When the move to the AMI happens? what is that?
It just makes absolutely no sense. On the flipside, what if this stock shot through a dollar a share, wouldn't the 12 cent a share buyback over time, hold this one down? Makes no sense at all!
Not holding my breath. I am asking myself why they would mention a 12 cent buyback price... HMMM???? To keep price and more importantly interest up (ie dollars willing to buy into NWOG) for as long as possible as they dilute with cyberpaper? I don't know but this is the only explanation I can give.
PS> looking good, MM's are silently jockying for shares. Someone wants them. Look at level 2 B & A... We hardly ever get any action past the 7:30 placement.
I do not think the NWOG buyback is for real. Only time will tell but it doesn't look good right now. The only positive is there are quite a few believers in NWOG... however brokers and NWOG management knows that so they continue the SOS. Show me a ten+ bagger that reverted back to original levels and then rebounded within 1 year, 2 years,... I have not seen any yet. It will take some time even if this company is what it says it is...full disclosure of NWOG could only help.
I have got too admit, I am liking the sentiment...maybe ready to enter those murky waters based on sentiment and volume.
Definitely a shortage of sellers willing to let go at these levels. Not much buyer demand either, however other than you, me, and a few others left from 3 or more years ago, there is little attention to this stock at this time...but I believe there is value. I just hope they do not dilute... or they will shoot themselves in the foot with the investment community...Again. I don't believe they are as desperate now as they were in the past and with J. Abcower, my hope is that he will be the one to move this company forward. His credentials look pretty good, lets see about his will to increase company (shareholder) value. Only time will tell!
PS> The competition thing was more of a fun challenge. I do not take pleasure in being right because I do know how it feels to be wrong and lose money... even on this one. I admit, I don't trust them 100% because of past issues, however I do see some new potential here and am willing to give it another chance. JMHO... and some may think I am crazy, but again, Bill and the Boys were playing company. They made some bonehead mistakes, aquisitions..., and the company has paid the price. Hindsight, I do think most of their flaws were just due to mis-management. The sale of the Powder River Wyoming property is somewhat proof of that. They had the property, rights, seismics... and 3 wells that they outsourced production on. Because of old lawsuits, debt, and good ol WV management, they could never capitalize on this property. I think Abcower has brought some new ideas to the table. The Smiths were good as far as honesty and running a big private company, however I don't think they had the time or expertise to capitalize on the opportunities.
Agreed. I guess every stock is in a sense. For basics, I look at Pinkys being the most risky, OTCBB is next in line, then the majors Nasdaq, NYSE... being the least risky because of their stricter listing requirements. That being said, with higher risk, also comes the possibility of higher rewards... for example a speculative pinky can give you a 10 or 20 bagger if the timing is right. The irony is that I have had some 10 baggers in pinkys (SPRL, HISC) and got out... Also I have had some 1/100 baggers (losses) in the Nasdaq without getting out ...Remember 2000 (ouch)... I guess its all a matter of opinion until you cash out for a gain or loss. There is money to be made, and money to be lost in all exchanges. The reality is timing is everything...I guess believing too much in any company can be the kiss of death in profit terms. I just don't trust those iron curtain stocks anymore even though I cashed out a bit on SPRL. Hindsight, I got lucky when I sold for profit, even still believing in the management. Glad I went against my greed to go for bigger gains. Wish I would have done that for all of them.
PS> I am not concerned about the volume as long as price climbs slow and steady over time... No hype... still a strong demand and bid jockying from bargain hunter brokers trying to accumulate gradually. Despite what it may look like volume wise, noone is letting go cheap...B & A spread creeping up together gradually... the way I like it. You are lucky if you can get any large quantities below $1.00...you move it up to the ask of .89 you get a little and then your next bit will be at .92 or above. That is the current trend. PS> If these shares were useless paper, then Jim Abcower would not be quietly aquiring like he is. Whether it be shares for compensation, or Direct Purchase... That is a great sign!
OK, Right now TENG is at .89 lets round up to $1, and NWOG is at .067 so lets round down to .06 giving you a little head start. We will assume you are already up, and I am already down. Hypethetically we both hold until April 21st of 2007. Check back with me then to see who can say I told you so. We will go off of percentage gains... just for fun.... PS> I can physically touch TENG's assets, you cannot do that with NWOG... Also, TENG is FULLY reporting, unlike all pinks, and unlike most OTCBB. Oh...One more thing, TENG's reporting makes them subject to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Malyshev has no clue what that is or means and is 100% immune from any shareholder fraud lawsuits! Be carefull what you believe...including the BS share buyback of NWOG. From just reading the NWOG boards, I know I have more experience in penny trading than most of those posters. In the past, I was laughed at for selling holdings right before the bottom dropped out. Everyone is an expert up until that point...for this reason, consider me a novice.
