Maybe, because they are flippers???? That's what they do, come and go...then come and go again.
Give the mms' some time. They are desperate for shares and are shaking some out. And the few flippers will be out of the way soon.
Lets see a nice close at the HOD.
Thanks, then I will continue to hang in there. Like Lochute, I will still believe!
I guess that would depend on what $1 level and beyond you are talking about. Shining Tree spin out, not very likely. A NioStar spin out,(if there even is one)could be. Or the parent company SRSR, I sure hope so.
Looks like Toms' ta has been right on the money!
So, we have no involvement what so ever?
I know where they can get a lot if niobium.....!!
That is where we lived, in an apt. near jetty park. I think they are condos now. Used to watch them launch (test) the Trident missles at night. They blew up quite a few before they got it right. I sure wish I was there for the last shuttle launch. Good luck to you.
I still want that porsche Tom. You still in Cocoa Beach? I lived there years ago.
Just like SRSR....Soon, man, very soon!!!
356porsche....Welcome to the ihub board and SRSR. I really like the name you chose. I have always wanted a porsche.
I asked my wife this past fathers day for something shiney and new that could go from zero to 200 in about three seconds. She bought me a bathroom scale. GOOOOOO SRSR (and my new scale!)
Then I guess the outlook on the SRSR board will be "Will we get news before jjgarcia gets old?" Stay tunes folks!!
I'll reach that ripe old age on August 4th Tom! I am sure looking forward to some SRSR news by then. And a belated Happy Birthday to you!!
That's not what these old bones are telling me. Maybe I am not old, but I am not as young as I used to be!
But if SRSR comes out with some "news with meat in it" I'll feel like 40 again!!!
In the same boat with you. 64, been here nearly three years.
I believe it was pdog that posted .40 - 1.40 (post spin out), then wait another 2 to 3 years. Do I sell my SRSR shares and buy any available NioStar shares and wait another 2-3 years? It would be a tough call at my age. Do I hang on to nearly 1m SRSR shares.
Will we be receiving any dividends from SRSR when the mine starts up? If it takes years to start up the mine, will I even be here?
There are a lot more questions for us old guys that for the younger guys & gals.
No. I am saying that is not likely to happen. I believe that with what is in the ground there should be no reason to spin out. I am saying we have enough value in niobium alone to get us well into dollar land, even with the current share structure.
Now, what Scott and DR has in mind is another thing.
JMO
Yeah, I would have to agree with that. I was just responding to
dmbaos' assumption that the dividend on NioStar would be the same as Shining Tree. We have no idea what is coming, but I hope after all these years, it would get here soon.
My point is I don't believe that an IPO is going to get us to $35.00 per share. But I do believe that if we prove out 100B in niob that would get us to $11.00+ with 850m shares authorized?
Maybe my math is in error???
Not necessarily. Lets just say we can get to $1.00 per share under the current share structure. If you had 1,050,000 shares they would be worth $1,050,000. If the dividend was 35:1 the share price would have to be $35.00 per share to equal the $1,050,000.
Sure we would still have our SRSR shares, but of what value?
(I hope this doesn't post twice, if so, sorry)
I will be extremely disappointed it it is a thirty five to one split. With the value of what we have in the ground that would not be a real kick in the pants ot us long time shareholders.
Welcome Luis! Get em while they are cheap. You are going to love SRSR
I believe this will take off kind of unexpectedly so my Don Henley
song will be "Dirty Laundry", especially if I am watching at the time!!
I don't see any reason that SRSR would become a shell. SRSR could be the parent company with Shining Tree and Neo Star as companies spun"OUT" (not off).
SRSR will still have the Dead Moose property and any other properties that they may want to develope. And who's to say that the Neo Star property is the entire Nemogosenda project. Maybe it is just the Hawke Zone? We don't know for sure.
Wouldn't shareholder value really increase with SRSR still standing. Wouldn't Scotts' 30m plus shares be more valuable to him with the spin outs AND SRSR still going strong.
Of course none of us know what will happen, but I feel that it may be bigger than we expect. My guess is no better than yours, but I would like to think that DR, the guys appointed to the board, Scott, etc. are looking for something big to happen.
JMO
He is Spanish! That is his title "Senior Chartologist"
What would make you say that? Something you have seen from todays trading??
Could it possibly have anything to do with the spin out?? Could they be figuring out the share structure for the spin out? I am not familiar with the process, so it is just a thought.
It is strange that out of 6 stocks that I am currently following that SRSR is the only one not reporting.
If that is case I will be out of Ameritrade in a heart beat. I am still working on reaching 1 million shares. Getting close now.
My Ameritrade watch list just went to all zeros' on SRSR. Can't see a bid/ask, volume, etc! Anyone else with Ameritrade have that problem?
There we go....50K at .028!
Whatever is going on I like the action jim!
Maybe it was only 200k. I left the room for a minute and when I cme back it looked like a 400K jump.
Wasthat just 400k at that just went through??
Alan....he said he is going to sell one of his shares and keep the other share as his core investment in SRSR.
Well then, If I were you , I wouldn't wait around here for the next 50 years. If I felt that way, I would take my lumps and move on. Why toture yourself (and others) if you feel like all is lost?
Merle mentioned to me that Scott would not do anything to devalue his own shares of SRSR (also paraphrasing) Scott owns a lot more shares in SRSR that any other investor. I think there is far too much speculation about this spin out. I would suggest that anyone who is uncertain of this spin out call or email Merle. If you are not satisfied with his answer request for clairification from Scott.
Let the pump begin!!! Those who bought in yesterday are the new stuckholders of COPI. This dog died months ago.
A couple of questions. If you were short SRSR and knew you had a couple of weeks to cover (because it will take weeks to complete the spinout) you wouldn't necessarily rush in to cover would you?
Wouldn't you just try to depress the pps as much as possible on a daily basis, and attempt to cover? It would prevent you from taking a major haircut on SRSR. Thus no surge in volume.
Also, because we spinning out a new entity, wouldn't it have a positive effect in SRSRs' pps at the time of the spin out? Lets say STs' ipo is .05, wouldn't SRSR match that pps or maybe even prove to rise above .05? ST doesn't add more in property value to SRSR, but it will provide the cash we need to develope the property.
That's true of each hand, but you the person holding still have 4 cards worth $4. No loss to the parent cardholder.
If I were short I wouldn't be waiting for the share price to drop. I am amazed that there were nearly a million shares available at the .028 - .0285!
The trading today is kind of strange, but I expect it will increase as the day goes on. We should close over .03. JMO
