Foxhunter... I agree with your thoughts about Mr. Chang. It wouldn't make sense to me that a man with his background and qualifications would get involved with a company unless he liked where the company was headed. Remember, Esprit acquired his company and it helped prevent a hostile takeover. I think he is definitely a pocket ace that we can't overlook.
Hi Nathanial... sorry I didn't respond sooner, I have been off the computer most of the evening.
I was introduced to the Fib retrace several years ago by a guy that makes his living "a very good living" trading stocks. He doesn't venture into pennyland very often but he definitely knows his trading and he discusses the Fib retrace a lot... along with other indicators.
I've watched a lot of stocks retrace right to the 61.8% fib line and then continue moving up. It is a very interesting perspective and I've tried to learn more about it. I'm open to hearing others thoughts about it and it sounds like you have been following it for years. Curious to hear your thoughts.
I appreciate all that you contribute to the board and you know I was just pulling your leg about FRAN. I agree with your opinions about the different market makers. Looking forward to the future of Esprit and following it very closely like many of the other stockholders on this board.
For those that are interested... it looks to me like we retraced the 61.8% Fib and are have stayed above that level since then. Any comments or corrections are welcome.
Here is a link to the Fibonacci retrace for more info: http://www.swing-trade-stocks.com/fibonacci-retracements.html
Calculation of 61.8% Fibonacci retrace using .0001 and .0002 as swing point low.
.0001 to .0020 = .0019*.618=.00117 (.0020-.00117)=.00083
.0002 to .0020 = .0018*.618=.00111 (.0020-.00111)=.00089
Essentially the 61.8% retrace is .0008 which we did hit after the high point swing to .002. We have been above .0008 since then.

Good morning everyone. There were some very good posts last night on this board. I appreciate reading everyones opinions.
I'm glad to see Mr. Winters is going to the conference next week. A great opportunity to make contacts and get some exposure. It continues to add to the credibility of the company and their intentions of being in the FOREX market.
I picture FRAN as a female.... maybe nathanials new girlfriend?
I agree..
OT: Does anyone have a picture of a market maker (mm)? I would really like to see what these people look like! LOL... sorry couldn't help it.
We know they exsist, they obviously run the world in the OTC and pinksheet stocks. Take a tour around the iHub board and read what is being discussed about the market makers. This isn't the only stock they are involved with...
A few quotes from other boards today:
" I agree. MM's playing games.
The opening trade today was a drop of 10 cents on volume of 200 shares. 200 shares ! This was literally at 9:30.01. It appeared to be a prearranged trade. And only 200 shares ! Could be a market maker deciding before the open to paint the price lower ? We have stayed at 2.20 just about all day."
"I agree that they are great plays but that only makes it more frustrating when that has NOTHING to do with their price. It is all MM games and we are at their mercy. Not a level playing field and they have us by the short ones......"
"I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PHONE RECORDS OF ALL THE CALLS MADE BETWEEN THE MARKET MAKERS MADE AVAILABLE WHEN REQUESTED AND SCRUTINIZED. Many times, we see trades occur that could have no other purpose than to knock stocks down in price and create an appearance of weakness in those stocks. Usually, they are bare minimal volume and low price “trades.” They literally “paint the tape” to serve their own purposes."
Just a few that I found quickly talking about other stocks on other iHub boards.
Thanks for your opinion... just wondering what you thought.
So what is your take on the flip floppy and mirror trades. Any thoughts?
Yup... mine at GTC .20
OT: Hey I see that Google CEOs continued doing the $1 salary like CHNW CEO...
Base salaries for CEO Eric Schmidt and founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, a Michigan native and University of Michigan graduate, will remain at $1, Google said Monday in a regulatory filing.
Hey, no problem. Can't keep up with everything! Have a good day.
News did come out this morning....
Esprit Financial Group Inc. (formerly Cash Now Corporation) (CHNW.PK) Receives A Green Light to Finalize Global Visions Holdings, Inc. (GLOBAL)

Yes, nathanial and rbbking have been great in helping with L2 for those that don't have access to it.
Looking good...
Yes...
More information on "Stored-Value" debit cards. Here is a section from todays Press Release that mentions the stored value cards. Below that is a link from onedebit.com (a part of Gobal Vision and their debit card web site). The link is below.
