ask if they would like more info and post their contact info including email address and we'll get them what they need.
"Ya the event was good, but again over promise under deliver."
I don't argue that it shouldn't always be up/od. Tougher to do with event attendance, but doable. Never mind apologizing for the absence of 'rainbows', it's the lack of objectivity, perspective and understanding of the opportuities that the audience represented that warrants your apology.
"what are the chances that stock ticker leases will turn into leasing a keyword?"
Soley dependent upon the usual criterion for any prospect. Does company have a client/prospect base that would be well served by Go800 service?
"....and only 60 people attended the Chicago event."
'Only'? Couple of points. 'Only' is a negative connotation for what was a respectable turnout. Why respectable? Mid-August in Chicago, like in a lot of other places, is prime vacation time. June or July likely would've presented similar attendance challenges. However the meeting fit within the schedule of post launch events and budgetary constraints.
More importantly, most of the 60 attendees represented ad agencies with client lists composed of dozens of clients, some of whom may represent G0800 prospects. So the attendance was 'leveraged'.
There was media attendance as well. The Daily Herald article reflects that fact. I spent considerable time talking with the editor of the IL Institute of Technology school newspaper.
The exposure, networking and prospecting that took place at this meeting are not done justice by use of the word 'only'.
"One state agency that readily comes to mind is the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Being an avid deer hunter, in most states it is required that when you harvest a deer, you must report it to the DNR within 24 hours by calling an 800 number which most people never remember. It would be a much simpler process for me to just text IowaDNR (my home state) to 46800 and follow the prompts to report my harvest."
http://www.iowadnr.gov/contact.html
Which phone # would be for "harvest reporting"?
Others of you who are hunters and fishers with simialr reporting requirements can perhaps submit links with the appropriate phone #'s and we'll see what we can do with them.
"Blackhawks... I'm not out to alarm Upticky. What you call ,"alarm," I call providing info that might actually save Upticky some money. What's wrong with that? The info was factual. Having known and never been misled by my buddy for over 30 years, the rep might as well have been talking to me directly. For some reason even if that was the case I believe you would've still been calling even that into question regardless of 1st hand, 2nd hand, or 3rd hand accounts."
I don't question your intentions so much as your standards for accuracy. You don't know if the info was factual because there was neither specificity nor corroboration. And yes, if the rep in question had conveyed the same nebulous claim about 'discounts' directly to you I would question it.
"If it's applicable to your type of keyword, I would think that at least they can rewrite your lease to reflect more up to date pricing."
You challenged me about my 'authority' to offer you something that you would want if in fact it was 'official policy', but you didn't challenge the authenticity of what a friend heard from an Ambassador whose apparent 'sleaziness' influenced your friend to not become an Ambassador. Double standard, or inconsistent standard or no standard?
"IF it's applicable....I would think...." is flimsy ground upon which to speculate about what may be best for a particular paying customer.
"Yet you even state, "The new Generic Keyword pricing provides a price break if the total price for your generic keyword exceeds $500/mo and if you only require in State coverage. "
And how does that differ from what I said that my buddy told me? It doesn't.......Discounts are being given."
It differs as follows: It's specific, it's official and it's public. Which is different from and better than "what my buddy told me" as it pertains both to accuracy and authenticity.
As Doone has stated, both the Brand by Area Code Program and the State Generic Program are specific pricing plans rather than price reductions for Brands and Generics.
Whether there should be price reductions for both is arguable and is in fact being argued about and for. Arguing for them is not the same as claiming that something your buddy heard 'may' be helpful 'if' it's true.
"I just don't see it, Blackhawks, why you continue to argue points that you either a) Don't believe in, or b) actually confirm as happening and continuing to happen in the future. Frankly, it sounds like we are both in agreement on this topic of discounting so I have no idea why you are debating it."
I'm curious, do you live on or near a farm? You seem to have an inexhaustible supply of hay from which to construct your 'straw man arguments'.