PS> Just checked volume...way up vs. usual. This is not from you guys is it? ...not from me either...IMHO this is a current sleeping giant ready to wake up. Yesterdays after the bell 8K did not go to press...nor did the aquisition of shares by Jim. Very interesting! No fluff, all business seems to be his MO. West point graduate and Harvard Business School MBA Graduate is in little ol St. Marys West Virginia???He is not there for the scenery. Has anyone read his biography??? In 2000 he was appointed CEO of Columbia Natural Resources that sold in 2004 for 800mil. Dont get me wrong, there is plenty of skeletons in TENG's closet also, however I have weighed it all and I am sticking around.
What is your point? We are dealing with 2 different animals here. TENG and NWOG are totally different. One is a pink, One is not, One is reporting, One is not, One is moving ahead with real plans, One probably is not. One more thing... When I sent an e-mail this morning to the CEO, I recieved a response directly from the CEO just now when I got back... Has anyone on the NWOG board had that success? Thanks. Mike PS> Seeing how TENG is fully reporting, Jim Abcower (who I do not know personally) limited his responses to real public information. I did however get a good feel from his reply. Very educated and what I suspected. add 33@yahoo.com to my user name if you want more. I can provide you with somethings that would make you say HMMMM. Believe me now or see it later.
I'll sit tight! Nothing is 100%... including share buyback. I know I am overloaded in this, but to me its safer... and I think we will only be up from here. My days of pinky trading are done. I did well on SPRL, HISC, and some quick flippers also, but I feel much safer here. Even depite the RS and dilution in the past, this hasnt hurt too bad... I know some others who may disagree but here and now, TENG is one of safest with potential...and they report.

Look deeper my friend. You will find bad and good... Yes, I do own a bunch, and I am way down. There is however no reason for me to pump this. It will do fine on its own over the next year. I can drive there, touch things, watch them reworking the wells and if worse comes to worse and I lose my money.. then at least I can walk up to the Management and kick them in the nuts. LOL. Its hard to do that with those Russian Mobskis.
This company currently has less than 10 mil outstanding. I have an e-mail into Jim Abcower to try to gather further information on possible future share dilution. This company has had some bad business in the past and yes I am still unsure about Bill and the Boys. My gut feeling is they were good O&G guys, but never had any real business leadership or direction up until recently. I have owned various amounts of this stock, have made some money, was up over 120K on paper...held too long and held some bags... but that was a different time in this company's life cycle. Currently I own about 30K shares at an average holding price of about 1.60. Ouch... I know. I do know how to cut losses but have hung on due to the fact that I believe this company has some true assets and again, up until last year this company had no direction. I think Bill and the Boys really had the best interest in mind at one time, however with the Baker-Hughes lawsuit and other debt obligations in the past, they relied on the wrong people to help them businesswise. Their solution to cash flow issues was diluting and Reverse Splitting which made the shareholders at that time loose confidence in this one. Currently, this company is actively drilling on an aggressive pace and has several producing wellfields and miles of gas pipeline. Goto the OTCBB Website and look at the last few filings and quarterly...by the way, they managed to get their filing in on time (withing 5 day extension)... No big deal to most, however Bill and Company never could get this done... It was always the auditors fault...who they should have fired along time ago. I know Juan is laughing at me now, however if your out there...call me a sucker but I had to hang on. PS>I will update on any information about future share dilution. IMO this is no 10 bagger, possibly a 4 or 5 within a year but the downside is minimal... that is of-course if they don't dilute needlessly. Chart it! It touched .50 minimum when MM were trying to beat it down. Yesterday the bid was at .82 and ask was at .92. Latest filing was after hours last night. Truthfully, the timing was pure coincidence. Good luck.
yes but I first need to give you full disclosure. Some investors I knew in the past will probably laugh at me but I think it is time for this one to be looked at again.
Benz and Youngmanrunnin. See what other boards I post on (hint hint) and you can ask what I have experienced. I am the only one there right now. Good luck NWOG Longs. Note to Board... I am too cheap to buy the premium membership at this point so I had to publicly reply. Thanks. I will stay away.
Anyone???
Done. Good Luck...
I don't spam... however if you want me to leave... I will gladly go...Good luck NWOG longs... you definitely need a break by now. I hope I am wrong, but I know for a FACT that is not the case. Only true believers are left. Its the lifecycle of the scam and some are sliding fast down the backside of the bellcurve without knowing. I know the thinking... why get off now!
Benz... Now is the time to look at this, saw you posted awhile ago on this one on RB. You may have owned it...I have been on the outside lookin in for a while... Reporting (on time) OTCBB stocks ready to make a move is the way to go. Go back to your R. Bull post and you will know what I am talking about. PS. Chart it... Pretty safe bet especially at these levels.
from berlin...if you are from berlin... Do you have access to any brokers on the BB Exchange? Berlin-Bremin... The home of naked-shorting ahhhhh, must be nice if you do! Volume = Huge Shorting Profits at these levels. The smaller the share price...the profits come much much larger and much much faster. Sorry BB Brokers and Malyshev... I disclosed some of your secrets.
