You won't get bashed from me. I've been burned enough in pink land to be skeptical about any promises from companies on pink sheets. I'm still holding and long on this one but I'll believe it when I see it. Not bashing here, just not going to live in a fantasy land. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than horribly disappointed.
Hope you are right. If there is no good news coming soon as far as sales I tend to think they are just buying time to dump as many shares as they can. They are apparently talking next quarter before we are really going to know anything about acquistion and if I undestand it correctly that means someone else will be acquiring HISC. Just hope it is a good deal for shareholders. I agree that is seems logical that Frank would want the pps as high as possible for himself and other officers of company. The thing that always worries me on these pinkies is there is really no way of knowing for sure how much dulution is taking place. They can say whatever they want, but none of us knows for sure what the present O/S is - I know some of you will argue with that, but just look at what happened to GZFX last week.
By using the term "Target company" it sounds like they are intent on buying another company, but I don't get where the moola is coming from unless it is shares. If it is shares it has to be a pretty small company they are buying, and there will be some major dilution. In that case I would hope the company they buy adds enough value that dilution won't be a problem. Just speculating and guesing though.
GREAT NEWS!
At least for me - I leave the country for two weeks beginning next week, I won't have access to a computer, therefore there is no possiblity for me to obsess over this.
I fully expect RCP, Tex, Spence, Jersey and the rest to have this all figured out when I come home. Further, I expect to look at my Scottrade account and discover I can pay off the house, buy my wife a new car, get a Harley for myself, pay for my four sons college education and fully fund my retirement account (listed in nor particular order).
We can dream can't we?
I thought it was Steve Jobs
I hope you are right. I don't see how they can buy a larger company that is already on Nasdaq or Amex. Not enough cash, and share price is so low they would have to have major dilution which would only drive the pps down even further.
Maybe we get bought out and merged - and hopefully Frank will do it in such a way that HISC shareholders benefit from the deal.
Questions:
Is HISC buying someone or being bought?
If buying someone else - where are they getting the cash from?
Are they dumping shares to raise cash?
We aren't going to know the real number of O/S now are we?
I'm still holding, in red zone now, but won't lose yet unless I sell.
I hope Frank is looking out for the shareholders interests and not just Frank's interests on this deal.
Feels like they are just kicking the can down the road a little further to me
We shall see>
Some speculate - reading tea leaves for a sign
Some pontificate - thinking their knowledge is divine
Others just regurgitate - time after time after time
I just patiently wait - It's gonna be just fine
Nothing has changed except the pps
Uplist, acquistion, contracts
Thanks for the reply. I guess it is a crap shoot now. Can't help but lose some confidence in the management. They were selling shares into the market, diluting, taking advantage of investors who were in the dark, not being clear aobut the number of subs, etc.
Seems like a typical penny stock deal where the only ones who end up with anything are company officers and MM's.
Holding my shares. Out of town when the price dropped so I couldn't sell if I had wanted to.
Thankful it seems to be coming back up some, but based on the reaction of last week, it news hits that CC deal is over than it will be a massive flood to the exits.
At this point I doubt if managment cares about pps and shareholders - actions speak louder than words. They have their cash on hand, they have their pay checks thanks to us, what do they care if everyone panics and sells out.
Only reason they might care is if they are still dumping shares.
OK I vented - now still hoping for some good news and a better week ahead.
Sorry to ask this, but I was out of pocket and things apparently went nuts the last few days. I understand we've got a truck load of shares out now - but I can't seem to get a clear answer on the CC deal - dead or moving forward?
Thanks,
Nothing I disagree with there. I don't believe this is a sure thing, but what is in stock especially penny stocks. Even the big board is not a sure thing. I know some guys who were in Lucent big time and if they had sold when it was around $80 they could have lived comfortably the rest of their lives. But they were sure it could never tank. Well they still have their day jobs. So you never know. You just have to "know when to hold em and know when to fold em." I'm more an more convinced that is about half DD, common sense, study, charts, etc. and about half luck.
Good points, will they make it? Who knows but more likely now than a year ago. Will they execute the business plan? Not sure but seems like they are moving that way. Will the longs make a killing on this? No gaurantee, but IMHO it is worth the risk.
