The not so distant future...
HMNY ---> HMNYQ
MP ---> PRIVATE
1.6B shares @ 0.0006 pps, but worthless due to trade volume of 0.
Then all your dreams can shift to grandiose imaginations of the off chance of a most unlikely reverse merger to give you warm fuzzies at night. Or become like scum yourself and find other innocents to scam into buying bits of this pyrite stock.
At least you will have some time to make up for the loss
The chart actually looks the same as when my dog does his butt scoot across the floor. It's just a long drawn out dragggg across the .017s It's going no where. If any of pumper enthusiasts really did some digging and stopped over flexing their kiegals in excitement when a obvious PR charade was released they could understand. Mitch wants you to only see the obvious. It's a slight of hand manuver to take your eyes off what they don't want you to see. Keep your eyes on the cup with the little red ball if you can. But the ball has already been tucked away and any cup you choose is empty. And you dollar gets swept up from you to the street hustler.
I know. Someone was insinuating that I was a short.
Totally agree. I was responding to someone who called me a shorter.

Small geographical price variation, ok. But still max of 3 movies.
I'm citing direct quotes and facts from the two articles. What am I twisting. Let me know.
I bet there is a big proxy battle going on between HMNY & MP over the patent rights. Case seems to be holding water. And Mitch looks to distance himself from Ted and looks to lessen the dependence on HMNY quite publicly. Could get ugly and messy for this group of greedy bstrds.
Quote in NY times article mentions "investors" don't they have investors? That would be us right? Its a very clear sign that MP is definitely being taken private. Mitch even admits as much in the other article released in Variety. Shareholders are going to be left with shares of now broke, no assets, tapped out HMNY and Ted. At least we still have Zone...
And without MP we know where HMNY is going. Ted Kavorkian euthination.
Two of the plans are available as of tomorrow "special holiday" pricing. Because they are out of money and needing it bad. And sub numbers are so terrible they can't talk about it. Again, why did we have to wait so long for this? This should have happened months ago.
The short crap is getting old. I invest, I don't trade. I'm just calling it like I see it. I'll be here in the pre market. Get back with me then.
Its still 3 movies. Same price for plain old plan. Ohhh, now I get to pay a little more to see it when I want, big deal. Ohhh, now I get Imax/3D should have always had the opportunity. Maybe if they had these a long time ago they could have kept some subs and AMC and Sinemia wouldn't have had the chance to advance as far as they have. Now no subs and our shares are pennies. They used to be dimes, and before that dollers. And if you think your a late buy in and your pennies will revert back the other way. MP is going to get spun off and go private. Mitch spells it out in plain English. It's all there.
Picture in the article has 66yr old Mitch uncomfortably positioned sporting his Nike sneaks and Khalid in a sport coat he has owned since he was 12 years old, obviously way to small. What happened to proper business attire? I'm supposed to trust my hard earned money with these shmucks. No wonder this company runs like crap.
Everybody just see Mitch sneaking off and letting the poor guy who just got promoted take the Executive scapegoat position.
No really, think about it. If the future was bright wouldn't Mitch be sticking around for the day to day? No he's leaving it to someone else. People thinking this is great news. Trash talk me tomorrow if you want. I'll check in at 4 am.

BobVisse, tripped up, no call.
Newztanz, shot and a goal!
Lamborghini dealership going to get a lot of calls to cancel orders tomorrow. Heh heh heh
The plans are not really much different to what is offered today. Still only 3 movies just pay more to see them sooner or later. Competition has a better reputation and price point. I think to call them new plans is just another dishonest play on words.
They obviously know that. HMNY was and is crap. Ted's a smuck so no one cares. And MP is going private so who cares. We all get what we want. Watch Dr Ted Kavorkian get what he deserves and Mitch gets to take MP private again and he will be the sole benefactor. He out finagled Ted. It's like he is a bigger scammer than Ted. It's just the cost to the investors, was it worth it? Nope, what a @#!?ing bummer!
