edit in volume from 34 mill to 30 mill, i hate when they do that!
I have never done this, but given the tense circumstance, I believe I need to leave my logic behind. (just finished one of my final papers on the economics of social mobility and feel the need to say this, as I hope to move to the upper upper class!!! )(also I need to vent, these finals are killing me)
EFGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To the MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!
I believe we can be in the quater range in a year or so if management handles things well, like I said in my poorly worded message at 1:30 last night, lots of shares can be handled well. I think we have a financially intelligent team that can make this work.
One more time for good measure. EFGO TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!
While I agree with the value part of you statement I dissagree. They may be diluting the value of the shares now, but that only hurts the flipper, if you hold long term there is a chance they rebuy the shares once things kick in. A free loan if you will. They issue bonds (debt) or get a signature bank loan and now they have a Legal responsibility to pay principle and interest. Issuing shares allows them to fullfill their obligation to their shareholders and maintain a business. If the money is used to grow the business I do not mind issuance of shares within reason. If there is an unlimited shares being issue, then it cannot be for business IMO.
Also note that cash from shares is a little easier to deal with in terms of a company taking risks and going out on a limb (like hiring all these bigshots they have brought in) if they had to be conservative so they could pay the mortgage (make monthly payments) that is one more difficulty to overcome in a growing business.
All in all I see both sides, but I take the route of no dilution, and if there is, if it benefits the long term growth of the company. I would rather hold a year and be completely solvent, than worry about them making payments to their debtors and risk bankruptcy in which case we as shareholders recieve nothing as a form of subordinate party. This stock is not for the faint of heart, but if things go as we are led to believe it is for the intelligent investor.
ALL IMHO!
I think the bleeding is slowing down, and I agree things are going well. It is the day to day trading that sucks. I had a meeting with a wachovia securities VP and some old accounting friends from my banking days, and it was a good morning not watching every freakin tick.
I think the good news will come. Thanks to those of you who are intelligent level headed and continue to do great research.
7.5 million AVG price buy after hours.
I just saw 29 down to 26 again after you said that... something is wierd. Was that chain of dumps for 800k a piece fake?
you own. Nice mirror down haha.
Not too bad.. could move nice as things perk up. Nice CMF

5,000,000 avg price trade after hours.
I agree this bugs me! but I do not think its the big D as we are down on low volume which is typical of trades, people in a hurry sell off. I think the problem is no steady buying, people trying to dump at the ask, and those bidwackers.
I slapped the ask with the last of my $$ just under 2 mill for me...
I owned that too, out in the nick of time. I give the credit to others though, not my intuition. This management team is 10425432653064306340 times better. I have believe the R/s to be out of spite.
hey Rig, you will never guess who I actually spoke to on the phone today!!!!!!!!
Your buddy Roger Rinney! It is my managers 10th year at the trade, so he was calling to talk to him, and I happened to answer... hahahahahahahaaha.
the e-mails were around 1.4
please forward to me. My address is listed, but its rgfinancial_services@yahoo.com
Thanks!
did you sell, go into a coma, then wake up to buy back in?
plus the fact that 2.9 market cap is a joke...
I am not gonna rule that out... volume is dry here lately... So with buying pressue we would pull a UMCC
You want some off topic fun??!? lol I only have 2 million shares. (all my spare money as I have tried to keep going in college w/o debt) But when this baby takes off to hopefully a dime at least, I am getting one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-Mercedes-Benz-CLS-63-Silver-Black-only-4k-miles_W0QQitemZ2701145...
I am sick of my '01 Cadillac falling apart. If I want to be a financial bigshot, I gotta start rolling like one! 500 HP in a sedan are you kidding me?!!?
I didnt delete it, but I am speculating it was deleted for the language. Some people ** out letters in swear words, but not very often the F word. Also I believe that it was established that WTF was innappropriate as well. While believe me I understand your frustration, some of us have been here a looooooooooooong time, this is still a professional environment. Things really should be cleaned up here, a lot of the slacked rules is what causes major fights.
Again I am just guessing, hope that helps.
I guess your right, good call. I am at work and sometimes Watching the trading platform sometimes my eyes trick me...
nice catch.
4.2 million after hours trade at .0006
They were eliminating a few of the steps involved in currency trading. It was my impression that because they were a "bare" minimum, no middle man broker they could afford the low spread. They also bank on volume to make the profit, not the spread gap.
