Companies Are Developing Cannabis-Based Cancer Treatments. Will the Medical Community Take Notice?
Some promising new drugs are on the way.
By Jason Najum December 23, 2021
Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.
Anyone remotely familiar with the ravages of cancer will understand the pressing need for the development of alternative treatments. Often overshadowed by the disease's potential prognosis are the side effects of the treatments, which run from mild to extremely painful, and can affect patients' quality of life and treatment options.
Potential allies in this fight are cannabis compounds and their derivatives. Despite still being illegal in most countries, cannabis-based products are slowly getting approved for medicinal use. With much anecdotal evidence about the benefits of CBD and THC for therapeutic use, adding these tools to doctors’ arsenals can only be a benefit for patients.
KyOil - Thank you, sir. The current PR sure looks promising.

Update: MJ02 In Israel
Dear Zion Supporters and Shareholders,
We very much look forward to 2022 with all of you.
Zion has been actively moving forward, and thankful that we have completed our planned logging operations.
After reviewing these logs, our third-party engineering group has recommended bringing in specialized completion liners for the next steps and for the indicated zones of potential production.
We are also moving ahead with entry requirements for our additional completions and testing crew. To this end, additional tubing and ancillary items have also been procured and are in the shipping process.
Operating environments are continually changing with covid restrictions and guidelines. We are working with the necessary governing bodies to navigate these challenges.
We are thankful for all the continued prayers and support for this vital phase of our operations.
Sincerely,
Rob Dunn
CEO
IRisky - LOL
Ya - right.
Lakota - Agree.
KyOil - Again, thanks for your valuable insight as a person who has experience in the oil drilling business.
Porgie - One thing is for certain: In time, it will be known if you are 100% correct, or 100% wrong, and people will remember what you said. Best to you.
Why cuss?
It’s still relevant information
Ysung - if you are correct, then this will be an excellent time to purchase for so longs! I hope you are right. Thanks! Happy new year and best to you. Prosper in 2022.
My understanding of results and findings is not linked to a specific time, as time will dictate according to circumstances and conditions. Many times, myself included, we want to see results according to our own timeline. I’m certain that in the fullness of time, we will hear the news. This is my opinion.
Goldbug - do you have a link for this?
Bruce - You got my curiosity going. I found this regarding your prophecy idea that you mentioned in your post: Isaiah 45:3: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou may knowest that I, the Lord, which call thee by name, am the God of Israel. Your read on this? Thanks and happy new year. Best to you.
Lakota - I really appreciate you posting this at times. It’s a good reminder for all of us long investors. 2022 is the time, in my opinion.
cb - we won’t know until news hits. Speculation is an opinion only at this point. Best to you.
Mmmm - can’t open the picture
Additional research information:
Oil and gas separators
Jump to navigationJump to search
An oil/gas separator is a pressure vessel used for separating a well stream into gaseous and liquid components. They are installed either in an onshore processing station or on an offshore platform. Based on the vessel configurations, the oil/gas separators can be divided into horizontal, vertical, or spherical separators. In teams of fluids to be separated, the oil/gas separators can be grouped into gas/liquid two-phase separator or oil/gas/water three-phase separator. Based on separation function, the oil/gas separators can also classified into primary phase separator, test separator, high-pressure separator, low-pressure separator, deliquilizer, degasser, etc. To meet process requirements, the oil/gas separators are normally designed in stages, in which the first stage separator is used for priliminary phase separation, while the second and third stage separator are applied for further treatment of each individual phase (gas, oil and water). Depending on a specific application, oil/gas separators are also called deliquilizer or degasser. The deliquilizers are used to remove dispersed droplets from a bulk gas stream; while the degassers are designed to remove contaimined gas bubbles from the bulk liquid stream.
More research:
The term separator in oilfield terminology designates a pressure vessel used for separating well fluids produced from oil and gas wells into gaseous and liquid components. A separator for petroleum production is a large vessel designed to separate production fluids into their constituent components of oil, gas and water. A separating vessel may be referred to in the following ways: Oil and gas separator, Separator, Stage separator, Trap, Knockout vessel (Knockout drum, knockout trap, water knockout, or liquid knockout), Flash chamber (flash vessel or flash trap), Expansion separator or expansion vessel, Scrubber (gas scrubber), Filter (gas filter). These separating vessels are normally used on a producing lease or platform near the wellhead, manifold, or tank battery to separate fluids produced from oil and gas wells into oil and gas or liquid and gas. An oil and gas separator generally includes the following essential components and features:
1. A vessel that includes (a) primary separation device and/or section, (b) secondary “gravity” settling (separating) section, (c) mist extractor to remove small liquid particles from the gas, (d) gas outlet, (e) liquid settling (separating) section to remove gas or vapor from oil (on a three-phase unit, this section also separates water from oil), (f) oil outlet, and (g) water outlet (three-phase unit).
2. Adequate volumetric liquid capacity to handle liquid surges (slugs) from the wells and/or flowlines.
3. Adequate vessel diameter and height or length to allow most of the liquid to separate from the gas so that the mist extractor will not be flooded.
4. A means of controlling an oil level in the separator, which usually includes a liquid-level controller and a diaphragm motor valve on the oil outlet.
5. A back pressure valve on the gas outlet to maintain a steady pressure in the vessel.
6. Pressure relief devices.
Separators work on the principle that the three components have different densities, which allows them to stratify when moving slowly with gas on top, water on the bottom and oil in the middle. Any solids such as sand will also settle in the bottom of the separator. The functions of oil and gas separators can be divided into the primary and secondary functions which will be discussed later on.
Classification of oil and gas separators
Started some research:

Ben & BP - thanks, Ben, for the info and thanks, BP, for posting the photo of the separator. I’d like to see KyOil weigh in on this.
Looking good, all.
KyOil - always good seeing you out here, brother
Good point, Pete.
Lakota - good for you. I wish I had the money to do the same. Great opportunity here.
