It is definitely one of the most attractive pinkies I have come across in the cannabis sector-no doubt in my mind. Revs going forward should prove this out.
Hark-they biddeth higher!
Wouldn't be surprised to see some higher bids as the day latens,,,,,
The building is impressive, for sure. Imagine also the kind of distribution warehouse you could have here: international hub from the center of the cannabis world shipping out daily, world-wide.
This ain't your dad's kind of reefer anymore......
That long ago Bill and Livewire were a different company. Now, I can't place myself in Bill's shoes, so the loan may have made sense to him at the time. In hindsight it appears to be a deal with the Devil, but I may have done the same thing, so no moral judgement here.
The sector needs news, LVVV/GHC needs news, and none of has any control of the who what where when why. I think timing is key, and if LVVV has their ducks in a row when the Feds relax and the banks come online we will see nice, if not spectacular, gains.
I hope that Bill is putting as much time/energy into the distribution vector because that may well be the bonanza. Distributors get a piece of the action just by being in the game.
I really think that Bill was on the right track with the Mojave/Alpha/Sacred buy-ins, but that is a slippery slope to pursue if you have a weak cash position AND you are building out something like Paso/Coachella. It is why our ties to Mojave were trumped by High Hampton, which is much healthier cash-wise.
Now, it appears, Bill is "betting the farm" lol on the cloning operation. This is fine, and a bit more of an unproven avenue, as my contacts with CEO's have left me thinking that distribution, dispensary and extract/concentrate licenses are going to be the end-game trophies.
In Bill's favor is the explosion of cultivator's that will need quality clones/strains and 7XPure as it evolves. We can't look back and say that cloning is NOT a good idea since we are literally in a explosive phase for clone demand industry-wide. I mean there must be 100 permits in San Luis Obispo alone at the 22,000 sq.ft. level. It is imperative to now ready supply and have a sales team in place to marry supply with demand.
Hoping, as usual, that next week we gain some insight into the exciting path we are on.
Appears to be a 6-month note, with a free $50,000 in shares (restricted) to boot. NOT a good deal for LVVV at face-value-20% interest and due in 6 months with a $50K share kicker-not the kind of loan I would sign up for unless my nuts were in a vise.

Is this the Sunny (Shady?) Sky Realty deal back in 2015?
The whole sector is in a sideways funk. Without broad-reaching Federal and banking legislation, there will be no meaningful input of new money. Once Federally legal and bank-friendly, we see the NASDAQ listings, we see institutional inflow, we see Mom and Pop and the kid next door buying in. You might as well pursue a rewarding hobby or start jogging (or, yogging as Will Farrell would say) unitl then.
This is one step forward, one back until the FedFog is lifted.
I think this last year has been the quiet before the storm. Now the clouds are overhead and it's going to rain dollar bills once the Feds legalize medical. Then the postal service can deliver, banks can transact and companies like LVVV will reap the rewards of all this hard work.
I'd hate to be just starting this process today!
Today's news with Aurora is big. Aurora Larssen is already doing the design for the CoachellaGro operation, and now we have a big player ont he board which opens up HUGE opportunities going forward. This is really big news, tough it appears subtle.
I'm channeling Buddha for some juicy news from LVVV. You can do it!
In other CRAZY BIG news:
Toronto, ON - High Hampton Holdings Corp. (CSE: HC) (FSE: 0HCN) ("High Hampton" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Dieter MacPherson, the current Senior Vice President, Operations, at Aurora Cannabis Inc. (ACB-TSX), has been appointed as an independent member to its board of directors. The appointment further extends the Company’s expertise in the cannabis industry and supports High Hampton’s aggressive expansion in the California cannabis market.
Keep in mind that HH has Aurora Larssen doing the design for their CoachellaGro gig. This means that Aurora is NOT TOO FAR from us, and maybe just maybe Bill is in a position to tap into this INCREDIBLE opportunity to partner with Aurora-just thinking out loud here...........
I hope that he and Bill stay friendly, but it's competitive out there!!! Oklahoma land race and no one appears to be sharing their hay.......
Our boy Gary Latham:
That would require a understanding of meteorology and the effects of humidity on paint curing.
Yes, I hear you. I feel like the MJ industry has been given a big handicap. Licensing fees, sales taxes, transfer taxes, income taxes-the California legislature thinks that everyone entering this game is going to make crazy-mad money, but I think not. Maybe alcohol and tobacco are similarly taxed, but those businesses have HUGE economies of scale, whereas most Cannabis companies lack the capital to scale.
No one knows what demand truly is, because the hands of this industry have been bound by Federal regulation's prevention of bank and interstate commerce. When the Feds come on-board, there will be Federal and interstate taxes to contend with.
I think the extract business is good because weed is becoming a commodity and extracts/concentrates lend themselves well to mark-up through branding and endorsements. I always thought Bill was on track with the Mojave/Alpha/ and Sacred buy-ins, but you saw with Mojave what happens when someone with cash rolls along. Good news is that Bill has plenty of other opps. with the clones and existing deals still in place.
So up-listing historically causes a 25% bump, but that doesn't amount to much now. We need to peek behind the curtain to see what Bill has brewing. He is keeping matters close to the vest for now, and we need to get back on the radar. Patience is needed perhaps.
Here Today thanks-it dumbfounds me how this industry has come this far, and you still cannot use the banking system to transact business. And this Government claims to be rationale? Prudent? Fair? It's like me giving you a bus pass and then dynamiting all the bridges.
I believe that Bill and team have out exhaustive time and effort into the Paso Robles project. You don't go through all the crap with the county, lease negotiation, etc., etc., without a complete white-board strategy-unless, of course, you are crazy.
Some people are talking like Bill just stepped foot on the property.....
I think that medical cannabis in North Dakota is a Fargo-ne conclusion!
Damn! I never make mistakes! Ha-yes, I meant to that there are few better plays, and I mean that.
JD and Zig good points. The feds will be a game changer, and maybe/probably the companies that establish themselves in California will pave the way nationally with Fed legalization. It would be interesting to know what cloners are doing in other states where cannabis is legal medically/recreationally. They may be our allies/competitors moving forward. But distribution, now that could be a huge asset once federally legal as then the state borders open up :)
I think you are right. He has his finger on the pulse of this sector as it is evolving. I think that time will tell, for sure. My biggest "if" in this whole equation is suppose that the business model evolves to the point that due to lower prices for flower grower's MUST grow their own clones. I think that the formula is about 15-20% of your grow would need to be clones/teens, area-wise. Will out-sourcing clones be an option if cannabis prices fall due to so many cultivators coming on-line?? if the price of gold falls so much that I have to make my own shovels, then the shovel guy goes under.
Just trying to argue both ways in fairness-it may be many years before this happens, but the counter-argument would be that world demand and increased numbers of canni-consumers will absorb the increased supply, and prices per kilo will stabilize, even go up, given global demand potential.
Any thoughts?? I'd love to see how Bill is viewing the demand-side, and if he sees barriers to entry based on growers in-sourcing their clone stock. I think a lot of growers have had instances of major problems with pest- and disease-ridden clones wiping out their grows, so it will be essential to have this never happen-not even once.
So much of this industry is evolving, and it is difficult to read the ultimate play-out. Who will the survivors be, and in what sectors/niches? Which licenses will prove most-lucrative?
From my conversations with some major players, branding, dispensaries, distribution channels will be key. I think, in summary, that at this price level LVVV is a good bet. I don't see Bill chasing ghosts right now. He seems to be aware of, and pursuing, the channels which he and his professional team are identifying as relative and timely. No one has a better view of this than him/them.
I think that news-a-plenty is about to hit. There a few better penny plays in the OTC right now. I'm holding a good chunk and will add if I see volume and SP movement in the RIGHT direction.
I think that one thing we need to keep in mind has been VERY overlooked-TIMING. A ton of cultivation permits will be issued going forward in San Luis Obispo county, and the demand for clones will have people lined up in Paso Robles. Look at all the 3-acre applications-that's a LOT of clones.