Proof? How about proof that this company (that you hold stock in)is even real? There is absolutely none! Yeah, PR's, Oil News..., its all BS... and done with little money. You do not even own an ounce of the Malyshev's private vodka stash. Do you think Malyshev puts any value in the company, or it's shareholders? Its that useless stock...invisible paper turned into bits, sold at any price, coverted to greenbacks, and wired into Malyshev's Swiss Account... that makes him money. In that milisecond when the sale is executed, and a number of shares is shown in your account, the con has already been done. They will keep it going anyway they can... PR's, phony buybacks... eventually you will agree with me but that is a hard thing to accept... especially when you realize that part of your money paid for a new suit, 5 pairs of new dickies for Malyshev's goonies, (oh, I mean swabhands), and the fieldtrip to a Gazprom oil site to get some nice photos for you the shareholder.
I am not promoting anything...and will not even list a symbol. I am making a point that if you cannot touch it, visit it..., then don't buy it. I just wanted to throw it out there with enough info that I can come back to you in 2 months and tell you what it is, so you can chart it from todays date vs. the Nwog Chart and see who is up or down. There is no pumping agenda here. Its more of I warned you, I told you so, and despite what you may believe... I know what I am doing!
PS>... And it is usually a good sign when the CEO (Harvard Business School O&G Guy)is silently buying shares on the open market. Nice thing about reporting companies... you can find this out.
Does anyone know any domestic O&G companies, who report on a regular basis, have well under 10 mil shares outstanding, listed on the OTCBB exchange, and sp on the way up within the next 2 months. I do! Nice thing is, I can drive to their office, look at their pipelines, well-fields..., hello Appalachia!
Very good advice. I agree that pink sheet stocks are junk and most who invest in them put their faith in the company rather than try to capitalize on the hype. I have made some lucky money (hindsight). Given my experience or luck, I would still not throw any money at NWOG. I do not like funding criminal activity. I would rather let the US Mob Pinky Scams take my money than to send it to the Russian Mob who claims to be in cahoots with Syria. That being said, if you invest here, you could very well be buying the planetickets for the next round of terrorist. If this company said to have struck a deal with Iran or North Korea...would you all still invest here? Greed makes people do some stupid things...like invest in pinkies.
There it is again... Paid Basher... LOL the biggest myth in the pinky scams.
The people that refuse to believe that they have been taken always think there is a motive or a conspiracy theory to "get my shares cheap...", When someone says anything other than the pie in the sky BS that is thrown onto this board... they are automatically a basher who is trying to short the stock. There are always "conspiracy theories" like "pay for bashers and pumpers" and MM signaling BS. Oh, and there is always a comment to explain the unknown such as "there is a reason they are non-reporting" ITS ALL BS... The pay for pump/bash, MM signals (Don't you think they own a phone?), Shorters of this stock actually communicating on this board...(They are too busy stuffing money into their pockets and they don't need message boards to get it done. And no, despite what you may think noone you have ever talked to on here has the access to short this. The Berlin X-change is where all your money does a u-turn and into the hands of some shady people. What do you think the SEC is going to call up Syria or Russia to inquire about these guys. Come on people. BE REAL
IMHO - Hold on to your money! Remember I told you that and thank me later. There is absolutely no value in this stock. Put your money in something real! Look at it this way... if this company was what it says it is, then the sentiment of the investors would have sent this stock thru the roof based on their last PR's. THIS IS A NON-REPORTING COMPANY THAT CAN TAKE YOUR MONEY, TELL YOU ANYTHING THEY WANT WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE...the only people left are those who did not get out and are in the hole...bigtime. They will keep averaging their dollar cost down until they have a few billion shares worth nothing. Its the natural cycle of the pinky scam. Put your money into something on the Nasdaq or NYSE.. you stand a better chance there.
Yo Hey, Where has all my money gone? Will I make any money? Forgettaboutit.
Probably Broke!
Who was bashing? I am starting to believe in the sentiment of this stock! It is a possible goldmine, however I probably have a different way of looking at it.
Iggy Shliggy. Thats Ma and Pa on their wedding day...I know Ma looks a little big, however I was brewing in her belly at the time of the photo. Go NWOG... Newlands Oil and Gas, I mean Northwest Oil Group. IMHO 1.00 by April Fools Day. Right New York Guy? 2.38 by summer.
Come on Sing, "We've got High Apple Pie in the Sky Hopes" ... "Everyone knows an ant cant, move a rubber tree plant." .... "But he's got high hopes" GLTA lol.
You are right... "Imagination could be way out there" ... you and mild trans both... Are you kidding me? OR are you serious? I really cannot tell.
Robin Hood? Maybe right now as this is not doing anything. However, if see a move up based on investor sentiment..., then at least for my holding period and up until the point where I sell, I will be the sheriff of nottingham... robbing the poor...investors who did not get out before me. I hate to take from novices and love to take from experts...because of course... I am a novice.
