Good article.
States 12,000 so far have signed onto LP's. It's getting there.
It's very difficult to watch. It appears though that all the public companies that are actually licensed are experiencing the same problem. I certainly hope that a decision on Allard or a change in government will help this.
The facts are that the company has two licenses, two facilities and have fulfilled well over 5000 orders. I don't see any scam with this.
The company is growing and selling since April 2014, so no it is not a scam. I'm not sure what would give you that impression.
The company is reporting and has posted Q1 and Q2 as set out in requirements. These can be located on Sedar. Q3 is expected by the end of Nov.
Why do you use it then? If it's not approved and HC says it's "Bad"? Why are you the only one that should be using MMJ?
Lol.
Forget all the other wannabes. Stick to the TWD board. Two licenses, two facilities, growing, selling, expanding. Miles ahead. No need to go to the other boards.
Seeing as how they've passed the bar twice and are well up and running, selling out, building out, I can't see the renewal being an issue.
I believe I already mentioned that te crops were just harvested and then you need a few weeks to dry, cut etc.
I asked Tweed about it on Tuesday.
"Hi XXXX,
The harvest is underway and will take a few weeks to prepare for sale.
How much of the XXXX would you like? I can recheck the inventory and see what we have.
Thanks!"
Each time an order is placed, a confirmation email is sent with your order number.
Has steadily ascended in numerical order since becoming a patient.
Order #5000!
These guys are selling!
Spoke with Tweed earlier today. Looks like this massive harvest should be ready for the shelves in a few weeks (late Nov)
There is no illness list anymore. That was MMAR.
It is completely between patient and doctor. Further, the doctor is no longer required to list your diagnosis, that is now an optional field on the form.
Hey Bazwar,
Sounds like you are having a positive experience as am I. Thanks for sharing.
The product from Cannimed I have to say, looked terrible. Not sure about effect, but that's pretty poor.
It's quite possible that they rule in favour of MMAR. That does not effect any new user and based on research, it appears there will be enough MMPR users to support the program and LPs.
Sir,
Those numbers are NEW patients signed up since the MMPR. There are still 40,000 that were under the MMAR. So you've got closer to 50,000 licensed users. That 9000 number, which is actually closer to 9600 as of Sept 2, 2014 (http://www.cbc.ca/m/news/politics/medical-marijuana-licence-applications-up-but-approvals-slow-1.2752955) is strictly NEW patients signed up.
It sounds like Bazwar placed a large order (48g + 10g + 2g + the vaporizer).
Smallest I've ordered at once is 4. Never been asked to pay a penny for shipping.
I could see the shipping policy changing eventually to maybe free at purchase of $50 or certain amount of grams.
I thought it was fine. Anxiety reducer.
Let us know what you think Bazwar.
Where the heck did you get 9000? The number of MMJ users in this country is well over 40,000
It's a tough one for sure. I can't vote conservative again though. For me, I readily admit it comes down to this issue. I am shocked at the conservatives continuous aggressive stance on this. It is completely out of line with the public view.
I'll vote for Justin primarily on this matter. If the conservatives turned around tomorrow and changed their mind on this, they would probably help themselves to another majority.
I'm totally fine with the packaging. Most I've had in one container is 10g. It fit nicely, and still had some decent sized buds as was shown in the pics a coupl weeks ago. You do get some shake now and then, but as it's been stated, this is medicine. It's about the effect and medicinal features, not about the look. However, I've had very few problems with the look either. Packaging not a problem for me (lids are a pain in the arse but eh, child proofing).
I don't know what eelfand's problem with the branding is. I think it's great. It's totally in line with a society that wants to take a way more lenient stance on this subject. It fits and is a definite winner for a soon to be recreational market.
I haven't speculated at all!
My ridiculous $250 investment here won't increase without some answers. You've got GVInvestor here stating that as soon as a license is granted, seeds in the ground, BOOM!
I'm asking very legitimate questions about this company. Quite frankly, I'm shocked that no one else seems interested in these concerns. The entire crux of the business is growing and selling MJ! As a shareholder, I'd like to know what the plan is for that, or at least part of it. You can't just state you're going to be the worlds largest MJ producer and supplier and not disclose at least part of the plan to achieve that. The plan is to grow and sell MJ, how does the company intend to do this? "Seeds in the ground, BOOM!"
Don't tell me that shareholders shouldn't know some of these answers for a company that says they will be the worlds largest. I can talk all the talk and make money off of trading, what about the business?
I'll ask for the third time, and these are serious questions that I can't find answers ANYWHERE.
1. What is FITX plan to actually grow MMJ?
2. Who in the company knows how to grow MMJ?
3. Who is the master grower?
4. How many strains will there be?
5. How long will it take for first harvest if a license is obtained?
6. What will the average price per gram be?
Seeing as the entire operation is based on actually growing and supplying MMJ, I'm surprised there is ZERO talk on this subject. This is a pretty major part of the business and no one is answering this or discussing it. All I hear is "once there's a license, boom! Seeds in the ground". Who is putting these seeds in? Where did the seeds come from?
How come you won't even touch any of my questions?
They are completely legit.
Very few new patients being signed up? Please provide proof. I know so many. There are clinics set up STRICTLY to give ppl licenses.
Numerous more then 40,000
Sir/Ma'am,
I have a tiny position here. I too posed some very legit questions to you a couple weeks ago that I haven't seen ANY answers to on any website or forum.