I've never argued to you or anyone else "something I don't believe". 'Straw man a)' down for the count. And I didn't confirm whatever you heard about discounting as 'happening', we just don't know what was alleged. And 'b) I can't confirm what is going to "continue to happen in the future" anymore than you can.
"Well, are you Ike's right hand man? Are you there with him deciding company policy or are you privy to every one of his actions/decisions?" You can be no more certain that discounts aren't being given out than you can be that they are."
Let's just say that I'm more 'privy' than you and that neither of us is privy to "every one of his actions/decisions".
"You can be no more certain that discounts aren't being given out than you can be that they are."
Somewhat more certain for the reason stated above. But I take my own uncertainties as a constraint on what I state or claim, you take yours, if you admit to any, as license to jump to unsubstantiated conclusions and to spread rumors.
"Wrong, again. I told you exactly what I was told which was exactly what he was told. My buddy actually ended the conversation with the Go800 rep because of the "overall slimey" feel he got from the rep trying to get my buddy to sign on with the campaign.'
Ok, by your description of your friends impression of the rep it's clear to me that the information should have been viewed with skepticism, by you no less than your buddy, rather than passed along as confirmation that there is 'discounting'. In any case, the question from uptickly related to his concerns about the new Generic by State pricing obsolescing his current pricing, which it doesn't.
You unnecessarily alarmed him with what at best was questionable 3rd hand info.
No need to admonish me about going down any 'roads'. I'm quite capable of following the 'center stripe' along your circuitous reasoning highway, after much OJT from your posts!
" Look for a PM to follow this.'
Can't respond to PM. Email would be better.
"Well, it isn't rampant guessing. I was relaying information I heard from my buddy who was on the ambassador waitlist after he was finally contacted and told of such.'
This post is EXACTLY why the presence of of Ambassadors on this board is necessary.
I responded to a G0800 business customer's question about his generic key word pricing and gave him a factual response that related very specifically to his question. He acknowledged understanding my response and provided a useful pricing suggestion which I forwarded to Ike.
YOU are relaying second hand information from someone who was told of 'such', without specifying just what 'such' comprised.
Hearsay and speculation equally describe your information.
"Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it does appear that the discounts are being offered."
Consider yourself corrected, first installment. Standby for doone later tonight.
Meanwhile Upticky, I stand by my response to your question reposted below. If you do not have access to an Ambassador, feel free to email me with any questions or concerns: dhippe@msn.com
It is rampant speculation.
The new Generic Keyword pricing provides a price break if the total price for your genric keyword exceeds $500/mo and if you only require in State coverage. The $10,000/mo National generic pricing remains unchanged/undiscounted. Logically, with State pricing now available, I would expect to see price breaks for Regional coverage at some point.
Brand pricing remaing $500/mo/per brand keyword. A Brand by Area Code Pricing Plan was introduced two months ago. You can read descriptions of pricing plans here:

"You are bigger than that. Less pressure if you just let it roll off your back and move on."
Humor, self-deprecating and otherwise, is my 'safety valve'.
"No one seems to know or has heard about this product in Seattle. GO800 needs exposure so bad in WA state, I'd love to help out distributing fliers or bumper stickers too."
Invest,
If no Ambassador from Seattle responds I will be happy to work with you. Geography presents no obstacle that can't be overcome by the Internet and the phone.
"Two possibilities for you.

"i am also up for this. i only live 1 1/2 hrs. away from los angeles and i would love to get the word rolling over here on the west coast.."

"question for you blackhawks. can you sign up keywords for the ticker service or is that the in house sale team?"
We can, but Ike is working directly with IR firms to leverage our efforts. I'm focusing on ad agencies to leverage efforts with their clients.
Upticky,
Notwithstanding the fact that I'm just a "keyword monkey" who's chiefly qualified to reserve keywords in two minutes flat, and then prompltly forget them like the bread stocking boy at the supermarket, I am going to forward your pricing suggestions to Ike.
