Chapter11, this stock is NOT as you just said, "like other Pinksheet, just a nice story..."
That's NOT TRUE and you SHOULD know that!!
This company has a vision and product, which has been received with enthusiasm. The volume of new members overwhelmed the original business model and the website has suffered fatal problems due to it's popularity!!
This is NOT a typical Pinksheet company, ..and by that you are suggesting that there is nothing but a story there.
HOW DARE YOU CLAIM SUCH BULL SHIT??
WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE IN SUCH A LIE AS THAT? Others have claimed that you only want to buy shares cheap, like some of the common Bashers. I have been of the opinion that you were not that kind of person, although I did not agree with some of your comments. But this time you have crossed the line and I would expect you to clarify your position and tell us if you have ever visited the Hypster website and seen that there are over 50,000 people registered there who would disagree with you that there is NOTHING BUT A STORY THERE!
One more thought: I believe that most people are better off knowing the truth. Maybe not all of the blood and guts part but the truth about the serious nature of the situation.
I have posted several times in opposition to the statements of some who claimed that the slow response of the website isn't that bad. (While it was growing worse by the hour)
I have posted several times in opposition to the statements of some who claimed that we would soon have a new server and all would be well. (While that would have little or no effect upon the worst of the trouble)
I never intended to cause trouble or raise dust over nothing. But when the new server is installed and the website still doesn't operate properly, ...when the number of Registered Users stops growing, ...when a quiet hush settles over what had been raging enthusiasm, then people will claim that they were lied to. The truth is, many of them didn't want the truth.
I'd prefer to tell people, this and that are the problems that we face and this is the probable result. Then we wait together outside the Emergency Room where emergency surgery is being performed to save the life of the patient. (Hypster in this case)
I used the Internet the for the first time when it was only a communication tool used by "computer people" and operated only via the UNIX operating system from a command line interface. I've watched this thing grow. In that same week (by the way) I sold UNION BAY (the clothing firm) their first computer to use in the design of clothing. They were a bunch of kids in a warehouse. Lots of fond memories. This Burned Media experience may also become one of those fond memories, ...and we all lived happily ever after.
"On top of this" ...is not at all what I'm doing, JP.
I talked to Michael about it when I first recognized the problem, weeks ago. He agreed. That's all that I know about what's going on, on this end, except what we all read in the Blog.
Have you noticed that Michael is personable and willing to respond to our input? (Of course you have, ...I'm just opening a train of thought) Well, I don't want to make him regret that, by dumping all of my unsolicited advice upon his desk. He's intelligent and has his own professional advisors I'm sure related to this issue.
I think I understand Michael somewhat from our limited contact and from what I have read in his formal and informal correspondence. He is going to appreciate meaningful input from us but not harassment. I think at this point, I have nothing to offer him that is meaningful, that his technical people have not told him. I offered information to this board because Michael is probably not going to offer too many of the gruesome details of how the Hypster model was working perfectly one day and then the next day began to choke upon the volume of music playlist data that was being fed to it.
If the project were mine to resolve, I'd get on it with professional help. Since I'm a simple investor, my job as I see it today is to buy more shares while they’re a bargain, and support Matt and Cyclone, etc., as they uphold and direct the conversation here.
Cyclone, I appreciate your kind message and am disappointed that I made you nervous when I sent a Private Message to JP with the "details" of the Database problem (as I see it).
The reason is that I know some of what's involved through experience while many on the board think that installing a faster computer (server) is all we need and she's good-to-go and that's simply not true. I felt that some would be calling me a Basher if I posted this kind of information and I don't need that.
:O)
The price per share is based somewhat upon the faith that people have in the vision and organization, ...as well as the product and the hard assets. I don't want to cause anyone to lose faith in the vision, the CEO, or the product. I'm a shareholder too.
Hypster is a great concept and it's become well received. There are problems within the data storage/scan/retrieval system of the site related to software design. It is being addressed and we can hope that it will be resolved soon. But resolution will not come with the installation of a new server alone or the addition of bandwidth for Internet access, although both of those are needed at this time as well.
