instead of asking this question nearly every single day.... try this. THANKS!

that's not necessarily true...there will most likely be a moderator on coveritlive (probably DK) who will filter the questions to prevent dumb questions/profanity etc. (I also wouldn't be surprised if hard-hitting questions are filtered). I also hope there are no "plants".
the question is what means will be/were used to obtain additional acreage? Hopefully not dilution at these prices...
You do realize you are asking Exile to reveal inside information to you, right? I don't think Try has been asking for inside info.
pure BS - and no offense to you.
thanks - that would be appreciated bud!
a) SEO is not a USD billionaire
b) I can't imagine he enjoyed having an investment that was worth 300+million at one point now only worth ~30mm.
The ship for alternate growth strategies has now sailed...working on a plan B may have worked around PSC-signings when we had some money to work with. Unfortunately management has managed to p*ss alot of it way through bad investments (Stanford), poor cost control...doubled office space for what exactly? paying 6 figure salaries to "executives" who have yet to accomplish anything on their own, jet-setting throughout the world etc etc and now trying a growth strategy about 3 to 4 years to late by buying a penny stock on the open market (even that has been executed poorly as they ran the market up and we are most likely underwater on it already).
It's obvious that SNP is waiting to see the results of Total's drilling in block 1 and I think it's a smart move even if I hate as an ERHC shareholder. If there is success, things will get exciting around here. At this point, no growth strategy can get the SP to the price we all dream of. The only thing that can do that is the JDZ (and maybe the EEZ). I wish they would shut up, stop doing conferences, find a tiny office and simply wait to see what Total does. Peter needs to batten down the hatches and make sure we have some money left in the rainy-day fund so that we can at least see what happens. I am not holding my breath
regarding Stanford...not sure about you, but if a bank was offering 2 to 3 times the standard CD rate, a few red flags would probably be raised, especially on the corporate level.
how can you agree with that post after posting this:

Re: ERHC has proven post# 241227 Post # of 241409
Even scarier numbers:
ERHC has 2.3 cents per share of cash in the bank. In addition to that ERHC is sitting on a net loss to date of $77+ million which if rolled (via merger/buyout/reverse buyout) into a profitable entity, in a 34% corporate tax bracket this is equivalent to another 3.5 cents per share.
To use your phrase.... that means this management team has convinced the market that its assets in total are worth (a maximum) of 3 cents per share.
This argument alone screams that someone should be held more accountable than they have been to this point
hahaha man this post is a keeper.
excellent (and pitiful) post.
these institutions don't "register" on the Nasdaq website. this website simply tracks the data. There is no requirement for an institution to "register" with this Nasdaq website, especially since ERHC trades on the OTCBB.
SEC vs an fyi website. I think 10 out of 10 people would side with the SEC as having slightly more accurate info.
I would recommend some stock market 101 books to get you started in navigating the basics.
have a succient day!
actually they filed a proxy for 60,641,821 shares for the last meeting....OOOPS. Point succiently(??) proved
FAB still owns the shares - ERHC simply stopped reporting any ownership below 10% in their filings due to complaints from shareholders. This was discussed awhile back and some of us got confirmation from the company.
looks like the accumulation is continuing!!!
Nice work management! Never ever thought I would see sub 10 cents.
Extension of 2,3 and 4 due to waiting for block 1 drilling results.
interesting as that confirms alot of our suspicions on this.
AIM listing delayed until we have some acquisition projects to do a fund raising at the same time.
so the story changes yet again? were they lying to us before about our "extensive" history holding up the process?! unreal
we've gone through this before and there is another side...there are a ton of advantages to putting deals like this in a public company vs private even if he doesn't own the full 100%. One of the biggest advantages is financing...
you mean the accumulation that is going on...at least according to some on this board.
hey...according to some here, there is accumulation going on! Apparently accumulation now equals a massive downward trend in the chart. No wonder I haven't made money in this stock...I had it backwards!
Any info on block 1 drilling? appears that's about all we have to hold on to at this point. Successful block 1 will surely speed up the "extension"
that chart says it all - and according to some here, there are "buyers" out there in droves...except buyers usually make the stock price go up. yeah someone is absorbing the shares...all the way down to single digits if this "buying" trend doesnt stop.
blowing millions and millions of dollars since the PSC's were signed with nothing to show hasn't convinced you?!
DR J - this is a "side" job for him. He has a real salary job. BOD members dont do anything with day-to-day stuff.
becoming a board member is not exactly career-threatening. Basically all he is doing right now is getting paid to (maybe) meet quarterly. Now if he left addax and took a real job at ERHC, you might have a point. Board jobs are about as cushy as they come for a company as small as this with basically no real operations.
it is legal - it's part of the DD process and plenty of CA's and NDA's can be signed.
TT - could be (I hope) but the last extension announcements were staggered as well.
king - some people only see what they want to see...no matter how much the truth smacks them in the face.
jockeying...JDZ-wide development...buyout....buy-in...catbird seat...TOTALly....etc etc
it's amazing how the human mind can rationalize bad news item after bad news item.
At this point, I wish they would just stop all spending and wait out the JDZ and EEZ. as much as it sucks, we aren't going to get much value elsewhere with this current management team. I'm in until 0 or 10 bucks.
hey marty - are we halted?!
classic strawman argument/premise...you are asking me to prove something based on facts that don't exist. Not sure how you can ask me to prove something that doesn't exist?
pretty sure last extensions were staggered as well. I don't think it means anything...actually it means that most of these guys are incompetent and have zero experience in dealing in the big leagues.
I agree - SNP must have the largest bargaining chip in history. I have never seen such domination at the negotiating table. I can just imagine four Chinese guys in white jump suits and hardhats wheeling in this gigantic chip to every meeting and the JDA "officials" (i use that term for them very lightly) just staring in wonder. "Ok SNP, you win...do what you wish!"
sorry TT - that's just wishful thinking. Total has given zero indication they are interested in anything else besides Block 1. I guess our only hope at this point is for the upcoming wells in block 1.
It's stunning how the JDA let's SNP walk all over them. Amazing.
thanks TT - this is one of your posts that i certainly do NOT enjoy. ughhh
that's what I am requesting...I sure don't know of one.
what's worse? posting opinions about ERHC in good-spirited and creative fun when 99% of the board knows it's just that....OR posting opinions, stated as fact, or 7-year old articles intended to mislead and possibly resulting in good, but inexperienced investors miscontruing and connecting dots about ERHC that aren't and will never be there?
Not sure what your definition of "jockeying" is but my understanding of the word is not what is currently happening. What is currently happening is most of the players simply relinquishing their rights. Can you post the link where it shows companies rushing in to be apart of the JDZ and EEZ?
haha good stuff.
nothing
How nice would it have been to have Walter still running this company...
