Well, its only been trading for 9 minutes. Let's see how the rest of the day goes before making sweeping statements. LOL. GLTA.
Yes, extremely low volume.
Morning folks. Man, I go away for a bit and all this activity :) Please remember, no personal attacks, stay on topic, keep it clean and civil. Otherwise..... GLTA.
Not that my friend is very funny! Made me laugh out loud!
Can I ask you one important thing though, why on earth did you and your wife bring trunk loads of clothing, belongings and cash on a three hour cruise?
Sorry folks couldn't resist. See, I do have a sense of humor :) A little late night silliness. I'm back on topic.
No, I honestly don't know. The only thing he said was they are in the final stages of being a GM-certified vendor.
Yes, he definitely is following through with everything that he said last week. He is definitely eager to increase shareholder value rapidly. GLTA.
Correct, they are in the final stages of becoming a GM-certified vendor. They will also be pursuing becoming a certified vendor for all the major car manufacturers.
From my conversation with the CEO last week:

From my conversation just now with Steven Humphries, CEO of DealerAdvance.
They have a series of announcements coming out over the next few weeks. The first one is coming this Tuesday. He obviously couldn't divulge the contents but said it was even more positive than the release that came out this week.
I asked about them selling the software product to car manufacturers and he said absolutely. In fact, they are in the final stages of becoming a GM certified vendor. They plan on being a being a certified vendor for all the car manufacturers.
More to come...getting the rest of my notes.
More from my conversation with Ceo of DealerAdvance:
They are debuting a wireless handheld product in February at NADA. It will be a Nokia770 that sales reps can use to gather customers info, do workplans, schedules, appointments, etc. They will be the only company that has this proprietary product.
The 10Q was filed last night and should be showing up shortly.
More to come...still reading my notes.
And more info from my conversation with DealerAdvance CEO..
They have re-signed 16 car dealers and plan to sign another 8-10 over the next few weeks. Basically, they are going after the entire market.
The numbers he gave that if they even only sign 300 dealers with 3-year contracts, that is $20 million dollars in revenue. That's only 300 dealers. So they feel this could really skyrocket.
PR coming on Tuesday. He said its even more positive than the one released this week. He said they have many announcements as they pursue deals and make progress. They have a lot of activity going on and some are in the final stages. He feels we'll see about one PR a week with all the activity that is going on.
11 million shares bought in the last 15 minutes is not a 'painted' close. LOL. If there was no trading whatsoever in the last hour and someone bought 100 shares in the last few seconds, that's a painted close. But massive buying came in in the last 15 minutes and 11 million shares were bought and the stock price rose. That's most definitely not a painted close. Trying to get cheapies tomorrow maybe? GLTA.
It was also in yesterday's PR:
DealerAdvance Announces WebDA(R) Interface with Nokia(R)
Monday November 19, 8:08 am ET
Projected Revenue TO EXCEED $15 Million
ADDISON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DealerAdvance™, Inc. (OTCBB:DLAV - News), announced today that the Company has developed its new WebDA product to interface with the new Nokia 770 Tablet hand-held device. Steven Humphries, CEO, made the announcement today to investors with great excitement and anticipation. He commented, “The hand-held technology is what set DealerAdvance apart from all of the other CRM providers over the past several years, but was limited due to the server based technology and the inherit problems with wireless networks. Now with the new Nokia technology utilized in the 770 Tablet PC, dealers and their sales people will now be able to access WebDA from anywhere, anytime.” According to Humphries, the new technology will be debuted at the NADA Convention & Expo February 9-12th, 2008 in San Francisco.
Chief Information Officer Raj Sharma commented, “This new technology will make WebDA the most desirable CRM product on the market today.”
VP of Sales Dave Scaturro commented, “With the debut of this new product, we easily anticipate an additional three to five hundred new dealers to sign up for the product over the next twelve to eighteen months, representing $10-$18 million in revenue for the Company.”
WebDA™ is the next generation of DLAV’s “CRM” application. The system is web based and is available at a fraction of the cost of the original Dealer Advance system. According to Humphries dealers that have utilized the original DealerAdvance™ system it has shown a 90% increase in captured customer data and a 30% increase in appointment setting.