Esprit has also been working with Mr. Jack Chang, Global's CEO, to begin offering that company's e-wallet prepaid debit card system and electronic money management (EM2) system. Founded in August of 2002, Global is a developer and worldwide wholesale marketer of a new generation of prepaid (also known as "Stored-Value") financial payment products and services.
Link: http://www.onedebit.com/
We are a premier wholesale provider of Prepaid Debit Cards (sometimes called "stored value" cards). We provide Prepaid Debit Cards - through our high volume distributors - to businesses and individuals on a worldwide basis.
Prepaid Debit Cards for financial services applications come in the form of ATM Cards and branded (full-function) Prepaid Debit Cards. ATM Cards are PIN-based cards that can be used by cardholders to withdraw cash from ATMs and to complete purchases on POS terminals with PIN pads.
A branded Prepaid Debit Card can be a Visa Debit Card or a MasterCard Debit Card with the association's logo and hologram on the front of the card. Branded Prepaid Debit Cards allow cardholders to do online purchases, pay bills, do signature-based transactions in restaurants as well as use for ATM withdrawals and POS purchases.
The significant features of these cards are:
Global - Offered by a non-U.S. bank, the International Debit Card can be issued to residents of most countries in the world.
Everyone Qualifies - Because it is "Prepaid", un-banked and banked consumers of most countries in the world can qualify for the International Debit Card.
Instant Issuance - Because the cardholder's name is optional on the card, the International Debit Card can be instantly issued. For example, an employer can immediately give a new employee a new debit card on location, activate the card and then load the net pay onto the card.
Versatile Worldwide Applications - In addition to provide security of funds and convenience, the card makes an excellent payroll card that can be issued to employees everywhere. It can also be an excellent funds transfer card used by consumers to transfer and remit funds to families in the home country.
Very High Initial and Monthly Recurring Residuals For Distributors - The cards can be sold at the market rate of the particular region of the world to bring immediate upfront revenue. An International Debit Card can also bring $8-10 of Monthly Recurring Residual per card, depending on usages.
The card can be used to withdraw cash at more than 1,500,000 ATM’s worldwide and to purchase products and services at 12 million merchant locations worldwide. Because it is a full function branded debit card, it can also be used for online or telephone bill payment and Internet purchases.
Benefits To Cardholders
The benefits that the International Card can provide you include:
Convenience - Customers prefer Debit Cards because it acts virtually the same as cash, only with much more security.
Security - Funds not used can be securely stored in the Prepaid Bank account in a bank.
No Currency Conversions - Because the denomination is in U.S. dollars, the cardholder can use the card everywhere without having to convert currencies at different countries.
Saving Paycheck Hassles and Risks – Payrolls and payments can be “Direct Payroll Deposited” or transferred to the cards. This can save the risks and hassles of waiting for the checks and cashing checks, especially for consumers, who don't have bank accounts.
Security features such as personal identification numbers (PINs) and no offline imprinter (on embassed cards) transactions also protect you against theft and fraud.
There are no interest charges that are normally associated with credit cards.
Funds Transfer – Consumers can conveniently and inexpensively transfer funds to friends and relatives anywhere. For example, you can buy two cards, and then send one to your mother in a different country. Every time you want to send her money, you can do card-to-card-transfer or load up her card.
Bill Payment & On-line Purchases – It is a full function branded debit card; you can pay bills and purchase products and services on-line or through phone calls using the card. (Note: you cannot do on-line purchases or bill payments with regular Prepaid ATM Debit cards.)
Take a look at some of the companies Jack Chang has done business with. In my opinion Mr. Chang brings brings a lot of credibility to Esprit Financial Group. I don't think he would have joined with a company that he didn't feel confident about.
Background information on Jack Chang from the Global Vision website: http://www.global-vision.com/Default.asp
Mr. Chang is a businessman, an inventor and an entrepreneur with over 25 years of business and technology experience across multiple industries. He has the proven track record of conceptualizing how technologies can benefit the well being of consumers and businesses and then transform his visions into realities. Many of his past endeavors, including the Automated Teller Machine (Mr. Chang is the developer and patent co-holder of the ATM) still have profound impacts on consumers, businesses and the society.
As a multi-disciplined individual, he has held CEO and other corporate-level positions in sales, corporate development, and technology in large and small corporations. His past customers included consumers and businesses at large as well as some of the largest of the Global 500 companies, including Citibank, Coca-Cola Enterprises, American Express, Sears, Visa, EDS, and NationsBank/Bank of America, etc., for whom he had also provided strategic planning and business advisory support.