I feel that they have merit because they do address the small business owner who may be priced out of trying our service beyond the free trial period. I'll call it the "G0800 Metered Use Pricing Plan". Text mupp to 46800! just playing around with what to call it!
Thanks for the feed back and suggestions.

"Is this documented fact or speculation that there's a huge cut in pricing for generic keywords? I'm paying for a generic keyword and have thought it was over priced. I'd love to be able to get it cheaper. Can anyone fill me on this?"
It is rampant speculation.

"you're wearing me out and you obviously don't get my point,'
I do "get your point(s)". I simply disagree with your assessment that damage is being done to Go800 by some of my posts, either from their content or from their frequency. As you stated, that's your opinion.
Too often people on this board are accused of not "getting the points" from other posters, when it is really just simple disagreement with the merits of the points as stated. Cluttering up a point about posting with broad swipes describing your view of the Ambassdor 'job description' wasn't helpful.
"Disclosure: Again, I am angered that I even felt the need to post in the first place and am long on Go800."
Anger noted. That it's misplaced and disproportionate to the issues you've raised was my point.
Funny how you wrap disdain for the Ambassadors roles within your 'contstructive criticism'. An independent contractor is just that. Any assesment of my professionalism or lack thereof that overloooks my interactions with prospects, customers and sales performance is incomplete at best. There has been nothing in my posts that could reasonably be construed as unprofessional and my use of my time is my call.
"just a side note i dont think any teen ager is going to spend 4 cents a minute per friend call on top of their already expensive bill.."
Interesting point, but your presuming that there will actully be any 'incoming' even though that is not viewed as important let alone essential for 'satisfaction'. I suppose we could have an 'exemption' on the .04 which would serve as a 'job stimulus' for the 'name checkers' screening the rush from small buinesses trying to game the pricing discrepancy.
By the way, there are no dedicated "Brand Name" screeners. The combination of the brand name, contact person(s)and the business
address on the contract are sufficient for the Ambassadors to assure compliance before contract even arrives in NY.
"Perhaps it's been discussed before but I thought I would mention it anyway."
I sent this email moments ago.
Ike,
Intriguing idea from a shareholder. What do you think?
"If Ike can convince an existing client (or a new client) to offer a discount to the consumer for contacting the client via Go800, there could be benefits to both parties from the increased sales and use of Go800. Can't think of anybody that would turn down a discount when all you have to do is send a text via Go800.
Perhaps it's been discussed before but I thought I would mention it anyway."
" know ambassadors are probably trying to do things as best as they can but when I see Blackhawks on the board as much as he is throughout the day, typing as much as he is back and forth to defend his idea against UniqueInvestment (for what is now WEEKS), well I have one suggestion about that.....Blackhawks, wouldn't that time and effort towards UniqueInvestment be better served chasing prospective clients via calls or emails?"
Unsupported inferences seem to be contagious on this board. You have no idea how early I am up to call prospects on the east coast or how late I'm calling to the west coast, and all of that with email follow-up. The amount of time devoted by me to swat nonsense about vanity key words (I AM done with that) is negligible relative to the time I spend communicating with prospects. And it wasn't and idea that I was defending, it was a request for evidence to support an idea from ALL of those who think it has merit. If you can't boil the idea down to salable features and benefits that can be stated on a web site page, then you can't take the idea to market.
"Additionally, when Blackhawks takes suggestions from the board and then states that he has "reserved the keyword" all that means is that he has typed the word and phone # into the database. Anyone can do that as it takes two minutes to do (if that). Doesn't mean it's been followed up on and quite often the keyword just sits unacted upon like expired bread on a supermarket shelf. All I'm suggesting is that if you reserve it, please follow up on it immediately or don't reserve it at all- that just gives companies the service for free and they don't even know about it (i.e. Walmart."
