Al,
I at least tried for information in leiu of....
RJ
Sun,
It takes money to file.
RJ
Fasctrack,
I do not press Brian hard and I talk about things other than just FASC. I enjoy a pleasant relationship with Brian, but I do not ask him to cross the line. I do not want to be responsible for SEC troubles.
I called Brian yesterday and shared the mood of shareholders. That is all I can do.
When I share something positive, I know who is going to respond in what way. When I share caution, it is another group that respond in a different way.
My take is this. We have a huge gamble here, but all sorts of potential. There are positives and negatives that can be shared alike. I also believe Brian is doing all he can. He has said that he will not let the doors close, they will have to carry him out.
Main land machinery is huge and a good friend to Brian. The owner told me a couple of years ago that he is a FASC shareholder. He is being very patient with FASC. Lets hope that holds.
I am thinking that we will be rewarded. If I am wrong, it will not be the first time! ask my wife.
RJ
PS. I am turning off the computer, I have home work.
Fasctrack,
It is impossible to know what is what? I am thinking changes may be going on or FASC is in the middle of something? I do not know. Since Cal is gone, Brian is probably working on what direction to take where? He is cash poor due to collection issues he is trying to work out. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine.
RJ
Hi Charlie,
I asked Brian yesterday about the update he sent to the SEC attorney for approval. The SEC attorney said he cannot send anything out at this time. Brian could not tell me why. He said you have emails in to him, he will respond when he can.
Brian said he is aware that the shareholders are well overdue something, but he wants to get something out that the SEC attorney will approve and he is finding that difficult.
I am assuming that many of the penny stocks companies just shoot from the hip and ignore their attorney. I do know of a couple that have done that.
RJ
TR,
It is my understanding that QL has three operating KDS machines.
RJ
Net,
I am wondering if St. Malo will end up with one of the "not paid for" machines? After all, St. Malo has a tight deadline for a goal.
RJ
Net
"Completion of the sale of the 2 machines in inventory"
My guess is the payment of the two machines in inventory?
RJ
Thanks,
RJ
Sam,
You used to be good looking like Waite! You guys better get
together and make some tunes while you can still look good. We want decent pictures on the FASC promotion Album.
RJ
Net,
Any where that you have dry dust, you are at risk of combustion. Wood burns, dust "combusts!"
When I sand my wood Gym floors, I fill my vacuums up with already dry dust from the floor, dry it further with heat from sanding, and once in a while I smell a smoldering from my vacuum tank. Fires are not uncommon in my business. When we used to use vacuum bags they usually never caught fire until I would disconnect them from my equipment and let them set down.
The finer the dust the more combustible it is. On my final smooth sanding I have to be very careful that the dust is removed from the building quickly and never left in the building over night. I am assuming because the KDS can grind finer dust than any other grinder, it can also deliver a better fuel for dust burners and probably much more dense pellots.
As I once shared, a while back I used to call facilities that used grinders and talked about the KDS machine. Their answer was nothing against the KDS, just the overwhelming cost. They did not need the fine screen dust that the KDS delivers.
RJ
St-Malo,
When you say Lakson, you are refering to Simo? Is Simo
the main engineer for the project?
Thanks for all you have shared. It gives us hope that our 10 year has not been in waste!
Thanks again,
RJ
TR,
I am wondering if a new director may make better head-way with the EPA. There was tension between the inspectors and Keith a while back. If you remember when the dust issue was finally handled? The inspector saw the moisture being exhausted (steam)from the drying process and he called it "emissions" stating that it would need to be tested. It caused another long drawn out delay. Keith was not a happy camper!
Just curious about it?
RJ
Charlie,
I talked with Brian on my way to School this afternoon. He said that his update is in the hands of his SEC attorney as to what he can and cannot share at this time. He thinks he can talk about St. Malo due to it being out in the public in Quebec?
Brian is having collection problems but cannot elaborate.
I hope this helps.
Harassment is a waste of time. It will not change anything.
I asked about Hong Kong. Brian said he is working with some engineers from there on a big project, but it does not mean it will come to fruition. It seems he works on lots of big projects, but he is only a piece and if the projects do not
develop, then he has nothing but time and expense gone.
RJ
Sam,
Your a better man than most. What ever your politics, what ever your views. Putting the people first is Job one. The government has no other purpose.
"Give me work" not my neighbors money!
RJ
Net,
Can you imagine if we could somehow combine key environmental issues
with a free market mentality, that would be "exponential" (I think that was the big word a while back), the combination is one that needs to be the goal.