I doubt that Amer Bull was trying to pull anything over on anyone. They have some stocks I have looked at in the past that they have not done well on. There was a change over in the way they present the info recently and not long after you couldn't get gzfx in their search engine. I think it may have been dumped from their data base during that change. Don't know that for a fact, just assuming.
Just reading posts from the weekend, don't have a problem with the numbers and I used to think you guys might be right that he was holding back on announcing sales and contracts, but with the last couple of sales prs that came out I doubt that. If he is going to PR the trucking company and the tug boat company than seems to be reasonable that big sales would be pr'ed also. Apple is getting paid in shares and in my opinion is selling them off as soon as he gets them. So it also stands to reason that he would want the share price going up. Now, if by chance I really thought Apple was holding on to his shares then I would think there was some big numbers being withheld. Or maybe Apple isn't being told everything by Frank and the boys at HISC.
The whole thing must be getting to me cause now I'm arguing with myself.
Looks like a sale and not a buy to me.
Was able to buy some today at .045, kept waiting to see if we hit bottom before I bought more. Still below .05 avg pps, hopefully we are on the way up from here. Uplist uplist uplist uplist - sales sales sales sales - acquistion acquistion....not much else to say except that mantra
I agree. This is not bad news, but when they don't tell you the size of the order it hints that it is a small order and that they are embarassed by it. Go ahead and say, "This is a small step toward making the CT the industry standard tracking device. These initial sales will demonstrate how reliable and effective this tracking device is." Tell everyone how many CT's the guy bought and how many he will buy in the future. One of my first jobs was a small privately owned retail store. We started carrying TVs. You bet the first one we sold we told our friends about it and we weren't embarassed that it was one TV. Sure Best Buy wouldn't boast about that small of a sale, but we did because it proved we could compete and make sales and we had a good product at a good price. When we told other people we made a sell it made them think that maybe they ought to come in a see what we had instead of assuming the big stores were the only game in town. I'm sure there are basher who would knock the PR if it said they sold five CT's, but they are going to knock it anyway, so go ahead and say it. Truth and light are always better than secrecy. When you look like you are trying to hide something you only raise more doubts.
Sorry for the long-winded post, but just getting it off my chest.
Another sale, will demostrate a good product, will lead to more sales, and for us higher pps.
GLTA
JMHO but I think CC has to get in on this market and I can't imagine them trying to start from scratch. GZFX has its issues and bugs that need to be resolved, but they are farther along than CC would be just starting over with something new or doing it themselves. I may be proven wrong but the CC deal is a given but that is JMHO
I would imagine that anyone who mails volume has an ocassional problem with the USPS. You can't mail out that much stuff and not have some of it lost or torn up. I would guess my ratio is about 1 out of 1000 pieces mailed either gets damaged or lost.
I sell books on line and ship them USPS. Shipping them media mail in US usually takes max time of one week. Ocassionally though, the USPS loses things in the system and stuff shows up long after it should have been there. So that is probably what happened in that situation.
Thanks, for the assessment. I was out all day and wasn't going to be able to watch the pps so I put in a buy order at .009 thinking that it might drop tha low. Didn't make it as far down as I thought. Based on charts do you think we will come down here again? Trying to decide if I ought to wait on buying when it dips again.
Thanks again for your input. Still reading up on charting and trying to learn.
Good find, just being patient with this. Bought high not gonna sell low. Check this board occasionally, but mostly just ignore the whole thing and wait.
Question for chartists - what do you see in your crystal ball?
When I said I hoped that not watching this today would make the pot boil, I didn't mean you folks. Man this is getting personal. I'm pretty new to stock trading, but one thing I read is don't get to emotionally attached to a stock. Of course, it may not be the stock but the money we've got tied up in it that is stirring things up. Hope everyone has a good night's rest and a better day tommorrow.
Morning all. I've got to go out of town for business today and won't be back till this evening. Mom always said a watched pot never boils, so maybe today it will do some boiling since I won't be watching. GLTA
Agreed, nothing else to say. Most is just nonsense and gibberish. I do appreciate the charts that are posted. But I'm all for a quiet period on the board.
