Notice how this stock has plunged to near zero, stay away, I can’t recommend it with a straight face.
Correct. Learning what makes stocks move higher or plunge to zero has served me well over the years and allows me to pick these and avoid the ones that plunge to a penny.
Thanks for noticing.
Thanks! I only cleared about 15k here, not really one of my better gains. Not on this one any more. LOL making bank got easy for me when I stopped playing with pennies.
But on 3-2-20 you were calling for an impending crash short term from that point. The stock has added about $400 a share since then. Thoughts? I think it was because of the increase in revenue they are about to report and not a conspiracy theory or magical Jeff Bezos indoctrination.
Ok so there’s a conspiracy of some kind driving the stock price. Ok thanks, you got me, I’ve been indoctrinated by Mr. Bezos. Good luck now.
Ok. I get that some people hate amazon, and how “evil” Wall Street is perceived as being, but they are about to report what will probably be epic earnings. Now I could be wrong about that I suppose but I can’t think of a scenario for earnings to not be epic. The street rewards earnings growth, that’s actually pretty much all they reward, expected near term earnings growth, so I’m thinking near term the stock isn’t going to tank or anything of that nature.
I will say that a “sell the news” profit taking event could be in the cards right after earnings but Amazon will continue to take market share for some time. I see this going right past $3000 in the next year or two. Why would I go to the mall filled with diseased unpredictable humans? Amazon will continue to grow and the malls will continue to die. Retailers that get on the online train will be fine, Walmart has not been destroyed by amazon.
I heard someone the other day say “Remember going to the drive-in theater?” Soon they will say “Remember malls?”
And that will be because Amazon took their market share. Hate it if you want to but I would get used to it.
A little more than a year ago I was known by the cashiers in my local grocery store as that guy that pays with his watch. Now half the people at the checkout are using their phones. As more people figure out why it’s more secure than using your actual card it keeps increasing. Lots of growth left there.
I would love nothing more than for this “platform” to work and for all the long term bag holders to become fabulously wealthy because of it, because that would mean we have a new concept in viral medicine coming online that would change everything.
My problem is I think they would have proven the science by now.
Good luck, here’s to hoping I’m wrong.
Correct. Time already told.
Search for “useless patents”. Be ready for some entertaining reading. Just because there’s a patent and it’s a valid patent, doesn’t mean it’s not for a useless concept.
This is a good example.
Some companies do not want retail investors involved. I’m not saying that’s the case here but that’s why Berkshire A shares are $277000 a share (volume today 275 shares so far). Although buffet finally caved and allowed B shares for retail. He doesn’t want unsophisticated retail traders messing with his A stock.
Just saying.
Correct as usual. Nothing has changed except they are applying the same penny stock tactics to every new virus that comes along. As we can see, it sells stock.
XOM has begin making hand sanitizers for distribution to healthcare workers.
Looking good.
That’s bullshit. The company saying they’re developing a drug and one being actively tested is two different things. A list compiled by someone of companies in the space is not the same thing as actual drugs being tested.
There’s nothing new here except NNVC has managed to bring onboard a whole new layer of bag holders.
Yes. I’ve been doing that more and more myself. I actually get slightly irritated if I have to hand an actual card to a merchant. That’s growing.
Agreed. I also think streaming services will be up since all streaming services everywhere are reporting an increase in activity.
The WHO, not the awesome rock band, says 83 drugs are currently being tested for C-19. I wonder if NNVC is on the list.
LOL. That was sarcasm. Everyone that’s watched this for even one year much less the stupid amount of time I’ve been watching knows how funny that is. The key point being there are companies that actually make drugs and this ain’t one of them.
What do you think we'll see? Huge miss? How about services growth, do you see improvement there?
Absolutely correct.
No sweat, post some entry and exit trades, we love that. Also, read the board intro, it may help.
The empty pro-vplm claims are totally debunked constantly. The main problem is this patent troll scheme keeps getting laughed out of court, changing to a new ambulance chaser, and doing it again. Been on the same failing path for years.
Of course the actual purpose is to sell stock to novice penny stock investors. They aren’t really even good at that anymore.
Holy crap that is so not a big deal. They probably forgot about having their kids lunch money invested. How much is motley fool valued at? Hundreds of millions? More? Kind of says a lot about their lack of confidence wouldn’t you say? They bought a tiny lottery ticket for bragging rights in case it pans out. Which by the way is one of their subscription selling tactics.
It’s nearly as embarrassing as the much touted one cent a share market cap.
LOL
Correct. Right now they need to thank him for having a one stop solution for shopping while quarantined. And for shifting his priorities to essential needs at the moment. I have made more amazon orders in the last 5 weeks than the previous 12 months. Which explains the easy to see coming stock movement. Thanks for that too JB.
Thank you amazon.
True statement. There are many that want them to stop allowing them to trade. Lots of articles that are easy to find about how they can hurt your portfolio.
Cup and handle?
Don’t forget, the market is actually down quit a bit. Just sayin.
I do have to say, gas around me is so cheap I can’t believe it. The frustrating part is all of my gas tanks have been full with the same gas for three weeks. I live two miles from the furthest place I need to go and I think if I go now I could probably buy about 3 gallons.
Correct. And they’ve removed items that were touting any kind of false cure or way to prevent the virus. Individual sellers are the culprits, not amazon.
Awesome! I love the mob. And pasta.
I agree, it will fill a gap. Personally I love Face ID, it’s really well done, if the phone starts ringing with loud music and I just look over at the phone it turns the ringer down instantly. If you’re reading something the phone won’t dim the screen until you aren’t looking at it anymore. They’ve incorporated it into lots of the phones capabilities, in future iterations it will be able to tell if you’re in a good or bad mood via facial expressions and thermal imaging which is starting to get a little creepy. It will probably be able to tell you you’re getting a temperature.
I admit my Xs Max is stupidly large but I’m used to it and wouldn’t want to watch news clips and stuff on a smaller screen now that I’m used to it.
Inovio, a company that actually makes drugs, his begun phase 1 human testing already, it’s in the news. NNVC has scheduled a slot to make a presentation about how awesome their platform is. This is what they always do. Just like Ebola, real drug companies will solve this problem and NNVC will try to sell some stock.
Of course past performance doesn’t mean they will continue on the same path. Possibly they have decided to make drugs after decades of not and multiple reverse stock splits without which this would be trading at 8 cents.
I think VPLM’s new lawyer has a Saul Goodman style office in the back room of an Asian beauty salon complete with the hot water heater in the corner. The disturbing part is he’s the best lawyer ever at this point, you know, now that we’ve “progressed” to the point of that awesome one cent a share market cap.
So what is your gut feeling about apple’s upcoming earnings?
Bout to kill earnings.
Good call.
He has many shirts. All exactly the same, puts a clean one on every day. Einstein did that too.