A bit of Forex talk (just as a reminder) I subscribe to SFO magazine (stock futures and options). It is a great resource on trading and the markets, more towards traders, rather than personal finance like Money would be. (check out SFOmag.com you can get a free subscription) Anyways, in the march issue, it was dedication to forex markets. As we know it is a 1.5 TRILLION dollar market. It aslo has BOOOOOMED in the last 2 years. Many brokers continue to see the same growth continue in the future.
Now I have been trading currency using FXCM and in certain times during the day, they modify the PIP spread (for example the EUR/USD used to be 3 pips, but now it sometimes fluctuates between 2 and 3, which is REALLY ANNOYING). Now any professional or active currency trader will find this annoying I guarantee! Once Espirit gets established their fixed 2 pip spread (and can someone that has used their demo verify, they have 2 pip spread on all major currency pairs? or just a few active ones) I think they can have huge potential from this alone. FOREX will be huge, especially since it is world wide.
I think the debt and card processing is big too, but that carries a bit more risk, stay tuned for another rant on the other financial products, this was my forex rant...
I agree I think with at 100 share "signal" followed by an ASK UT, they will up the bid if the buying pressue occurs at .0007 IMHO. I believe it was a shake.
**EDIT** they did UT the bid.
Sure, its alright, and I may be wrong, I dont have lvl 2. Just the T&S and something just isnt jiving. I am definetly not like things....but continue to hold.
What do you mean no buys? the last few prints have been at the ask (likely not selling at the ask) and there are unconfirmed buys at the bid, but the looong strings on the bid, the shares must go somewhere, but if retail buys them or MM's get them I am not sure, but for you to say there hasnt been buys is untrue.
Who has 50000 on the bid? (lot size?)
They (FXCM) keep changing the PIP spread on the EUR/USD from 2-3, EFGO is gonna have such a niche if they offer a 2 pip spread on all spots. People that do this often and know what they are doing will love that!
speaking of AAPL how about those may 95 calls? easiest 75% I have ever made... Far easier and less risky than what we do here.
Thank god for making money and that thing called capitalism!
Another stock I made a ton of $$ on was CHDX (42% in a month) they sell medical devices in China. The Asian consumer is a powerful tool now, I think our banking and forex relationships over there will be far more lucrative than we currently thing they will be!
Haha, I already applied to be a junior associate in the institutional sales and trading department. The recruiter was very impressed with my qualifications, but it is their policy to not hire sophomores.... are you kidding me?!
Currently FXCM because i had an account with them. I just logged in, and notice i hit all my stops from last week and made 8k just by entering them and walking away for a week. I will make a EFGO one soon maybe.
M&I here in Milwaukee is hiring a currency trader, think I have a shot?!? hahaha i wish!
in EUR/USD @ 1.3593 and again at 1.3598. I am also in GBP/USD @ 1.9899
So I have been playing around with the forex trading. I am a finance/accounting major so all things money interest me. Someday I want to be a trader, if not I will settle with broker.
Anyways, I am hoping to make a bunch here so I can really start trading forex. Thanks to the leverage, I have invested 3k (thats 30k worth of currency at the max lot size) and made $1900 in about 15 minutes...
The nice thing about forex is, if you take short enough profit you dont really need to DD the economic data is longer term direction, you can trade off of charts almost flawlessly...
I dont want to speculate or over read that, but hypothetically if this "investor" returned, that could be a really nice day.
Think he means one of our investors allinXXX or whatever or Strongus?
Do I think it causes problems, sure do... look what it has done here. I believe that the information should be given to whomever requests it, if the reciever is willing.
Just posting everything isnt right either there are some discretion and IMO moral obligations of "senior" traders to try and protect and educate rookie traders. This is tricky because at what point are you "senior" and who has the authority to enforce it. Personally I feel its my duty to try and answer and educate (and protect) people that arent familiar with what is going on.
Whether that is fair or not is an arguement I dont think has a right answer... its kinda like some political issues, what side of the fence are you on?
huh?!? What?!? I fell asleep. No excitement, no chatter.
um GOOOOO EFGOOOO!!!
DOW 50 points over 13k wooooooo! American capitalism WOOOOOO!
We could use a market here... haha
No MM's, as much as I would like to think its because we hurt their feelings, it just looks like they are affraid of the lack of buying pressure.
good to see we are all friends again.
Let us do something productive and bash the MM's!