Good morning everyone! That was news I was looking forward to. Getting Mr. Chang onboard is a huge accomplishment and the announcement of it being finalized will be the icing on the cake.
Remember- Mr. Chang is co-inventor of the ATM Machine.
Here is Mr. Chang's educational background:
Mr. Chang has a BSEE degree in Electronic Engineering from Purdue University, a MBA in Marketing/Sales from Southern Methodist University and had done PhD studies in MIS (Management Information System) at University of Texas - Dallas Extension.
If for some reason, people aren't familiar with Jack Chang and his background, take a look at these links:
Jack Chang biography: http://www.global-vision.com/Bio.asp
Jack Chang resume: http://www.global-vision.com/Resume.asp
Yes, I remember that. I'm still averaged at .0003 with all the shares I have. I've been holding aside some extra $$ for bid support and end of day artwork. I really don't think this stock needs the "extra help", but it makes for some sport at the end of the day.
Looking forward to the upcoming days.... weeks.... months!
LOL... I guess that was. I got tired of having it down tick at the end. I had some free trades left from my broker account, so I thought I would take a shot at the ask. Looks like the paintball hit the mark...
Mine was for 50,000 at .0013 and my account shows I got the buy at that. I'm also seeing .0013 as the close.
I threw in a small order at .0013...
I think we all are realizing the potential... I just like to see the ticks walking up
Interest in CHNW is picking up this morning. CHNW was #4 on iHub most read this morning... currently at #2. Just waiting for .0015 to print.
Nathanial and rbbking thanks for all of your L2 updates for folks that might not have access to it. I think there are lots of people on here that appreciate it.
Looking very good!
I like it moving up nicely... a tick at a time. .0013 now.
This might help you with learning about market makers.

Good morning everyone...
Just finished reading new posts. Looks good this morning!
Thanks for your reply. That is what I thought might have occurred, but I wasn't sure, and I thought it would be good to get some additional opinions.
Maybe one of the reasons they are now refocusing on the Asian market? Just a thought.
Did some additional digging... it appears that it was August, 2005 that the distribution agreement between Cash Now and Affordable Telecom Asian Unit occurred. Then in October, 2005 that Affordable Telecommunications finalized their merger with their Asian Affordable Telecom unit 7123000.com.

Affordable Telecommunications Finalizes Merger With 7123000.com and Anticipates First Year Revenues to Exceed $6 Million
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOUSTON, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affordable Telecommunications
Technology Corp. (OTC: ATCT) (www.atct.us) announced today that the Merger
Agreement between ATCT and its Asian subsidiary 7123000.com (www.7123000.com),
encompassing all assets and properties of 7123000.com and Khewl Solutions (a
Manila based IT firm), is now complete.
ATCT's central administration for Asia will be located in Bank of China
Tower, Hong Kong; the Information Technology group will be located in both
Thailand and the Philippines. Houston, Texas will remain as the headquarters

The merger of both operations is expected to generate revenues that could
exceed $6 Million with solid expectation for future growth. The Board of
Directors feels that the company's shares are currently undervalued and have
decided to announce plans to begin a stock buy back program at $.07 per share
in the open market. This offer will be available to anyone who wishes to sell
their shares at this level. The details on how the company will buy back the
stock will be available at a future date.
ATCT would like to further clarify that the Board of Directors and
management have no plans to neither forward nor reverse split the stock,
acknowledging that the current share structure is optimal for future growth.
In the interests of a smooth transition the Board of Directors and
management will change over the next 30 days.
THEN--- Affordable Telecommunications partners with Interedge
ATCT partners with InterEdge
Telecomworldwire, Oct 14, 2005
TELECOMWORLDWIRE-14 October 2005-ATCT partners with InterEdge(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com
Affordable Telecommunications (Pink Sheet: ATCT) has announced it has reached an agreement with InterEdge LLC, a provider of Intelligent Internet 'edge' devices, to form a global wireless communications and services company.
ATCT reportedly plans to launch the service under its Buzz brand. The company plans to target hotels and property developers in Thailand, Malaysia, China, and the US, to secure accounts that can generate revenues for 10 to 15 years before any upgrades are required. Services that will be provided by fixed points will include ISP, VoIP, Video over IP, and Digital Television, the company claims.
According to the company, ATCT's Buzz Brand will be releasing to market a Video and VoIP router within the next 30 days and will be working with InterEdge to develop a product that can deliver wireless, VoIP, Video over IP, and digital TV from a single unit.