I doubt that the public posting of all the gory details would necessarily be helpful at this point beyond that which I have already said here. If there is a general disagreement to that, perhaps I will reconsider as a member of the community. Although there is the distinct possibility that I could make Michael pissed off (can we say that here?) by doing so and that would cause me grief. Maybe we should wait and let him and his programmers do their work alone for now without 18 people quoting me concerning how they should do their work.
I will add that the things that he’s doing now are expensive. It can cost tens of thousands and be due immediately. There is time and money involved, and lots of both.
Hypster needs Emergency Surgery and there is no medical insurance available, ...it must be paid in cash.
Yes, JP. Michael does understand the problem. He's a smart guy with considerable experience. Fixing the problem is a separate issue from understanding that you have a problem.
I'll send you a PM with more information about what's happening.
Probably because you *are* an adventure girl, looking for the thrill of this summer and have stumbled upon it in Fish Farming. You caint find this kinda excitement in Boston.
:O)
That’s very good information. I've heard in the past that they want to verify legitimate stockholders prior to talking. That's reasonable.
I look forward to hearing about what develops. This thing could sure make my day if it suddenly explodes on some otherwise normal day. I hope that you get some "good news" or some encouragement from the company.
Thanks, Rasica.
That's a nice comfortable thought.
Well, you decided to retract your post during the "edit" window of time. Probably wise to not display all of your cards in such a public way, rebelgirl.
But *you* got my answer anyway.
Because Shorts has INTEGRITY. It has been said that you cannot please all of the people all of the time. In this case, you’re the one who isn’t pleased, while the majority of the SBMI board is glad to get this undeniable information.
Get it?
JP, I have discussed this with Michael weeks ago. No need for me to bring it up to him again. He replied to me that they were working toward a resolution at that time, but the present performance of the website is no small issue.
Not true, Matt. You said that a new server is all that's needed but that's not true.
I've owned a software development firm and had brilliant programmers on my staff. I have some experience with database management and if you ask Michael about my comments, I guarantee you that he'll agree that the speed of the server will address one issue, another is that the band width seems to be a bit narrow now with the current traffic and the third issue, (the one that makes the Browser Playlist page almost completely inoperable) is due to an overwhelmed DataBase Management system, which needs to be redesigned. It is currently using a serial indexing that requires a full scan every time a user (me and you) opens that page. The HTML language of the Browser page then displays the most recent 20 Registered Users’ play lists. That is no longer possible in it’s present design and will become worse by the day. I thought of several alternatives but don’t really intend to suggest anything to Michael since it has been many years since I was directly involved in the DataBase products.
He knows about all of this and probably has programmers working on a new design. I hope so.
Yes, his reply was as professional and optimistic a report as anyone could hope for today. He's got the right attitude to make this work, ...but that DataBase Manager needs a complete overhaul from the ground up. It's completely overwhelmed under the current design, which seemed to work fine before 50k people began creating a playlist for themselves.
Like I said before, growing pains are wonderful problems for a CEO to have, ...but they NEED TO BE RESOLVED QUICKLY or the GROWING STOPS !!
Yep, ...waiting and hoping that Wil is watching for that homerun pitch.
If someone is going to pay the $20 for that 11-page Reuters report, ...please report a summary of your findings and opinions to the board.
Yah, mahn !
THANK YOU !! That made my heart settle into a calm waiting mode again. I can wait patiently for something that has a good potential of truth in it.
No, there's not much money in that business.
Hmmm, time to begin at the beginning. Who here has actually spoken to someone at the Corporate level ?
Really ??
Maybe you've simply never seen so many enthusiastic owners in your life. People who are hopeful and need a break after so much in this current market has been evaporating.
There’s a simple and foundational difference between a genuinely enthusiastic person and a “Pumper.” There are a lot of enthusiastic people here who have heard some substantiated rumors indicating that they have made a good investment and are soon going to make a profit. They’re anxious in anticipation.
Keith said, "the undervalued stock market price is irrational considering all the values and fundamentals"
That deserves to be said again and again.
Irrational is the perfect choice of words.
Absolutely !! Take what you can when an opportunity presents itself.
You called it right.
Lots of factors involved but the bottom line is that you called it. CNN Business News may be calling you soon.
I'd like to express an opinion about all that new information, but I "can't reply."