Is common ground is being found in Quebec? I think so. I think that when Government and Business can partner up to increase R & D, making Green progress match technology progress things will work. Forcing unprofitable business ahead of proven R & D and profitability actually delays progress. The business's sink.
Once a business fails, structure is gone, private investment becomes shy.
I also think that environmental agencies should employ people to work within a framework they understand and not see Business as the enemy, but partners in a goal. The employment at these agencies do not seem to have incentive for sucess, but more the justification of their jobs.
Team-work boys!!!!
RJ
Net,
Sometimes someone in Government in lieu of Politics?
RJ
Charlie,
I agree with you, but pouncing on Brian is not going to do anything.
As far as being an American, The Dems and Republicans have both hurt out business (FASC and others) in huge ways. Where you see progress due to legislation or rules to enhance Green, they really stifle business at the same time with harming the ability to do business or become green. Particularly where they hold party lines in lieu of getting things done.
Example: The Republican congress and Clinton worked together. I do not particularly agree with either politics. I was proud of the fact they came together on many items. They showed they cared about the "American" people.
The existing President and the existing Senate and the existing Congress all are following their own agenda'a and ignoring the business at hand; US the people and US the Business's.
Business is People. When that is forgotten, jobs are lost. The environment is for the benefit of US, People. If the Government Branches were looking out for US, the party lines would be jagged in lieu of straight. People would be working and Companies would have profits that we need not be jealous of and "FASC" would not have the delays we have seen. This is a FACT. Anyone that knows or cares anything about business and jobs knows this.
Unfortunately both the poor and the rich, Congress, Senate and the President are all in one big selfish power grab.
When the Leaders become an example, most people will follow, both for the positive and negative.
RJ
TR,
I think it is ok to call and ask questions. But an angry barrage of phone calls is not going to lead to anything positive. I like Charlie, but I think harassment is a wrong move.
Send it to Washington where we have a bunch of power hungry liars.
Dems and Repubs.
Charlie,
I know that we are not happy, but they are doing there best. If you think you and I are stressed, count it times ten for Brian.
I will not call him if there is going to be a barrage. That is one of the reasons I quit calling MnVap. We just loose our ability to get information when we make life difficult for them.
I shared what I could get already. I do not think much has changed. But it will.
RJ
PS. Call congress, they need a waking up. And while you are at it do not forget to call Capital hill, all they do is party as far as I am concerned. (This is not political) due to the fact I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I would rather be an American. Politics is due to party lines in lieu of looking out for our people.
Al,
That is true. But as TR and Net have shared, that will come with
sales and profitability. I do understand your stress. Its a tough wait. We are hoping and believing that we will get our reward. I do know that Brian is doing what he thinks is best. He does feel the loyalty of us shareholders that have been here for many years.
That is why he is hanging in there.
RJ
Al,
It is not the responsibility of this thread to support the sp(PPS).
This board is about sharing and communicating with each other about
FASC the company.
Albeit we all want Brian to share, it is up to him to do it. Singing to the choir is ok, how-ever the same song over and over does not help. What I learn and share, I use as a contribution to a buy-sell-or hold decision making process.
do as you wish,
RJ
PS. Net, This is not a class assignment!
Waite,
On second thought, you have some very pretty nurses. You had better stick with the ones you have. When I can get to GR, We will have a FASC summit!
RJ
Waite,
When I get out of school, I can be your nurse and you can be my secretary! You can help me run my business!
RJ
Al,
Do you really think that Net, TR, Charlie and the rest of us are not fighting for news? When we get something it definitely is not to convince anyone of anything. At least not on my part. It is just being part of this posting forum. "sharing"
RJ
Charlie,
I am in college now and learning to spell! Believe me I am getting very used to being corrected!
As far as definite, Brian agrees with you, thus his shyness about PR's. Definite is the customers words.
I have full time college and a company to run! Guess I better get at it!!!!!!! talk later,
RJ
TR,
That happened to me recently with another stock, right after I sold by shares!
It went up 10 fold!
RJ
Charlie,
I am not sure what you mean by "off the hook", Kelly told you there would be an update. That is something Brian did not share with me.
The case Brian made to me is this; where is the best place to use the dollars at this time. We do have business coming and he is not going anywhere. I could not find out what business, but he did confirm that the St.Malo project was real and was waiting for a deposit. Brain could not share if there were not already public articles out there. He has other projects that say they are definite, but have not turned in deposits at this time. I think we are in a temporary situation.
