We should be learning the results any day now. The closer to zero they are the better obviously. Under promise and over deliver. Long and strong.

Heading to San Diego this a.m. for a business convention returning next Tuesday. Will be following developments as time permits and looking forward to continued progress reports from the company and the upcoming release of their 4th quarter financials.

Veritas- thank you for sticking to the facts. Unlike others that not so subtley have been planting seeds of doubt, ala charging a spam email campaign that never existed, then posting repeatedly how calls to the T/A went to an answering machine although it turned out they called the wrong number. A drumbeat of false charges against solid fundamentals. We are fortunate to have posters like you, Brad, Micro, Trade and the others that keep this board centered and continue to post solid DD against some weak baseless charges.

Microcaptrdr- Good recap for Due. I recall that in your prior life, you worked quite a while for a MM. Based on your prior experience and what you have seen so far with Maverick, what do you think is the preferred investment approach? Flip in and out for short term gain or take the longer approach if supported by the fundamentals? Your thoughts would be of interest.

MoC- Absolutely, couldn't have put it better myself.
Par
Gorky- I was just repeating the phliosophy of Maverick management. But yes that has been their mantra and I love it!
Par
Thanks Moses.
That's one of the things that makes this company so unique. Congratulations on your investment decision with Maverick.
Par
easy-I don't have PM access so can't respond to you. However, if you read my last post back to gorky, you should be able to see what my response would be.
Par
gorky- you say "if the company does not lie too much". Have you any evidence of management communicating untruths? From what I have seen so far that is not the case. They do what they say and if anything so far, under promise and over deliver. As far as when, why, and what do I think. December'06, liked what I saw, and believe this company has a very promising future. Management team are professional with alot of experience in the industry. Several are certified public accountants which means they have good business accumen and understand how to run a company. Yes I bought in the 3's but I feel more confident in this co.'s future now then I did then.
Par
Gorky- what's you opinion on Maverick? How did you come upon it?
Par
easycome92-I can't reply to your pm. Send me an email at the address in my profile so I can.
Par
Agreed, the company has a very bright future and it will be exciting to watch it unfold in coming months.
Par
When I called a couple of weeks ago I had no problem reaching someone.
Par
What day and time did you call? Where do you think the sp is headed? You seem to ask a lot of questions yet there is great volume of DD published on this board that if you took the time to go through it would help support your investment decision. You originally reported a spam email campaign by the company which you later retracted. Are you sure you don't have this company mistaken for another?
Par
Brad- Appreciate your post below which only serves to reinforce my decision to invest in this company. Management dedicated to increasing shareholder value will win in the end. Patience and perseverance are key attributes for the long term investor.
Thanks again
Par
T2M- well it certainly puts things in terms of black and white. This excerpt is right on target "Motives and behaviors are unclear, by never owning any stock, the question arises as to why does anyone spend hours a week researching and posting on boards if there is not some need being met. Given that all behavior is motive driven, what is the need that is being met by such behavior? Either there exist some very serious psychological issues that are in need of fulfillment."