Finally some straight honest truth to the situation. I have to admit it's kind of a mix of a happy innocent kids cartoon and a horribly dark gruesome horror film. I have guesses on how the market will react. People are going to be angry and resentful. Tomorrow will be a good day to get the heck out or get in. It depends on your current position. Read the article twice if not three times and read between the lines and subjectfully really try and think about what's being said. Things like MP spinoff private??? Not excepting anymore $ from HMNY??? Massive loss of subscribers??? I especially didn't like the comment from the new "Exclusive VP" about experimenting with current subscribers and thats ok cause we're a "start up" we're figuring it out. F them! That is going to rub people the wrong way. It's a definitely a raw statement. And you know what it still doesn't have. A genuine appologie directed to those that deserve one. And it is still missing the really important fundimental facts. And the facts it does disclose are exactly what the investors we're afraid to hear. You all saw the part where it says delisted is certain, scarrrrry. Tomorrow is a learning day. Class starts at 9:30 sharp. Try and get a PM sell order in, Maybe the market won't see the article for a while news sometimes takes a while to sink in with HMNY. Nah, I guarantee it's too late. This sucks.
No update yet to the available movies page on MP. Is this a big happy surprise of the end to limited availability of movies. Or in light of Bob Visse's article titled "MoviePass maybe finding some footing" is MP going to stumble and take a big trip. The suspense is killing me. The amplitude and trade frequency from last week and beginning of this week has me thinking that they are low on cash. We will see. I'm Xcited.
Because I only patronize this quality site and MB. I'm not a
ni-twit. If he sees my opinion and cares to fledge against my counter points he can do it here. This is where I speak. And out of respect I wouldn't go to his place of public existance and tred my opinion in his comfort zone. I'm sure he has his own reputation there. It would be rude for me to just go blasphim him in his neighborhood.
Maybe if they want to generate a working business model they will get that in order before perhaps the holiday gift giving season. This company has failed, and failed, then failed again, and then another fail, etc, etc, etc repeating for infinity.
Visse's last article is absolutely incorrect in so many ways. The points he makes are unsubstantiated and outright incorrect. I could rip it to shreads if I wanted to take the time to write a point for point debunk on his article but I just don't think he would ever see my rebute to his article and it would take the fun out of contradicting and proving against his points. Nor do I think it would do any good to pick a blog fight with the guy. He has written off base articles before and appologize for it. He has sworn off covering MP and has been one to give people stern warnings against HMNY. With no real credible facts in his last article he is just starting to sound like a bi-polar fair weather fan. Doing what all blog attention seeking authors do, writting an article to get the most views to bloat his own ego. Come on Bob your site is titled building financial freedom. Sure for you perhaps. But I really feel the reading audience drawn to your site was intending on themselves receiving perhaps some advice to aid in their quest for financial freedom, not throw a click coin into your already full bucket of pennys. By the way Bob you have stated that you don't short your shares of HMNY. But I have read an article about how you lend your HMNY shares out for a cut of interest. Maybe you should address this claim publicly and get a baseline understanding of honesty. I would love to have a conversation with Bob, send him my way. Tell him he can find me here on IHub.
Post #36979 contains a link to a MP informational document of their business model, plan & future numbers for business metrics. It is created by MP themselves. It shows that their subscribers were in fact growing at exactly the rate they were speculating. It debunks the "extreme growth" excuse. Reddit threads certainly do not support his statement of "suprisinly good movie availability" statement. Also for Bob to generalize CostCo customers are freeloading jobless glutons with nothing but free time and the ambition to abuse and over consume is outright obnoxious. I find it a mistake for someone who is supposed to be more objective and refined to make such a obnoxious degrading remark. And I'm sure CostCo and it's customers would be very offended to hear that he published such a statement. He has retracted articles before and I think his most recent would be one he should choose to remove for his own public opinions sake. I used to love Bob's articles because although very dreamy I found them very intelligent, depthful and fact filled. But this last article is very unlike him. I find it to be very speculative with little fact to back up his observations and his outright blame and dis on CostCo customers is un called for. MP made the choice and negotiated the deal with CostCo. Nobody forced their dealings with CostCo. Ish Bob, ish.
MP website list of available movies ends with today. Someone else check to make sure I'm looking at it correctly. When does it normally update?