Just the fact that Brian shared with me that shareholders will remain in tact is stress relief for me.
My opinions,
RJ
Net,
Read my PS. I was having fun with you guys! It relieves a little pain to pass it on! (in good fun)\
I am riding the risk/reward here because I believe Brian. I have wanted him to share what is what, but He does not know what to say other than he will not give up.
It is nice that Kelly sent an email to Charlie about the up coming report. I am sure it is going to be that Brian intends on keeping shareholders in tact. It is what he told me. It is a moral thing with him. He is not like the rest of penny land just covering his own butt.
RJ
Hi TR,
I have no blue skies to share, how-ever FASC has been here before sitting in a cash flow situation. What makes this time different
is that in lieu of Brian paying for the quarterly himself he is riding it out?
I see by the bid and the ask folks are wanting to get out of FASC. However I think this is a bad time to do that. A person may pick up a few shares, but trying to pick up very many will just drive the PPS down and they will not benefit much anyway. I do not condemn them they know their risk tolerance. I personally believe that we still have risk/reward and look forward to a few surprises
coming our way. In fact if the PPS keeps tanking I may just have to compete with Waite for those shares seeing that TR and Net are taking a siesta from buying shares and yet pumping good news!
RJ
PS. All in good fun TR.
TR,
Forward it in an email to Brian and Adam. They may want to do something with it?
RJ
Charlie,
Thanks, That is a nice confirmation. There are no guarantees here, but if someone is wanting to increase their position in FASC I am sure that there will be buying opportunities.
Lay down your bets folks, its VEGAS! Only with a slightly better odds!
I am betting on Brian.
RJ
Hi Fasctrack,
I could sense the disapointment in Brians tone. He expected to be profitable by now per a couple 10Q's last year and with the full time hire of Kelly he made a positive move. With the profitability not happening I am sure that he is relieved that he did not tout anything. Eating crow is no fun. I am sure he is as depressed as anyone here. Brian did say and that I could share that he will not abandon the company and that our shares will remain in tact. This I will hold him to. I sense that he is honest and will give him time as far as my selling any shares. What else would I do. Sell in to this silly PPS slide? Not me. I don't need anymore shares but if PPS slides I will be picking up a few. Just because?
RJ
PS. I tried to present a cautious attitude toward the over the top optimism the last few weeks but...... Brian says patience he will bring us through.
Fasctrack,
I agree and have asked Brian about that. His answer was what would he share? I know we all have different thoughts about that, but I will live with the fact he has stated to me that he will not let the doors close. St Malo is only an addition to other things in the works. I do not know what they are, but I do believe him.
School fire alarm!
Bye
RJ
Al,
Maybe you could loan him the money?
Where do you want it spent?
I am not asking in sarcasm, but if cash flow is the issue, then I am assuming that 60K for the 10Q is the problem. Where would the
money be best spent? Just something to think about if this is the situation.
RJ
Charlie,
Brian did not give me details other than that he is owed money.
I called Brian for my own benefit. I just thought it fair to share and I asked Brian if I could.
Just in case there is a legal issue about my visiting with Brian, I have not bought or sold any shares in a long time. I have a lot already.
I have decided to remain calm and patient. I am believing the patient will be rewarded.
Maybe the items on inventory from the last 10Q are items we are waiting for payment on?
my opinion,
RJ
TR,
I just called Brian and asked him what he can tell me legally. He told me to tell you guys that no matter what he is not walking away from FASC. He has cash flow trouble but is not going anywhere. If we stop trading, we will be back at a later time once he collects money that is owed to him.
Brian said he is the only one that can shut down FASC and will not do it.
There is to much that is coming, yet delayed for him to give up.
Per Brian,
RJ
PS. If anyone does not like this post, don't read it. It did not have to share. I sit on a lot of shares myself.
TR,
It may stop trading for a while but the company will still exist.
When cash flow begins again due to sales I am believing Brian will get us back on board. Once again it is my guess.
RJ
Charlie,
This is old news. It has nothing to do with hectic. It has to do with cash flow. At least that is my perspective. What sales have brought cash into the checkbook? None that we know of?
I do not think we need to be told anything. It is obvious to me. When some sales come through we will get back on track.
RJ
St. Malo,
I do appreciate your input on this board. Most of us here have been in this stock 8 to 12 years. There are those here that believe in the technology and probably will sell off only a small portion of our shares. I also would like to come visit your site sometime and hopefully you can share with us when it will be open for tours. I would not want to come until it was at least almost done.
Thanks,
RJ