RESULTING IN: ACTC and Interedge combining and a reverse merger and creation of Buzz Technologies.
Buzz Technologies, Inc. (OTC: BZTG) is now a public company that trades on the Pink sheet Exchange in the United States. Recently, Buzz Technologies, Inc. released to the public unaudited Financial Statements for fiscal year 2005 and the first quarter 2006. The first quarter of this year our focus was devoted to the reverse merger of Affordable Telecommunications Technology Corporation that allowed Buzz Technologies, Inc. to become public.
Know... the question I have is what happened with the original Cash Now distribution agreement with Affordable Telecommunications?
Anyone know more about this? I was doing some research on Cash Now during their pervious years of operation. One of the things I came across was a press release that stated the following:
Link: http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/news.jsp?symbol=CHNW&headline=Cash+Now+Completes+a+deal+with+Aff...
Cash Now Completes a deal with Affordable Telecom Asian Unit (Press Release)

This includes China down through Indonesia and the Pacific Islands.
Affordable Telecom will now seek governmental licensing in South East Asian countries for Cash Now -- ATM services as well as opening franchises in the region. The potential revenue for 100 stores and 300 ATMs in Asia has a potential to generate $31,000,000 annually. This is the goal for the first fiscal year of the Asian exclusive license.
To increase Cash Now's market penetration in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, Affordable Telecom has also agreed to provide Alternative Merchant Facilities operating over their VPN. This is a key facility for increasing merchant transactions among smaller retail outlets.
Cash Now as part of publicly traded The Cash Now Corporation (CHNW) will offer, by the end of this fiscal year, 25 strategic retail financial centers in the South Pacific and over 250 centers in Canada and the USA, to sell and market services. In order to facilitate the expansion and growth, and as Cash Now looks beyond ASIA towards Europe for further growth, the company also announced today that it has in principle secured a $ 10,000,000.00 to $ 50,000,000.00 million dollar USD line of credit, to facilitate the loans booked through its Internet booking engine which loans will be distributed through their debit card network.
I followed up on what happened with Affordable Telecommunications Technology Corp and found the following:

Telecommunications industry news provided by Financial News USA (OTC: FNWU) Buzz Technologies Inc. / Affordable Telecommunications Technology Corp. (OTC:ATCT) officially announces the company will begin trading as Buzz Technologies Inc. on Tuesday March 21, 2006. Last week the company announced that the change in corporate control is complete and control of the company now rests with Sutida Suwunnavid and her group. The company also announces that Pol. Lt. Col. Panitan Santipet is the new CFO of Buzz Technologies.
So, my question is.... does anyone know what might have happened with the licensing agreement between CHNW and Affordable Telecommunications Technology Corp. when Affordable Telecom merged and became Buzz Technologies (BZTG.pk)?
I wonder if there is an association between Cash Now and Buzz Technologies after the merger??? Any thoughts?
I believe that CHNWs sister company is atmbusiness.
Check post 14520 where I have the links to where I found the info. It was from an interview that Jack Chang gave.
That was a good post. I think there are some of us that have really done some research on this company. I always try to pace myself and ask if I'm getting too excited about any company. In this case, everything seems to make sense to me.
Like many have already posted, the company appears to be doing what they have promised. They have multiple streams of revenue ongoing and planned, in high demand fields (Forex, payday loan, EM2, Debit card, ATM... etc), with intelligent, innovative associates (Jack Chang...a top notch addition), Internet based (global market potential), and licensee division.
Also, reaching into the China market with the 2008 Olympics coming up could provide lots of opportunity.
Overall, I'm very encouraged by everything that has transpired. I will continue to watch for the completion of the current goals and objectives and the announcement of future ones.
I think this board has done a great job of providing good information, checking facts and fiction and attempting to provide useful information to new investors so they can make informed decisions.
I always try to provide links to information I provide so that people know where I got the info and they can read in more detail or confirm for themselves.
Some people are good at picking up the phone and calling... like KA12, Allinxxl1968 and others. Several investors have been here for a long time, some are very good at techincal charts and analysis, there are people that know the internet and can find details buried in files, others have a long history of trading and investing, others provide access to L2 for those that might not have it, people that are totally new, many international investors and others that provide good comic relief at times! Of course there are the pumpers and bashers and we know who they are. There are also a lot of people that don't post and just read.... I think A LOT of people that just check in and read. Overall a very good board.