Watched the 1st ten minutes so far and it brings me back to a point of thought I have been pondering. The amount of money they have spent is astronomical. First we have HMNYs investment tens of millions. We have Mitch's investment millions. Then we have the the money from actual subscribers. In addition to all that we have the sale of equity shares, hundreds of millions of shares. I haven't sat down and written any estimated calculations but just eye balling it, it doesn't add up that this isn't more stable of a system. Also I see no excuse that a team of people who's job it is to calculate and account for this service have some how let it get this out of control. Somewhere somehow bad calculations and bad accounting was made. Multiple times in fact. There should never have been the need for the 1st R/S. Poor business management I really feel is the bottom line of the issue here. The mindset to run a loose business and lean on the investors to support that mentality is not what good business management does.
Requesting authorization to PM, thank you...
Glad you brought that example up. I read that information when it was released. I am currently sitting at a lost of 11.74% Now my cash has been tied up for months and it's depleted. Which brings me back to my stance on HMNY I didn't bother to read every single post on this board since Aug because I wanted to bash those who are positive, because I myself (believe it or not) am positive. I have held hoards of shares at one time like many on here do now. But I joined this board to belong to a group of similar interests individuals to collaborate on the daily facts and info to streamline my ability to process and play this security to the best possible method. Which is why I take the stance I do today. Using my previous mistakes and utilizing what I have learned. I feel it isn't a buy right now. There is just to much risk currently to go all in. I have many positive opinions regarding the viability of the MP product in fact I think it is the best "potential" product on The market, but not today. I think that the competition does currently provide a better value for the consumer. While saying this I can see the "big picture" that MP has in mind and it's that same vision that I think Mitch talks about and it's that same thought that captivated me as a newb, the same that brings in new investors. That vision is a seriously long time away, even further with the impulsive erratic decisions made by management. Good job on the historical research that has been put together. I wish it had been available to me as easily as it is for the innocent fresh investors. Many of us had to live it to learn it. Don't think my signature statements at the bottom of my posts are for you, they are for me to keep me humble and to keep me honest and to keep me from making the same mistakes again. I keep a sum of funds in my account where is is stable and safe on reserve for the day I think HMNY is "ripe". The attitude of my posts will clearly shift when that time comes. But for now Im holding my horses because yes, I look at my portfolio and I get to see that my P is down 11.74% and I wonder why hasn't SIRI picked me up yet? Because newztanz it's not the right time yet and you got the cart in front of the horse.
And here is another good article with important fundimentals. It's older (Aug), but doesn't seem like that matters much on here lately.
http://socialresponsibleinvest.blogspot.com/2018/08/?m=1
Exactly!! Great point! Which is exactly why everyone should still expect an R/S despite the spin off. Great point Pink 2 long! I appreciate your thoughts. Keep up the good work. Doing everything we can to equilize the pressure and stabilize the over pumped pressure on this MB.

The closing statement of the article.
"Don't touch HMNY with a bargepole."
Screwed their 1st set of investors. Screwed their 2nd set of investors.
Uh, we need another set of investors to believe that they will be the benefactors of the first two sets of investors efforts. And it's working I have not heard one shread of decency from the new longs for the losses of the previous. I hope you dump all your money into this and become the 3rd set of suckers. And guess what the 4th set won't have any respect for you either.
It comes back full circle to the underlying simple analasys fundimental question of doubt for this company. It would take money to impliment the "expansion". MP doesn't have any. Where are they going to get it? I know everyone bullish on this company are convinced that R/S is off the table. But how can you allow yourself to think this way. The filings for the last 3 months state R/S as the one solution presented by HMNY for their situation. Even the thought of "spin off" doesn't eliminate the R/S proposal. It's just a way for Ted to double tap his investors. Even if the infringement case goes positive it will be a long while before settlement. Dec 10th is just a scheduling conference, nothing more. This stock may someday (years) be a profit generator. But untill then it's a moneypit.
Ok, I'll keep them.
There was no chance @ $1 coming into today and now that we are 1½ hours from end of day. No chance at achieving the ten day rectification before the 18th. De-list letter may as well be in the mail as of today.
So pumps, what's the big optimistic dream theory? Give me a reason to hold onto my 9371 shares.

"When did you sign up? How many movies did you see? Has your cumulative total expenditure been less than buying tickets at the box office?
They banked it all on an unsustainable system, and failed. If anyone was screwed over, it was the shareholders not the consumers."
