I can't see why the license is a none issue, especially if it has been revoked due to owing taxes.

Considering how Key it is to their business it certainly makes sense, rather than risk being refused better to maintain continuity.

After the license was revoked why didn't they try to resolve it then.

This is key to their business, everything else is MUTE without it.