Doubt if it will happen though.
What are you basing that on, is it just a hunch or is there some reason you think it will run on a pr this week?
I wonder if anyone can explain to me where the 6 million in projected sales figure comes from? Surely there is some basis for that and they didn't just make up a number our of nothing.
Just wondering
They do have issues they need to work on. I became a sub to see for myself. I don't rent movies that often but when I do I want to rent new releases - ie. movies that have recently stopped showing on the big screens and became available on DVD. There is not much that I would put in the classification in GZFX New Releases category. Stuff like 25 anniv. edition of something is not, IMHO, what most people think of when they think of a new release.
Still believe in the potential and possibilities of this company and at .01 a share, it could be explosive return. I'll be happy if it goes to .02 that's great return for the investment. I'll be jumping up and down at anything higher than that.

Ultradata Systems eyes growth through acquisitions

Thanks, should I look for that early in the day Monday like a gap up or gap down, or will it be a day long trend one way or the other?
Chartists are great, I just wish I could understand you better. I know, I know, go to _______________ and read up. doing that, but won't get it figured out over night. so help your ignorant brethren out here. What, in plain English, does that mean? What should we look for Monday, and at what time? What pps needs to be broken Monday to get us moving up? What is a good buy point if I want to get more shares? I'm not asking you to make any decisions for me, and won't blame you if you are completely wrong. Just trying to learn TA and hoping you could throw a bone my way (that kinda ryhmes!).
Thanks again for your efforts in posting your charts.
What was this letter in response to? What was being asked? Missing something.
Ok, well don't take it personal, but it still looks like it is in the red this morning. I would be glad to be wrong and it is not the end of the world, just pointing out that, as I said a couple of days ago, the trend in pps is down over the last week. I know it is in tenths of a penny, but by % it is down quite a bit over the past week.
I'm not bashing or being negative. I bought HISC last May. Just raising issues for discussion. I'm not a cheerleader or a basher, I believe in the company and want it to be sucessful, but not a koolaid drinker.
Looks like we are opening the day with a gap down. Low ask at .047 and bid at .045
I'm not sure who the people or organizations are that will attend this. It looks like they are a financial sector information society - primarily for investors. That would be a good thing in terms of getting some investor interest, not sure it would help sales.
HISC will be the very last presenter. If people stick it out to the end, that would be positive. My experience in public speaking is you don't want to be right after lunch - people too sleepy. Being last gives them a chance to stick in minds unless there has been info overload by that time.
I see only two pink sheet companies. Lots of AMEX, NYSE, and NASDAQ with some OTCBB also. So they are there with some of the big boys in this industry. The other pinkie is CDOC.
All in all this is not big news, but continues to give credibility to the company.
In your opinion is the primary factor in the pps of HISC going sideways to down because of dilution through stock payments to Apple fritter or because of the lack of solid news of sales?
You said, "in many cases when Barchart says "sell" that's the time to buy and vice versa.....depending on the company" do you mind telling me why that would be the case. Trying to gain ideas and knowledge and hopefully I'll turn it into wisdom.
Thanks
For new Subs is it more helpful to GNF to sign up through CC? I've bought the stock, plan on being a SUB know others who are going to sign up. Don't live in an area where they are testing with CC but could do it on the CC web site. Will it matter?
Good morning. Needed to come in to office early this morning to get going on a project that I'm behind on (too much time reading this board I think). Anyway checked board before getting down to my real job. Just wondering if we have any chartists on this board. Trying to learn about TA. Barchart shows every TA indicator to be red, sell, weak, bearish. It is 80% short term sell, 100% medium term sell, and 67% long term sell. It also shows the Support at .0423 and the Pivot Point at .0483. In boards opinion how much can one rely on TA in a penny stock, or is pps all about PRs or should both be weighed into the equation as when to buy and sell.
Any wisdom is appreciated.
Hoping for this to turn up soon.
I mentioned a couple of days ago that the trend was downward as to the closing pps EOD for the past week. I thought about selling then, but changed my mind. Well, should have went with the gut. Could have sold broke even, maybe bought in again lower. Another lessons learned.