:O)
Ya gotta begin to wonder if these Gold Entertainment folks are playing this game on the up-n-up.
Somebody told somebody who told this board that somethin was goin to happen someday soon, ...but everything has gone quiet and it feels like Elvis has left the building.
It could all change in an hour if those rumors were based upon something real.
Wouldn't we all like to know for sure!!??!!
In the beginning of this SBMI adventure we ALL thought that there was an exciting thing happening and Shorts stepped into a spot that offered him some special advantage to official contact and then passed the information and news along to the investors. It's better (from the company's standpoint) to not have to interface with 45 people who are asking the same questions over and over.
All of this would have been fine, although he did suffer some criticism even when things were going (seemingly) well. But at this point, he can be considered by some to have been in cahoots with the enemy. That's unfair, in my opinion. He was taking advantage of an opportunity as many of us would. It just went sour due to crooks on the other end.
His phone number as a contact? Well, that might have seemed reasonable at the time. But I certainly don't speak for him, this is only my opinion based upon limited information. Give the man a break. He's one of us.
There may be more to be had, but ask any investor if they would like to make 100% in a few days and the answer should be obvious.
A good move.
I hope that staying in proves to be a better move.
One of my oldest friends spends half the year in California and the other half in one of his mini-mansions in the Berry of France. He'd like us to spend a lot of time over there as well in one of his homes, but we have lots of things going on elsewhere in the world. And, ...my French is really poor. I can read some of it but not speak a lick, ...although I am myself 25% French.
Ok, ... in English. I was just enjoying a short dialogue with my friend and his smoking cat. I'm Ok now, I've got it under control.
America, ...English. Right?? Ok.
qscorpiot, Your English needs a LOT of WORK.
...and Chapter11 didn't say a Bashing word in that post.
¡Puede llegar a ser un trato grande! Gracias otra vez.
Is there any advantage to multiple people raising identical complaints to the SEC, the FBI, the IRS, the CIA, the NBC ...are there any more three-letter organizations to mention?
If 40 or 50 people all file complaints, it might help them see that something is WRONG here.
Want to post your eMail address so that we can all get some common (and accurate) information to report? You're the man with the info that cannot be "posted" here.
Hey, Amigo, ... Quiero cómo que esto mire. Pienso que esto será grande y yo gracias para identificarlo a mí.
There are PLENTY of people who own WRNW and think that it is a company with good leadership and tremendous potential. Not just the few that you mention.
There are several reasons that the company is struggling and one of the primary reasons is all of the people on this board who continue to carry on conversations (endless conversations) about BS and lies ...with the few who have been here for months for the sole purpose of drowning the spirit of optimism and faith in Well Renewal.
The continuous crap that is presented by a few is not anything that I want to be involved in because it makes me too angry. The Lowman became so angry over the deceitfulness of one or two that he was cast into jail and finally stopped posting. I can rarely read this board because it's both pointless, and depressing. Do you think that the others who plan to join Well Renewal (both investors and mergers) are immune to the crap that causes most of the LONGS to stay away??
WRNW should be the pick of the decade. Don't you think that the Bashers and the MMs know that?? You don't find this kind of activity over a dead company with no potential.
It's difficult to understand why so many on this board seem to not "get it." The negative personnel will NEVER stop being negative about WRNW. That's what they're here to do. When you engage them, when you answer them, when you acknowledge them, you feed yourself into their agenda and you perpetuate the seemingly endless cycle of crap they spread.
The overlords may DELETE this post because they seem to allow very limited criticism of the purposely-deceitful type, commonly called the Basher.
WRNW has tremendous potential and may become the image of the vision of the CEO. But there is tremendous opposition to his vision and to his leadership by some here.
The PPS goes up and down like the conversation on the board. Which drives which?
'Ever read his posts where he wants a Bulletin Board for traders who have lost all their money, and then have a place to tell their stories. His latest one of that nature suggested he wanted to read about those who had become homeless.
If they haven't been deleted, they might be entertaining reading.
An unusual guy, that "Chapter11."
Faceless investor spends $.10 drops PPS to .0002
Who might that BE ??
I LIKE .0004 (for now)
I think (from what I've seen) that 003 is quite reasonable as a forecast.