Life on the boards, a quick survey:
From time to time one has to ask why am I here and why are others here? As I ponder such a question I came up the logical conclusion that there is basically one of three possible reasons why posters are here.
You are here as a pumper (reason #1): Have a bias history toward accumulating shares in a company and presenting the companies progress in a positive light. You believe in the company’s future and demonstrates this by owning the stock. Motives and behaviors are straight forward, you have a need to make money, therefore by supporting the company and seeing issues from a positive slant enhances and perpetuates this behavior, this in turn creates more buying of shares which fulfills this desire to make money.
You are here as a basher (reason #2): Have a bias history toward never owning shares of stock in a company and presenting the companies situation in a negative light, chooses to believe the company is not forthright and honest, therefore you feel the need to put a negative slant on a company’s progress. Motives and behaviors are unclear, by never owning any stock, the question arises as to why does anyone spend hours a week researching and posting on boards if there is not some need being met. Given that all behavior is motive driven, what is the need that is being met by such behavior? Either there exist some very serious psychological issues that are in need of fulfillment (reason #3) or a motive is to make money like the pumper but instead is achieved by establishing a short position in the stock versus a long position.
So this leaves one to ponder, what posters do I believe. #1’s. #2’s, or #3’s? Do I believe those posters whom motives are clear, that is to make money by establishing a long position and pump the stock (#1), or do I believe those whom motives are unclear, that is, they are either experiencing some deep psychological problems(#3) or are representing brokers and financial institutions whom have taken a short positioning against the stock(#2).
I personally would find it deeply disturbing if I were here posting on this board everyday, wasting time, for no reason at all (reason #3). So I will have to assume that those that partake in the bashing behavior are not psychological disturbed and instead must be shorting the stock (reason #2). Given this assumption and the fact that as an average investor I cannot short a pink stock, I will have to follow and believe in the poster that supports reason #1. This survey mentioned above applies to me as well. The only logical and psychological reason I can justifying in being here is that I am long on this stock (reason #1), so that is why I am here, my motives and behaviors are clear to others and myself. Therefore, in the future, the day I sell my position, I will have no need to hang around posting on this board except maybe to stop in from time to time and say hi to a few friends, but instead will focus my energies else where. So please, please, please, admins, in the future, if I have no position and I am still hanging out posting on this board, doing research, etc, please ban me for I need to be seeking psychological help because there is no other reason for me to be here since I cannot short the stock.
This being said, I hope the above mentioned helps all in deciding why you are here and why others are here posting everyday on this board
man of cash- enjoyed reading your quick survey. I fell you summarized life on the boards quite well, especially in regards to reason #2. LOL

Matrixx Resource Holdings, Inc.: Drilling to Commence at Sandy Point
Market Wire "US Press Releases "
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/13/07 -- Matrixx Resource Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: MXXR) announced today that the Company has been notified by the operator regarding the arrival of a drilling rig to begin drilling the Fite No. 3 well at Sandy Point in Brazoria County, Texas.
Reports from the operator disclose the arrival of the rig on site as of yesterday. Preparation of the rig is currently underway. Additionally, the operator expects to spud Wednesday or Thursday.
Sandy Point Field was discovered in 1937, and 60 acres yielded 665,000 BO from the 2nd Frio sand. Also, in the nearby W. Sandy Point Field, the Shepperd No.1 Fite has produced 250,000 BO, and 150 MMCFG, from the 1st and 2nd and 3rd Frio sands.
The Express No.1 Fite re-established production in Sandy Point Field in 2002. The 1st Frio sand has gas-on-oil and the 2nd Frio sand (the main pay in Sandy Point Field) has good oil shows in cuttings and sidewall cores.
3-D Seismic, along with well control, confirm that the Express well discovered a new, productive structure. However, the No. 1 Fite well is located low or flankish on the structure. The objective of the Fite No. 3 well is to drill to the 6,700 to 7,000 depth and find structural advantage on the order of magnitude of 10' to 20' over the No. 1 well. The results should be a 1st Frio gas sand of 10' net pay thickness, and 2nd Frio oil sand of 10' net pay thickness. The recoverables attributable to such a development well are estimated to be 0.4 BCFG and 500,000 BO.
Dry Hole Costs (DHC) of the Fite No.3 are expected to be $445,000 and completion costs attributable to the well are $218,500. Matrixx holds a 10% working interest in the prospect. Matrixx's drilling and completions costs of the well are expected to be approximately $44,500 and $21,850 respectively. Fite No. 3's close proximity to the currently producing Fite No.1 well will provide for the minimal completion costs. Dry hole costs for the Fite No. 3 have already been paid.
Matrixx has remained steadfast in its efforts in acquiring growth and investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector with the intent of providing the Company and its shareholders a much-improved increase in shareholder value. Additionally, the Company is now positioned to aggressively exploit its properties to accelerate cash flow and to provide rapid returns on its investments in the oil and gas sector.

Trade2-you are fortunate in timing your buy. I purchased some last week when traveling, set a limit order based on a hunch that we had seen the last of sub 8's. Would have loved to have bought my last shares at prices you obtained. Here's looking forward to our onward march north to some nice green this week just in time for St. Pat's day.

Busy today away from the PC. I feel we finish up nicely this week. Fundamentals too strong. Some lucky buyers there today picking up what they can. Hard to resist not wanting to get some more, reminds me when a few opportunities existed early this year to grab some below 4, oh those were the days.