These people answered your question in a respectful and informational manner. Anyway, GLTY.
By the way, it would be the worst thing for them to hire 100 employees at this juncture. They are not Microsoft yet :) They are being very wise about growing the company. The last thing they need to do is increase any unnecessary overhead costs.
Read the 10Q. Do your DD. They have used consultants. GLTA.
Folks, as I mentioned before, if you have questions, a lot of them can be answered by just doing some DD. It's best not to take the board's word for it, do some leg work and you'll get your answers. GLTA.
Yes, if you look at some of the previous posts, this was discussed extensively at the weekend after the 10Q was relased on Friday evening. They've had the convertible debt for about two years. It is resident on their previous 10Qs as well. What is a testament to management is that they've diluted very little, especially in the last year when they really needed the cash to fund the business. They've been very careful about dilution and seemed to have used those funds extremely wisely by developing the new web-based software product, going to market, gaining market traction and growing sales exponentially. Quite a feat imo :)
I agree, now that they are growing strong sales, the need to dilute lessens moving forward.
Well, I think you can do a lot with 7 people. In fact, you can do a lot with 2 people running a company :) I would imagine they use a mix of FTEs and consultants as well. I like the fact that they are streamlined and keeping overhead to a minimum. GLTA.
Don't know if there will be more consolidation first before another run, or if today's end of day run on 11 million shares bodes well for the am. I'm not a chart reader and have never really followed them to be perfectly honest.
I really like the products this company has and the marketshare they can grab with their WebDA software product. I like the fact that they've been aggressive in marketing and sales and have gained traction in the marketplace. I also like the fact they are developing new products to meet demand and garner a larger share of the market. GLTA.
You were simply asked to stay on topic. People are certainly welcome to their opinion, but please stay on topic. If you have an issue with another stock, please take it to that board. Much appreciated.
DLAV quick company overview:
- otcbb fully reporting
- proprietary software products recently released that are revolutionizing the car dealership industry
- Exponentially growing sales and market traction
- Rapidly growing opportunities
- 100mil o/s
- More PRs to come as they close deals, etc
- Great deal of activity and major company turnaround
- Handheld wireless product being released in February
- Strong management concerned with increasing shareholder value
Lots of great info on the board, ibox, 10Q and the 2 recent PRs. Do your own DD and make your own decisions.
You shouldn't base your decisions on what other people say. It's usually best to do your own DD and collect all the information for yourself and make an informed decision about investing in a stock. JMHO. GLTA
Please stay on topic. This is the DLAV board. If you have issues with other stocks, take it to that board. This is not the place for it. Much appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks for posting fringe, really helpful.
Folks, let's please stay on topic. Thank you.
No they were talking about another stock not DLAV. I left it up cause it was friendly banter and its a holiday week :)
Yes, that was a very strong close with 11 million shares being bought in the last 15 minutes and a nice rise in the share price. Two very nice block buys at the ask (6.2 mil and 2 mil) at close as well. Should be a shiny day tomorrow. GLTA.
Well, I must say I'm still a little stunned with that stellar close. Certainly confirming, to me anyway, that we are establishing a much higher base and that tomorrow looks to be a green day with more accumulation. Very stellar indeed. JMHO. GLTA.
Well, that was amazing covering all the way to .017. Looking for a green day tomorrow. Looks like we may have our base now. GLTA.
100 million o/s. We believe the float to be around 60-70 million. GLTA.
Well if it can do what's its done during a quiet thanksgiving week, let's see what it will do next week. We shall see. GLTA. Amazing close indeed on incredibly strong accumulation in the last 15 minutes of trading today (11 million shares bought in last 15 minutes of trading alone).
Oh yeah, there was a 6.2 million buy at the ask and another 2 million buy at the ask as well. Very stellar indeed. I guess people want in big time. GLTA.
Yes, that buying spree and rise in share price literally came out of nowhere. Looks like around 11 million shares bought in last 15 minutes of day. Very strong close indeed. Guess that woke us all up ;)
Wow, 11 million shares traded in the last 15 minutes, almost all buys at the ask. What the heck is going on?
6.2 million share buy at ask
It's pretty normal. There's been a large run up yesterday and it had to retrace and consolidate to create a new base at a higher level. I wouldn't worry about intraday moves. This is just the beginning and I think we'll see higher prices in the days and weeks to come. This week will be probably be slow because of the Thanksgiving holiday. GLTA.
ARCA just moved to .02
They are in the process of becoming a GM-certified vendor. They are also planning to become certified for all major car manufacturers.
According to the CEO, there is much activity going on at the company and we should be seeing several PRs over the next few weeks. GLTA.
.20 - .80 a share sounds pretty good :)

Well, at this point on L2 there's not much left before going to .02. A little volume will move it there pretty quickly.
Has ARCA been moving around all day? He's at .022 on the ask now. Was he on the bid at all today?