Where's the proof? You keep saying no one is using LPs. Meanwhile, more and more ppl are being signed up daily!
Thanks!
I find that interesting. Did they say "using" or purchasing. And which one did they mean.
For ex, I have a friend who is licensed for 1g/day. But he probably uses .5g/day, but always purchases his maximum allowable.
Hey there Bazwar,
Welcome to the family!
So far I have found all 12 strains that I've used to be excellent.
The argyle, which contains low THC and high CBD is excellent for pain control. It is rather mild and leaves you functioning throughout the day while controlling pain.
For sleep, Buddy has been amazing. Unfortunately it's currently sold out, but is well worth the wait, and is priced right. Bogart is AMAZING, puts your right to sleep, but it is on the higher price point.
Cheviot is another favourite for general anxiety and pain, however it is stronger then Argyle so be aware.
Clarence, High Lands, Fox Hunt and herringbone are great for all day.
The Leonidas is quite powerful and has an energetic feel, not recommended before bed (ask me how I know...).
Westwood and Weaver are generally quite mellow, with Weaver being on the more expensive end.
Yorkshire, well, I gotta say, it is my least enjoyable. It is a interesting feel and is "piney" in my view.
Vaporizers,
I recently got one from Tweed. The Arizer Solo is perfect for travel, and at $135 shipped, it is a STEAL. On the Arizer website, the unit with NO add ons is $220+ shipping. The Arizer Extreme Q I have used but is no good for portability.
If you've got any other questions I'm glad to help. As well, the customer care folks are really helpful.
Cheers!
The product is by no means "sub standard". A hiccup here and there, but it hasn't swayed me. I've placed order after order (product and shares lol).
We are up to order 456#. I think just under two weeks ago we were around 4201.
Exactly. Hopefully this doesn't carry on much longer.
The entire TSX has taken a massive beating. The market is down 2% today alone. This really has nothing to do with Tweed or any other individual stock. Both OGI and BED are seeing the same reds.
It absolutely sucks to watch it, but can't focus on the day to day. This one is not for shorts.
TSX down almost 10% since September, near official correction

It's not "this stock". It's the ENTIRE sector.
Further, the entire TSX is down on falling oil prices.
This might also explain today's dip. Or probably a combination of that useless DEA article and the oil.
Toronto stocks dive to lowest level since April
U.S. markets end volatile week lower amid worries about global growth

Of course, false information, again.
Medical marijuana is settled... People are allowed to use it for medical purposes.
You just want to be the only person who gets to use pot eh???
I noticed someone posted a pic of this strain yesterday. I have not been able to find any info on the tweed page about it.
Amazing. I personally know of two more added to the wait list. Awesome
Hmmmm, I don't see the cocoakush on the strain list on the website. Must be new. Looks AWESOME! ;)
The super lemon and super silver are the best "looking" ones this far. very compact, lots of trichromes as our awesome friend is obsessed with.