Not sure why you think that you've got the Go800 work process down cold. It can go quickly after you find the web site and the appropriate phone #, but your presumption that "it's not being followed up on" is just that. Some us do follow up and I'm sure some don't. Unless or until you find out which of us are which I suggest you reserve sweeping judgements and refrain from patronizing lectures on that subject. Consider that to be constructive criticism from someone who has sold the product.
"Govt. Agencies,
You might look at the Veterans Administration.
Right now they have a NATIONAL Suicide pervention hotline.
It would probably help the Vets a lot if they could just text a word to get through, ====> instead of that long `1-800 number they have to know."
Lodr, Thank you.
text 'talk' to 46800 is now reserved. I will call them tomorrow.
"Do we want to let the distraught to have to rely soley on remembering a phone number when we can also provide them a "text to connect" capability? Don't we need to afford these individuals, above all, with every chance to connect that technology enables?"

"I know that govt agencies dont want to be contacted anymore than they already are, but everyday i hear a message on "if you suspect any suspcious activity, please call 1-800-xyz,abcd""
Perhaps you could copy and paste some examples from your town. This might very well be an opening into a gov application that might not have the price objections.
"but chew your cud on it some more and I'll get back to you later with further clarification if you need any.'
Thin gruel at best, and your next 'clarification' will be your first.
"Blackhawks, you are really reaching for some out-of-the-way reasoning in defense of a position that you aren't holding very well. Every business concept starts with a belief, the belief that it will work. And you want to tie that into a cult/religion? Please stop making such ridiculous claims."
Business 'beliefs' are tested against the evidence. Your vanity keyword beliefs brook no opposition let alone admit the need for evidence beyond your own peculiar belief.
"Stop hiding behind the bogus need for "Ike to offer the service".
"I don't want to test it, I want to own one. Get that into your mind, please, for the umpteenth time. If Ike offers it, I'm a buyer. It is really that simple. Why do you have such a hard time understanding something oh so simple? If you can't get Ike to go on record offering it, then it is not legit and you've failed, not me."
You'll own it for the $15 donation. Your refusal to submit any evidence of it's usefullness beyond your particular need for this phony statement of 'vanity' is the real issue.
"Why do you have such a hard time understanding something oh so simple? If you can't get Ike to go on record offering it, then it is not legit and you've failed, not me."
Present your argument to him. Clearly I'm not the one to make the case for vanity keywords. It's becoming more and more apparent that neither are you!
"Don't be so sure of that. After all, you can't seem to comprehend the concept so it's possible that they didn't either. And instead of you assuming they didn't, why don't you next time actually put the concept out there in front of them instead of letting them try to come up with another facet for the business when the current one has not even taken off very well as of yet."
Unlike you I don't 'misunderestimate' the intelligence of my audience, though that is increasingly difficult in these exchanges with you. It was a business launch to help advertisers sell G0800 to their BUSINESS clients. Just because you lack business discipline and focus does not mean the rest of us do.
"Take up my offer, and take a walk over to the school or campus of your choice and have at it!
What, and do your job? Get Ike to offer the concept and then put me on the payroll and you'll see just how quickly the money you can't see will be in the bank.'
It is not my job to waste the time of teenagers and college students, but it sounds like it's your 'holy grail. You have it within your grasp to carry out your 'crusade', albeit not the courage.
"here is one idea worth a looksee:
"kids, babies and toddlers",
most go to a "daycare", "preschool", "halfday kindergarten", "full day kindergarten", one does not need to know their schools number now do they, with goig and go 800 if you know their keyword you have instant contact.'
Decent thought, not sure about the need.
At the parents' orientation for these schools are not the standard and or emergency contact phone number numbers, both for the parents and the schools, points of strong emphasis. I'd be surprised if the the numbers aren't entered into the mobile devices before the parents leave the building.
With school budget constrains and teacher lay offs, I think this would be a hard sell regardless.