Timing is everything, and I see demand being solid.
Looking at these license fees, man-not cheap!

In a related story-HH getting there rev's on. And McKinley don;t delete this-LVVV is a HH shareholder and anything related to HH is relevant to this board and it's members.

LOL! No zig, I only said that the weekly chart was telling me that .012 was solid support, not that it would ever get there. Unfortunately charts never say enough, but support levels are important in guiding adds for sure.
A-greed
And if my intuition/research serve me, HH is going to be a very big gainer. The market expects nothing right now, so any break Federally will send the whole sector ape stanky.
Anyone know if Bill still has the High Hampton shares? She's pushing 30 centavos........
I'll get started on the pre-rolls.............
Ferr my take-and I speak from experience-the larger clones have been used for cuttings (small mother plants), or have been recently rooted as larger teen clones. Normally, mothers are quite a bit larger, but within a pod system, they are likely to be smaller, like these. Also, plants grow geometrically if topped properly, so the bigger the mother, the more clones you get. It is taxing on a smaller plant to take clones. If the clones themselves looked anemic, I would be worried. The timing of the picture is probably bad-the anemic-looking plants may well be larger cuttings that have just rooted and have been placed in soil recently-in a week these will be well along. Taller clones may not fit in the domes, and therefore become anemic from respiration and nutrient loss.
My plants are always crazy-healthy. Here's a few of mine:
Yes-it seems like good news followed bu selling-for now. The reach on twitter isn't enough to bolster volume, and maybe this is by design with Bill. Horse in the gate, but they won't let her run. This may be the most patient board on iHub.
I have said that .012 is support :) Hope I'm wrong in a good way.
Nice facility-looks like you could eat off the floor-nice job, Kyle. Also noticing that GHC is carrying the torch. Maybe LVVV will be the silent parent going forward? Observing that the teens are prominent population there, which shows you that growers want larger stock-less time to flower and some growers even would go to flower cycle with some of the taller ones.
This is baby groot-wait til groot grows up in good ol' San Luis.
Sox even thought the financials may be audited, the OTC can still request more information. A statement of income may require clarification as to it's type and source, etc. Once again, we are at their mercy-kind of like the gladiators-thumb up-or down.
Have a nice weekend all. I was thinking how we all need to be a little more patient-at a time when for many patience is wearing thin. This entire sector is groping along in the dark right now. Yes-there are many clone and other companies that have been in the game since medical became legal, but even they are now fighting to abide by and understand the myriad of legal complexities in this "budding" industry.
Companies like Livewire have an idea of what will work, bit no one fully grasps how this industry will ultimately play out. We all have a front-row seat (wish I had one for the Warriors!). The visionaries will be the leaders, but as the Federal Gov moves to legalize cannabis we will have even more bureaucracy to deal with. A good company now is throwing ideas against the wall and is quickly able to determine if they are traveling down the right road. Bill seems very capable of this, as well as his team.
We are all back-seat drivers trying to get to the same place, but let's be patient and realize that a lot has been done, and any company now entering the game has to get to where we are to even BE in the game. While I would not bet the farm on any OTC company, LVVV has a solid shot at providing handsome returns to those who man the vigil. We know that there are successful clone companies out there, but with millions of square feet being built out annually by new and existing permit holders we have not even begun to understand the true potential of this niche. Past measures of success in the clone businesses have been base on a fraction of today's demand, and while many growers will grow there own clone stock many, many others will not.
No one ever thought that Apple would ultimately be a phone company, but that is what has transpired.