Thanks for all your good posts.
Good exposure of Esprit entering Forex market. One advantage to late afternoon Friday press releases, is that the last two weekends, Esprit Press release has sat at the top of the iHub Forex news site.
At the upper right corner of this page click on the Forex link and look at the top PR under the news. Esprit was at the top all last weekend and again this weekend. It was because they released info on Friday afternoon and no other Forex related news was released by other companies. Just thought you might be interested. I doubt it was planned... but just worked out that way.
Here is an article about ATM business forecast
Link: www.atmmarketplace.com/images/Global2011_Press_Release_ATM.pdf
Here is a portion of the report
ME&A The number of ATMs worldwide has passed 1.5 million and is forecast to reach two million by 2011. The emerging markets of CEEand ME&A plus continued growth in Asia-Pacific will drive this growth.
Retail Banking Research (www.rbrlondon.com) has just published the latest edition of its highly respected global ATM survey, ‘Global ATM Market and Forecasts to 2011’. Key findings from the new study, which covers 184 countries, include:
•Increase of 95,000 ATMs worldwide in 2005, to over 1.5 million installations
•Global ATM market to reach two million installations by 2011
•Asia-Pacific reclaims position as largest ATM region
•ATMs in CEE and ME&A to more than double by 2011
•USA, Japan, Brazil and China account for half the global ATM market
•Off-site share reaches 45%, up from 38% in 2003
•245,000 ATM shipments per year to 2011.
Global ATM market to reach two million installations by 2011 95,000 new installations were added to the worldwide installed ATM base in 2005. The global total now exceeds 1.5 million.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Global ATM Market and Forecasts to 2011 (Retail Banking Research) Asia-Pacific reclaims position as largest ATM region Asia-Pacific is now the largest regional ATM market with 31% (476,000 ATMs) of the global total, having recently overtaken North America (29%).
Western Europe, where five countries (the UK, Spain, Germany, France and Italy) account for more than three quarters of ATMs, is the third largest region.
There is a large gap to the three smallest regional markets. Latin America has 174,000 machines, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) 76,000 and Middle East and Africa (ME&A) 39,000.
While the annual growth rate has fallen to less than 10% in most regions, it is still in double figures in CEE and ME&A. These two regions saw growth in their respective installed ATM bases of 28% and 19% in 2005.
ATMs in CEE and ME&A to more than double by 2011 The ATM markets of CEE and ME&A are expected to grow by 130% and 120% by 2011.In CEE, this growth is primarily due to large increases in the Ukraine, Romania and particularly Russia. In ME&A, Egypt, Iran, Israel and Saudi Arabia are all expected to grow strongly.
Asia-Pacific will show the largest absolute growth over the next six years, with the addition of 165,500 terminals (a 35% increase).
USA, Japan, Brazil and China account for half the global ATM market. The USA, Japan, Brazil and China account for half of worldwide ATM installations. It is predicted that their combined share will, however, drop to 45% by 2011. While the USA and Japan will keep their positions as the two largest ATM markets, China is expected to move ahead of Brazil to become the third largest, as it is forecast to install 65,000 machines between 2005 and 2011 – more than any other country.
I was glad to read that Esprit is now refocusing on the International Market. I thought they took the right approach in scaling back the International work late in 2006 to focus on the Forex deal and to update their programs and payday loan businesses in the U.S. and Canada.
They are definitely focusing on the right international markets - especially for the ATM and pre-paid debit card businesses. I'll post an article about that next.
The acquistion of Global Vision and bringing Jack Chang on board is truly a diamond in the rough. I spent last night reviewing every page on the Global Vision website (Link: http://www.global-vision.com/). I was simply amazed at what Mr. Chang's company was involved with.
Take a look at the Global-Vison pre-paid debit card site (Link: http://www.onedebit.com/).
From the website- U.S. Prepaid Debit Cards
We have Maestro ATM cards plus two full function Prepaid MasterCard Debit Cards branded by both major credit card issuing associations. Some of our Prepaid Debit Cards, issued by U.S. banks, are designed for issuance to U.S. residents and employees of U.S. companies.
International Prepaid Debit Cards
We have several International Debit Cards, designed for different regions of the world, each card carries the Visa or MasterCard logo and hologram.
Wow..I hadn't checked! You are good! Thanks...
Rig... looks like you have more work to do.... posting the new news! Thanks
Good idea bartermania...
